Abstract

This study aims to describe the right OBH X marketing positioning strategy for the pharmaceutical industry. This study uses a quantitative method. The data sources used in this study are consumers who have consumed at least three brands of cough medicine, OBH X product managers and internal company data. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of a questionnaire dis- tributed to 150 respondents in 3 different regions. The data analysis technique was carried out in a multidimensional and SWOT analysis. Multidimensionality is used to see the brand’s position against competitors. Meanwhile, SWOT anal- ysis is used to identify factors that can be used as a positioning strategy. Based on the results of the research, the positioning strategy applied can be applied to increase OBH X sales in region A by reducing product side effects, adding fla- vor variants and maintaining the efficacy variant of OBH X. Region B of OBH X products cannot be evaluated because there is a gap in predetermined attributes. Meanwhile, in region C, OBH X products are still competing with other prod- ucts. The positioning strategy that can be applied in region C is by maintaining OBH X products using glass bottles, making articles and publishing about the advantages of glass bottle packaging on OBH X products Indonesia.

Abstract

Tasa.id merupakan salah satu local brand asal Bandung, Jawa Barat yang bergerak di bidang fashion sejak tahun 2020. Pada beberapa bulan dan akhir tahun 2022 Tasa.id mengalami penurunan penjualan yang menyebabkan ketidaktercapainya target penjualan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang menjadi akar permasalahan yang dialami oleh Tasa.id, salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah diferensiasi yang rendah pada Tasa.id. Berdasarkan permasalah tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tasa.id perlu Berdasarkan permasalah tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tasa.id perlu melakukan perancangan strategi positioning untuk memperkuat daya saing yang dimiliki Tasa.id sehingga mampu bersaing dengan brand fashion lainnya. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah multidimensional scaling dan analisis SWOT untuk menghasilkan rancangan perbaikan positioning yang tepat untuk dapat diterapkan Tasa.id. Atribut yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah reputasi brand, harga produk, kualitas bahan, desain produk, variasi warna produk, variasi model produk, variasi ukuran, dan kenyamanan produk. Brand fashion yang ditetapkan pada penlitian ini adalah Atala, Yeona, By Meldev, Catherine, Yeors, dan Givi Collection. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 210 responden. Berdasarkan hasil perceptual mapping terdapat 3 wilayah persaingan. Dalam memperoleh perancangan perbaikan positioning dilakukan identifikasi Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, dan Threats (SWOT) pada setiap atribut produk yang menjadi dasar rancangan perbaikan positioning Tasa.id dengan melihat aspek-aspek penting internal dan eksternal Tasa.id

Abstract

Based on the Programme for International Students Assessment (PISA), where problem-solving skills and critical thinking were measured the Indonesian students ranked below standard. In a smaller scope, there were other phenomenon in the learning process of a Design Methods class, in the Visual Communication Design programme at Binus University where students struggled to perform design analysis specifically on the part where the process of classifying which data belong to each of the three analytical aspects of the Triadic, despite definitions had been given in the prior session. In The Ethics, Aristotle thought about classifying as one of the thinking processes that would help in the process of analyzing. According to the Reboot Foundation, an institution dedicated to critical thinking research in the United States of America, critical thinking is needed in the decision-making process. The study was conducted to find the influence of the addition critical thinking method in C-F-C Triadic, one of the design thinking methods, in its learning process. The method in this investigation is qualitative primary data collection based on the observation of two different classes, class A and class B. In class A, the learning process was given following the existing learning process, while in class B, an additional short critical thinking demo was given in the first session of the class. The result was elevation in the analysis performance of the students in class B.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies implemented by the government to alleviate poverty in Medan and evaluate their effectiveness. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of secondary data from official documents, government reports, and related literature. The findings indicate that various policies, such as social assistance programs, job training, and community empowerment, have yielded positive impacts. However, challenges in implementation, such as unequal distribution and lack of community participation, remain significant obstacles. Recommendations are provided to enhance stakeholder synergy and leverage technology in the distribution of aid programs.

Abstract

As technology advances, digital payment solutions have emerged as a practical way to streamline transactions and boost MSMEs' operational effectiveness. Data from MSME actors in the area is gathered for this study using a quantitative methodology and survey method. According to the study's findings, MSME productivity is positively impacted by the use of digital payment systems like e-wallets and QRIS. Companies report faster transactions, lower operating expenses, and easier access to larger markets. In addition, digital payment methods contribute to more transparent and accurate financial records. The study's conclusions include the necessity of educating and training MSME participants on the usage of digital payment systems, as well as government and financial institution assistance to promote the technology's uptake. It is envisaged that by taking these actions, Medan Perjuangan District MSMEs will be able to utilize the digital payment system to its full potential and boost their company's sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

With an emphasis on how infrastructure affects the primary economic sectors and the well-being of local communities, this study attempts to examine how infrastructure contributes to economic growth and development in the Coal Region. In order to learn more about Batu Bara's economic growth and infrastructural development, a review of numerous papers, government reports, and related research served as the foundation for this study. Analysis of secondary data was done to find patterns and determine how infrastructure affects economic growth. This study examines Batu Bara's infrastructure development and focuses on current advancements in the energy, information technology, and transportation sectors.The analysis’s findings demonstrate how important Batu Bara’s infrastructure development is to boosting both community welfare and economic prosperity. Growing connectedness and accessibility have boosted population income, boosted investment, and expanded economic sectors. Therefore, sustained infrastructure investment in Batu Bara is thought to be essential to sustaining sustainable economic growth and guaranteeing an improvement in the population’s quality of life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality (X) on customer loyalty (Y) at the Eva Fashion Store, Petumbukan Village, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency. The population of the study was the customers in Eva Fashion Store, Petumbukan Village, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency as many as 160 customers for 1 week. The number of samples to be taken in this study if rounded is 62 samples. The data collection technique used is by using interviews (interviews), questionnaires (questionnaires) and observations (observations). given to respondents. Data using SPSS 20. The results of this study indicate that based on the simple regression test (a) of 6.008 while the simple regression coefficient (b) of 0.926 and it can be concluded that Product Quality has a positive influence on Customer Loyalty, which means that if the Product Quality increases then Customer Loyalty will increase by 0.926. Based on the t test, it is known that tcount > ttable is 11,679 > 2,000. So it can be said that product quality has a significant effect on customer loyalty at the Eva Fashion Store, Petumbukan Village, Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency. From the results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) it can be said that the product quality variable (X) has an influence on the Customer Loyalty variable (Y) of 69.5% and the remaining 30.5% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pada Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode saturation sampling, yaitu sampel jenuh berjumlah 76 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil uji hipotesis secara simultan (Uji F) variabel pelatihan dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Pada uji hipotesis parsial (Uji t) variabel pelatihan dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil uji determinasi diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,725, artinya variabel kinerja pegawai dapat dijelaskan sebesar 72,5% oleh pelatihan dan disiplin kerja, sementara sisanya 27,5% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of organizational climate in improving employee performance at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Deli Serdang Regency. The type of method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, namely the observation process, accurate data collection based on facts found in the field, as well as interviews with resource persons. The results of the study indicate that organizational climate plays an important role in improving employee performance at the Central Statistics Agency of Deli Serdang Regency, due to the support and trust from colleagues and superiors so as to improve employee performance. This means that the role of an increasingly conducive organizational climate can improve employee performance.

Abstract

Employees are the most important aspect in the organization and HR is one of the drivers so that the organization can run well. Performance is an important element in determining the progress of an organization. The purpose of this study is to determine the role in improving employee performance through strengthening competence at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The population and sample are employees of the Central Statistics Agency, Deli Serdang district. By using descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained through interviews with employees of the Central Statistics Agency of Deli Serdang Regency. The results obtained are that HR greatly determines employee performance and to produce competent employees, training, development from the organization and guidance from superiors will be needed so that the organization will advance for the better.
