Abstract

The use of figures of speech and diction in this anthology is also an important element that makes it a work deserving of deeper study. Figures of speech are the use of the richness of language with certain varieties to achieve effects. This study aims to describe the figures of speech and diction employed in the anthology of geguritan Kawula Mung Saderma by Jadid Al Farisy. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are the Listening technique and the note-taking technique. The data analysis techniques used are: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study can be concluded that by studying the 6 selected geguritan, namely Jampining Ati, Sekaring Sonya, Jimat Abang Putih, Kusumaning Nagri, Lir Gumanti, Setija, from the 6 geguritan it was found that the use of figures of speech in these geguritan is diverse, including metaphor, personification, paradox and hyperbole, symbolic and repetition which strengthen the aesthetics and meaning in each verse. The diction used by the poet includes denotation, connotation, abstract words, concrete words and general words. This shows the accuracy in choosing words that reflect the depth of meaning and the strong nuances of Javanese culture. This study can be developed by analyzing other stylistic aspects, such as phonology, syntax, or discourse in Geguritan Kawula Mung Saderma.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of applying the mind mapping method in learning to write geguritan for students of class IX A at SMP Negeri 04 Bumiayu, Brebes Regency. This is motivated by the continued lack of interest among many students in learning to write geguritan, which is partly due to the limited variety of learning methods used. Therefore, the application of the mind mapping method is needed to facilitate students in participating in learning, so that later students can develop their ideas and creativity, especially when participating in learning to write geguritan. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach while the design in this study was a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-shot study involving only one group without the need for sampling. The data of this study were collected through questionnaires (questionnaires) accompanied by documentation. While the data collection techniques in this study used test and non-test techniques. The results of this study are: 1) in the knowledge aspect competency test, a percentage of 100% or a total of 24 students obtained a complete score above the KKM. From this acquisition, the final average score was 85.58. 2) in the skill aspect competency test also obtained a percentage of 92% or 22 students whose scores had reached above the KKM. From this acquisition, the final average score was 80.25 in the skill aspect. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, learning to write geguritan can provide a considerable influence on learning activities to write geguritan in class IXA SMP Negeri 04 Bumiayu Brebes Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of applying the Canva application media in learning to write advertising texts for class XI students at SMA Mataram Semarang. This is motivated by the fact that there are still some students who still have difficulty expressing ideas, expressing their creativity, lack of vocabulary and students' low understanding of writing advertising texts using Javanese, so that students are less active in learning to write. In this research, a descriptive quantitative approach was used, while the design used in this research was a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-shot case study involving only one group without having to take samples. The data obtained in this research was collected through questionnaires accompanied by documentation.The results of this research are: 1) in the knowledge aspect competency test, a percentage of 87% or 14 students got a complete score above the KKM and 2 children or 13% got an incomplete score. From these results, the final average value was 86.25. 2) in the skills aspect of the competency test, a percentage of 94% or 15 students received a complete score and 6%, with 1 child getting an incomplete score. From the data processing, a final average score of 90.5 was obtained in the skills aspect. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, learning to write advertising texts using the Canva application as a medium has quite a big influence on the learning activities of writing advertising texts for class XI.2 students at Mataram High School, Semarang.

Abstract

Tembang macapat, as a literary and cultural heritage of Javanese civilization, faces serious threats due to cultural value shifts in the modernization era. This study aims to analyze the existence of tembang macapat among the younger generation, identify factors causing its functional shift, and formulate revitalization strategies. The study employs a descriptive-qualitative approach with digital ethnography and content analysis methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 informants (macapat artists, educators, and young people), participatory observation in arts communities, and tembang text documentation. Analysis was conducted using source and method triangulation. The results reveal three key findings: (1) the existence of tembang macapat among young people (aged 13-25) has declined significantly, with only 12% of respondents able to perform the tembang correctly; (2) the functional shift of tembang macapat from a moral education medium to a passive cultural artifact is triggered by digital culture dominance, weakening intergenerational transmission, and absence of relevant curriculum; (3) effective revitalization requires the integration of digital platforms, local community engagement, and local wisdom-based curriculum reform. This research contributes theoretically to ethnomusicology and cultural studies, as well as practically for education and cultural policy stakeholders.

Abstract

Macapat songs as Javanese oral literary heritage face serious pressure from social changes accelerated by globalization and digitalization. This study aims to: (1) identify and analyze the degradation process of macapat's social functions in contemporary Javanese society; (2) map resilience strategies of macapat communities in maintaining their relevance; and (3) formulate pedagogical implications for character education based on local wisdom. Employing a literary sociology approach with Ratna's (2012) literary function theory and Bourdieu's (1993) habitus-capital framework, this study applies a qualitative multi-method design combining content analysis of 11 macapat pupuh from Serat Centhini, in-depth interviews with 18 purposive informants (dalang, Javanese linguistics experts, teachers, and cultural activists), and virtual ethnography of online macapat communities. Results indicate that macapat functions have been reduced from five historical functions (entertainment, moral education, protective rituals, life cycle markers, and social cohesion) to two dominant contemporary functions (performance aesthetics and cultural identity), yet significant resilience emerges through digital neo-traditionalism movements. These findings underscore the need for macapat recontextualization in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curricula as a character education instrument.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the language style contained in the geguritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari. This research uses qualitative research, which is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words. The approach used in the research of Language Style in Geguritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari uses a stylistic approach. The data used in this study is descriptive data in the form of phrases, words, and sentences. The primary data source of the study was the geguritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari. By using secondary data sources in the form of articles, documents, books that lead to stylistic studies. This analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, done by describing the style of language in Bambang Sulanjari's Mung Sliramu geguritan. Data collection techniques with read and record techniques. The results of this study showed that in the guritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari found some stylistic usage; (1) linkage language style, (2) comparative language style, (3) purwakanthi guru swara, and (4) purwakanthi basa.

Abstract

The degradation of Macapat songs' existence among Generation Z represents an urgent cultural issue that has yet to be systematically examined through an integrative cultural ecology framework. This study aims to: (1) analyze the current existence of Macapat songs among Generation Z through a cultural ecology approach; (2) identify multidimensional factors causing degradation by constructing a new theoretical model; and (3) formulate adaptive revitalization strategies based on empirical research synthesis. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA-P protocol, involving the analysis of 27 selected primary sources from 2018-2025, analyzed using Braun Clarke's (2006) thematic analysis model and synthesized through Neville's Cultural Ecology Framework. The novelty of this research lies in three contributions: (1) the construction of the Macapat Degradation-Revitalization Model (MDRM) integrating six systemic dimensions of degradation; (2) the formulation of a tiered revitalization strategy based on cultural ecology that differentiates interventions at micro, meso, and macro levels; and (3) the identification of the digital paradox as both an opportunity and a threat not yet mapped in previous literature. The findings show that the degradation of Macapat songs is multidimensional – encompassing structural-social, pedagogical, cultural-global, technology-media, policy-institutional, and family transmission dimensions – that interact synergistically to form a cultural degradation spiral. The formulated revitalization strategies comprise six adaptive components: contextual curriculum integration, creative digitalization, creative industry collaboration, local institution strengthening, policy engineering, and family transmission revitalization. This research confirms that successful revitalization of Macapat songs requires an ecological-systemic approach that moves beyond conventional preservation toward a co-evolution of tradition and modernity.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam menilai kinerja pemerintahan desa, khususnya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan harapan masyarakat. Kualitas pelayanan aparatur desa yang baik diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kepuasan masyarakat sebagai pengguna layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan aparatur desa terhadap kepuasan masyarakat di Desa Sungai Haji Kecamatan Sungai Tabukan, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara serta untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksplanatori. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Desa Sungai Haji yang berjumlah 84 orang yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator kualitas pelayanan yang meliputi daya tanggap, kehandalan, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik pelayanan, serta indikator kepuasan masyarakat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan menggunakan pengukuran Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel Kualitas Pelayanan Aparatur Desa (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Masyarakat (Y) di Desa Sungai Haji Kecamatan Sungai Tabukan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (0,000 ˂ 0,05) dengan nilai t-statistic sebesar 25,283 yang berarti lebih besar dari t-table (2,628). Berdasarkan hasil uji nilai R-Square sebesar 0.739, yang berarti bahwa variabel Kualitas Pelayanan Aparatur Desa (X) dapat menjelaskan 73,6% variasi variabel Kepuasan Masyarakat (Y), sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator daya tanggap, kehandalan, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik pelayanan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk persepsi dan kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan publik di tingkat desa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disarankan agar pemerintah desa terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan melalui peningkatan kompetensi aparatur, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, serta evaluasi pelayanan secara berkelanjutan guna mewujudkan pelayanan publik yang efektif, efisien, dan berorientasi pada kepuasan masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar, serta upaya untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus yang melibatkan guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa kelas satu sekolah dasar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan serta divalidasi dengan triangulasi. Guru melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I, salah satunya dengan memberikan jam tambahan belajar. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, seperti belum mampu membedakan huruf, merangkai huruf menjadi suku kata dan kata, membedakan intonasi suara, mengenali huruf konsonan, serta mengeja dengan benar.Guru menggunakan cara yang lebih inovatif untuk mengajarkan siswa mengenal huruf. Mereka juga mendorong siswa untuk menjadi lebih percaya diri selama proses pembelajaran. Guru menggunakan media pendidikan yang menarik, seperti buku bergambar, buku bacalah, buku cerita kartu kata, dan media lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini secara spesifik menunjukkan bahwa hambatan membaca permulaan yang dialami siswa muncul karena kurangnya penguasaan dasar literasi seperti pengenalan fonem, pembentukan suku kata, serta kemampuan menghubungkan simbol huruf dengan bunyi. Upaya guru yang meliputi pemberian waktu belajar tambahan, penggunaan media visual, serta penerapan metode pembelajaran multisensori terbukti membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membedakan huruf, memperbaiki kelancaran membaca, dan membangun kepercayaan diri. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang terstruktur, individual, dan melibatkan berbagai media merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca termasuk ke dalam salah satu keterampilan dasar yang tak bisa ditinggalkan dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada anak di sekolah dasar. Berbagai penelitian terdahulu telah membuktikan bahwa pengaplikasian media ajar berupa kartu kata mampu mendukung siswa untuk mengenal abjad, suku kata, kata, serta meningkatkan pemahaman membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang tujuannya untuk meninjau pengaruh dari pengaplikasian media pembelajaran kartu kata terhadap keterampilan membaca anak di sekolah dasar. Studi ini menganalisis sejumlah artikel ilmiah dan hasil penelitian yang relevan dari berbagai sumber terpercaya dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir. Berdasarkan hasil telaah, dengan pengaplikasian media kartu kata secara berkelanjutan dapat membantu menambah minat belajar, memperkuat daya ingat visual, serta mempermudah siswa dalam memahami struktur kata dan kalimat. Selain itu, aktif nya siswa pada pembelajaran dengan media tersebut berperan besar bagi perkembangan kemampuan membaca permulaan secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, media ajar kartu kata dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran sederhana, menyenangkan dan efektif untuk peningkatan kemampuan membaca pada anak di bangku sekolah dasar.
