Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of PBL into the learning of yellow books at PMDG Campus 4. The focus of the study includes the impact of PBL and pedagogical innovation in Islamic boarding schools, as well as potential challenges and effective implementation strategies. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of teachers, grade XI students, and the implementing committee involved in the learning program. The results of the study indicate that the Panca Jiwa PMDG is aligned with the student-centred PBL approach, and the core principles of PBL can be applied, yielding potential benefits in the learning of yellow books. The program implementation includes constructive, collaborative, contextual and independent learning. The findings of this study indicate that the PBL model approach can not only deepen students' contextual understanding, but also develop 21st-century skills to face contemporary challenges by upholding Islamic values. Thus, the right and accurate strategy reduces the challenges faced in implementing the PBL model in the learning of yellow books.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an essential aspect of early childhood cognitive development, as it shapes logical, critical, and creative thinking from an early age. However, many early childhood learning practices still focus on rote activities that do not sufficiently stimulate higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital learning media on improving problem-solving abilities among early childhood students. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model involving 32 children in group B at an early childhood education institution in Situbondo. Data were collected through observation sheets assessing children’s problem-solving abilities and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate a positive and significant influence between the use of digital media and children’s problem-solving ability (r = 0.61; p < 0.05) with the regression equation Y = 14.86 + 0.40X. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.37 shows that 37% of the variation in problem-solving ability is explained by the use of digital media. These findings confirm that digital media is effective as an interactive and engaging learning tool that enhances critical thinking and problem-solving skills in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study examines how the concepts of love (mahabbah) and compassion (rahmah) in religious texts, particularly the Qur'an and the Bible, can be reactualized as the foundation of an ethic of solidarity amidst the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The protracted crisis in Gaza demonstrates the irony of how religion is often used to justify conflict, even though it contains the teachings of universal love. Using the hermeneutics of love, liberation theology, and ethics of empathy, this study explores how verses about mercy and agape have transformed into practices of interfaith solidarity, ranging from donation drives and communal prayer to advocacy for justice. It also highlights the challenges of the politicization of religion and narratives of hatred that hijack sacred texts for the sake of power. The results of this study emphasize that rediscovering verses about love can serve as a foundation for a global ethic for caring for humanity amidst the wounds of Gaza. Religion, ultimately, is not merely an identity, but a bridge that embraces all of humanity.   Keywords: Agape, Gaza, Hermeneutics, Mercy, Solidarity

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyebab kematian utama yang sering tidak disadari gejalanya. Ketidakpatuhan minum obat dan kurangnya dukungan keluarga menjadi faktor penghambat keberhasilan terapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendampingan keluarga dengan media booklet kalender dan role play terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan pencegahan hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel terdiri dari 20 responden keluarga pasien hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gunung Sari. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan lembar observasi keterampilan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan kategori baik dari 10% (pre-test) menjadi 65% (post-test). Keterampilan pencegahan hipertensi juga meningkat signifikan, dengan 90% responden mencapai kategori baik setelah intervensi. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah edukasi melalui pendampingan keluarga berbasis booklet kalender dan role play efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan keluarga dalam manajemen hipertensi.

Abstract

This study explores gender equality in Islam through three main dimensions: the fundamental concepts of gender and equality, the Islamic principles of justice, and the strategic roles of women in da’wah and education. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach, this research draws on primary sources (the Qur’an and Hadith) and contemporary academic literature. Data were analyzed thematically through stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results indicate that Islam provides strong theological and social foundations for promoting equitable and contextual gender equality. Conceptually, gender is viewed as a social construct that can be reconstructed through critical awareness and justice-oriented interpretation. The principles of monotheism and justice in Islam affirm the spiritual and social equality of men and women while acknowledging their natural distinctions. In da’wah and education, women serve as educators, agents of social transformation, and active contributors in both domestic and public spheres. The study concludes that gender equality in Islam is not an adaptation of modern values but an intrinsic expression of divine justice and human dignity contained within Islamic revelation.

Abstract

Plasma farmer groups smallholder farmers linked contractually to larger nucleus companies in the palm oil industry face challenges in maintaining consistent fresh fruit bunch (FFB) quality. These challenges, primarily due to the use of uncertified seeds and fluctuating yields, negatively affect their business performance. To address these issues, this study investigates how information sharing and trust influence business performance, both directly and indirectly, through competitive advantage. A quantitative approach was adopted using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 83 plasma farmer groups selected through probability sampling. Structural equation modeling via SmartPLS was used to analyze the data. Results show that both information sharing and trust significantly enhance business performance, directly and via competitive advantage. Effective information sharing improves coordination and operational efficiency, while trust strengthens reliable partnerships, leading to higher productivity and profitability. Competitive advantage achieved through superior product quality and cost efficiency amplifies these effects. The study concludes that fostering transparent communication and trust-based collaboration is critical to strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of plasma farmer groups within the palm oil supply chain.

Abstract

Latar belakang Permasalahan kesehatan banyak sekali ditemukan terutama mengenai dampak jika tidak mendapatkan imunisasi dasar lengkap pada bayi, seperti meningkatnya angka kesakitan dan kematian akibat terserang penyakit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi dasar lengkap pada bayi di Desa Sumedangan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian cross sectional.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 0-1 tahun sebanyak 59 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel probability-total populasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu variable yaitu pengetahuan ibu dalam pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sumedangan wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sopaah pada tanggal 15 Februari sampai 14 Maret 2022. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan kuesioner close ended jenis multiple dengan total 17 pertanyaan dan kemudian dilakukan pengolahan data berupa editing, scoring, coding, tabulating. Hasil sebagian besar dari responden di Desa Sumedangan memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup dalam pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap pada bayi usia 0-1 tahun. Saran Ibu harus lebih aktif dalam mencari informasi melalui media cetak, televisi, radio dan ikut berperan aktif dalam penyelenggaraan penyuluhan kesehatan yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan agar ibu mengetahui pentingnya imunisasi dasar lengkap pada bayi.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential 21st-century competencies for students. The complexity of current environmental issues necessitates applying critical thinking to formulate effective solutions. This study aims to examine the effect of integrating the Guided Inquiry model with a Deep Learning approach on students' critical thinking skills regarding environmental change. The research was conducted in tenth-grade Biology classes at two private high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia, during the 2024/2025 Academic Year. A quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed. The sample consisted of 70 students, selected via purposive sampling, divided into two classes of 35. Results showed an average score of 85.18 for the experimental class and 77.32 for the control class. Independent t-test results indicated a significant impact of the integrated Guided Inquiry and Deep Learning approach on improving students' critical thinking skills. Thus, this pedagogical integration serves as an effective option for teachers to strengthen students' critical reasoning. Both methods foster an interactive learning environment that stimulates the exploration of new ideas and independent knowledge construction. ABSTRAK Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kompetensi abad ke-21 yang perlu dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Kompleksitas permasalahan lingkungan saat ini menuntut penerapan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk merumuskan solusi yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh integrasi model Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan pendekatan Deep Learning  terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X di dua SMA swasta di Jakarta, Indonesia, pada Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 70 peserta didik yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dan dibagi ke dalam dua kelas yang masing-masing berjumlah 35 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,18, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 77,32. Hasil uji t independen menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari integrasi model Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan pendekatan Deep Learning  terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Dengan demikian, penerapan integrasi model dan pendekatan pembelajaran ini dapat menjadi pilihan yang efektif bagi guru untuk memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Integrasi ini juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif yang mendorong eksplorasi ide-ide baru serta konstruksi pengetahuan secara mandiri.

Abstract

It is crucial for advanced writing learning to have learning modules that allow students to cultivate holistic writing skills through a integrated feedback method. Nonetheless, the current modules do not include a thorough needs assessment, which restricts their applicability and efficiency. An examination of the teaching module, focused on the specific context and learning requirements, provides a thorough framework to facilitate advanced writing learning. This research analyzed the requirements of both lecturers and students concerning a holistic writing module that incorporates integrated feedback, focusing on the target situation (needs and lacks) and learning needs (preferences). The research employs the ADDIE development framework, with a focus on the analysis phase. Data were collected via questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and subsequently analyzed qualitatively using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that the mean score for the need for the teaching module was 3.29, whereas the mean score for the lack of it was 2.72. This indicates a need for additional development of the teaching module. Learning observation results support this information, with an average score of 2.45, categorized as good. Students require a holistic writing module that incorporates integrated feedback. This research suggests that teaching modules for English Language Teaching (ELT) should be designed through a learner-centered and technology-supported approach to support advanced learning, innovative learning design, and contextual literacy development in higher education. Future research should involve developing and evaluating writing module to verify their efficacy.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan tingkat risiko bencana tinggi, sehingga diperlukan tenaga kesehatan yang memiliki kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi kondisi darurat, termasuk mahasiswa gizi. Namun, keterlibatan mahasiswa gizi dalam pelatihan tanggap bencana masih terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kesiapsiagaan bencana mahasiswa gizi melalui pelatihan berbasis simulasi yang aplikatif dan kontekstual. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi empat fase, yaitu persiapan dan koordinasi, penyusunan modul pelatihan, simulasi lapangan, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kegiatan melibatkan 135 mahasiswa dan 10 warga relawan yang berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan logistik pangan, Rapid Health Assessment, penyelenggaraan makanan darurat, dan konseling gizi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam asesmen cepat, distribusi logistik, serta edukasi gizi bagi kelompok rentan. Selain itu, partisipasi masyarakat juga meningkat dalam memahami pentingnya kesiapsiagaan pangan dan gizi saat bencana. Simpulan kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis simulasi efektif dalam membangun kapasitas mahasiswa dan masyarakat terhadap penanganan gizi darurat serta dapat dijadikan model pengembangan pendidikan kebencanaan di bidang kesehatan.
