Abstract

Ketahanan pangan dan kesehatan keluarga merupakan fondasi utama pembangunan berkelanjutan, namun pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan di Desa Buntulia Tengah masih belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat agar mampu mengelola pekarangan secara produktif melalui sistem biointegrasi tanaman apotek hidup, serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan kesehatan dan kebersihan lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan kolaboratif yang menempatkan masyarakat sebagai subjek perubahan di empat dusun sasaran. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi observasi, sosialisasi, praktik penanaman (kemangi, bidara arab, ketumbar), serta pendampingan intensif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya perubahan pola pikir masyarakat yang mulai memandang pekarangan sebagai sumber pangan dan obat herbal, dibuktikan dengan pembuatan demplot percontohan dan partisipasi aktif warga. Selain itu, program kolaborasi lintas jurusan berupa edukasi kesehatan gigi dan inovasi tempat sampah berbahan bambu berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap sanitasi lingkungan. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi program ini berkontribusi positif terhadap penguatan ketahanan pangan dan kemandirian kesehatan keluarga di Desa Buntulia Tengah.

Abstract

Weeds are one of the main factors that inhibit the growth and yield of rice crops in agricultural areas. The presence of uncontrolled weeds can compete with the main crop for resources, thereby significantly reducing productivity. This study aims to identify the morphological characteristics and types of weeds in rice fields (Oryza sativa) in the Wonco rice field area. The study consists of three stages: site observation, sample collection and data gathering, and identification. Data collection was conducted using an exploratory method, which involved exploring a rice field plot of 515 m². Weed sampling was conducted four times at various stages of rice plant growth. Identification was performed qualitatively based on morphological characteristics and quantitatively by calculating the percentage of weed presence. Environmental factors measured included air temperature, air humidity, soil temperature, soil humidity, pH, and light intensity. Based on the research conducted in the rice fields of Wonco, Bungi District, Baubau City, there are 40 species of rice weeds, consisting of 8 (eight) species of grasses, 6 (six) species of sedges, and 26 species of broad-leaved weeds.

Abstract

Violence against children remains a serious problem in the implementation of the Child-Friendly City (KLA) initiative, particularly within the Special Protection Cluster. Although the Padang City Government has implemented various programs and services to prevent violence against children, the incidence of such violence remains high and has even increased following the enactment of the Regional Regulation on KLA. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the KLA Policy for the Special Protection Cluster in preventing violence against children in Padang City and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using George C. Edwards III’s policy implementation framework, which encompasses the dimensions of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results showed that policy communication had been conducted through school-based dissemination activities and outreach by Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) cadres, but its coverage remained uneven. The availability of resources was still limited, particularly in terms of personnel and funding, whereas the disposition dimension indicated a high level of commitment among field-level implementers. In the bureaucratic structure dimension, interagency coordination through the KLA Task Force had been established, but its technical authority remained limited. Uneven policy communication, limited implementation resources, low public awareness, and a weak program evaluation system were the main factors hindering the effectiveness of efforts to prevent violence against children. This study concludes that the implementation of the KLA Policy for the Special Protection Cluster in Padang City has not yet been optimal. The findings emphasize the need to strengthen resource capacity, improve public literacy, expand the reach of policy communication, and develop an evaluation system based on measurable indicators to enhance the effectiveness of child protection.

Abstract

Community participation is a determining factor in the success of climate change policies at the local level, but studies specifically examining the role of regional environmental agencies in building and sustaining such participation remain limited. This study aimed to analyse the role of the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kota Padang in increasing community participation in the implementation of the Program Kampung Iklim (ProKlim), identify the constraints encountered, and describe the measures taken to address them. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of DLH employees responsible for ProKlim, subdistrict or urban village officials, and administrators of community groups implementing ProKlim. A total of nine informants were drawn from four community groups with different levels of participation. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation and were subsequently analysed using an interactive model comprising data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was examined through source triangulation. The results showed that the DLH had performed its roles as a facilitator, dynamizer, and catalyst through location identification, socialization, guidance, facility provision, and motivation. However, the implementation of these roles was uneven because some groups received intensive guidance and support, whereas others were merely registered without further follow-up. The main constraints included low levels of community digital literacy, the substantial administrative burden associated with ProKlim assessment, and low environmental awareness in several locations. The DLH addressed these constraints through direct assistance with reporting, gradual data collection, continuous guidance, and the involvement of local figures and active groups as agents of change. This study confirms that equitable guidance, strengthened administrative assistance, and the involvement of local actors are necessary to increase community participation in the implementation of ProKlim. These findings provide a theoretical contribution to the development of studies on community-based environmental governance as well as practical implications for the DLH Kota Padang and other regional environmental agencies in designing more equitable and sustainable guidance mechanisms. Future research may examine the effectiveness of ProKlim in achieving ecological, social, and economic outcomes across a broader geographical area.

Abstract

Social skills are an important competency that students need to possess to support social interaction, self-adjustment, and success in the learning process. However, the results of a preliminary study at SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin indicate that students' social skills remain suboptimal, as reflected in low levels of communication, cooperation, empathy, and self-control. One alternative medium for Guidance and Counseling services that can be used to help develop social skills is the Round of Dragon Snake Rainbow (RoDSR) game. This study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of the RoDSR game and students' social skills at SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin, using a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 59 seventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire on the implementation of the RoDSR game and a social skills questionnaire, both of which had met the requirements of validity and reliability testing. Data analysis was conducted using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and Spearman Rank correlation test with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics version 25.0. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between the implementation of the RoDSR game and students' social skills, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.675, which falls into the strong category. These findings suggest that the better the implementation of the RoDSR game, the better students' social skills tend to be. Thus, the RoDSR game can serve as an alternative medium for Guidance and Counseling services to support the development of students' social skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi saluran pemasaran kelapa muda serta menganalisis margin dan efisiensi pemasaran di Kelurahan Empoang Utara, Kecamatan Binamu, Kabupaten Jeneponto. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei-Juni 2026 dengan penentuan informan secara purposive. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner kepada pelaku pemasaran, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari dokumen dan statistik wilayah. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan pola saluran pemasaran dan secara kuantitatif untuk menghitung margin serta efisiensi pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua saluran pemasaran, yaitu Saluran I: petani - pedagang pengecer - konsumen dan Saluran II: petani - pedagang pengumpul - pedagang pengecer - konsumen. Saluran II lebih dominan digunakan oleh petani, yaitu 62,5%, sedangkan Saluran I digunakan oleh 37,5% petani. Total margin pemasaran pada Saluran I sebesar Rp10.000/buah, sedangkan Saluran II sebesar Rp12.000/buah. Total biaya pemasaran Saluran I sebesar Rp5.735/buah dan Saluran II sebesar Rp5.200/buah. Berdasarkan rasio biaya pemasaran terhadap harga jual konsumen, tingkat efisiensi Saluran I sebesar 38,23% dan Saluran II sebesar 34,67%. Dengan demikian, Saluran II merupakan saluran yang lebih efisien karena memiliki proporsi biaya pemasaran yang lebih rendah terhadap nilai produk yang dipasarkan.
