Abstract

This study investigates the legal considerations in a corruption case surrounding land transactions in Desa Parparean, Kecamatan Porsea, Kabupaten Toba. The defendants, Daulat Napitupulu and Lumongga Marsaulina Aruan, held land leased to PT. Dok Bahari Nusantara for ship construction. The Ministry of Transportation later selected this land for a shipyard project to enhance tourism in the Lake Toba region. Allegations of corruption emerged during the land certification and compensation processes, prompting legal proceedings. This research applies a normative juridical approach, analyzing judicial decision-making in Case No. 5/Pid.Sus-TPK/2023/PN Mdn, focusing on whether the defendants misused their authority in certifying and compensating for the land. The findings reveal complex historical and cultural dynamics, particularly around the ancestral and communal (ulayat) land rights of indigenous communities in Lake Toba. The court’s evaluation extended to regulatory inconsistencies, highlighting the need to balance environmental protection with national development interests. Although no procedural or legal violations were found in this case, the decision underscores the importance of clear legal processes in protected areas. It also validates the defendants' land ownership certificate and the compensation determined through lawful and independent appraisal. This case emphasizes the critical role of transparent judicial procedures and the protection of indigenous land rights within national strategic projects.

Abstract

Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) merupakan proses menanamkan pemahaman ideologi bangsa dengan pengenalan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam bentuk aktivitas nyata berupa kegiatan projek. Permasalahan yang dihadapi guru di Kecamatan Wih Pesam diantaranya adalah pemahaman guru tentang P5 masih tergolong rendah, motivasi guru yang masih sangat kurang dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran yang menarik, dan keterbatasan pengetahuan guru-guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran P5 terintegrasi budaya Lokal Gayo baik dari segi Bahasa Gayo, Makanan khas Gayo, dan pakaian adat Gayo. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk menambah pengetauan dan wawasan pada guru dalam penerapan P5 disekolah. Pengabdian ini mengeksplorasi pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan penguasaan guru dalam bentuk sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil yang telah dicapai adalah berhasil melakukan pendampingan pada guru di Kecamatan Wih Pesam dalam penerapan P5 berbasis kearifan lokal Gayo. Guru mampu menerapkan P5 terhadap pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal Gayo dikelas bersama murid sehingga memotivasi murid untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan antusias dan percaya diri. Pelatihan penguatan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini melalui penerapan P5 berbasis kearifan lokal Gayo mendapatkan tumbuhnya motivasi belajar pada guru dan murid dikelas sehingga diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan di kemudian hari.

Abstract

Pemakaian partikel dalam bahasa Gayo dihasilkan secara unik dalam percakapan sehari-hari.  Akan tetapi, peran dan fungsi yang melekat dalam penggunaan partikel kadang-kadang tidak disadari oleh penutur. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bentuk, peran, dan fungsi partikel dalam bahasa Gayo pada masyarakat Bebesen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap. Analisis data digunakan dengan padan referensial dan metode agih dengan teknik ekspansi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk partikel meliputi di, gə, he, kə, kəta, lə, dan mi. Peran dalam penggunaan partikel memberikan makna tambahan dan penegasan dengan mengacu pada unsur-unsur bahasa Gayo seperti adjektiva, demostrativa, dan kata tanya. Kehadiran penggunaan partikel dalam konteks kalimat bahasa Gayo menandai fungsi emotif ketidaknyamanan, kekaguman, kerasahan, kejutan, keheranan, dan keinginan untuk bertindak.Kata Kunci: Partikel, Bentuk, Peran, Fungsi, Bahasa Gayo.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of  teacher mover collaboration in improving the quality of middle school teacher performance in Southeast Aceh Regency using the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controling) method. The approach used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and interrelated document studies. Data analysis techniques go through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: Teacher collaboration management is the driving force in improving the quality of performance of State Middle School teachers in Southeast Aceh Regency. The planning is going well, starting with identifying teacher needs, followed by discussions involving all teachers through effective communication and preparation of work programs, but there is still need for improvement in the preparation. vision and mission so that the desired goals are achieved. In the organizing function, it is still necessary to clarify the division of tasks between each element of the collaboration team so that they can be responsible for the success of this function.  In its implementation function, collaborative management takes place in the form of collaborative activities and improvements are needed in managing time and lack of funds and infrastructure by strengthening the concept of appreciative inquiry. Likewise, the supervisory function has been carried out well by observing, providing feedback, mentoring and coaching, and conducting evaluation meetings to follow up on the development of collaborative activities with indicators of teacher performance quality increasing from before.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan regulasi emosi pada remaja melalui pendekatan psikoedukasi, guna mendukung kesehatan mental dan hubungan sosial positif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Dewantara dengan partisipasi 21 siswa kelas XI, yang terdiri dari 5 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan berusia 16–17 tahun. Psikoedukasi memberikan pemahaman tentang konsep regulasi emosi, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya, dan pentingnya kelekatan dengan teman sebaya. Metode pengabdian meliputi asesmen kebutuhan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta penyampaian materi yang interaktif untuk mengajarkan keterampilan mengenali, mengelola, dan mengekspresikan emosi secara adaptif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa menjadi lebih paham akan arti regulasi emosi dan pentingnya hubungan positif dengan teman sebaya, yang berdampak pada ketahanan emosional dan kesiapan menghadapi tekanan sosial. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah psikoedukasi memberikan manfaat nyata bagi peningkatan ketahanan emosional dan akademik siswa. Kata Kunci: Regulasi Emosi, Kelekatan, Teman Sebaya, Psikoedukasi

Abstract

This research aims to describe the emotional intelligence of students in state elementary schools in Pegasing District. The type of research is quantitative descriptive. The research population was 106 class V students of public elementary schools in gugus 2 Pegasing District. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula with a total sample of 84 students. Research data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses percentage analysis. The research results show that students' emotional intelligence is classified as good, this result is seen from several aspects; first, self-intelligence 83.40% good category, second, self-control 83.90% good category, third, self-motivation 83.88% good category, fourth, empathy 85.1% category, good, five, social skills 84 % good category.

Abstract

Background: Early Postoperative Small Bowel Obstruction (EPSBO) is a primary factor contributing to death and morbidity after pelvic and abdominal surgery. Although it is frequently regarded as a surgical emergency, the most recent research indicates that non-operative management is always preferable unless there are complications.Case: A 53-year-old woman came with symptoms of small bowel obstruction and a history of hysterectomy three weeks earlier. The patient refused surgical intervention, so a conservative approach was taken. She was given methylprednisolone 500 mg/day in two doses daily for three consecutive days, in addition to nasogastric tube insertion and symptomatic therapy. After three days of follow-up, the patient showed symptoms improvement, and the abdominal X-Ray and CT Scan showed no abnormal findings.Discussion: The majority of Early Postoperative Small Bowel Obstruction (EPSBO) cases, according to the most recent research, may be managed without surgery. Additionally, due to their anti-inflammatory properties, some medications, like corticosteroids, have been found to be beneficial and effective for EPSBO. This is because they may help resolve the obstruction and lessen the edema and fibrin deposition associated with EPSBO following abdominal surgery.Conclusion: Conservative therapy with steroids appears promising due to its lower risk profile and greater patient comfort. However, the exact mechanism and its efficacy in treating EPSBO have yet to be fully concluded, so further research is still needed.

Abstract

The community service activity "The Role of Schools in Preventing, Eradicating Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking" was carried out on Thursday 16 November 2023, which was attended by 35 students representing class 10 and class 12 of the Vocational High School (SMK) Technology Education Foundation (YPT) Banjarmasin. The activity was carried out in several stages, namely: an opening led by an emcee from the school, remarks from the Deputy Head of SMK YPT Banjarmasin for Student Affairs, Sahri, as well as remarks from the Lecturer in Communication Perspectives and Theory at the Uniska Banjarmasin Communication Science Masters Study Program, Dr. Marhaeni Fajar Kurniawati, M.Si. Then the peak event was the socialization of the delivery of material entitled The Role of Schools in Preventing, Eradicating Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking which was delivered by the Chief Executive of Community Service, Rakhmadiansyah, then a question and answer or quiz, and the distribution of prizes for students who actively asked questions. This service activity is a form of concern for the Uniska Banjarmasin Communication Science Masters Study Program to provide understanding and education to YPT Banjarmasin Vocational School students about the dangers and impacts of drug abuse as well as the role that the school must take in creating a school free from drug abuse (Shining School).

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) To analyze the influence of managerial competence on teacher performance; 2) To analyze the influence of Academic Supervision on Teacher Performance; 3) To analyze the influence of school culture on teacher performance; 4) To analyze the influence of Managerial Competence, Academic Supervision and School Culture simultaneously on teacher performance in implementing the independent curriculum. This research method uses quantitative research methods, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 research samples from 172 research populations. The results of this research; 1) managerial competence has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 32%, 2) academic supervision has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 7%, 3) school culture has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 32%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure at SDN Perpilotan, Badar District, Southeast Aceh Regency and its impact on the quality of learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection through interviews and observation. The research results show that good management of Facilities and Infrastructure makes a positive contribution to the teaching and learning process, even though there are obstacles such as incompatibility of goods received and teachers' limited time for maintenance. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of systematic planning and evaluation in the management of facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of education
