Abstract

This study intends to investigate the impact of social capital, social institutions, and local potential on the success of KUBE start-ups, as regulated by an entrepreneurial mindset. This study's population consists of VCO business players who belong to joint business organizations. The sample consisted of 200 respondents chosen using the approach of purposive sampling. The data utilized are both original data collected from respondents via questionnaires and secondary data. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS application to handle data. According to the findings of this study, Social Capital and Social Institutions have little effect on the success of KUBE Start Up. Meanwhile, Local Potential and Entrepreneurial Spirit have a substantial beneficial impact on KUBE Start Up's success. Entrepreneur Spirit does not mitigate the influence of Social Capital, Social Institutions, and Local Potential on KUBE Startup's success.

Abstract

Human relations management is an important aspect of an organization's success, especially in creating a harmonious, productive, and ethical work environment. This study aims to explore the integration of philosophical values in human relations management through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used in this study to analyze and synthesize various previous studies related to human relations management. The SLR process involves identifying, screening, and evaluating studies from a variety of sources, including international indexed journals, to gain an in-depth understanding of key trends and issues in the implementation of humanitarian relations management. Of the 150 articles found, 52 articles met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. By analyzing the literature from various academic databases, this study identifies key concepts in philosophy, such as humanism, deontological ethics, utilitarianism, and existentialism, that are relevant to support the management of interpersonal relationships in organizations. The results of the study show that the application of philosophical values can improve the quality of relationships between individuals through more ethical decision-making, value-oriented leadership, and strengthening mutual respect in work interactions. In addition, this study reveals a significant gap in the literature related to the practical implementation of philosophy in the context of modern management, especially in certain sectors. These findings make a theoretical contribution in expanding the understanding of the role of philosophy in human relations management as well as offering recommendations for further research and practical applications in organizational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation and benefits, work environment, and employee demographics on employee performance mediated by motivation in quantitative manufacturing companies using a survey method. The research population was all employees, with a sample of 104 employees selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study's results indicate that compensation and benefits have a positive and significant impact on employee performance and motivation. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on motivation, but it does not have a direct effect on employee performance. Employee demographics have no significant effect on employee motivation or performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and has been shown to mediate the relationship between compensation and benefits, as well as the work environment, on employee performance. This research provides practical implications for company management in improving employee performance through improved compensation systems, conducive work environments, and increased work motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine work experience, work environment, and work culture on employee performance, both directly and through work motivation as a mediating variable. This research is based on two main grand theories, namely Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Self-Determination Theory. Quantitative approach with survey method, The research population is all employees of the production division of PT Ekamas Fortuna Malang which totals 332 people. Sampling was carried out using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 179 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling method based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that all ten hypotheses proposed in this study were proven to be statistically supported. Work experience, work environment, and work culture were each proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, indicating that these three factors are relevant motivational antecedents in the context of the manufacturing industry and motivation has also been shown to mediate the relationship between these three variables. An important finding of this study is the confirmation of the dual role of work motivation, namely as a variable that directly drives employee performance as well as as a mediator that strengthens and channels the indirect influence of work experience, work environment, and work culture on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, organizational culture, and employee engagement on employee performance with Lean Manufacturing as a mediating variable. The research population amounted to 255 employees consisting of various levels of positions, with a sample of 154 respondents selected using proportional sampling techniques in 4 sections/divisions. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the study show that the work environment, organizational culture and employee involvement have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of Lean Manufacturing. Lean Manufacturing, work environment, and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, employee involvement does not have a significant effect directly on employee performance. Meanwhile, the indirect influence of the work environment, organizational culture, and employee involvement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through the mediation of Lean Manufacturing implementation. An important finding of this study is that Lean Manufacturing acts as a full mediator between employee engagement and employee performance. This research provides a theoretical contribution in integrating Socio-Technical Systems Theory (STS) and Social Exchange Theory (SET) in the context of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia, as well as providing practical implications for companies to integrate human factor management with Lean systems synergistically to improve organizational performance in a sustainable manner.
