Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen, perlakuan diberikan pada satu kelompok eksperimen tanpa kelompok kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA Biologi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest desain. Populasi  adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Watampone berjumlah 338 siswa terdiri dari 13 rombel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT  meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA Biologi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Watampone (2) Hasil belajar IPA Biologi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Watampone mengalami peningkatan melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (3) penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar IPA Biologi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Watampone (4) penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA Biologi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Watampone.Kata Kunci: motivasi belajar, Hasil  belajar, Numbered Head Together

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak empat kali pertemuan dalam dua siklus menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 1 Dua Boccoe pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Pengumpulan data motivasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket motivasi, data aktivitas menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas dan data hasil belajar diperoleh menggunakan tes hasil belajar siklus I dan Siklus II. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar dengan nilai rata-rata pada siklus I 76,3 menjadi 77,7 (2) Ada peningkatan aktivitas belajar, nilai rata-rata persentase aktivitas pada siklus I sebesar 86% menjadi 95% pada siklus II. (3) Terjadi Peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan 53% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88%. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan motivasi, aktivitas, dan hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa.Kata Kunci : Make a Match, Motivasi, Aktivitas, dan Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengadopsi model Borg dan Gall yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone.Sampel penelitian adalah 30 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Tellusiattinge.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian autentik yang telah dikembangkan pada materi sistem ekskresi berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilai 3,78 untuk sikap, 3,64 untuk keterampilan dan 3,58 untuk tes kognitif. Untuk uji reliabilitas instrumen penilaian sikap dan tes kognitif berada pada kategori reliabel dengan nilai 0,760 dan 0,723, sedangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan berada pada kategori tidak reliabel dengan nilai 0,633. Tes kognitif yang telah dikembangkan memiliki kualitas tingkat kesukaran: kategori mudah 33%, kategori sedang 45%, kategori sukar 23%; daya beda: kategori baik sekali 3%, kategori baik 53%, kategori cukup 20%, kategori lemah 18%, dan kategori tidak ada daya beda 8%; kualitas pengecoh: kategori efektif 35% dan kategori tidak efektif 65%.Kata Kunci : Instrumen penilaian, Autentik, Sistem ekskresi

Abstract

Teacher competence plays an important role in improving students learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the relationship between (1) students perceptions about the science teacher competence and students motivation of Junior High School in the Tual City, (2) students perceptions about the science teacher competence and students learning outcome of Junior High School in Tual City, (3) Students learning motivation and learning outcomes of Junior High School in Tual City. Study data were obtained from 124 students and three teachers from three schools. The results showed that (1) There is a significant relationship between students perceptions about the science teacher competence and students motivation of Junior High School in the Tual City, (5) There is no significant relationship between students perceptions about the science teacher competence and students learning outcome of Junior High School in Tual City, (6) There is no significant relationship between students learning motivation and learning outcomes of Junior High School in Tual City. Students perception on science teacher competence and learning motivation are not the only factors that affect learning outcomes, but there are several factors that influence the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Abstract.  This study is a quasy experimental with pretest posttest control group design that aimed to determine the influence of guided inquiry learning on students’ motivation and learning outcome. The population of this research was all of X grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja in academic year 2017/2018. Sampling technic used random sampling that choosed X MIA 3 grade as experiment group and X MIA 5 grade as control group. Technic of data collecting were test and non-test method which were analysed by using anacova. The results of this study showed that students’ motivation and learning outcome who taught by implementing guided inquiry learning in high category and there is  significantly difference between students’ motivation and learning outcome who taught by implementing guided inquiry learning and direct instruction. Keywords: guided inquiry, learning motivation, learning outcome.

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of the study is to find out science process skills students on discovery learning in class XI of Senior High School 9 of Maros. This study was descriptive research. The groups chosen as the study sample are XI MIPA 1 with number of students 35 people.  The research data is observation of the student’s science process skills. data analysis technique with descriptive statistics. Descriptive statistics are used to describe students' science process skills. The results showed that the average increase in students' science process skills at the first meeting was 66.50%, increasing to 75.07% at the second meeting, and increasing to 81.11% at the third meeting. and is in the category of sufficient to good category. The conclusion of this research is the science process skills of grade XI MIPA  1 of SMAN 9 Maros can be improving through based discovery learning. Keywords: discovery learning, science process skills

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is part of digital literacy that its function is undeniable when people are today obsessed more to social media and gadgets. IoT is greatly potential to support education field, especially in facilitating teachers. However, with all functions it has, IoT is not well mastered by many teachers in the city of Makassar. The issue is mainly because teachers are not well literate to IT. Therefore, it is significant to provide teachers with some trainings or workshops. Thus, this community service is projected to improve teachers’ competence in the use of IoT so that they will be life-long learners in the future. The ability to be life-long learner is one of the indicators to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This community service has resulted in several outputs, they are: 1) teachers are equipped with the ability to use IoT and e-learning software, 2) the scoring results reveal that this community service has the average score of 4,67 (good criteria).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitaian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan efektifitas pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Palakka. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimental (pre-eksperimental design) dengan menggunakan desain one group pretest posttest, artinya penilaian yang dilakukan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa dengan cara memberikan pretest untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep peserta didik sebelum perlakuan, dan posttest untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep setelah perlakuan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIIA SMPN 3 Palakka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, ini dapat dilihat setelah pembelajaran biologi dengan memanfaatkan laboratorium IPA, motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 96,91, (ii) pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, ini dapat dilihat setelah pembelajaran Biologi, hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 82,70. Kata Kunci:  Laboratorium, Motivasi belajar, Hasil belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra eksperimen, untuk melihat seberapa besar hasil belajar siswa dalam pokok bahasan pengelolaan lingkungan setelah diajar dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan Kontekstual. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sibulue. Sedangkan sampel penelitian dipilih salah satu kelas secara acak dengan jumlah sampel 22 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif melalui uji N-gain. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Aktivitas siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sibulue yang diajar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan kontekstual berada pada kategori sangat aktif. (2) Hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP negeri 1 Sibulue yang diajar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan kontekstual berada pada kategori tinggi. (3) Ada pengaruh penerapan model Pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan kontekstual melalui hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP negeri 1 Sibulue dengan nilai g = 0,6 dengan kategori “sedang”.Kata kunci: Berbasis masalah, Pendekatan Kontekstual, Aktivitas, Hasil belajar
