Abstract

Penyakit hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi menjadi salah satu masalah penyakit yang umum terjadi di masyarakat. Seringkali, pengidap hipertensi tidak menunjukkan gejala dan baru diketahui apabila telah terjadi gangguan pada organ seperti gangguan fungsi jantung, stroke, gagal ginjal, bahkan sampai pada kematian. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pada masyarakat mengenai hipertensi di desa Sibalaya Utara wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kamaipura Kecamatan Tanambulava Kabupaten Sigi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan rancangan pre eksperimen (the one group pre test post test. jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Masyarakat desa Sibalaya Utara dan sampel sebanyak 20 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Sample T Test, dengan variabel independen penyuluhan kesehatan dan variabel dependen pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pada masyarakat mengenai hipertensi di desa Sibalaya Utara wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kamaipura Kecamatan Tanambulava Kabupaten Sigi. Hasil analisis diperoleh ada pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pada masyarakat mengenai hipertensi di desa Sibalaya Utara wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kamaipura Kecamatan Tanambulava Kabupaten Sigi dengan nilai p < 0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pada masyarakat mengenai hipertensi di desa Sibalaya Utara wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kamaipura Kecamatan Tanambulava Kabupaten Sigi.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve the ability to recognize alphabetic letters in early childhood group B in KB Ilham Maukaro through the use of letter blocks. The research method used is class action research (PTK) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 15 children aged 5-6 years. The research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study show that the systematic use of letter blocks can improve children's ability to recognize the letters of the alphabet. In the pre-cycle, only 40% of children are able to recognize letters well. After the implementation of learning using letter blocks in the first cycle, the percentage increased t o 65%. Improvements were made in the second cycle, so that children's learning outcomes increased significantly with 90% of children being able to recognize and pronounce the letters of the alphabet well. Children become more active, enthusiastic, and show an overall improvement in literacy skills. Children become more active, enthusiastic, and show an overall improvement in literacy skills. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that educators in early childhood education (PAUD) use letter block media as an effective learning tool.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Lingkungan fisik, sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi menyediakan konteks nyata yang mendukung pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep IPS secara konkret. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi literatur dan observasi terhadap praktik pembelajaran di MI Darussalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan dapat meningkatkan minat, partisipasi aktif, serta keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi siswa. Guru berperan penting dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan melalui pendekatan kontekstual dan konstruktivisme. Kendala yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan kompetensi guru, fasilitas, dan waktu pelaksanaan. Namun, tantangan tersebut dapat diatasi melalui pelatihan, dukungan sekolah, dan integrasi teknologi. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran IPS yang mengaitkan materi dengan realitas lingkungan siswa mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang bermakna, relevan, dan menyenangkan. Abstract

This study examines Business English acquisition patterns among employees at Pelindo, Indonesia's largest port operator, focusing on workplace communication challenges in an increasingly globalized maritime industry. Through qualitative case study methodology, the research surveyed 50 employees across various divisions using a mixed-method questionnaire combining Likert-scale assessments and open-ended responses. Results indicate high employee motivation for Business English acquisition (mean 3.50) driven by professional demands, yet reveal significant challenges in legal terminology comprehension (mean 2.95) and complex business document creation (mean 3.20). The study found that technology integration in learning processes (mean 3.80) and case-study approaches (mean 3.50) significantly enhance Business English acquisition effectiveness. These findings contribute to understanding specialized language acquisition in state-owned enterprises, particularly in maritime logistics contexts, and suggest the need for integrated learning approaches combining formal instruction with authentic business communication practice. The research implications are particularly relevant for developing targeted language training programs in international port operations contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the use of digital technology can support the development of empathy and social awareness among children in orphanages. The research was conducted at Sejati Muhammadiyah Orphanage in Makassar using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that digital media plays a significant role as a tool for social education, a means of expressing empathy, and a platform for children's virtual participation in humanitarian activities. The children demonstrated increased social awareness through the consumption of inspirational content and active involvement in digital-based social campaigns. Furthermore, empowerment through digital skills training and ethical media guidance helped strengthen empathy and social responsibility values. The study concludes that the wise and guided use of technology within the orphanage environment can be an effective strategy for fostering social character among youth in the digital era.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of prolonged exposure to English-language YouTube videos on the disruption of mother tongue development among young children in Indonesia. Set within the growing relevance of digital media in early language acquisition, this qualitative research adopts a case study design involving seven children aged 3 to 7 years who are currently receiving speech therapy in Bandung. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with parents and non-participant observations of the children's communicative behaviors. Findings indicate a recurring pattern of language interference, including frequent code-mixing between English and Bahasa Indonesia, limited mastery of native vocabulary, and dependence on non-verbal cues such as gestures or incomplete phrases. For instance, several children were observed substituting basic Indonesian words with English counterparts (e.g., “open” instead of buka), or forming syntactically incorrect sentences influenced by English structure. These disruptions are closely associated with the predominance of English-language input during daily screen time and a marked reduction in native language interaction—particularly during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The study underscores an imbalance in bilingual exposure, wherein English increasingly replaces Bahasa Indonesia in daily expression, potentially contributing to expressive language delays and syntactic confusion. To address these challenges, the research recommends increased parental mediation, purposeful mother tongue engagement at home, and implementation of media literacy programs tailored to early childhood contexts. While the study provides valuable insights into media-induced linguistic shifts in multilingual settings, it is limited by its small sample size and specific geographic focus. Future research should explore longitudinal outcomes and include diverse socio-cultural contexts to enhance generalizability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) Mengetahui analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (2) Menyusun design soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) (3) Mengetahui kevalidan dan praktikalitas soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (4) Mengetahui efektifitas pengembangan soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN 51 Sumarambu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri atas 5 tahapan yaitu: (1)analyze, (2)design, (3)development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluate. Berdasarkan tahap analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan peneliti di SDN 51 Sumarambu, maka dibutuhkan sebuah inovasi baru terutama dalam bahan ajar berbentuk buku, dalam hal ini dikembangkan Soal Evaluasi Berbasis Hots Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IV. Selanjutnya Soal Evaluasi Berbasis Hots divalidasi oleh tiga orang ahli sebagai validator diantaranya ahli bahasa 85% (sangat valid), ahli materi 92% (sangat valid) dan ahli desain 81% (sangat valid). Hasil yang sangat memuaskan dan positif dengan nilai akhir yang diperoleh melalui uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik sebesar 88.7% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan 89,5% dari guru kelas IV dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kemudian untuk hasil efektifitas dengan melibatkan 18 peserta didik dengan hasil 73% (efektif). Soal evaluasi berbasi HOTS yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and learning outcomes of ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 26 Makassar in understanding the content of short stories through the application of the Jigsaw learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation to observe student activities and involvement during the learning process, tests conducted before and after learning to measure the increase in student understanding of the content of short stories, questionnaires to collect student responses regarding the effectiveness of the Jigsaw model application, and documentation as complementary data to support the validity of the research results. Data from observations, questionnaires, and documentation were analyzed qualitatively, while test data were analyzed quantitatively using the average value and the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) as a reference. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in students' reading ability. In cycle I, the average value of student learning outcomes was 67.67, still below the specified KKM of 75. After improvements and strengthening strategies were made in cycle II, the average value increased to 80.17. This indicates that the Jigsaw learning model is effective in improving the reading skills of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 26 Makassar, particularly in understanding the content of short stories.

Abstract

Kamboja (Adenium obesum) merupakan tanaman hias yang cukup populer di Indonesia karena bentuk bunganya yang indah dan memiliki nilai estetika tinggi. Salah satu upaya untuk memperoleh tanaman berbunga lebih cepat adalah melalui perbanyakan vegetatif dengan metode penyambungan (grafting). Teknik grafting dilakukan dengan menyambungkan batang bawah dan batang atas sehingga membentuk individu baru. Keberhasilan grafting sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor fisiologis tanaman, terutama peran hormon pertumbuhan. Salah satu cara meningkatkan aktivitas hormon adalah dengan pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT) seperti giberelin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi giberelin terhadap keberhasilan grafting tanaman kamboja. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Perumahan Layana Indah, Kecamatan Mantikulore, Kota Palu, Sulawesi Tengah dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) enam perlakuan: K0 (kontrol), K1 (50 ppm), K2 (100 ppm), K3 (150 ppm), K4 (200 ppm), dan K5 (250 ppm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa giberelin berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap panjang tunas, jumlah daun, maupun diameter tunas. Konsentrasi terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan K4 (200 ppm).

Abstract

The problem solved through this research is the speaking difficulties of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 028 Lumban Dolok in the 2024-2025 academic year in expressing ideas in a formal or official atmosphere. The method used in this research was a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design. The reason for using this method and design is that the research data are in qualitative form and are conducted in a classroom context. The aim of this action research is to improve the conditions of professional learning practices in the classroom. The subjects in this research were 17 class V students of SD Negeri 028 Lumban Dolok for the 2024-2025 academic year, consisting of nine men and eight women. The results of actions in learning to speak using image media are very effective for mastering the areas of vocabulary, language structure, the relationship between topics and content, content structure, courage, and students' speaking fluency. Based on the results of the actions from cycles I to III, the increase was between 20% and 40%. Finally, the use of image media in learning can be performed in two ways: selecting images as materials and methods as tools. There are techniques for using media that are attached to and given to students. The selection of images was adjusted according to the student's character, and four images were sufficient. Even though the use of images has been quite successful, there are still obstacles. The obstacle experienced by students is that if they are asked to use good and correct Indonesians in telling stories, they still lack mastery
