Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is one of the horticultural commodities that has good prospects and commercial value. According to BPS data, Banjarnegara Regency has experienced an increase from 2021 to 2023. One way to increase lettuce production is by utilizing tilapia fish ponds using an aquaponics system. This technique also cultivates and harvests two commodities simultaneously, namely lettuce and tilapia fish. This research aims to determine the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) and to identify the suitable varieties for the aquaponic system. The research was conducted from December to January in the pesantren village. The method used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) non- factorial with one treatment, using five varieties of lettuce: Romaine, Siomak, Grand Rapid, Olga Red, and Captiva. The observational data were analyzed using SPSS software. If significant differences are found, further analysis using the DMRT 5% test will be conducted to determine the best treatment. The results of the study indicate that the best variety from the data is V3 (grand Rapid) with a high wet weight value of (99.06 grams), the highest dry leaf weight (2.58 grams), and the widest leaf area (51.01 cm2). V2 (Siomak) with a yield of 20.90 is significantly different and the highest from other treatments, indicating the greatest effect on plant height.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of Thoriqoh Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah practices at the pesantren and their impact on the spiritual intelligence of its followers. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted thematically to examine the implementation of thoriqoh practices, their effects on spiritual intelligence, and the challenges encountered. The findings reveal that Darul Falah Amtsilati Islamic Boarding School, under the guidance of KH. Taufiqul Hakim, not only imparts religious knowledge but also deepens spirituality through Thoriqoh Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah. The thoriqoh practices include bai’at (initiation), dhikr, suluk (spiritual retreat), and tawajjuhan (spiritual focus) to purify the heart and draw closer to Allah, with silent dhikr (dhikr khafi) serving as the primary method for enhancing spiritual awareness. Through this thoriqoh, followers experience an increase in spiritual intelligence, such as developing a clearer life vision, feeling the presence of Allah, and engaging in consistent dhikr. Many followers previously felt their lives lacked direction, but after practicing these rituals, they became more disciplined in worship, patient, empathetic, and found joy in serving others. Participation in the thoriqoh is not limited to students; it also extends to the wider community, who can maintain their spiritual practices consistently through access to thoriqoh programs, digital technology, and guidance from teachers and religious study groups.

Abstract

This article provides a description of the implementation of problem-based learning of fiqih with musyawarah activities at Pondok Pesantren Al-Anwar Sarang Rembang Central Java. The problem of this article focuses on two problems, how the implementation of problem-based learning of fiqih by musyawarah at Pondok Pesantren Al-Anwar and the advantages and disadvantages of problem based-learning of fiqh with musyawarah activities. This paper is the result of qualitative research using case study method. Data collection used participant observation, interview, and documentation techniques. To determine the sample of data source as informant, this research uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis with phenomenology approach. The Analysis begins since the researcher goes to the place and it is done interactively and continuously until being completed. It can be concluded that the activities of musyawarah is a form of problem-based learning of fiqih in the style of pesantren. In terms of principles, characteristics, as well as learning stages in musyawarah activities have been in accordance with the concept of problem-based learning.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an adalah mu’jizat yang istimewa. Kitab yang diwahyukan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW, yang berguna sebagai petunjuk hidup bagi semua manusia untuk menuju jalan yang benar. Al-Fatihah adalah surat yang pertama turun, dan merupakan esensi ataupun induk dari Al-Qur’an itu sendiri. Bahkan siapapun orang Islam yang melaksanakan sholat pasti membaca surat Al-Fatihah. Al-Fatihah berisi tentang beberapa petunjuk: bahwa seorang muslim dalam memulai pekerjaannya haruslah dengan nama Allah SWT, Yang Maha Pemurah dan Maha Penyayang; Yang menguasai di Hari Pembalasan; Kepada-Nya umat Islam beribadah dan meminta pertolongan; dan hanya kepada-Nya umat Islam memohon petunjuk untuk diberikan jalan yang lurus; yaitu jalan orang-orang yang telah diberikan nikmat dan jalan orang-orang yang diridhai oleh Allah swt.

Abstract

Pendakwah dituntut mampu memahami dan mempelajari strategi dakwah yang dapat diterima oleh masyarakat luas. Bahkan pendakwah harus terus berdakwah terhadap orang yang sangat ingkar terhadap Allah dan Rasul-Nya, meskipun dakwahnya mendapatkan penolakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis, dengan penelitian pustaka (library research). Penelitian ini menggambarkan strategi dakwah Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq radhiyallahu ‘anhu dalam menumpas kaum murtad.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the chain whisper method in Arabic language learning at MA Hasyim Asy'ari Jogoroto Jombang, examine its contribution to improving listening skills (maharah istima'), and identify factors that support and hinder its implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and data validity testing using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the chain whisper method-which is done by delivering Arabic sentences in chains from one student to another-can foster enthusiasm for learning, increase accuracy in distinguishing Arabic phoneme sounds, and help students recognize letter makhraj more precisely. This is reflected in the improvement of student learning outcomes. Supporting factors for the implementation of this method include the active involvement of students and the spirit of cooperation in groups, while the main obstacle is the difference in students' educational backgrounds, especially for those who come from public schools who are not familiar with Arabic. This method shows potential as an alternative learning strategy to develop listening skills in a madrasah environment.

still struggle with reading Arabic texts and understanding their meanings accurately. Their enthusiasm for learning Arabic reading is low, largely due to traditional, non-interactive teaching methods that lead to passive learning. In response, the researcher conducted a qualitative case study titled "Applying the Make and Match Game Method to Improve Reading Skills among First-Year Students at Darul Falah 5 Islamic Boarding School in Jombang." Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study found that the Make and Match method was effectively implemented by grouping students and using question-answer cards in matching activities. This fostered an interactive and enjoyable classroom environment. Despite challenges such as time constraints and varying participation levels, the method enhanced students' reading skills, especially in understanding Arabic texts and vocabulary. It also promoted student cooperation and aligned with cooperative learning theories. Overall, the Make and Match game significantly contributed to improving reading comprehension and language engagement among the students.

Abstract

This article aims to reconstruct the concept of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) based on spiritual ethics through a critical study of al-Ghazali’s educational thought. The background of this research lies in the concern over the moral crisis and the loss of spiritual orientation in modern education, which tends to emphasize cognitive aspects alone. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using library research methods by examining al-Ghazali’s primary works such as Iḥyāʾ ʿUlūm al-Dīn, al-Munqidz min al-Ḍalāl, and Miʿyār al-ʿIlm. Data were analyzed critically using content analysis and philosophical interpretation to explore educational values from a Sufi perspective. The hypothesis proposed is that Islamic education becomes more meaningful and effective when rooted in spiritual ethics. The findings indicate that al-Ghazali’s concept of spiritual ethics is not only normative but also practical, providing an integrative foundation that connects intellectual, moral, and transcendental dimensions. This reconstruction offers a more holistic, transformative, and contextually relevant paradigm for Islamic education today.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi tadarus Al-Qur’an dalam membentuk karakter disiplin peserta didik di MI Miftahul Huda Bulungan, Jepara. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya pembentukan karakter melalui pembiasaan religius yang kontekstual dan terintegrasi dalam kehidupan sekolah dasar Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala madrasah, guru, dan siswa kelas IV hingga VI yang aktif dalam kegiatan tadarus. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan tadarus yang dilakukan secara konsisten setiap pagi memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pembentukan disiplin siswa, baik dalam aspek waktu, tanggung jawab, maupun keteraturan perilaku. Guru berperan sebagai teladan dan pembina, sedangkan siswa mengalami internalisasi nilai secara alami melalui praktik yang berulang dan bernilai spiritual. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tadarus bukan sekadar aktivitas keagamaan, tetapi juga merupakan media pendidikan karakter yang efektif, sistematis, dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi representasi nilai kasih sayang anak dalam lirik lagu "Masih Ada Waktunya" karya Nadhif Basalamah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui identifikasi makna denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos yang terkandung dalam lirik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara denotatif, lirik lagu menyoroti perhatian, pengajaran nilai-nilai, dan harapan anak terhadap orang tua, terutama ibu, serta tindakan afektif konkret. Pada tingkat konotatif, lirik membangkitkan rasa aman, apresiasi mendalam, keinginan untuk membalas budi, dan kematangan emosional anak. Mitos yang terbentuk dalam lirik menggambarkan hubungan ideal antara anak dan orang tua, di mana kasih sayang tidak hanya bersifat reseptif tetapi juga proaktif, dengan ibu sebagai pusat kebahagiaan dan sumber kekuatan. Studi ini memperluas pemahaman semiotik tentang musik populer dan menegaskan pentingnya memahami nilai kasih sayang anak dalam konteks sosial-budaya Indonesia, serta kontribusi lagu ini pada wacana bakti anak kepada orang tua.
