Abstract

This study investigated the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government’s role as a regional actor in international affairs. Regional governments can develop the region and affect the regional economy thanks to paradiplomacy, one of the phenomena in international relations that seeks to involve international relations actors. This research was grounded in the paradiplomacy theory proposed by Pertti Joenniemi and Alexander Sergunin. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, aiming to provide a general overview of the subject of study by using data collected in their raw form without applying any analysis and drawing any pertinent conclusions. Primary data were collected from the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government. In contrast, secondary data came from the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government’s official website and news articles discussing the research subject. Following the findings, the Government of Musi Banyuasin Regency fulfilled its role as an international relations actor by implementing paradiplomatic methods such as promoting a positive image of the region through participation in international forums, joining international organizations, and collaborating with them.

Abstract

This descriptive research aims to analyze: (1) the availability and utilization of Information System at Public Elementary School in Pekanbaru - Riau and (2) principals’ leadership at Public Elementary School in Pekanbaru - Riau. By using proportional random sampling technique, 66 school principals spread across 12 sub-districts in Pekanbaru - Riau were selected as the sample. The instrument used was a questionnaire addressed to the principals. The principals are asked to give their answers to the given questionnaire and they were free to choose one or more answers for each item based their situation and condition. The data needed are related to the principals’ view of the availability and utilization of the Information System at the school they lead and the data about the principals’ view of leadership carried out related to the functions and roles they have done. The results of the data analysis prove that: (1) the availability of Information System at school was rated positively by the principals, whether in terms of availability, management, or perceived benefits; and (2) in carrying out leadership, their roles and functions as supervisors, managers and educators occupied the highest position.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the reading ability of the Qur’an for the elderly through the simple and gradual Ummi method. providing spiritual guidance so that the elderly feel calmer, happier, and more enthusiastic in worship; creating an inclusive learning environment at LKSLU, so that the elderly feel valued and remain productive by fostering a lifelong learning spirit among senior citizens; foster social concern among the surrounding community for the spiritual needs of the elderly; and strengthen religious values and a sense of togetherness among students, LKSLU administrators, the elderly, and the surrounding community. The implementation method of this service includes counseling, practice, and individual mentoring. The evaluation instruments used were the Participant Attendance List, Qur'an Reading Test, Participant Satisfaction Questionnaire, Facilitator Observation, and Activity Documentation, which were analyzed descriptively. The results of this service show an increase in the knowledge and understanding of the elderly about the methods of learning the Quran, making it easy; an improvement in the students' skills in reading the Quran. This can be seen from the fact that most participants are able to improve their ability to correctly read the Arabic letters; participants who previously only knew the basic letters can now read short surahs; the elderly feel more enthusiastic about participating in religious activities at LKSLU Al Athar; a good emotional relationship is established between students, administrators, and participants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of single mothers as heads of families in Pantai Cermin Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, including the obstacles they face and the Islamic legal perspective on this role. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation studies with five informants from two single-parent families. Theresults show that single mothers carry out dual roles as breadwinners, decision-makers, household managers, and educators. The obstacles they face include economic constraints, time management difficulties, physical and mental exhaustion, and low social support. From an Islamic legal perspective, the role of mothers as heads of families in emergencies is permissible as long as it iscarried out responsibly and aimed at meeting the family's needs. Therefore, this study concludes that despite facing various challenges, single mothers can still carry out their roles effectively through perseverance, adaptability, and support from Islamic values that emphasize family welfare.

Abstract

This study examines the application and effectiveness of the restorative justice approach in resolving divorce cases due to Domestic Violence (KDRT) in the Stabat Religious Court. The problem of the research departs from the still dominant formalistic legal approach that tends to be oriented towards the termination of legal relations, without providing optimal recovery for victims of domestic violence. This study aims to analyze the form of restorative justice implementation, assess its effectiveness, and identify normative, structural, and cultural barriers in its implementation. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation of the mediation process, case documentation studies, and in-depth interviews with mediator judges, judicial officials, religious leaders, and parties to the case. The results of the study show that the restorative justice approach in the Stabat Religious Court is applied through a mediation mechanism that emphasizes dialogue, reconciliation, and the restoration of social relations. The effectiveness of this approach is reflected in the achievement of the restoration of the rights and dignity of the victims, changes in the attitude of the perpetrators through a spiritual approach, and conformity with the local wisdom values of the Lalat community. Although it still faces obstacles in the form of limitations in the form of special regulations and the influence of patriarchal culture, restorative justice has been proven to be able to reduce conflict and provide a sense of substantive justice for victims

Abstract

Pernikahan merupakan sunnah nabi muhammad SAW dan institusi sakral yang bertujuan mewujudkan keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah. Dalam praktiknya , faktor kesehatan menjadi aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan, terutama ketika salah satu calon pasangan mengidap penyakit menular yang berpotensi menimbulkan mudharat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pandangan fiqh tentang relasi pernikahan dan kesehatan, menjelaskan batasan syariat dalam kondiri risiko kesehatan, serta meninjau konsep maslahah terhadap pernikahan bagi pasangan pengidap penyakit menular.  Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-analitik melalui telaah terhadap literatur fiqh, kaidah ushul fiqih, serta referensi medis terkait penyakit menular. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa fiqh memandang kesehatan sebagai faktor prioritas dalam pernikahan guna mencegah bahaya yang dapat mengancam keselematan pasangan. Penyakit menular yang berbahaya dapat melahirkan hak khiyar bagi pihak yang dirugikan karena termasuk kategori ad-darar al-am  (bahaya umum). Dari perspektif maslahah, pencegahan pernikahan dalam kondisi risiko tinggi penularan sejalan dengan kaidah “dar’u al-mafasid muqoddam ‘ala jalb al-masalih”, yakni mendahulukan pencegahan kerusakan daripada meraih kemaslahatan . secara implikatif, pertimbangan kesehatan dalam pernikahan merupakan bagian dari upaya menjaga jiwa (hifz al-nafs) dalam maqashid al-syariah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effect of of price perception, social media marketing, and brand image on the decision to stay at Le Meridien Hotel Jakarta. This research employs an accidental sampling technique, where respondents were selected based on individuals who happened to be at the lodging location and were willing to provide information regarding their decision in choosing a place to stay. In line with the descriptive quantitative approach used in this study, a survey method was employed by distributing questionnaires to consumers. The survey was conducted using structured questionnaires to collect data and to analyze the relationships among the hypotheses in this research model using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 100 hotel guests who were planning to stay. Based on the t-test, it was found that brand image does not have a significant effect on the decision to stay, while the variables of price perception and social media marketing each have a positive and significant partial effect on the decision to stay. The F-test results show that price perception, social media marketing, and brand image simultaneously have a significant effect on the decision to stay

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to explore and describe the integrated community empowerment of the traditional performing arts randai sanggar talago rindang Jorong Piobang, Kanagarian Piobang, Payakumbuh District. This study uses a naturalistic method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show the integrated community empowerment of the traditional performing arts randai sanggar talago rindang, first seen from enabling (facilitating), that the infrastructure is sufficient. Second empowering (empowering) the promotion of this studio to the wider community and also collaborating with other partners. Third protecting (protecting cultural preservation) with village children from elementary school to high school to become a forum and foster Minangkabau cultural arts skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menggambarkan pemberdayaan masyarakat terintegrasi seni pertunjukan tradisional randai sanggar talago rindang  Jorong Piobang, Kanagarian Piobang, Kecamatan Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode naturalistik dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pemberdayaan masyarakat terintegrasi seni pertunjukan tradisional randai sanggar talago rindang  , pertama dilihat dari  enabling (memfasilitasi), bahwa sarana prasarana yang tercukupi. Kedua empowering (memberdayakan) promosi sanggar ini kemasyarakat luas dan juga berkerja sama dengan mitra lain. Ketiga protecting  (melindungi pelestarian budaya)  dengan anak nagari mulai dari sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas untuk menjadi wadah sekaligus membina keterampilan seni budaya minangkabau.

Abstract

Abstract:  This study aims to find out how the implementation of caregiving services for children at the Rumah Bahagia Pelita Kasih Orphanage in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive type of research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the Rumah Bahagia Pelita Kasih Orphanage, Pekanbaru, where data collection was carried out using documentation, observation and interviews involving 3 (three) caregivers as core informants and 3 (three) foster children as supporting informants. Furthermore, to search and organize the data, data analysis techniques were used in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the interaction between caregivers and children is warm and caring, so that children feel comfortable and dare to tell stories. Activities carried out at the orphanage include learning activities, worship, and skills that are adjusted to the age and interests of children. The satisfaction of foster children is reflected in the pleasant atmosphere, cheerful faces, and their enthusiasm in participating in activities. These findings prove that caregivers have carried out their roles well in meeting the physical and emotional needs of foster children. Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat Mengetahui bagaimana Pelaksanan Pelayanan Pengasuh Terhadap Anak di Panti Asuhan Rumah Bahagia Pelita Kasih Kec. Payung Sekaki, Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Rumah Bahagia Pelita Kasih, Pekanbaru yang pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara dengan melibatkan 3 (tiga) orang pengasuh sebagai informan inti dan 3 (tiga) orang anak asuh sebagai informan pendukung. Seterusnya untuk mencari dan menyusun data digunakan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yakni interaksi antara pengasuh dan anak berlangsung hangat dan penuh perhatian, sehingga anak merasa nyaman dan berani bercerita. Aktivitas yang dilakukan di panti mencakup kegiatan belajar, ibadah, dan keterampilan yang disesuaikan dengan usia serta minat anak. Kepuasan anak asuh tercermin dari suasana yang menyenangkan, wajah ceria, serta semangat mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pengasuh telah menjalankan perannya dengan baik dalam memenuhi kebutuhan fisik maupun emosional anak asuh.

Abstract

Scientific literacy in the context of global warming remains a persistent challenge in science learning, particularly in students’ ability to interpret data and use evidence for decision-making in real-world contexts. This study aimed to examine the effect of a SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society)-oriented Guided Inquiry Learning model supported by infographic-based multimedia on students’ scientific literacy. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 52 Surabaya with 30 seventh-grade students during the 2025/2026 academic year on the topic of global warming. A pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was employed to investigate changes in students’ scientific literacy before and after the implementation of the learning model. The intervention was carried out over four weeks in eight instructional sessions. Data were collected through validated multiple-choice and essay-based pretests and posttests and were analyzed using N-Gain and paired-samples t-test. The results indicated a statistically significant improvement in students’ scientific literacy (p < .05) with an average N-gain of 0.53 (medium category). These findings suggest that integrating SETS-oriented guided inquiry learning with infographic-based multimedia can enhance students’ engagement and support the development of scientific literacy, particularly in understanding complex environmental issues such as global warming.
