Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate and describe the management of character building through such management functions as planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. This research was included in the type of qualitative research, with the data sources of 12 informants. The data were collected in using observation, interview, and documentation. Results of this research showed that: (1) planning to arrange character building program was through designing lesson plan completed with three main activities: intracurricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular, (2) organizing the character building was carried out through formation of a team of teachers in acoordance with their tasks and functions, (3) implementating character building was learner-oriented in understanding concept and habituation of character building, and (4) evaluating management in character building was conducted through daily observation, supported by school community, with an indicator of success that learners were able to instill character building and implement this character building in their daily life.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan manajemen pembudayaan karakter melalui fungsi manajemen seperti perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan sumber data 12 informan. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) perencanaan menyusun program pembudayaan karakter adalah melalui rancangan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang dilengkapi dengan tiga kegiatan utama: intrakulikuler, ko-kulikuler, dan ekstrakulikuler, (2) pengorganisasian pembudayaan karakter ini di lakukan dengan pembentukan tim guru, sesuai tugas dan fungsinya, (3) pelaksanaan pembudayaan karakter berorientasi pada pemahaman konsep dan pembiasaan pembudayaan karakter, dan (4) evaluasi manajemen pembudayaan karakter dilakukan melaui pengamatan harian, didukung oleh masyarakat. sekolah, indikator keberhasilan peserta didik mampu menanamkan pembudayaan karakter dan melaksanakan pembudayaan karakter dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci : manajemen mutu sekolah, pembudayaan, pendidikan karakter

Abstract

The focus of the study: 1) the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 in SMAN 1 Gadingrejo, 2) inhibiting factors of ISO 9001:2008 program at SMAN 1 Gadingrejo, 3) the factors supporting the ISO 9001:2008 program at SMAN 1 Gadingrejo. This is qualitative research approach with a case study design. Techniques of data collection are with interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of this study provide conclusions: 1) There are factors that hinder the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo, which is about discipline and management of facilities and teachers. 2) There are factors that support the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo, there is the principal participation in the implementation of ISO 9001:2008, participation of teachers in implementing the tasks and participation of school committees and school community. This study revealed an increase in the future needs to be built quality management.Fokus dari penelitian ini: 1) pelaksanaan ISO 9001:2008 di SMAN 1 Gadingrejo, 2) faktor program ISO 9001:2008 menghambat di SMAN 1 Gadingrejo, 3) faktor pendukung program ISO 9001:2008 di SMAN 1 Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan: 1) Ada faktor-faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan ISO 9001:2008 SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo, yang adalah tentang disiplin dan manajemen fasilitas dan guru. 2) Ada faktor-faktor yang mendukung implementasi program ISO 9001 : 2008 di SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo, yaitu partisipasi kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan ISO:2008, partisipasi guru dalam melaksanakan tugas dan partisipasi komite sekolah dan warga sekolah. Penelitian ini diungkapkan kedepannya perlu dibangun peningkatan manajemen mutu.Kata kunci: implementasi, manajemen mutu, standar internasional

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the implementation of teacher performance appraisal management in Junior high school, consist of: 1) planning, 2) organization, 3) actuating, 4) controlling/ monitoring, 5 ) the role of assessors, 6) the obstacles / obstructions in the appraise teacher performance, 7) support of stakeholders. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach, with the design of phenomenology. The collecting data then compiled, interpreted, analyzed, reduced, and described. The results showed that: The implementation of Teacher Performance Appraisal, which was obtained through: Optimization implementation of management functions, supported Total Quality Education, Integrated Quality Management of Education, and was designed by Technical Directive of Teacher Performance Appraisal, can improve the quality of teacher performance appraisal implementation. All of those can be described: 1) The mapping of the quality and teachers competence, 2) Teachers carry out their duties in accordance duties and functions, 3) Increasing the service quality of teachers in the learning process (professional teacher).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi manajemen penilaian kinerja guru di SMP, terdiri: 1) perencanaan 2) pengorganisasian, 3) pelaksanaan , 4) pengawasan, 5) peran penilai (asesor), 6) kendala/hambatan, 7) dukungan stakeholders. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan rancangan fenomenologi. Data yang diperoleh untuk disusun, dimaknai, dianalisis, direduksi, dan dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Implementasi Manajemen Penilaian Kinerja Guru, yang diperoleh melalui: optimalisasi fungsi manajemen pendidikan, yang didasari Total Quality Education, dan dirancang berdasarkan Petunjuk Teknis Penilaian Kinerja Guru, memberikan gambaran positif terhadap kualitas implementasi manajemen penilaian kinerja guru. Hal ini dapat tergambar: 1) Terpetanya kualitas dan komptensi guru, 2) Guru melaksanakan tugasnya sesuai tugas pokok dan fungsi, 3) Meningkatnya kualitas layanan guru dalam proses pembelajaran (guru professional). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relation between supervision of principals and achievement motivation to performance of State Primary School Teacher of all districts of South Teluk Betung Bandar Lampung. The research using descriptive quantitative method. Data obtained through the questionnaire and documentation, and then analyzed using correlation and regression techniques, both simple and double. The hypothesis testing is done by the product moment correlation and multiple correlations, which has previously been performed testing requirements analysis; those are normality and homogeneity test. The results of research show: 1) there is a positive and significant relation between the principal supervision to teachers’ performance. 2) There is a positive and significant relation between achievement motivations to teachers’ performance. 3) There is a positive and significant relation between supervision of principals and achievement motivation to teachers’ performance.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja Sekolah Dasar Negeri Guru dari seluruh kabupaten Teluk Betung Selatan Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi, sederhana dan ganda. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan korelasi product moment dan korelasi ganda, yang sebelumnya telah melakukan pengujian persyaratan analisis, yaitu normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pengawasan utama terhadap kinerja guru. 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara prestasi motivasi terhadap kinerja guru. 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja guru.Kata kunci: supervisi kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi, kinerja guru

Abstract

This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and follow-up assessment of learning social studiesin State Primary School 4 Metro Center. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used interviews, scrutiny of documents and observation. Data were analyzed using measures of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Mechanical examination of the validity of data by using triangulation techniques and resources. The results showed that in terms of planning assessment of social studies learning, teachers have formulated learning indicator, determining aspects assessed, choose thetechnical assessment and developing assessment instruments. Implementation of the social studies learningassessment tend not in accordance with the marking plan has been formulated in a syllabus or lesson plans. Ratings have been fair, but do not meet the objective principle. Follow-up assessments in social studies in State Primary School 4 Metro Center have been implemented.Key Words: the ability of teachers, assessment of learning, social studies Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan tindak lanjut penilaian pembelajaran IPS di SDN 4 Metro Pusat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam hal perencanaan penilaian pembelajaran IPS, guru telah merumuskan indikator pembelajaran, menentukan aspek yang dinilai, memilih teknik penilaian dan mengembangkan instrument penilaian. Pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran IPS cenderung belum sesuai dengan perencanaan penilaian yang telah dirumuskan dalam silabus ataupun RPP. Penilaian sudah adil, namun belum memenuhi prinsip objektif. Penguatan yang diberikan guru terhadap siswa berupa pujian, teguran dan nasehat. Tindak lanjut hasil penilaian pada mata pelajaran IPS di SDN 4 Metro Pusat telah dilaksanakan.Kata kunci: kemampuan guru, penilaian pembelajaran, IPS SD

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out a positive and significant relationship between the realistic mathematics education (RME) approach and the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The population is 58 students . The sample in this study is a saturated sample, where the entire population is sampled. Data collection tools are observations, questionnaires / questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis used is product moment correlation. Based on the elite data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the realistic mathematics education (RME) approach and the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara by showing the correlation coefficient of 0.215 is at a low level. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pendekatan realistic mathematics education (RME) dengan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu ex-postfacto korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 58 peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Alat pengumpul data yaitu observasi, kuesioner/angket dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pendekatan realistic mathematics education (RME) dengan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara dengan ditunjukkan  koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,215 berada pada taraf rendah. Abstract

The aims of the research were to analyze the study result improvement by implementation of quantum learning. Collection of data were obtained through non technical test and observation to determine the teacher performance, affective and psychomotor of students also the test to determine student learning outcomes. Data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative techniques. This research showed an increase in student learning outcomes through the quantum learning.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar melalui model quantum learning. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui teknik non tes dan tes berupa lembar observasi untuk mengetahui kinerja guru, afektif dan psikomotor siswa serta soal tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model quantum learning.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, kinerja guru, model quantum learning

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low student learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Jojog on social studies. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the significant effect of the application of the snowball throwing cooperative learning model to student learning outcomes. This study uses an experimental approach to the non-equivalent control group design research design. The population of this study was 40 students. The research sample of 40 respondents. The instrument used was a test item. The data analysis technique used a statistical test of sparated variance t-test that was started with normality and homogeneity test. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the application of the snowball throwing cooperative learning model to the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Jojog. Tcount value of 3.82, while ttable of 2.042. The comparison shows (3.82 2.042) means that Ha is accepted. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jojog pada IPS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test sparated varians yang diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jojog. Nilai thitung  sebesar 3,82, sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,042. Perbandingan tersebut menunjukan (3,82 2,042) berarti Ha diterima. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, snowball throwing.

Abstract

This research analyze and know the influence of applying model of cooperative learning type jigsaw to result of learning of Civics class V SD Negeri 1 Metro Timur. The type of this research is experimental research with quantitative approach. The research method used is quasi experimental design. The research design used is non-equivalent control group design. Technique of collecting data is done by technique of test and questionnaire. Calculation of hypothesis test using independent formula t-test sample obtained tcount of 3,675 while ttable of 2.021, the comparison shows (3,6752,021) there is positive and significant influence on applying cooperative learning type jigsaw model to result of learning.Penelitian ini menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar PKn kelas V SD Negeri 1 Metro Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasiexperimental design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan angket. Perhitungan uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus independent sampel t-test diperoleh data thitung sebesar 3,675 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,021, perbandingan tersebut menunjukkan (3,6752,021) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar.Kata kunci: jigsaw, hasil belajar, PKn .

Abstract

The research purposes were to increase students democracy attitude, teacher performance and study result by applying think pair share model. Type of research method was classroom action research by using some cycles; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collecting techniques were observation sheet and question test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the applying think pair share model can increase studentsdemocracy attitude and study result of civic education.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan sikap demokrasi, kinerja guru dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model think pair share. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model think pair share dapat meningkatkan sikap demokrasi dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: think pair share, sikap demokrasi, kinerja guru, hasil belajar
