Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of religiosity and Sharia financial literacy on the interest of Gen Z students of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in saving in Sharia banks. The population of this study were students at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta at Strata 1 level who belong to the Generation Z or Gen Z category, were Muslim and had not saved in a Sharia bank. The research method used quantitative methods. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 24 software tools. The results obtained in this study showed that religiosity had a positive and significant effect on Gen Z's interest in saving in Sharia banks whereas Sharia financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on Gen Z's interest in saving in Sharia banks. Further, religiosity and Sharia financial literacy simultaneously influence Gen Z's interest in saving in Sharia banks.

Abstract

Universities in Indonesia must adapt to prepare graduates who meet the needs of the world of work in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) or Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus program initiated by the Directorate General of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia has organized the Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) Program which provides real learning experiences for students. The Marketing and Public Relations (MPR) of the program implements a Cyber Public Relations strategy through Instagram @magangmerdeka to disseminate information and interact with students. This study aims to describe the Cyber Public Relations strategy implemented by the MPR Department in increasing student participation in the MSIB batch 4, 5, and 6 program through Instagram. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document studies from the @magangmerdeka account. The results showed that the MPR Department implemented a Cyber Public Relations strategy based on Holtz's theory, namely strategic with the Feature, Advantage, Benefit approach; integrated using pillar content and Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC); targeted with a specific audience; and measurable through engagement rate, impression, conversion rate, and the AIDA model which emphasizes Awareness & Interest. Obstacles include the continuity of IMC messages and communication limitations due to the "No DM Service" policy. The PESO Model approach was also applied to increase audience reach and interaction. Although data on clicks or direct registrations from Instagram is not yet available, user interactions indicate the important role of Instagram in encouraging potential participants to register. Thus, the Cyber PR strategy through Instagram has proven effective in increasing student interest in the MSIB Kampus Merdeka Program.

Abstract

The method of Qur'anic instruction plays a central role in shaping students' religious literacy skills from an early age. This article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of three popular methods in Qur'an reading education: Iqra, Tilawati, and Ummi, by reviewing relevant literature. Each method offers distinct approaches and characteristics in developing students’ ability to read the Qur’an with proper tajwid and tartil. The review reveals that all three methods are effective within specific contexts: Tilawati excels in musicality and reading fluency, Iqra emphasizes speed and foundational literacy, and Ummi focuses on nurturing religious values and emotional engagement. This study suggests that selecting an appropriate method should align with the learners’ characteristics and the goals of Qur'anic instruction.

Abstract

This study examines the use of interactive digital teaching materials in Aqidah Akhlaq learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in response to the growing role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education. It aims to describe the implementation of digital materials, analyze teacher and student experiences, and identify supporting factors and challenges. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through literature study, data were gathered via interviews, observation, and documentation involving teachers and students. Results show that digital materials improve student motivation, participation, and understanding of religious concepts. Narrative-based media, such as animated Islamic stories, foster emotional connection and engagement. However, challenges include limited digital infrastructure, gaps in teacher skills, and unequal policy support, especially in non-urban areas. The study concludes that integrating technology in religious education strengthens cognitive, affective, and spiritual development but requires systematic efforts in teacher training, infrastructure, and inclusive policies

Abstract

Hassan Hanafi was educated in a fundamentalist Islamic social environment, and then received Western scientific and methodological knowledge. The defeat of Egypt and Islam from Israel and the Egyptian atmosphere which was full of repressive and authoritarian actions, made him a figure who in his way of thinking wanted to find solutions for the development of Islam. One of them is the effort to interpret (ta’wīl) the Qur'an from the current perspective, especially in Egypt. This article will reveal the epistemology initiated by Hassan Hanafi in interpreting the Qur'an, by finding out the sources of interpretation, approaches, and applicative steps in interpreting it and the background. The results of the study found: 1) The source of Hassan Hanafi's interpretation of the Qur'an is taken from oral data and codified data in the form of text, which looks silent but alive, and when we read more will show various forms. 2) Hassan Hanafi's al-Qur'an interpretation approach is ushul fiqh, phenomenology, Marxism and Hermeneutics. 3) The step of interpretation by building a thematic interpretation, by making the problems that occur into the object, to produce the interpretation needed by the community as a solution for progress. From what was initiated by Hanafi, in essence much has been done by previous mufassir. But what makes it different is the situation he experienced made him build a social interpretation of Al-Qur'an, which is reformist, liberating and humanist.

Abstract

The mixed gas pressure theory states that if the pressure of one gas in a gas mixture increases, the partial pressure of the other gas will decrease. Increasing the oxygen concentration in the non-rebreathing mask will reduce the partial pressure of CO2, so that it can reduce PaCO2 and maintain a high PaO2. Researchers want to know the level of emergency by looking at the effectiveness of administering O2 on hemodynamic status using the NEWS (National Early Warning System) method, where currently only O2 saturation and arterial blood gas analysis values ​​are often used to evaluate, without any scoring, with an action algorithm according to the emergency level scoring report. This research is a quasi-experimental one-group pre-post-test design with a one-shot pretest and posttest design on all patients who have respiratory complaints with NEWS score values ​​in the moderate and severe categories in the ICU of Dr. Hospital. Slamet Martodirjo Pamekasan. Sampling uses non-probability purposive sampling. Because the population of this study is infinite, the target sample size is 20 respondents. The emergence of patients in the ICU after receiving the second 6-hour phase of O2 NRM therapy intervention was found by most respondents (55%) in the mild category, and only 20% in the severe category. This means that the number of patients in the critical or high category is much less than after the first 2 hours of therapy, namely 65% ​​to 20% and most of them are already in the mild category after the second 6 hours of O2 therapy. This study concludes that O2 NRM therapy has a significant effect on reducing the level of emergency for the first 2 hours and evaluation for the second 6 hours, resulting in a different emergency algorithm (reducing the level of emergency) for the two evaluation phases with different levels of emergency.

Abstract

Montgomery Watt and Patricia Crone are two figures who are concerned to examine the emergence of Islam in Mecca, whether the trigger is socio-economic, trade, or socio-political, power. Watt states that Mecca from the beginning, which was already a center of pilgrimage, in the next process became an important trading center, giving birth to master traders. In the process, these conditions gave rise to Islam there. Crone, on the other hand, says it was Arab nationalism that determined the development of Islam in Mecca and the Arabian peninsula. This research will re-examine the two theses by trying to reveal through the approach of the Qur'anic texts, because according to the author, the revelation of the Qur'anic text cannot be separated from the situation that occurred at that time. This research is librabry research with documentation research techniques. Watt's thesis is closer to the truth that it was the trade factor that triggered the emergence of Islam. Crone's opinion is not in accordance with the text of the Qur'an. In Mecca there is no text that talks about political power, because Islam is still weak with few followers. Texts related to power only appeared after the hijrah, where it was needed to protect and defend the state of Medina from outside attacks, or even to expand power because of welfare needs, where financial resources were not found in Medina.   [Montgomery Watt dan Patricia Crone adalah dua tokoh yang konsen mengkaji kemunculan Islam di Mekkah, apakah pemicunya adalah kekuasaan sosio-ekonomi, perdagangan, atau sosio-politik. Watt menyatakan bahwa Mekkah yang semula sudah menjadi pusat ziarah, pada proses selanjutnya menjadi pusat perdagangan penting sehingga melahirkan para pedagang ulung. Dalam perjalanannya, kondisi tersebut memunculkan Islam di sana. Crone, sebaliknya, mengatakan bahwa nasionalisme Arablah yang menentukan perkembangan Islam di Mekah dan semenanjung Arab. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji kembali kedua tesis tersebut dengan mencoba mengungkap melalui pendekatan teks Al-Qur’an, karena menurut penulis, turunnya teks Al-Qur’an tidak lepas dari situasi yang terjadi pada saat itu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan teknik penelitian dokumentasi. Pendapat Watt lebih mendekati kebenaran bahwa faktor perdaganganlah yang memicu munculnya Islam. Pendapat Crone tersebut tidak sesuai dengan teks Al-Qur'an. Di Mekkah belum ada teks yang berbicara tentang kekuasaan politik, karena Islam masih lemah dengan pengikut yang sedikit. Teks-teks yang berkaitan dengan kekuasaan baru muncul setelah masa hijrah, dimana diperlukan untuk melindungi dan mempertahankan negara Madinah dari serangan luar, atau bahkan untuk memperluas kekuasaan karena kebutuhan kesejahteraan, dimana sumber daya finansial tidak terdapat di Madinah.]

Abstract

Kesadaran keberlanjutan lingkungan perlu dikenalkan kepada anak sejak dini untuk bisa mengambil peran dalam mencapai tujuan Sustainable Develoment Goals yang merupakan kesepakatan global. Masalah keberlanjutan yang kompleks bisa dimulai dari hal-hal kecil seperti pengelolaan sampah yang tepat. Pengelolaan sampah perlu edukasi kepada anak-anak untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan jenis-jenis sampah dan pemilahan sampah melalui pendekatan gamifikasi yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif peserta. Peserta kegiatan ini berjumlah 31 anak yang berada di salah satu Panti Asuhan di Kota Medan. Keberhasilan kegiatan dinilai menggunakan pre-test dan post-test kepada peserta tentang pengetahuan lingkungan. Data hasil pre-test dan post-test dianalisis menggunakan uji beda rata-rata (T-test). Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui pendekatan gamifikasi mampu meningkatkan secara signifikan pengetahuan peserta tentang jenis-jenis sampah dan pemilahan sampah.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education continues to be a top priority, both by the government and by all parties involved in the world of education. To achieve this goal, every educational institution, including secondary schools, is required to be able to implement effective and efficient management. This research aims to analyze the leadership of school principals in implementing Total Quality Management at MAN Karimun. This research was carried out at MAN Karimun. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods using interviews and direct observation at schools. The results of this research explain that with transformational leadership, school principals inspire all madrasa elements to innovate and work towards a shared vision. A collaborative approach ensures decision making involves multiple parties, creating a sense of collective responsibility. Meanwhile, servant leadership is demonstrated through the principal's attention to the needs of students, teachers and staff to create a comfortable learning environment. The positive impact of this leadership can be seen from improving the quality of education and achievement of MAN Karimun students.

Abstract

Budaya sebagai identitas sosial masih menjadi isu yang hangat untuk perbincangkan. Fenomena tersebut berkembang luas pada era digital sebagai bentuk imbas berkembangnya modernisasi. aspek yang dibenturkan adalah modernisasi dan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap budaya. isu tersebut diprediksi muncul sejak akhir abad ke-20, dampaknya masyarakat semakin kehilangan Identitas budaya. sehingga dibutuhkan usaha untuk representasi identitas tersebut melalui pendiidkan sosial dan budaya.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian field research (penelitian lapangan) yang digunakan secara langsung untuk mendapatkan data dan permasalahan yang lebih konkrit dan secara langsung berhubungan dengan berbagai objek yang akan diteliti. data yang diperoleh akan diolah melalui reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi (conclusion drawing/verification). faktor pendukung lahirnya identitas budaya meliputi pembelajaran dan penerimaan yang meliputi suatu tradisi, sifat bawaan, bahasa, agama, keturunan dari suatu kebudayaan. faktor pendukung berupa bekal entik dan pendidikan sosial budya dapat dijadikan modal awal untuk mewujudkankan individu yang memiliki identitas budaya. upaya yang dilakukan untuk merepresentasikan identitas budaya adalah dengan cara pemanfatan media soial dan pembiasaan karakter pada mahasiswa.Identitas Budaya dalam pendidikan sosial budaya merupakan suatu proses yang penting bagi mahasiswa, karena mampu membantu mereka untuk memahami dan menghargai keragaman budaya, mengembangkan keterampilan interkultural, serta mempersiapkan diri menjadi warga global yang berpikiran terbuka dan mampu berinteraksi secara positif dengan masyarakat yang berbeda-beda. sehingga dampaknya secara langsung dapat direpresentasikan untuk masyarakat luas baik secara digital maupun secara langsung.
