Abstract

Kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu komponen pendidikan yang berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. keberhasilan pendidikan sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh keberhasilan kepala sekolah dalam mengelola tenaga kependidikan yang tersedia di sekolah. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMPN 2 Banjarnegara. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hal ini terbukti dari kurikulum, kesiswaan, sarana prasarana dan prestasi belajar siswa yang berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai standar kinerja guru. Tanggapan atau respon guru terhadap pendekatan kepemimpinan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah cukup baik. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja. Top of Form

Abstract

This comprehensive literature review investigates the critical importance of integrating mathematical literacy into the primary education curriculum. Mathematical literacy, a holistic concept that involves the complete understanding, practical application, and thoughtful analysis of mathematical information across diverse contexts, is a transformative force in molding the foundational skills of young learners. This review extensively explores the myriad benefits arising from the intentional inclusion of mathematical literacy, emphasizing its pivotal role in fostering logical thinking, aligning with the demands of 21st-century skills, and augmenting global competitiveness among learners. Despite acknowledged challenges in implementation, the long-term advantages for individual students and society are resoundingly underscored, positioning mathematical literacy not only as a pedagogical necessity but as a strategic investment in the future of education and national progress. Furthermore, this literature review goes beyond surveying existing research and academic journals; it represents a nuanced synthesis of diverse perspectives and findings. Drawing insights from pertinent publications delves into the practical implications and real-world applications of integrating mathematical literacy. The review is valuable for educators, policymakers, and curriculum developers, offering actionable insights to inform decision-making processes. Abstract

Mathematics is a basic science that is very necessary as a foundation for modern technology and knowledge. Apart from that, Mathematics gives a person high skills in terms of abstraction, problem analysis and logical reasoning. In this way, mathematics functions to help study the natural environment so that it can be developed into technology for the welfare of humanity. This research aims to find out the role of mathematics in science and technology. By using the library study method where data is collected and obtained from various sources. The data source uses secondary data obtained from published scientific journal articles. The conclusion of this research is that mathematics has several important roles in science and technological development, namely mathematics as the language of science, mathematics as logic and deductive in science, mathematics as the basis of programming languages, mathematics can express the position of a point, line, plane or object. which is used to create animated videos, and mathematics as a basis for hardware and software development.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor ekonomi yang berkembang pesat di berbagai negara, namun pertumbuhannya seringkali diiringi dengan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak pariwisata terhadap kesehatan lingkungan dan upaya pengelolaan risiko yang telah dilakukan. Metode studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi dari berbagai sumber, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, laporan penelitian, dan dokumen terkait lainnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pariwisata memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap lingkungan, seperti degradasi habitat alami, peningkatan polusi, dan kerusakan ekosistem. Untuk mengelola risiko tersebut, berbagai upaya telah dilakukan, termasuk pembentukan kebijakan lingkungan, program pendidikan dan kesadaran, serta penerapan teknologi hijau. Namun, tantangan dalam implementasi kebijakan dan kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat menjadi hambatan dalam mencapai pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antar berbagai pemangku kepentingan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas upaya pengelolaan risiko dan mempromosikan pariwisata yang ramah lingkungan di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the family environment on the formation of student character. In an increasingly complex global era, education is one of the important aspects that influences the formation of students' character. The family environment, which includes the values, norms and behavior adopted by family members, has an important role in forming students' character. This research uses qualitative research methods to understand the phenomenon from the perspective of the subject, namely students and their family environment. The research results show that the family environment has a significant role in shaping student character. Students who grow up in an environment that adheres to positive values ​​tend to have positive and useful characters. This research confirms the importance of the family environment in forming student character and shows that educational strategies that pay attention to the family environment and the values ​​held by the family can help improve learning outcomes and student character.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of technology integration in learning on the academic achievement of students in higher education. Through a literature review, we investigate the relationship between the use of technology such as e-learning platforms, augmented reality, and virtual reality with student engagement and academic achievement. Findings from this research highlight the importance of adequate technological infrastructure, teacher training, relevant curriculum design, institutional support, and technology accessibility to enhance the effectiveness of technology use in learning. The implications of this study provide insights for education practitioners and policymakers to maximize the benefits of technology in improving student academic achievement in higher education.

Abstract

The Flipped Classroom model has become an intriguing topic in the context of mathematics education at the tertiary level. This literature review article aims to analyze the success of implementing the Flipped Classroom model in mathematics education at the tertiary level by exploring influencing factors. In-depth literature review was conducted to identify patterns and trends in evaluating the success of this model, including challenges faced and recommendations for further development. The results indicate that technological readiness, teacher involvement, student engagement, institutional support, and continuous evaluation are key factors in the success of implementing the Flipped Classroom model. This article provides valuable insights for educators and researchers in designing and implementing effective teaching models in tertiary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the successful implementation of project-based learning model in mathematics learning at university level. Literature studies and field observations were conducted to evaluate the implementation of project-based learning models in several higher education institutions. The results showed that the implementation of project-based learning model in mathematics learning in higher education has positive impacts, among others: 1) increasing students‘ active involvement and motivation in the learning process, 2) developing mathematical competence, critical thinking skills, and other 21st century skills, 3) encouraging meaningful and contextualised learning, and 4) improving students’ collaboration and communication skills. However, there are some challenges in its implementation, such as: lecturer readiness, resource availability, and curriculum adjustment. The implication of the results of this study is the need for innovative mathematics curriculum development, increased lecturer competence, and adequate institutional support to optimise the implementation of project-based learning in higher education. This study provides valuable insights for mathematics education practitioners in designing and implementing student-centred learning oriented towards the development of 21st century competencies.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PjBL) is one of the student-centred learning models that can be effectively applied in mathematics learning in higher education. This study aims to analyse the implementation of PjBL in mathematics learning in higher education. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and reviewing research articles related to the implementation of PJBL in mathematics learning in higher education. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL in mathematics learning in higher education can improve students' concept understanding, problem solving ability, creativity, and learning motivation. PjBL encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process through project activities that are relevant to real life. Lecturers act as facilitators who guide students in planning, implementing and evaluating projects. Challenges in implementing PjBL include the availability of learning resources, time allocation, and project assessment. The implication of this study is the need for training for lecturers in designing and implementing PjBL effectively to achieve mathematics learning objectives in higher education.
