Abstract

Generation Z has unique characteristics that distinguish them from previous generations, such as dependence on technology and preference for dynamic and interactive learning methods. This article aims to examine the effectiveness of interactive approaches in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Generation Z students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in several secondary schools in Indonesia. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that interactive approaches, such as the use of digital media, group discussions, and simulations, can increase students' engagement, understanding, and application of religious values. This article recommends wider implementation of these methods to optimize PAI learning.

Abstract

This study examines the Implementation of Android-based digital learning media developed using iSpring Suite at MIN 3 Jember for IPAS learning in the fourth grade. The study aims to enhance students' understanding of abstract concepts through an interactive application integrating visual animations, quizzes, and curriculum-aligned learning materials. Despite the growing adoption of digital learning tools, there remains a gap in research on their effectiveness in improving conceptual understanding in elementary education. This study addresses that gap by evaluating the impact of an offline-accessible application designed to overcome challenges related to limited devices and unstable internet connections. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at MIN 3 Jember, an Islamic school in East Java. The subjects were 30 fourth-grade students and an IPAS teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field studies. Observations focused on student interactions, learning media use, and responses. Interviews explored teachers' and students' experiences. Documentation included syllabi, lesson plans, and learning materials. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion verification through triangulation. The findings indicate that the application improves students' comprehension of abstract concepts like the water cycle while enhancing motivation and engagement. However, infrastructure limitations persist, necessitating better resources and teacher training. Overall, this study highlights the effectiveness of Android-based digital learning media in fostering engaging learning experiences and provides recommendations for educators and developers.

Abstract

Era teknologi dan informasi mengharuskan penghuninya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan daya saing, pada era tersebut persaingan di segala bidang tak terelakkan dan manusia membutuhkan ketelitian, keteguhan, amanah, tanggung jawab dan berani menghadapi risiko dari berbagai tindakan dan profesi yang menjadi pilihan, peningkatan kompetensi tersebut salah satunya harus dilakukan melalui pengembangan literasi. Realitas mayoritas lulusan pesantren masih banyak yang belum mencapai kompetensi minimal pada ranah kognitif , afektif dan psikomotorik. Hal ini bisa ditelusuri banyaknya lulusan pesantren yang masih belum sepenuhnya menguasai baca kitab, memahami dan menuntaskan materi minimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan regulasi dan implementasi pembelajaran literasi membaca di pondok pesantren. Jenis penelitian menggunakan field research, dengan paradigma fenomenologi yang mengambil kasus dua pesantren di Jawa Timur yaitu pesantren Sidogiri . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dept interview, observasi partisipan dan dokumentasi. Dengan uji keabahan data trianggulasi, uji kredibilatas dan perpanjangan keterlibatan, dependabilitas, konfirmabilitas dan transferabilitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Regulasi pembelajaran literasi membaca di pondok pesantren Sidogiri direncanakan berdasarkan musyarawarah pengurus dengan nama jam belajar dan musyawarah yang kemudian dikonsultasikan kepada pengasuh untuk mendapatkan persetujuan untuk dilaksnakan dan implemenasinya berupa kegiatan jam belajar, musyawarah dan belajar mandiri.

Abstract

The 21st century known as the period of globalization has had so much influence on the life sector. The education sector is no exception; the period of globalization is marked by the mingling of western culture and the rapid development of technology and qualified expertise in various work and industry sectors. They are making it a new challenge for Islamic boarding schools or pondok pesantren that must maintain their existence in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as an institution that provides not only religious provisions but also skills and praxis for santri in facing the 21st century. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of case study. The implementation of life skills education in increasing emotional, behavior, and cognitive autonomy contained various pesantren activities such as development activities: al- banjari, computer mastery, scouts, English club, keputrian, karate, and PGPQ program. There are life skills educations in implementing self-development programs, namely personal and social skills, including general and specific ones.

Abstract

This research explores the role of scouting activities in shaping the disciplinary character of students at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo. Scouting, as a form of non-formal education, plays a crucial role in instilling values such as faithfulness, nobility, law-abidance, and disci-pline in children and young people. The Ministry of Education and Culture mandates scout-ing activities in schools as a combination of attitudinal values and skills development. The study focuses on scouting activities at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, where scouting be-came a compulsory extracurricular activity in 2017. The extracurricular activities are de-signed to not only develop scouting skills but also to build character, emphasizing politeness, obedience, and discipline. The activities include both indoor and outdoor components, providing students with a holistic learning experience. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation to gather primary data. The results highlight the achievements of MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo scouts, including notable successes in various competitions. Scout coaches play a pivot-al role in implementing activities aligned with the 2013 Curriculum, using learning methods that make the experience enjoyable for students. The study also identifies constraints faced by scouts, such as economic limitations affecting the acquisition of complete attributes. Motiva-tion is found to be positively influenced by external coaches. Despite challenges, the research underscores the importance of discipline character education, emphasizing the need for con-tinuous support from coaches and parents. The internalization of discipline character through scouting activities is evident in students' behaviors, including punctuality, adherence to rules, and completion of tasks on time. While students face difficulties, the coaches' role in providing guidance and motivation is crucial. The research concludes that character education at MI-MA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo effectively shapes disciplined students, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of coaches and students in creating a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

This study is a part of a literature review that attempts to identify the character education principles that are taught to primary school pupils in the movie Hafalan Salah Delisa. This study focuses on the application of character education. To gather data, it consults library materials and the movie Hafalan Shalat Delisa. Library materials provide information about character education, while movie shows provide information about the values the movie por-trays. Our research has led us to the conclusion that the movie Hafalan Shalat Delisa con-tains character education values. These values include religious principles, honesty, toler-ance, discipline, hard work, creativity, and independence; they also include a high degree of curiosity; respect for success and achievement; love and love; a love of reading; care for the environment; care for social issues; and responsibility. The film's morals are applied in com-pliance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation number 20 of 2018, which aims to improve character education.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome the difficulty of understanding class III Inclusive students at Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyah Jember Elementary School in thematic learning on the theme of growth and development of living things. Data from 25 students showed that 80% had difficulty with conventional methods, while 90% needed innovation, especially digital flipbook-based me-dia. As many as 85% of students like digital media, and 83% are interested in interesting il-lustrations. More than 90% agreed with the development of Digital Flipbooks as learning media. This study used the ADDIE research and development method, with validation in-struments and student response questionnaires. Data analysis involved expert judgment, per-centage of questionnaire results, and one-group pretest posttest design. The results of the study are expected to contribute to improving the understanding of grade III Inclusive stu-dents on the theme of growth and development of living things through digital flipbook-based learning media.

Abstract

This research focuses on the design of media english vocabulary pictures cards aimed at class IV-A at MIN 6 Jembrana Bali to teach English vocabulary. the need for the development of learning media that supports interesting English learning and not only that the media used to teach English in class IV-A min 6 jembrana is not suitable for use, therefore researchers developed media english vocabulary pictures cards. but the research only focuses on media design. The research method used in this research is research and development or better known as Development Research using the ADDIE model. Data collection tools in this research are observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data sources in the study are divided into qualitative and quantitative data. The design of English Vocabulary Pictures card Media is made based on the needs analysis which includes the characteristics of students and students' interest in learning media.

Abstract

The existence of issues in the environment of arts and culture material learning activities us-ing musical notation in primary schools is what spurred this research. Researchers created a learning medium based on the Android operating system because these learning activities did not receive positive feedback. 1) The development of augmented reality-based learning materials for fourth-grade elementary schools' arts and crafts classes that explore musical notes. 2) Another goal of this research is to ascertain how media experts and subject matter experts create learning media, and 3) how effective learning media implementation is. The research and development technique was employed in this study, and the end result is a product whose viability has been proven. (1) The design of instructional materials for aug-mented reality employing tools from Adobe Photoshop CC 2021, Adobe XD CC, Blender 3D, Unity 3D, Cubase 12 Pro, and Vuforia SDK (2) The results show that the Augmented Reality learning medium achieves 96.7% (in the small group) and 91.6% (in the big group), showing that it is very effective and well suited for usage as a learning medium. These find-ings led to the conclusion that this arts and crafts learning medium was effective and suita-ble for use as a teaching tool for elementary school fifth graders.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam pengembangan karakter dan pengetahuan individu yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai agama, Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, manajemen pendidikan memainkan peranan yang sangat penting dalam menentukan efektivitas dan kualitas proses belajar mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi manajerial dalam pendidikan Islam di MI Miftahul Ulum Bengkak Wongsorejo Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan informan Ketua YYP Miftahul Ulum dan Kabid Kepesantrenan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Strategi Manajerial dalam Pendidikan Islam yang diterapkan di MI Miftahul Ulum Bengkak Wongsorejo Banyuwangi mencakup 1) Pengelolaan Kurikulum; 2) Pengembangan SDM; 3) Partisipasi Orang Tua; 4) Pemanfaatan Teknologi, dan; 5) Manajemen Keuangan. Dampak dari Strategi Manajerial dalam Pendidikan Islam berdampak signifikan diantaranya: 1) Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran; 2) Peningkatan Motivasi dan Dukungan Siswa; 3) Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Islami; 4) Kesiapan Menghadapi Era Digital. Tantangan atau Hambatan yang dihadapi diantaranya yaitu 1) Keterbatasan Dana; 2) Resistensi Terhadap Perubahan; 3) Keterampilan Teknologi yang kurang; 4) Partisipasi orang tua yang tidak optimal; 5) Infrastruktur yang belum sepenuhnya memadai; 6)Manajemen Waktu dan Komunikasi Internal yang sulit.
