Abstract

The rapid digitalization of the marketplace has created both opportunities and challenges for cultural heritage products, particularly ethnic accessories. While digital platforms expand market access, they also increase the risk of cultural commodification, where traditional meanings are reduced to aesthetic values. This study aims to examine the influence of self-transcendence on purchase decisions for ethnic accessories and to investigate the mediating role of Perceived Customer Design Thinking (PCDT) within the framework of Consumer Culture Theory (CCT). A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through an online survey involving 407 consumers of the Subeng Klasik brand in Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results demonstrate that self-transcendence has a positive and significant effect on PCDT (? = 0.430, p < 0.001) and purchase decisions (? = 0.313, p < 0.001). Furthermore, PCDT significantly influences purchase decisions (? = 0.343, p < 0.001). The mediation analysis reveals that PCDT partially mediates the relationship between self-transcendence and purchase decisions (? = 0.147, p < 0.001). These findings indicate that consumers who possess stronger values of universalism and benevolence are more likely to appreciate authentic cultural design processes and subsequently make purchasing decisions toward ethnic accessories. The study contributes to the extension of Consumer Culture Theory by introducing PCDT as a cognitive-emotional mechanism that bridges abstract cultural values and tangible economic behavior. Practically, the findings suggest that cultural heritage brands should emphasize authentic storytelling and empathetic design strategies to enhance consumer engagement and sustainable purchasing behavior in the digital era.

Abstract

Patient safety is the primary goal in providing healthcare services. This can be realized by upholding a culture of patient safety, which refers to the values, beliefs, and behaviors held by hospital staff that prioritize patient safety. This study aims to determine the influence of healthcare practitioners' attitudes, the role of teamwork, and the physical environment on patient safety culture in Jakarta hospitals, as well as to formulate recommendations to improve patient safety culture in these hospitals. The study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional research design. Data for this study were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies. The population in this study consists of all healthcare practitioners in Jakarta hospitals, with sampling conducted using convenient sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study include validity testing, reliability testing, and regression analysis using SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that healthcare practitioners' attitudes, the role of teamwork, and the physical environment have a positive and significant impact on patient safety culture in Jakarta hospitals.

Abstract

The quality of education is strongly influenced by the quality of teachers as educators. One of the desired qualities is performance, which shows the ability of teachers to achieve optimal results in the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of supervision on organizational commitment, work culture on organizational commitment, supervision on teacher performance, work culture on teacher performance, and organizational commitment on teacher performance at XYZ Bintaro High School. This study uses a quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM method to analyze the effect of the path coefficient on the variables studied. The research respondents consisted of 41 teachers at XYZ Bintaro High School who filled out a survey via Google Forms with a census approach. The data collected were then analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model through the PLS 4.0 application. The results of this study indicate that supervision has a positive effect on organizational commitment, work culture has a positive effect on organizational commitment, supervision has a positive effect on teacher performance, work culture has an effect on teacher performance, and organizational commitment has a negative effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Background :Optimal work environment can induce productivity, affects comforts, happiness, motivation, and healthcare work performance. Work stress that is overly too high or too low could lead to decrease in work performance. Work discipline could change character, and increase awareness and availability to obey the rules of the company and its norm. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between work environment, work stress, work discipline with performance of healthcare workers in hospitals around Pati. Method :This research utilizes a quantitative analysis approach with a Cross-Sectional design employing purposive sampling technique. Statistical analysis was conducted using multiple regression. Result: The result shows that there’s significant relationship between the work environment and performance of healthcare workers (p value= ,000 < 0,05), there’s significant relationship between work discipline and performance of healthcare workers (p value= 0,000 < 0,05), and there’s no significant relationship between work stress and performance of healthcare workers (p value= ,483 > 0,05). Conclusion : The conclusion of this research highlights the importance of the role of the work environment in shaping employee performance at Pati Hospital. Creating a positive work environment, supporting and addressing factors such as work stress, and fostering work discipline can contribute positively to improving overall employee performance and organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Promotion and Price Fairness on Customer Loyalty, both directly and indirectly, through Customer Satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research focuses on GoJek users in Jabodetabek area to understand how promotional activities and pricing policies shape customer loyalty in the ride-hailing industry. The study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, collecting data from 220 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that Promotion and Price Fairness have a significant positive effect on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty. Furthermore, Customer Satisfaction serves as a key mediating variable that amplifies the impact of Promotion and Price Fairness on Customer Loyalty. The findings highlight the importance of effective promotional strategies and fair pricing policies in fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty in competitive digital service ecosystems like ride-hailing. The study concludes that enhancing Customer Satisfaction through these variables is critical for GoJek to strengthen customer retention and sustain a competitive advantage in the market.

Abstract

The hospitality industry has shown significant recovery in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, accompanied by increasingly intense competition, particularly in cultural tourism destinations such as Yogyakarta. Hotel Lafayette Yogyakarta, a four-star hotel with a strong digital reputation, continues to face challenges in achieving its customer satisfaction targets. This study aims to analyze the influence of People, Process, and Physical Evidence on Word of Mouth (WoM), with Customer Satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, primary data were collected from 333 respondents who had stayed at Hotel Lafayette Yogyakarta within the last three months. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.1.2 software. The results show that all three elements People, Process, and Physical Evidence have a positive influence on both Customer Satisfaction and Word of Mouth, either directly or indirectly through Customer Satisfaction. Moreover, Customer Satisfaction itsel has a significant positive impact on Word of Mouth. These findings contribute theoretically to the service marketing literature, particularly in the hospitality industry context, and offer strategic recommendations for hotel management to improve customer satisfaction to drive Word of Mouth as a strategy for achieving competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of managerial competency, change management practices, and communication skills on customer satisfaction at Blimbing Manis Listrik. This study used a quantitative, survey-based approach, involving 219 respondents as the research sample. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to simultaneously and comprehensively test the causal relationships among variables. The analysis indicates that communication skills have the greatest influence on customer satisfaction, followed by managerial competency, which also contributes positively and significantly. Meanwhile, change management practices exert a smaller but still significant influence on customer perceptions of the company's services. These findings indicate that management's ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and responsively plays a key role in building trust and increasing customer satisfaction levels. In practice, this study provides strategic implications for Blimbing Manis Listrik management to focus on developing communication and managerial competencies to improve service quality and organizational competitiveness

Abstract

Dental clinic services are vulnerable to service failures that can reduce patient trust and loyalty. This study analyzes the effect of service failure, service recovery, and customer forgiveness on revisit intention at dental clinics. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 235 respondents who had used dental clinic services. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS to test the measurement and structural models, including direct and indirect effects. The results show that service failure has a negative and significant effect on service recovery, customer forgiveness, and revisit intention. Conversely, service recovery and customer forgiveness have a positive and significant effect on revisit intention. Mediation analysis shows that service recovery and customer forgiveness significantly mediate the relationship between service failure and revisit intention. The research model has good predictive ability based on the R-square, Q-square, and model fit index values. These findings emphasize the importance of minimizing service failures and strengthening patient recovery and relationship management strategies to increase loyalty and revisit intentions at dental clinics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors influencing patient trust and reuse intention of digital healthcare services, focusing on perceived ease of use, perceived value, and perceived risk. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 300 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), complemented by Importance–Performance Map Analysis (IPMA). The test results showed that perceived ease of use had no significant effect on trust or reuse intention, indicating that system ease of use alone was not sufficient to encourage continued use. Perceived value proved to have a strong and significant effect on trust, but did not directly influence reuse intention, indicating its role as an indirect factor through trust. Conversely, perceived risk was the most dominant predictor because it had a positive and significant effect on trust and reuse intention. IPMA analysis revealed that perceived risk had the highest level of importance on reuse intention, although its performance level was still considered moderate. This finding confirms that perceived risks related to security, privacy, and system reliability are crucial factors in building trust and encouraging the reuse of digital healthcare services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, job demands, and job resources on work stress and turnover intention of hospital staff, with work stress as a mediating variable. The study was conducted on medical and non-medical staff at three hospitals in Indonesia using a quantitative approach. A sample of 200 respondents was selected through purposive sampling with the criteria of a minimum of six months of service and direct involvement in hospital operations. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that leadership, job demands, and job resources significantly influenced work stress. Leadership and job demands also positively influenced turnover intention. In addition, work stress was shown to mediate the influence of leadership, job demands, and job resources on turnover intention. This study concluded that effective leadership management, job demand management, and job resource optimization play a significant role in reducing work stress and turnover intention of hospital staff. These findings provide practical implications for hospital management in improving workforce well-being and retention.
