Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the groundwater aquifer layer using the resistivity method in Puaringan, Pelangan Village, West Lombok. The aquifer layer is a layer of rock that has the ability to store groundwater well. This layer also tends to have high porosity so that fluid/water is trapped in the layer. The resistivity method used is vertical electric sounding (VES). This method is effective in detecting the subsurface vertically. Data acquisition was carried out using two sounding points (S1 and S2). Sounding points S1 and S2 were processed using IP2WIN software to produce a picture of the subsurface rock layer. The results of the S1 point study showed that the groundwater aquifer layer was at a depth of 113-126 meters identified as a sandstone layer. The results of the S2 point study showed that the groundwater aquifer layer was at a depth of 105-198 meters identified as a sandstone layer.

Abstract

This paper discusses how restorative justice is according to legal experts and the people of Tabagsel, and how it impacts preventive efforts on crime rates in South Tapanuli (Tabagsel). So to answer this problem, the author uses a qualitative method, which is to find out the impact of restorative justice in reducing crime rates or vice versa can increase crime rates.The findings from this study indicate that there are two impacts arising from this restorative justice, some are positive and some are negative. It has a negative form when RJ seems to make it easier for the law so that the perpetrators feel not afraid to commit the same crime, and vice versa has a positive impact when RJ creates intimacy between fellow perpetrators and victims so that they respect each other and are friends so they feel ashamed to do it again at another time.

Abstract

 There are several schools of legal thought in philosophy, including the Natural Law School, the Positive Law School, the Utilitarian Law School, the Historical School, and others. All schools of law have their own concepts as a basis for making laws. In its actualization, these various legal schools exist in the lives of many people, both the international community and Indonesian society. Utilitarianism places benefit as the goal of law. What is meant by usefulness is happiness. Whether a law is good or not really depends on whether the law makes humanity happy or not. This Utilitarian school was pioneered by Jeremy Bentham (1748 – 1832), a philosopher, jurist economist and legal reformer. Bentham was able to weave the "thread" of the principle of utility into a broad ethical and legal doctrine known as utilitarianism. A law can only be recognized as law if it provides the greatest benefit to the greatest number of people. This principle was put forward by Bentham in his work Introduction to the Principles of Morals and Legislation (1789), which stated that law aims at "the greatest happiness for the greatest number". Lawmakers in drafting laws must involve looking for ways to realize "good". Lawmakers must take into account the fact that the actions they wish to prevent are “bad” or “criminal.”

Abstract

The increase in vehicle ownership number will affect the increase in traffic flow, which will usually result in congestion on the road network. This phenomenon causes vehicles to tend to travel close to one another (platoon). Characteristics used in describing the platoon phenomenon are the distance between vehicles (headway), average speed, and the number of vehicles in the platoon. This study is to analyzes the effect of variations in the leader and platoon length on vehicle speed. This research was conducted on Padang – Bukittinggi Road. Based on the Decree of the Minister of PUPR No: 248/KPTS/M/2015, Padang - Bukittinggi Road is categorized as a primary arterial road. This research used the primary data, a field survey, by recording vehicle traffic flow (traffic platoon) for two days. A distance of 50 meters is taken to determine the speed, and the time is measured with a stop program. The average headway on weekdays is 1.32 seconds and on holidays is 1.47 seconds. The size of the platoon and the type of platoon leader have a significant effect on the average speed of the vehicle in the platoon if the headway is  ≤ 2 seconds. At the addition of one vehicle in the platoon, which can change the vehicle's average speed, follows the equation y = -4.30x + 67.09.

Abstract

The prohibition of marriage between first cousins by the community in the village does not include women who are forbidden to marry. However, there are strong customary laws that have been passed down from generation to generation by ancestors that prohibit marriage between first cousins. This is due to strong family ties and concerns that the offspring will suffer from severe physical and mental disabilities. Using a descriptive qualitative research method with an empirical legal approach, the data analysis used empirical methods such as interviews, field notes, and other personal documents. The primary data sources were ninik mamak, buya/ustadz, and wali nagari. Meanwhile, the secondary data sources were theses, journals, books, and other materials related to the discussion. The Rumbai River community's understanding of the prohibition against marrying cousins from the same mother is due to several reasons, namely: because it has become a rule or custom in the area; to avoid conflict between communities within the clan; and to avoid unwanted genetic similarities. The prohibition against marrying first cousins is a deeply ingrained custom or culture. If someone is found to have married a first cousin, they will be expelled from the community. From an Islamic legal perspective, marrying a cousin is not prohibited, as they are not considered mahram or people who are forbidden to marry. However, it is also important to note that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recommended that Muslims marry people who are not too closely related. This recommendation may be intended to expand family ties and avoid the possibility of breastfeeding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Jasa Promosi dan Desain terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan Pada CV. Arya Advertaising Di Kota Medan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pelanggan Pada CV. Arya Advertaising Di Kota Medan. Sampel pada penelitian ini bejumlah 60 orang yang dilakukan dengan metode Convenience Sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Jasa Promosi berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan Pada CV. Arya Advertaising Di Kota Medan, dengan t hitung (5,132) > t tabel (2,002) dan nilai sig (0,000) < 0,05 (2) Desain berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan Pada CV. Arya Advertaising Di Kota Medan, dengan t hitung (3,671) > t tabel (2,002) dan nilai sig (0,001) < 0,05 (3) Jasa Promosi dan Desain berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan Pada CV. Abstract

Management of Water Resources in irrigation areas is a vital aspect in supporting food security and community welfare. The Kelingi Tugumulyo Irrigation Area, located in Musi Rawas Regency and Lubuk Linggau City, is one of the important irrigation areas in South Sumatra. This area serves not only as a rice production center, but also as a location for the development of heavy-water pond fish farming. However, differences in interests between rice farmers and fish farmers often trigger water use conflicts. This study aims to identify the dynamics of water use conflicts, assess the role of local institutions, and formulate sustainable policy solutions. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with the support of quantitative data from BPS, BBWs Sumatra VIII, and field surveys. The results showed that the conflict was triggered by imbalances in water distribution, weak regulation, low compliance with water utilization permits, and institutional helplessness of farmers (P3A). The impact of the conflict is a decrease in rice harvest area, land conversion to non-rice sector, as well as socio-economic inequality among water user groups. This study recommends strengthening regulation, revitalization of P3A/GP3A institutions, integration of cropping patterns and fish farming, as well as the application of water-efficient irrigation technology.

Abstract

Teknologi saat ini terus berkembang pesat dan manfaat penggunaan internet dirasakan oleh semua kalangan, khususnya untuk aktivitas Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam kegiatan penelitian ini mitra kami adalah kelompok usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (KUBE UMKM) di wilayah desa ciwidey yang bergerak di bidang produksi dan perdagangan makanan kemasan di kabupaten bandung. Sebagai mitra produsen umkm yang berada di Kabupaten Bandung ini sudah ada sejak lama dan berlangsung turun temurun. Namun, kegiatan pemasaran masih tradisional. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pelatihan tentang pentingnya menggunakan digital marketing sehingga sistem pemasaran mereka dapat lebih luas jangkauannya, efektif, terukur, tertarget dan lebih efisien biaya nya dapat mendukung kegiatan penjualan dengan lebih baik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga membantu pelaku usaha untuk membuat akun bisnis di media digital (yaitu Google Business, Market Place, dan Instagram), serta cara mengoptimalkan dan mengelola media digital tersebut. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah dilatih dan didampingi sehingga dapat membuat dan mengelola akun bisnis Google, Market Place dan Instagram, artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional, dan laporan kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan berupa ceramah dan memberikan pelatihan tutorial membuat akun di media digital dan cara mengelola media digital. Dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh dari acara ini, maka direkomendasikan untuk melakukan pembinaan secara berkala dan berkesinambungan mengenai penggunaan digital marketing sebagai alternatif strategi pemasaran efektif agar dapat mencapai hasil yang terbaik dalam mendukung kegiatan pemasaran dan meningkatkan penjualan bisnis KUBE UMKM.

Abstract

The 2024 eruptions of Ruang Volcano in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, represent one of the most explosive and impactful volcanic events in the region's recent history. The eruption sequence, which commenced on April 16th and peaked with significant explosive episodes on April 17th and 30th, resulted in the evacuation of over 9,000 residents and demonstrated the volcano’s capacity for high-energy eruptive activity. This preliminary analysis of the April 30, 2024, Ruang Volcano eruption emphasises the importance of ejected materials—such as high-vesicular juvenile fragments, crystal-rich components, and megacrysts of amphibole (hornblende)—in revealing the eruption’s explosive signature. Geochemical analysis of juvenile materials indicates a basaltic andesite composition, with SiO₂ contents ranging from 53.02% to 54.27%. Petrographic examination and SEM observations reveal high vesicularity, ruptured bubble walls, and microlite-rich groundmass textures, indicative of rapid ascent and intense degassing, which facilitated efficient magma fragmentation. These features suggest that the magma underwent rapid decompression. Understanding these properties provides important clues about the mechanisms underlying the explosiveness of the Ruang eruption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the digital attendance system and leadership on employee performance, with work discipline as a mediating variable at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Pasangkayu Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The research is grounded in the growing need for bureaucratic reform, enhanced employee accountability, and the adoption of digital systems to improve work monitoring and efficiency within government institutions. The expansion of digital public administration highlights the importance of accurate, transparent, and tamper-resistant attendance systems that support reliable employee supervision. At the same time, leadership plays a crucial role in shaping behavioral commitment, strengthening compliance with organizational rules, and encouraging a productive and performance-oriented work environment. A quantitative research method was applied using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), with data collected from 142 employees through questionnaires distributed between June and July 2024. The findings reveal that both the digital attendance system and leadership exert a positive and significant influence on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through work discipline. The results further demonstrate that accurate and technology-based attendance mechanisms enhance punctuality and accountability, while effective leadership characterized by communication, role modeling, and motivation strengthens organizational engagement. This study concludes that integrating technological monitoring tools with leadership development is essential for fostering a high-performance organizational culture and advancing modernization within public sector governance. The implications suggest that policymakers should simultaneously prioritize digital infrastructure and leadership capacity-building to sustainably improve employee performance outcomes.
