Abstract

This study aims to determine the purpose of legal science for Muhammadiyah, specifically the Majelis Tarjih (Islamic Council of Muhammadiyah). This is highly urgent, because the Majelis Tarjih is an entity within Muhammadiyah that is responsible for providing solutions to the problems of the people's lives, especially Muhammadiyah members and Muslims in general. In general, the purpose of legal science is to ensure justice, legal certainty, and benefit. Legal scholars have provided an overview of justice, legal certainty, and benefit. Some argue that law is just if it has legal certainty. Meanwhile, the law is certain if it is written or codified. On the side of benefit, there are also many differences. Is the benefit for the victim only, or for the perpetrator as well? The above matters are constantly experiencing dynamics. Therefore, Muhammadiyah, in this case the Majelis Tarjih, wants to provide an alternative purpose of legal science. Based on this, this research has a fairly high urgency, considering that the Majelis Tarjih in its legal istbath should not deviate from the purpose of the law itself. This research method is normative research with a library approach. The research begins by analyzing Islamic sharia by classifying what is fixed (muthasibat) and what is changeable (muthaghoiroh). These two aspects are then discussed in dialogue with the objectives of sharia (maqasidu shari'ah). In the next stage, the author will study the istinbat method of the tarjih assembly's law to synchronize the objectives of law with the istinbath method of the Muhammadiyah tarjih assembly. The findings of this study are that the objectives of law from the Muhammadiyah perspective are flexible. This flexibility lies in achieving benefits and avoiding harm.

Abstract

Masyarakat adat Moronene yang tinggal di dalamnya memanfaatkan banyak tanaman untuk kesehatan dan sebagai sumber makanan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tanaman yang digunakan oleh masyarakat adat Moronene. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan informan. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah tabib (sando), pemimpin adat, dan orang-orang di lokasi yang memanfaatkan tanaman sebagai obat. Terdapat 57 tanaman yang digunakan oleh masyarakat, 10 tanaman yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan oleh masyarakat berdasarkan hasil analisis indeks konteks, nilai guna, dan indeks signifikansi budaya. Ada 4 kelompok tanaman yang digunakan secara bersamaan. Selain obat-obatan, ada 21 tanaman yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat dan bahan makanan lokal, dan 2 jenis tanaman yang digunakan sebagai pewarna untuk minuman. Melalui penemuan ini, diharapkan dapat menemukan spesies tanaman yang tidak hanya memiliki khasiat tradisional, tetapi juga memiliki nilai ekonomi jika diolah menjadi produk inovatif seperti obat herbal, teh herbal, atau obat luar. Pengembangan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat dengan tetap menjaga kearifan lokal dan melakukan praktik tradisional secara berkelanjutan tanpa mengabaikan nilai-nilai budaya yang menyertainya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of Compass shoes based on material, design, comfort, and durability. Compass shoes, as one of the increasingly popular local brands in Indonesia, have attracted consumer attention, especially among young people. The research method involved surveys of 100 respondents who use Compass shoes and laboratory tests on the materials and construction of the shoes. The results show that the material quality of Compass shoes falls into the good category, with high durability for daily use. In terms of design, Compass shoes received positive feedback for their modern appearance and alignment with current trends. However, there were some complaints regarding comfort, particularly for users with high activity levels. The shoes’ durability also received favorable evaluations, especially for use in urban environments. Overall, Compass shoes can compete with other local brands, but improvements in comfort are necessary to attract a broader market segment. This study is expected to serve as a reference for Compass shoe manufacturers in enhancing product quality and provide relevant information for consumers in selecting quality local products.

Abstract

A Foreign exchange reserves are a vital instrument in maintaining Indonesia's macroeconomic stability, particularly in mitigating external turmoil and stabilizing the rupiah exchange rate. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves position for the period from January 2022 to August 2025 using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method. Independent variables used include the Consumer Price Index (CPI), the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar (IDR/$), and the policy rate (BI Rate). Data was obtained from the publication of Indonesian Economic and Financial Statistics (SEKI) of Bank Indonesia. The results of the Dickey-Fuller Augmented Stationarity test showed that all variables were stationary at the first difference, while the Engle-Granger co-integration test confirmed the existence of a long-term relationship between the variables. The results of the estimation indicate that, in the long term, no variables have a significant impact on foreign exchange reserves. However, in the short term, the exchange rate has a positive and significant influence, while the policy rate has a negative and significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. A value speed of adjustment indicates that short-term imbalances are corrected towards long-term equilibrium each month, indicating a swift adjustment mechanism.
