Abstract

Budidaya jamur tiram juga menjadi sebuah peluang bisnis yang cukup menjanjikan. UKM Ngudi Rejeki merupakan salah satu UKM yang menekuni bidang budidaya jamur tiram. UKM ini beralamatkan di Dusun Tlogowono, RT2/RW4 Desa Bono, Kecamatan Tulung, Kabupaten Klaten dan sudah membudidayakan jamur sejak tahun 2006. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh UKM Ngudi Rejeki antara lain jamur tiram segar, baglog jamur untuk budidaya, dan keripik jamur. Salah satu proses yang sangat penting dalam pembuatan baglog jamur adalah sterilisasi baglog. Saat ini, mitra menggunakan peralatan sederhana berupa drum bekas yang digunakan dalam proses penguapan. Penggunaan drum bekas mengakibatkan proses penguapan membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan bahan bakar yang banyak. Terlebih kualitas yang dihasilkan dalam proses penguapan menggunakan drum bekas tidak konsisten dan menyebabkan baglog tidak mempunyai kualitas yang maksimal. Tim pengabdian hadir untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra. Pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan diharapkan meningkatkan produktivitas UKM yang nantinya menjadi stimulus guna meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya pengurangan waktu dan bahan bakar yang diperlukan dalam tahap sterilisasi, peningkatan kualitas baglog hasil sterilisasi, mitra mampu mengoperasikan TTG dengan baik dan benar, peningkatan kompetensi mitra dalam mengelola marketplace yang dimiliki, penambahan jangkauan konsumen dari pemasaran secara online, mitra mampu menghasilkan foto produk yang berkualitas dan penambahan jangkauan konsumen dari pemasaran secara online.Kata Kunci: Pemetaan Sosial; Participatory Rural Appraisal; Organisasi Kemasyarakatan

Abstract

Sampah dibagi menurut komposisinya menjadi 60% sampah organik, 15% plastik, 10% kertas dan 15% (misalnya logam, kaca, kain, kulit). Pengolahan limbah organik dari serangga menggunakan larva black soldier fly (BSF), belum tersebar luas dan belum banyak diteliti di Indonesia. Larva BSF merupakan strategi inovatif dan salah satu metode pengelolaan sampah organik berkelanjutan yang dapat mengurangi beban sampah TPA dan dapat membuka peluang ekonomi baru yang menguntungkan bagi penduduk kota dan skala kecil. perusahaan di negara berkembang. Tujuan dari program ini pemilahan sampah organik dan anorganik melalui program “Sahabat Omah Limbah”. sasaran dari program ini adalah masyarakat Desa Gempol. Metode kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dengan menggunakan power point dan booklet yang dibagikan kepada peserta. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kuesioner ecara keseluruhan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai sampah mencapai 66%. Manfaat dari kegiatan ini adalah menambah pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai sampah organik dan anorganik serta pembuatan makan Maggot dari sampah organik.

Abstract

The performance and stability of biodiesel are strongly influenced by its fatty acid composition, particularly the balance between saturated (SFA) and unsaturated fatty acids (UFA). This study employed the urea inclusion compound (UIC) method to fractionate biodiesel and optimize conditions for obtaining a high-yield, high-quality saturated fraction (UCF). A central composite design (CCD) under response surface methodology (RSM) was used to evaluate the effects of urea-to-methanol ratio, crystallization temperature, and crystallization time on UCF and NUCF yields and iodine values. Experiments were conducted using a range of crystallization temperatures (18–22 °C), times (3–5 h), and urea-to-methanol ratios (1:1.5–1:2.5). The response variables were analyzed and optimized using desirability functions. The results showed that all three factors significantly influenced both the yield and iodine value of the fractions. The optimal condition, urea-to-methanol ratio of 1:1.73, temperature of 19.99 °C, and time of 5 h, yielded 81.59% UCF with an iodine value of 36.65 g I2/100 g, falling within the desired range for high-performance saturated biodiesel. In contrast, the NUCF fraction was minimized to 1.76% and enriched in PUFA. These findings demonstrate the potential of UIC-based fractionation for producing biodiesel with improved oxidative stability and combustion properties, aligning with international quality standards and contributing to more sustainable fuel formulations.

Abstract

Reformasi birokrasi telah dikenal luas di Indonesia baik dalam tataran konsep maupun praktis. Istilah reformasi birokrasi dikenal dengan sebutan reformasi administrasi negara yaitu sebuah terminologi yang mencakup domain politik, ekonomi, hukum, sosial, budaya hingga pertahanan dan keamanan; legislatif, eksekutif, dan yudikatif. Bahkan menurut Awaloeddin Djamin (1999), reformasi sektor publik di Indonesia sudah dilakukan sejak awal perjalanan Republik Indonesia. Reformasi sektor publik di Indonesia menurut Awaloedin Djamin (1999) dapat dibagi dalam dua tahap, yaitu pada tahun 1966 yang disebut sebagai overall administrative reform tahap pertama dan kemudian tahun 1999 disebutnya sebagai overall administrative reform tahap kedua. Oleh karena itu sesungguhnya di Indonesia, reformasi birokrasi bukanlah fenomena baru. Namun demikian hingga tahun 2006 ini “reformasi birokrasi” masih tetap menjadi permasalahan yang belum dapat diselesaikan secara tuntas.

Abstract

Duri steam flood is the largest hot steam injection project in Indonesia, facing challenges in preventing production declines. Objective project is showed decrease in production due to crustal deposition (scale). The Stiff and Davis method shows a Stability Index of 1.43, with a tendency for scale formation, especially CaCO3, in accordance with the Ryznar method. Increasing the production of x, yz layer wells in the Duri field, designing acidification stimulation with a pumping pressure of 400 psi, an injection rate of 2 bbl/minute and an acid volume of 600 gallons, after that comparing the performance of hydrochloric acid and carboxylic acid. Analysis showed that hydrochloric stimulation resulted in a significant increase in production of 115 BFPD / 8 BOPD (42% increase), while carboxylate stimulation showed a slower increase of 40 BFPD / 3 BOPD (24% increase). An economic evaluation shows chloride acidification produces an annual NPV gain of $48,002, compared to carboxylate acidification with an annual NPV gain of $22,554. Thus, chloride acidification proved to be economically profitable for the x, yz layers in the Duri field. This study highlights optimal acid stimulation strategies to mitigate scale-related production challenges in steam flood projects.

Abstract

Palm oil mill effluent continues to increases in line with the increase in palm oil production in Indonesia. Therefore, another alternative technology is needed such as the continuous stirred plate column electrocoagulation. Many laboratory scale studies have been carried out. CFD simulation is used as an advanced technology in treating palm oil mill effluent. The objective for this study is to Obtain optimum equipment design conditions for an electrocoagulation reactor using CFD, see the phenomena that occur due to the influence of flow rate variables and electrode distance, and see the trajectory of the solution profile in the reactor. This study was done based on Software Ansys Fluent Version 16.2 64 program with the k-ɛ standard turbulence model. After doing pre-processing, solving and post-processing steps in simulation, then the result of this simulation is analyze. The simulation results obtained were optimal conditions at a flow rate of 0.4 L/min and a plate distance of 2 cm with consecutive residence time values of 2.77; 4.0; and 3.88 hours. In the variation in the influence of flow rate, it can be seen that the phenomenon that the faster the flow rate, the greater the turbulence. In the variation of electrode distance, it can be seen that the phenomenon of electrode distance affects the level of turbulence in the reactor, too far a distance can cause the flow to be too slow. The latter is that the CFD model can accurately predict the trajectory of the solution profile in the stirred plate column electrocoagulation reactor.

Abstract

The prediction of aerodynamic coefficients on airfoils using machine learning is increasingly popular due to its efficiency in time and cost. Research typically focuses on a single image type without comparing various types and output quantities (single or multi-output). Although convolutional neural networks (CNN) are widely used, their final layer is often suboptimal as a linear operator, and feature extraction results contain many parameters that can still be trained. Support vector regression (SVR) with kernel functions effectively reduces common errors in feature vectors. We propose a hybrid method, AeroCNNSVR, combining CNN as a feature extractor and SVR as a regressor to predict aerodynamic coefficients on airfoils. This study focuses on the shape and position of airfoils according to the angle of attack (AoA) without considering flow conditions. Using 14533 aerodynamic coefficients from 563 airfoil types, we created a dataset of grayscale and RGB airfoil images. Results show the proposed method with grayscale images performs better because combining SVR strengthens the predictive model, while grayscale images accurately represent the airfoil's shape and position. AeroCNNSVR achieves lower RMSE values for Cl (0.101522), Cd (0.016450), and Cm (0.129661) compared to the CNN model’s Cl (0.112493), Cd (0.019060), and Cm (0.130041). Additionally, AeroCNNSVR's R² values for Cl (0.976071), Cd (0.928700), and Cm (0.860574) surpass those of the CNN model (Cl 0.970620, Cd 0.904282, Cm 0.816355). This research contributes by 1) proposing an alternative besides CFD for predicting and identifying trends in aerodynamic coefficients of airfoils in a much shorter time during the design stage; 2) offering wind tunnel practitioners for early detection of configuration errors; 3) providing an overview of the aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil under test, including the angle at which stall conditions occur.

Abstract

 Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk melakukan pendampingan kegiatan perencanaan Gapura Rumah lamin Dayak dalam  membantu meninggkatkan citra visual bagi masyarakat kampung dayak, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Kota Balikapapan. fasilitas umum berupa Gapura yang didesain vernakular yaitu mencerminkan lokal dan konstektual di lingkungannya. Dengan desain yang baik secara arsitektural, diharapkan mampu menampilkan tradisi lokal dan akan dapat menumbuhkan kembangkan kegiatan Pariwisata nantinya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu studi lapangan proses desain grafis dan visualisasi. Survei lapangan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data situs, seperti mengukur luas situs dan menganalisis kondisi yang ada. Hasil pengukuran tersebut menjadi awal dari proses perencanaan dasar, yang kemudian berlanjut ke desain ruang pertemuan berupa visualisasi dan perhitungan struktur bangunan.. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah : (1) telah diperbantukan dalam proses perencanaan desain Lamin, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Kota Balikpapan; (2) penyusunan rencana anggaran biaya pelaksanaan pembangunan lamin dan perhitungan struktur bangunan Lamin; (3) dari hasil perencanaan ini akan ditindaklanjuti sebagai Artikel koran daerah yaitu desain Lamin yang kontekstual dengan lingkungannya.

Abstract

AbstrakKelor merupakan tanaman tropis yang kaya fitonutrien dan senyawa bioaktif. Kandungan pada daun kelor mampu mendukung proses pencernaan, absorpsi, metabolisme, dan produktivitas unggas. Pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan dengan konsentrasi yang tepat dapat mengefektifkan proses pencernaan dan absorpsi nutrien dengan memperbaiki struktur mikroanatomi duodenum puyuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan terhadap diameter lumen, tinggi vili, lebar vili, dan tebal muskular duodenum puyuh. Desain penelitian menggunakan RAL dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan konsentrasi pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan meliputi 0, 2,5; 5; 7,5, dan 10%. Preparat histologi dibuat melalui metode parafin dengan pewarnaan Hematoksilin-Eosin (HE). Parameter yang diamati meliputi diameter lumen, tinggi vili, lebar vili, dan tebal lapisan muskular duodenum. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung daun kelor dalam pakan berpengaruh tidak nyata  (P >0,05) terhadap diameter lumen, tinggi vili, dan lebar vili, namun berpengaruh nyata (P <0,05) terhadap tebal lapisan muskular pada duodenum puyuh.  Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan tidak berpotensi mengubah mikroanatomi duodenum puyuh sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai aditif pakan. Namun, pemberian tepung daun kelor dalam pakan berpotensi dalam meningkatkan ketebalan lapisan muskular duodenum puyuh.AbstractMoringa is a tropical plant rich in phytonutrients and bioactive compounds. The content in moringa leaves can support the process of digestion, absorption, metabolism, and productivity of poultry. Giving moringa leaf meal in feed with the right concentration can streamline the digestive process, and nutrient absorption by improving the microanatomical structure of the quail duodenum. This study aims to analyze the provision of moringa leaf flour in feed on the diameter of the lumen, villi height, villi width and muscular thickness of the quail duodenum. The research design used RAL with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment concentration of moringa leaf meal in feed included 0; 2.5; 5; 7.5, and 10%. Histology preparations were made through paraffin method with Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining. Parameters observed included lumen diameter, villi height, villi width, and duodenal muscular layer thickness. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's test using the SPSS program. The results showed that moringa leaf meal in feed had no significant effect (P >0.05) on lumen diameter, villus height and villus width, but had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the thickness of the muscular layer in the duodenum of quail. The conclusion of this study is that the provision of moringa leaf meal in feed does not have the potential to change the microanatomy of the quail duodenum so that it can be utilized as a feed additive. However, the provision of moringa leaf meal in feed has the potential to increase the thickness of the muscular layer of the quail duodenum.

Abstract

AbstractRed tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a freshwater fish that widely liked by Indonesian people. Keeping fish with good water quality will increase productivity. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of adding aeration and using filters on carcass weight, muscle fiber diameter and number of muscle fibers in red tilapia. This research used 24 red tilapia fish with an initial body weight of around 7 g. Divided into 4 groups, namely the maintenance group using one aerator without a filter (ANF), the maintenance group using two aerators without a filter (AANF), the maintenance group using one aerator and using a filter (AF) and the maintenance group using two aerators and using a filter (AAF). The results showed that rearing red tilapia fish in the group rearing two aerators and using a filter had a significant effect (P <0.05) on carcass weight, muscle fiber diameter, and number of muscle fibers. Observation of the muscle histology structure showed that there was no damage to the muscle histology structure. The conclusion of this research indicate that additional aerator equipped with filters will supports the growth of red tilapia fish.AbstrakIkan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus) merupakan ikan yang banyak disukai masyarakat Indonesia. Pemeliharaan ikan dengan kualitas air yang baik akan memberikan peningkatan produktivitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penambahan aerasi dan penggunaan filter terhadap bobot karkas, diameter serabut otot serta jumlah serabut otot pada ikan nila merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan 24 ekor ikan nila merah dengan bobot badan awal berkisar 7 g. Dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok, yaitu kelompok pemeliharaan menggunakan satu aerator tanpa filter (ANF), kelompok pemeliharaan menggunakan dua aerator tanpa filter (AANF), kelompok pemeliharaan menggunakan satu aerator dan menggunakan filter (AF) serta kelompok pemeliharaan menggunakan dua aerator dan menggunakan filter (AAF). Hasil menunjukkan pemeliharaan ikan nila merah pada kelompok pemeliharaan dua aerator dan menggunakan filter berpengaruh nyata (P <0,05) terhadap bobot karkas, diameter serabut otot, dan jumlah serabut otot. Pada pengamatan struktur histologi otot menunjukkan tidak adanya kerusakan struktur histologi otot. Kesimpulan penelitian ini penambahan aerator dilengkapi filter mendukung pertumbuhan ikan nila merah.
