Abstract

The crossword puzzle is an efficient approach to increasing student participation in the learning process. This method allows for discussions in both large and small groups, enabling students to actively participate in learning activities. By implementing this active learning method, students can more easily understand the material or lessons presented by the educator. Critical thinking is an essential skill that helps in making logical decisions based on concrete evidence. This process involves formulating problems, searching for arguments, performing deduction and induction, evaluating information, and ultimately making decisions. Currently, many teaching models are introduced by each teacher in schools. The development of education in Indonesia still does not nurture student creativity because schools only measure students' cognitive levels, resulting in low creativity levels among Indonesian students. Using crossword puzzles as a learning medium is proposed as a solution to enhance students' creativity, particularly junior high school students. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the benefits of crossword puzzles as a tool to increase student creativity. This analysis is conducted by gathering various scientific literature sources related to the research variables. The results of the literature review indicate that using crossword puzzles as a learning medium can enhance the creativity of junior high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi acceptance and commitment (ACT) dalam menumbuhkan body image positif pada remaja obesitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah literature review melalui database elektronik yaitu Google Scholar, Science Direct, dan Springer. Hasil penelusuran dari beberapa database tersebut didapatkan 6 artikel yang relevan dengan kriteria penelitian. Artikel-artikel tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Intervensi berbasis ACT efektif dalam menumbuhkan body image positif pada remaja obesitas. Intervensi ACT meningkatkan satu atau lebih aspek fleksibilitas psikologis remaja yang kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas berperilaku sedemikian rupa sehingga memungkinkan mereka untuk hidup sesuai keinginan mereka.

Abstract

The consumer goods industry in Indonesia constitutes a significant component of the national economy. The sector is confronted with significant challenges posed by the forces of globalization and digital disruption, which necessitate a continuous process of adaptation and innovation on the part of companies. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of profitability, company size, social responsibility (CSR), and capital structure on firm value. This study employs descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis to assess the interrelationships between the independent and dependent variables. The results demonstrate that profitability exerts a positive influence on firm value, while company size and social responsibility exert negative influences on firm value. Capital structure, on the other hand, exerts a positive influence on firm value. Collectively, these variables account for 93.8% of the variation in firm value, indicating a significant interdependence among them. The study concludes with practical implications for stakeholders in the consumer goods sector, suggesting that increasing profitability and reviewing capital structure can improve firm valuation

Abstract

Pengguna internet semakin berkembang pesat karena kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Hampir semua masyarakat di dunia menggunakan internet dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Semakin berkembangnya teknologi juga berpengaruh terhadap pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling terutama di sekolah. Di era globalisasi ini, layanan konseling online atau cyber counseling sangat dibutuhkan para konselor atau guru bimbingan konseling karena dapat memberikan layanan tanpa terbatas jarak dan waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai penerapan cyber counseling di sekolah. Diketahui ada beberapa cara yang digunakan untuk melakukan konseling online, diantaranya yaitu: melalui email, facebook, chat asynchronous, aplikasi riliv, video conference, handphone, dan website. Para guru bimbingan konseling dan konselor diharapkan untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

Recently natural disasters often hit Indonesia. Natural disasters are natural events that cause material, physical, and psychological losses and have various impacts on the survivors. Therefore, resilience is one of the important attributes for adolescents to manage conflicts and come up with appropriate responses in dealing with difficult situations. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the effectiveness of group counseling to increase the resilience of adolescent survivors of natural disasters. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR). The literature review procedure uses the PRISMA model. Based on the selection results with the PRISMA model, 127 articles were obtained then after passing the selection according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 16 articles were obtained that were feasible and followed the criteria and with the research objectives to be analyzed. Based on the results of the analysis and literature review, it is known that over the past decade, group counseling has proven effective in increasing the resilience of adolescent survivors of natural disasters. For future research, it is recommended to conduct experimental research and use group counseling to improve the resilience of adolescent survivors of natural disasters, besides counselors must also pay attention to several aspects, such as group cohesiveness, the quality of relationships built between group members, and cultural biases that may occur during the group counseling process.   ____________________________________________________________Dewasa ini bencana alam kerap melanda Indonesia. Bencana alam merupakan peristiwa alam yang menyebabkan kerugian secara materi, fisik maupun psikis serta menimbulkan berbagai dampak bagi para penyintasnya. Oleh sebab itu resiliensi menjadi salah satu atribut penting untuk dimiliki remaja untuk mengelolah konflik dan memunculkan respon yang tepat dalam menghadapi situasi sulit. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini mengetahui dan mengambarkan efektivitas konseling kelompok untuk meningkatkan resiliensi remaja penyintas bencana alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan systematic literature review (SLR). Prosedur kajian literatur menggunakan model PRISMA. Berdasarkan hasil seleksi dengan model PRISMA diperoleh 127 artikel yang kemudian setelah melewati seleksi sesuai pedoman PRISMA 2020, diperoleh 16 artikel yang layak dan sesuai kriteria maupun dengan tujuan penelitian untuk dianaliasis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan kajian literature diketahui bahwa selama satu dekade terakhir, konseling kelompok telah terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan resiliensi remaja penyintas bencana alam. Kepada penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian eksperimen dan menggunakan konseling kelompok untuk meningkatkan resiliensi remaja penyintas bencana alam, selain itu konselor juga harus memperhatikan beberapa aspek, seperti kohesivitas kelompok, kualitas hubungan yang terbangun antar anggota kelompok dan bias-bias budaya yang mungkin terjadi selama proses konseling kelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the moral values in the book of Bidāyah al-Hidāyah discussed through perspective of personality development theory which includes four personality developments: religious education, habituation to discipline, habituation to ethics and noble character, and habituation to independence. This type of research includes library research with secondary data sources. As for the data collection technique, the study of documentation from the study of the main sources, namely the book of Bidāyah al-Hidāyah and relevant research literature. The data obtained were then be analyzed using content analysis and found as the results of this research, namely the indicative that the Bidāyah al-Hidāyah contains three moral values. The first moral value is that students in seeking knowledge must always remember Allah. Secondly, an educator must be responsible and authoritative. And thirdly, students must have good character, morals, and humility, especially towards kyai and/or ustadz.

Abstract

Melalui pengabdian ini, kami akan mengeksplorasi potensi dan manfaat penggunaan Duolingo dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penulis telah menganalisis efektivitas aplikasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa Inggris peserta didik dan bagaimana aplikasi ini dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan pariwisata serta dapat dipraktikan secara langsung ketika sudah memasuki dunia kerja. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru dan rekomendasi praktis belajar bagi pendidik dan institusi pendidikan dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pariwisata melalui teknologi digital. Metode yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan sosialisasi yang mana diberikan stimulus untuk saling berbagi informasi dan memberikan solusi untuk kendala yang saat ini dihadapi serta memberikan ulasan (umpan balik) untuk mengetahui hasil dari pemberian sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Dengan adanya pelaksanaan pengabdian, masyarat setempat dan anak usia sekolah mendapatkan perbedaan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi dan tidak menggunakan aplikasi. Ketika belum mengenal aplikasi duolingo, siswa merasakan kendala dalam kecakapan bahasa inggris terutama kosa kata dalam istilah pariwisata dan dengan beriringnya waktu aplikasi sudah diperkenalkan maka berasa lebih efisien, tidak terlalu menghabiskan banyak waktu, biaya yang dikeluarkan juga cukup murah selain itu dengan aplikasi duolingo bisa diakses dimanapun berada tidak harus di dalam ruang kelas atau berada di lingkup pendidikan formal maupun informal, di rumah juga bisa menggunakan aplikasi duolingo.

Abstract

Islamic education basically contains a lot of moral values in the scope of its study, because Islam has come to bring some moral guidelines which are reflected in the words and actions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This study aims to examine moral education through the study of the book al-Akhlāq li al-Banīn by Sheikh Umar Baraja. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of library research. Researcher analyzed written literature as the main source in the form of classic books, books, research journals, and other publication media. Based on this literature review, it shows that moral education through learning the book of al-Akhlāq li al-Banīn adds character education innovation in the midst of today's moral decadence. Learning the book of al-Akhlāq li al-Banīn must be accompanied by other methods of moral internalization to achieve maximum results.

Abstract

Most Muslims find it hard to memorize the Qur’an due to certain factors. This research explored the effect of spiritual intelligence and religious faith on self-regulation. Having   quantitative design, three instruments were used in this analysis; self-regulation scale (S-SR) (α=0.621), religious faith scale (S-RF) (α=0.986), and spiritual intelligence scale (S-SI) (α=0.890).  Four hundred (400) students in the tahfiz Al-Qur’an program from some Islamic boarding schools in Surabaya were selected through purposive sampling. The results from multiple regression showed that spiritual intelligence and religious faith significantly predicted self-regulation. In other words, both spiritual intelligence and religious faith had a positive effect on self-regulation. Besides, spiritual intelligence also positively affected self-regulation. The more positive students assessed their spiritual intelligence, the higher their self-regulation. That self-regulation then made students get more engaged with their activity of memorizing the Quran.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the concept of social interaction in education based on the thoughts of Sheikh Az Zarnuji in the book of Ta'lim Muta'allim.The main focus is on describing the ideal form of interaction between teachers and students, as well as between students.The method used was a literature study,which involved selecting relevant sources, in-depth reading,critical analysis of the content and identification of appropriate solutions.The collected data was then grouped thematically to facilitate the writing process. Humans are social creatures by nature, and regular interactions help socialize individuals to meet needs, overcome life's challenges and build reciprocal relationships. Positive interactions between teachers and students enhance educational goals, allowing learners to feel valued, motivated and engaged in the educational process. Islam emphasizes the importance of positive social interaction and behavior, suggesting that friendship and social engagement are essential for personal social and moral growth.Through social interaction, individuals learn to distinguish right from wrong and develop social and moral values. Education serves as the basis for instilling social values, influencing social behavior and the future of individuals.The Ta'lim Muta'allim emphasizes the importance of adab (etiquette) in education and daily life, highlighting respectful interactions between students and teachers. It remains relevant as it provides guidance on ethical behavior, respectful communication, and positive social interaction, ultimately aiming to create a whole individual with integrity and responsibility.With a focus on manners, collaborative learning, and effective communication, social interactions can foster a harmonious educational environment and aid in the development of student character and leadership.
