Abstract

This article was written because of the increasing cases of bullying in schools, one of the factors being the diversity of each student. Every student should respect each other's diversity so that good social relations can be established and divisions do not occur. This article was prepared with the aim of finding out what bullying is, what factors cause bullying to occur, what impacts will occur from acts of bullying, and how guidance and counseling teachers play a role in preventing bullying cases in schools.Bullying is a serious problem that has the potential to cause trauma to victims in various fields, including psychological, physical, social and academic. There are several factors that are the source of bullying which are generally classified into three aspects: family background, individual personality, and environmental influences, such as the school environment, social environment, and peers. Every individual who has experienced bullying almost always experiences similar psychological impacts. This psychological impact is a negative result that can be experienced by victims of bullying, which is clearly detrimental to themselves. The actions of the bully can have a long-term impact on the victim's psychological condition, and the victim may always remember the action, causing unpleasant memories for the victim. This impact is the most worrying thing for most people, where a person's psychological state is disturbed due to actions they don't want, and the perpetrator becomes a figure who is feared by many people.Guidance and counseling teachers or counselors have a central role in preventing and overcoming bullying at school. Therefore, effective and comprehensive services are needed for all students by utilizing a variety of skills and resources that can support the performance of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers. When cases of bullying occur, guidance and counseling teachers need to play an active role in resolving the problem and taking steps to prevent bullying from happening again. Guidance and guidance teachers or counselors must provide maximum and comprehensive counseling services that suit students' needs, including implementing an effective counseling guidance program to overcome bullying problems at school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the concept of girls' education in the Al-Qur'an Surah Ali Imran verses 35-37 in Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab. This research uses a literature review (Library Research). The researcher conducted a study of Quraish Shihab's thoughts or ideas contained in his book Tafsir Al Misbah which was then linked to Surah Ali Imran verses 35-37 which relate to the concept of girls education. There are two sources of data in this research, namely the primary source is data obtained directly from the original source, in this research the primary sources are the Al-Qur'an and the Book of Tafsir Al Misbah by Quraish Shihab. Secondary sources are data that are not directly related to the original source and aim to complement primary data. In this data the author uses interpretive books written by Indonesian figures as well as from journals related to the theme. Researchers will use library techniques to obtain data in this research. The results of this research, namely in Tafsir Al-Misbah, Quraish Shihab outlines his views on girls' education based on Surah Ali 'Imran verses 35-37. He explained that 'Imran's family is an example of how to educate children so that they become righteous and pious descendants. This can be achieved by imitating the Prophet in family matters, praying for children, and emphasizing the importance of education that fosters obedience to Allah. Quraish Shihab emphasized that the right to education must be given to girls equally as to boys. The right environment is also very important in the child's growth and development process. Apart from religious education, attention to social education is also necessary to equip children to interact with society.

Abstract

A zoo is one of an ex-situ conservation activity whice aimed to conserve plants and wildlife animal an endangered position, for example; the Panthera tigris sumatrae population are decrease. The zoo were succeed to captivate an animal only if they can adopt their normal life into that place. The aim of this research was to study the animal welfare from Sumatran tiger in two different places; Bandung zoo and Ragunan zoo. This research has been conducted in Desember – February 2017. The research method that are used in this study were interviewed and filling draft animal welfare from Indonesian Ministry of Forest No.P.9/VI-SET/2011. The Result of this research were 77% point for Ragunan zoo and 60% point for Bandung zoo which different mean both of that place. Filling draft animal welfare consist beside five freedom of animal welfare; 1). Freedom from hunger and thirst, 2). Freedom from discomfort, 3). Freedom from injury, paint, and disease, 4). Freedom to express natural behavior, 5). Freedom from fear and distress. The conclusion of this research were Ragunan zoo was better than Bandung zoo to applied animal welfare rules.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction: The PUFA Index and pufa are used to measure the severity of dental and oral conditionwhich are not commonly used due to its novelty, and this index can be used to measure untreated dental caries7 and caries activity. The aims of study are to assess the severity of untreated caries in children’s deciduous and permanent teeth by using the PUFA and pufa index. Methods: An observational study using a cross-sectional study design was conducted among children who lived in Puteran village in Pager Ageung district, Tasikmalaya Regent, West Java, Indonesia. Purposive sampling was used, and the children who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were invited to participate in the study. Severity of caries was assessed using the pufa and PUFA index for deciduous and permanent teeth, respectively. Severity of caries data were analysed using formulas for pufa and PUFA index. Results: A total of 206 children participated in the study. The PUFA assessment showed the severity of caries was high in the deciduous dentition with pufa index of 3.5 with SD 1,9-3,6 However, the PUFA assessment showed a relatively lower severity of caries in permanent teeth, with index PUFA of 0.5 with SD 1,9-3,6. The severity of caries was higher in the maxillary than the mandibular teeth in deciduous teeth. On the other hand, the severity of caries was higher in the mandibular than maxillary teeth in the permanent teeth. Conclusions: Each child aged 6 and 12 years in Puteran village had severe untreated caries in one permanent tooth and severe untreated caries in 3 to 4 of deciduous teeth. The findings of the study will be used to develop caries prevention and oral health promotion programs.KEYWORDS Caries, Severity, Deciduous, Permanent, teeth, PUFA, PUFA index, children

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen berbasis daring bagi anak usia dini di KB-TK Charis Malang.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian di temukan bahwa pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen berbasis daring bagi anak usia dini di KB-TK Charis Malang selama pembelajaran daring hanya dilakukan satu kali dalam seminggu karena terbatasnya waktu dengan menggunakan zoom, google class room, dan pemberian tugas melalui drive thru. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya KB-TK Charis  tetap mengintegrasikan PAK ke setiap subject lainnya.  Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring ada tantangan yang dihadapi seperti kendala pada jaringan internet, guru tidak bisa melihat perkembangan sosial anak, tidak bisa melihat perkembangan karakter anak secara langsung dan orang tua harus membagi waktu dalam mendampingi anak belajar.

Abstract

Dalam industri pertanian modern, mengidentifikasi jenis buah sangat penting untuk menjamin kualitas dan distribusi produk. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan K-Means Clustering untuk segmentasi dan identifikasi Apel Fuji dan Apel Hijau menggunakan fitur dari citra buah. Proses dimulai dengan pengolahan citra, konversi dari RGB ke LBA, kemudian data hasil konversi dianalisis menggunakan K-Means Clustering. Selanjutnya dilakukan ekstraksi bentuk dan tekstur. Dari 20 gambar (10 apel Fuji dan 10 apel hijau), hasil menunjukkan bahwa 1 apel tidak teridentifikasi dengan benar, dengan akurasi mencapai 95%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa metode K-Means Clustering cukup akurat dalam mengidentifikasi jenis apel.

Abstract

Instructional media encompasses all resources that can be utilized to systematically convey content from educators to students, thereby facilitating effective and efficient learning. The objective of this community service initiative is to provide educational media for reading and arithmetic, including cards, posters, and videos, by leveraging the Canva application. The method employed in the execution of this initiative involves mentoring during the learning process and training in the use of the Canva application. Data collection techniques include a pre-test to assess students' initial reading and arithmetic abilities, followed by a post-test to evaluate any subsequent improvements in these skills. The results indicate a significant enhancement in students' reading abilities, with an increase of 28 points, and a 23-point improvement in arithmetic skills. Additionally, this activity has enabled teachers to become more acquainted with the Canva application, which has proven to be beneficial in the creation and development of instructional media.

Abstract

Program Penguatan Kapasitas Organisasi Mahasiswa (PPK Ormawa) BEM FIKOM Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau melaksanakan pengabdian di Desa Koto Masjid, Kabupaten Kampar, dengan tujuan memaksimalkan pemanfaatan, pengolahan, serta pengurangan limbah tulang ikan patin, serta mengembangkan UMKM yang ada dengan konsep kreatif dan dapat dipasarkan secara lebih luas baik offline maupun online. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan pengelolaan limbah tulang ikan patin menjadi tepung, cookies dan kerupuk, pelatihan strategi pemasaran produk baik secara online dan offline, revitalisasi galeri wirausaha serta pelatihan pengelolaan limbah jeroan menjadi pakan alternatif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah Umkm, prototipe produk, pakan alternatif, keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah menjadi produk bernilai jual serta keterampilan masyarakat dalam memasarkan produk berbasis offline dan online. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan potensi ekonomi lokal tetapi juga memperkaya keterampilan mahasiswa dalam bidang manajemen dan problem solving, menciptakan dampak positif berkelanjutan bagi Desa Koto Masjid dan lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

The Discovery Learning (DL) paradigm is a learning approach that encourages students to independently discover knowledge and concepts through active engagement in the learning process. This approach has been widely applied in various teaching methods, particularly in Indonesian language learning. However, traditional teaching methods, such as lectures, are still frequently used in many classrooms, where the teacher plays a dominant role and minimally involves students actively. As a result, students lose interest and enthusiasm for the material being taught and are less engaged in the learning process.The implementation of the Discovery Learning model provides opportunities for students to be more active in the learning process, thereby supporting the successful achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to analyze how the Discovery Learning approach can improve elementary school students' reading comprehension skills. The approach used in this research is a literature review of previous studies published in the last five years.A total of 15 relevant articles were collected and analyzed to gain insights into the effectiveness of this learning model. The results of the review indicate that Discovery Learning can enhance student engagement, build better reading comprehension, and increase students' interest in learning. Therefore, Discovery Learning is an effective learning model to be applied in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Agriculture in Indonesia is a vital sector that absorbs around 28.21% of the workforce and contributes 13.57% to GDP in the third quarter of 2023. Agriculture in Gampong Paya Baro faces challenges with the introduction of animals into rice fields due to deforestation. This study aims to explain the strategy of using CSR funds to improve the economy of farmers and how the community prevents conflicts with these animals. The method used by the researcher is qualitative. Gampong Paya Baro Agriculture has several CSR programs including the provision of seeds and fertilizers, irrigation, water pumps, and rice threshers. While the way the community prevents animals from entering the settlement is by lighting torches, firecrackers, building fences, and calling professional handlers.
