Abstract

Culture is a characteristic preserved by ethnic groups in the social environment. The existence of cultural preservation provides a space embedded in community groups in realizing cultural consistency from generation to generation, such as the gawai makai taun tradition as a Kantuk Dayak custom held in May every year. This article aims to analyze the local wisdom of the community as a tradition attached to the Kantuk Dayak tribal group in carrying out the Gawai tradition. This study is essential to be carried out, especially for the preparation, process, and preservation of the values of local wisdom of the gawai tradition in Bika Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with contemporary ethnographic methods. The informants were village heads, community leaders, local communities, migrant communities, and traditional stakeholders, totaling nine informants. The results obtained that the value of local wisdom of the Kantuk Dayak community upholds solidarity in carrying out the gawai makai taun tradition, which means the community's gratitude to God for the blessings and fortune given in the form of appreciation for the abundant rice harvest. In addition, the Gawai Makai Taun tradition brings the community in Bika Village to strengthen cooperation in preparing and implementing the Makai Taun tradition, which contains local wisdom values that lead to a civic culture such as the ceremony carried out by the community in Bika Village to prepare gawai and implement gawai together.Kebudayaan menjadi suatu ciri khas yang dilestarikan kelompok etnis dalam lingkungan sosial. adanya pelestarian budaya memberikan ruang yang tertanam pada kelompok masyarakat dalam mewujudkan konsitensi budaya dari generasi ke genarasi seperti tradisi gawai makai taun sebagai adat istiadat Dayak Kantuk yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei setiap tahunnya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis kearifan lokal masyarakat sebagai tradisi yang melekat pada kelompok suku Dayak Kantuk dalam melaksanakan tradisi Gawai. Kajian ini menjadi penting untuk dilakukan terutama untuk persiapan, proses serta pelestarian nilai-nilai kearifan lokal tradisi gawai di Desa Bika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi kontemporer. Informan yang diambil yakni kepala desa, tokoh masyarakat, masyarakat setempat, masyarakat pendatang dan pemangku adat. Jumlah seluruhnya 9 orang informan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa Nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat Dayak Kantuk menjunjung tinggi solidaritas dalam melaksanakan tradisi gawai makai taun dimaknai rasa syukur masyarakat kepada Tuhan atas berkat dan rejeki yang diberikan dalam bentuk syukur terhadap panen padi yang melimpah. Disamping itu, tradisi gawai makai taun membawa masyarakat di Desa Bika untuk mempererat kerjasama dalam mempersiapkan dan melaksanakan tradisi gawai makai taun terkandung nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang mengarah kepada.budaya kewarganegaraan seperti upacara gawai dilakukan masyarakat di Desa Bika untuk mempersiapan gawai dan melaksanakan gawai bersama-sama.

Abstract

Each nation or country has a national identity that is different from another country, so that identity becomes the unique characteristic of a nation.  In this era of the 21st century, the community is demanded to ready to face globalization or ASEAN Economic Community  (AEC), which becomes a challenge for Indonesian people in defending nation identity when facing acculturation as a result of the free economy market so many foreigners will come to Indonesia freely. Therefore to solve that problem, it needs an effort to defend the national identity and national identity in facing AEC, so the nation's existence will keep maintained. One of them is through education.  This paper aims to find out how to defend national identity through curriculum development that prevailed in Indonesia.  The method used in this paper is an analytical description with a literature study that combines systematic review techniques as supporting data.  National identity defense can be done through curriculum development in education by presenting or studying national identity in civic education material through the educational syllabus. Setiap bangsa atau negara memiliki identitas nasional yang berbeda dari negara lain, sehingga identitas menjadi ciri khas unik suatu bangsa. Di era abad ke-21 ini, masyarakat dituntut siap menghadapi globalisasi atau Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA), yang menjadi tantangan bagi masyarakat Indonesia dalam mempertahankan jati diri bangsa ketika menghadapi akulturasi sebagai akibat pasar ekonomi bebas sehingga banyak orang asing akan datang ke Indonesia dengan bebas. Oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, perlu upaya untuk mempertahankan identitas nasional dan identitas nasional dalam menghadapi MEA, sehingga eksistensi bangsa akan tetap terjaga. Salah satunya melalui pendidikan. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mempertahankan identitas nasional melalui pengembangan kurikulum yang berlaku di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam makalah ini adalah deskripsi analitis dengan studi literatur yang menggabungkan teknik tinjauan review sistematis sebagai data pendukung. Pertahanan identitas nasional dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan kurikulum dalam pendidikan dengan menghadirkan atau mempelajari identitas nasional dalam materi pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui silabus pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstract. Lately ethnocentric attitudes or understand the area in the college environment are increasing. Discrimination against Sara is still occurring. If this is continued, it will further create division between the nation's children. This research aims to build tolerance among students to create unity and unity through the provision of Multicultural Education courses. This research uses qualitative methods with technical data collection through observation, interviews, documentation, and literacy studies. The results of this study show that multicultural education courses have managed to form a tolerance attitude among students of Pancasila Education and Citizenship of PGRI University Yogyakarta. Student tolerance is reflected in the implementation of lectures in the classroom, during the work of both individuals and groups, and during the implementation of the Final Semester Exam.Keywords: Tolerance; Student; Multicultural EducationAbstrak.  Akhir-akhir ini sikap etnosentris atau faham kedaerahan di lingkungan perguruan tinggi semakin meningkat. Diskriminasi atas sara masih terjadi. Jika hal ini terus menerus dibiarkan akan semakin menimbulkan perpecahan antar anak bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sikap toleransi dikalangan mahasiswa agar terciptanya persatuan dan kesatuan melalui pemberian mata kuliah Pendidikan Multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tekniik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mata kuliah Pendidikan Multikultural telah berhasil membentuk sikap toleransi dikalangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Sikap toleransi mahasiswa tercermin saat pelaksanaan perkuliahan di kelas, saat pengerjaan tugas baik individu maupun kelompok, dan pada saat pelaksanaan Ujian Akhir Semester.Kata Kunci: Toleransi; Mahasiswa; Pendidikan Multikultural

Abstract

The community environment has an essential impact on the formation of student character in schools. Therefore, character education is a crucial step in shaping the identity of the Indonesian people. This study aims to determine the optimization of character education through community participation around the school environment at Junior High School  Lab School Bandung. This research method uses a case study centered on Bandung Lab school Middle School. The results showed that the character education conducted at Lab school Junior High School Bandung could run well because of the collaboration between the school and community participation around the school environment. The partnership carried out produces values that help build student character. The values include religious values, integrity values, nationalist values, independent values, and mutual values.Keywords: Character Education, Community Participation, The Environment Around the SchoolLingkungan masyarakat memiliki dampak yang penting bagi terbentuknya karakter siswa di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, Pendidikan karakter merupakan langkah sangat penting dalam membentuk jati diri bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui optimalisasi pendidikan karakter melalui partisipasi masyarakat sekitar lingkungan sekolah pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama  Labschool Bandung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus yang berpusat pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama  Labschool Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikaan karakter yang dilakukan pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama  Labschool Bandung dapat berjalan dengan baik karena kerjasama antara sekolah dan partisipasi masyarakat sekitar lingkungan sekolah. Kerja sama yang dilakuan menghasilkan nilai-nilai yang turut membangun karakter siswa. Adapun nilai-nilai tersebut meliputi Nilai religius, Nilai integritas, Nilai nasionalis, Nilai mandiri dan Nilai gotong-royong.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Partisipasi Masyarakat, Lingkungan sekitar Sekolah

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social adaptation of new students of Master of Sociology Education FKIP Untan related to the application of the blended learning system in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. The research method used was a survey method through a questionnaire assisted by Google Forms and an online interview guide conducted to the entire (population) 8 students. newpostgraduate program as a research informant. Data collection techniques were carried out by direct and indirect communication techniques. Data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and online interview guides. The results showed that the new master students of sociology education at FKIP Untan, were already ready and able to adapt socially in the good category because they mastered IT (87.5%) in the implementation of the blended learning system and in the very good category because they mastered IT and lecture materials (12.5%). %) in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. There are eight empirical obstacles in the field when implementing blended learning / social adaptation problems: from the results of online interview answers and answers to questionnaires via google form in the form of (1) unstable internet wireless network connection disturbance, (2 ) electricity network (local) that often goes out, (3) limited equipment (4) understanding/skills in using ICT, (5) delays in work, and/or sending assignments for lecture materials to lecturers, quizzes and deepening of material, (6 ) busy activities outside of lectures, (7) limited time involved in online lectures and (8) internet quota/package.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adaptasi sosial mahasiswa baru magister pendidikan sosiologi FKIP Untan berkaitan dengan penerapan system blended learning di era pandemi covid 19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey melalui kusioner berbantuan google form dan panduan wawancara daring dilakukan kepada seluruh ( populasi) 8 mahasiswa baru program pascasarjana selaku informan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik komunikasi langsung dan tidak langsung. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dan panduan wawancara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa baru magister pendidikan sosiologi FKIP Untan, ternyata telah siap dan mampu beradaptasi sosial terkatagori baik karena menguasai IT (87,5%) dalam pelaksanaan system blended learning dan terkatagori sangat baik karena sangat menguasai IT dan materi kuliah (12,5%) di era pandemi covid 19. Ada delapan kendala secara empiris di lapangan saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran blended /masalah beradaptasi sosial: dari hasil jawaban wawancara daring dan jawaban angket via google form berupa (1)gangguan koneksi jaringan nirkabel internet yang tidak stabil, (2)jaringan aliran listrik (lokal) yang sering padam,(3)keterbatasan perangkat (4)pemahaman /ketrampilan penggunaan ICT, (5) keterlambatan pengerjaan, dan/atau mengirim tugas-tugas materi kuliah kepada dosen, kuis serta pendalaman materi,(6)kesibukan kegiatan diluar perkuliahan, (7)keterbatasan waktu keterlibatan dalam perkuliahan daring dan (8) kuota / paket internet yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Abstract. Students ' behaviour lately is becoming more concerned with being far from virtue values, needing to improve students ' character to be better. This research aims to know: 1) The values of the character in the syllabus, 2) Implementation of character education in the PKn-bus, and 3) supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of character education in PKn syllabus in SMA Negeri 1 Sleman. This research uses qualitative methods. Data retrieval is done with observation and interviews. PKn teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Sleman implements character education in PKn syllabus in the sidelines of the subject matter, provide for example, and habituation. The implementation of character education in syllabus is quite effective in forming students ' character, indicated by good student behavior during school. The contributing factor to the implementation of character education in syllabus is the teacher's cooperation in character education, support of the headmaster by providing literature, direction and coaching, as well as the instruction of 18 character values that must be applied. The factor is that when there is solid material, the teacher sometimes forgot and did not get to instill the character values related to the material. Teachers need to plan learning better, so that the subject matter can be completed and character planting is also possible.Keywords: Character Education, Citizenship Education.Abstrak.  Perilaku siswa akhir-akhir ini semakin memprihatinkan yang jauh dari nilai-nilai kebajikan, perlu perbaikan karakter siswa agar menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) nilai-nilai karakter yang ada dalam silabus PKn, 2) implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam silabus PKn, dan 3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam silabus PKn di SMA Negeri 1 Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Guru PKn di SMA Negeri 1 Sleman mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dalam silabus PKn di sela menerangkan materi pelajaran, memberikan keteladanan, dan pembiasaan-pembiasaan. Implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam silabus cukup efektif membentuk karakter siswa, diindikasikan dengan perilaku siswa yang baik selama di sekolah. Faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam silabus adalah kerja sama guru dalam pendidikan karakter, dukungan kepala sekolah dengan menyediakan literatur, arahan dan pembinaan, serta adanya petunjuk 18 nilai karakter yang harus diterapkan. Faktor penghambatnya adalah apabila terdapat materi yang padat, sehingga guru terkadang terlupa dan tidak sempat menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter yang berkaitan dengan materi tersebut. Guru perlu merencanakan pembelajaran secara lebih baik, sehingga materi pelajaran dapat diselesaikan dan penanaman karakter juga dapat dilakukan.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter; Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan

Abstract

Students are one of the smallest groups in society that have a role in the life of campus political sociology. So, students' awareness of their role as agents of change can provide a change in a social building for the better. The purpose of this research is to socialize in creating student awareness to participate in campus life. The method used is through observation and the author's experience in participating in campus organizations that have been followed. The method used through the author's observation and experience in following the campus organization that has been followed. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The results showed that students can play an active role in campus political activities. The conclusion of this study shows that many campus political activities are carried out by students.

Abstract

The use of social media platforms by various groups has made Buzzer known to social media users. The existence of a buzzer with all its advantages and disadvantages has become a phenomenon. The buzzer was originally just a person/individual who sells or/or services (product marketing), after that it was converted and used as a tool of power/authority holder (propaganda tool) to encourage and lead public opinion for certain purposes and people's political choices. Apart from this phenomenon, this study is intended to describe the contribution of the buzzer in the formation of people's views on social media. This study was carried out using a literature review research method that can support the text analysis method. From this study, it was found that the buzzer has a relevant contribution to the formation of public views on social media. At the same time in the creation and management of content or issues, the buzzer has a structured work hierarchy. Therefore, in responding to the presence of a buzzer, it should be viewed wisely. The conclussion is buzzer work does not run spontaneously, and cannot be separated from the wants and needs of a definite group.

Abstract

His article discusses the rights and justice of transmigrated women from the Lio Tribe from a feminist perspective. The multicultural ethnic community environment requires the Lio ethnic transmigration community to mingle with the local community in Bhakti Jaya Village. The transmigration community of the Lio Tribe came and settled in Bhakti Jaya Village and continued to carry out the culture that was brought from their area of origin, giving rise to different opinions from each of the figures involved. The culture brought a marriage culture called belis. This research was conducted using an ethnographic methodology to reveal facts using observations, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The participants of this study amounted to nine people as research informants, seven people, and two local people. The study results revealed that the Lio Tribe succeeded in determining the form and number of belis by prioritizing the rights and justice that both partners must obtain. This result can also lead to household harmony for both partners, and therefore, for the transmigration community of the Lio Tribe, who are directly related to this traditional tradition, they must build good relations between the two families, both the bridal family and the inter-ethnic community. And this study shows the harmony between the Belis cultural tradition and the concept of feminism. Finally, this article provides participation to propose solutions to problems in preventing conflicts that may arise in the families involved in this traditional procession.

Abstract

The degradation of multicultural character in students is supported by concerns about this, the teacher as one of the things that must shape the character of students does not have basic values that must be used in the context of multicultural character in students. The purpose of this study is to re-analyze the values of Pancasila that can be used by teachers as a basis for forming multicultural characters in students. In this study used library research methods (Library Research).
