Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce web-based learning using a hypermedia assisted discovery guided approach for junior high school students. The development model applied in this study is the ASSURE model. The development stage begins with analyzing the characteristics of students, then stating the learning objectives. The next stage is selecting strategies, technology, media and materials to support the achievement of predetermined learning objectives, then utilizing technology, media and materials, ensuring student participation, and the final stage is conducting evaluation and revision. The result of the development is in the form of a learning web whose activities use the guided discovery procedure and the content is presented using the hypermedia principle. Based on the results of observations, students looked excited and they were actively involved during the learning process. Students say that learning becomes more flexible because they can adjust to the time they have. Based on the response analysis, it was found that the average student gave a positive response. So it can be concluded that web-based learning with the guided discovery approach assisted by hypermedia can improve the quality of learning in junior high schools, especially in terms of student participation in learning, enthusiasm and learning flexibility.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan pembelajaran berbasis web yang menggunakan pendekatan guided discovery berbantuan hypermedia untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Model pengembangan yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ASSURE. Tahapan pengembangan dimulai dengan menganalisis karakteristik siswa, kemudian menyatakan tujuan pembelajaran. Tahap selanjutnya yaitu memilih strategi, teknologi, media dan bahan untuk mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang sudah ditentukan sebelumnya, kemudian memanfaatkan teknologi, media dan materi, memastikan partisipasi siswa, dan tahap terakhir melakukan evaluasi dan revisi. Hasil pengembangan berupa web pembelajaran yang aktivitasnya menggunakan prosedur guided discovery dan konten yang disajikan menggunakan prinsip hypermedia. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, siswa terlihat bersemangat dan mereka terlibat aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Siswa mengatakan bahwa belajar menjadi lebih fleksibel karena dapat menyesuaikan dengan waktu yang dimiliki. Berdasarkan analisis tanggapan, didapatkan hasil bahwa rata-rata siswa memberikan tanggapan yang positif. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis web dengan pendekatan guided discovery berbantuan hypermedia mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Pertama terutama dalam hal partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, semangat dan fleksibilitas belajar.

Abstract

The development of an online mobile application designed with semantic mapping flow for vocabulary learning in the context of Arabic for Specific Purposes (ASP) is accessible anytime and anywhere. It facilitates searching and learning vocabulary terms related to research methods for students majoring in Arabic Language Education (PBA) writing their theses. This research falls under the Research & Development (R&D) model, specifically the ADDIE model. Data analysis techniques involve descriptive statistical analysis. This study aims to develop an online mobile application for learning research method vocabulary in the context of ASP in higher education. The results indicate that assessments from media and content experts regarding the online mobile application received an average score of 4.54. This score suggests that the mobile application with semantic mapping flow is a suitable and effective tool for learning vocabulary in the context of ASP, despite minor revisions based on expert feedback. Feedback from 22 PBA students using the application after conducting an effectiveness test using the N-Gain test revealed that 86% of students considered the product very effective. In contrast, the remaining 14% categorized it as less effective. This is supported by an average pre-test score of 74.4 and an average post-test score of 96.8, resulting in an N-Gain value of 86%, indicating a high level of effectiveness for the developed product.

Abstract

The advancement of technology has driven the implementation of artificial intelligence-based chatbots in various fields, including education. This research investigates the impact of the presence and usage of AI-powered chatbots (Chat GPT) in the field of education, with a focus on potential benefits and drawbacks. The study employs a qualitative approach, gathering data through in-depth interviews and participatory observations in multiple educational institutions. Additionally, responses and perspectives from educators, students, and administrative staff are obtained through structured questionnaires. This research reveals that using AI-powered chatbots in education brings several benefits, such as improving the accessibility of learning materials, providing personalized learning support, and addressing individual challenges in the teaching and learning process. However, on the other hand, there are some drawbacks, including the potential replacement of essential social interactions between teachers and students and concerns regarding privacy issues and ethical use of data. Based on these findings, this study concludes that implementing AI-powered chatbots in education can provide significant benefits but also requires careful consideration of potential negative impacts. Overall, this article provides a profound understanding of how AI-based chatbots can be valuable tools in supporting the teaching and learning process while identifying aspects that need to be considered to optimize benefits and minimize risks in their usage.

Abstract

Abstract: The challenge for PAUD teachers in the 4.0 revolution era is to deal directly with the Alpha generation. Generation Alfa is the generation born in 2010 whose birth was exposed to technology. There needs to be an increase in pedagogic and technological abilities for PAUD teachers so that they can adjust the characteristics of their students. The purpose of this training activity is that teachers can apply collaborative online learning to increase technological and pedagogic knowledge. The training methods are lectures, role playing, and practice. The results of this activity were seen from the results of the pre-test and post-testt which showed that of the 30 trainees there were 3 teachers whose grades decreased while 27 teachers increased. This shows the success of this training in increasing pedagogic and technological knowledge for PAUD teachers.Abstrak: Tantangan  Guru PAUD di era revolusi 4.0 adalah berhadapan langsung dengan generasi Alfa. Generasi Alfa adalah generasi yang lahir mulai tahun 2010 yang kelahirannya terpapar teknologi. Perlu adanya peningkatan kemampuan pedagogik dan teknologi untuk guru PAUD sehingga dapat menyesuaikan karakteristik peserta didiknya. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru dapat menerapkan pembelajaran online secara kolaborasi untuk menambah pengetahuan teknologi dan pedagogik. Metode pelatihannya adalah ceramah, role playing, dan praktek. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan postest yang menunjukkan dari 30 peserta pelatihan ada 3 orang guru yang nilainya menurun sedangkan 27 guru meningkat. Hal tersebut menunjukkan keberhasilan pelatihan ini dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pedagogik dan teknologi untuk guru PAUD.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi memunculkan berbagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya pembelajaran berbasis game (game based learning). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan mobile game untuk pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dengan model penelitian pengembangan Lee dan Owen. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket. Angket di validasi terlebih dahulu oleh ahli media dan ahli materi sebelum di ujicobakan kepada siswa. Dari hasil validasi diperoleh persentase kelayakan media sebesar 98,75 persen dan kelayakan materi sebesar 81,25 persen. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan game layak dilanjutkan ke tahapan uji coba kepada siswa dan diperoleh persentase kelayakan produk sebesar 84,65 persen yang berarti game valid dan layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kosakata Bahasa Arab untuk siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar.Abstract: Technological development encourages various innovations in learning, one of them is game based learning. This research aims to develop a mobile game for learning Arabic vocabulary for elementary school students in grade 3. This research is a development research, with the development research model of Lee and Owen. The technique for collecting data is through distributing questionnaires. It was validated first by media and material experts before being tested on students. From the validation, the percentage eligibility of the media was 98.75 percent, and the feasibility of the material was 81.25 percent. These results indicate this game feasible continued trial phase for student and obtained a product eligibility percentage of 84.65 percent means that the game is valid and feasible in learning Arabic vocabulary for grade 3 elementary school students.

Abstract

Problems experienced by PAUD teachers during online learning are viewed from educational background, length of teaching and self-efficacy. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between digital literacy (LD), teaching style (GM) and self-efficacy (ED) on the capabilities of PAUD teachers (KG) during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research is quantitative using the expost facto model to determine the causal relationship between events and conditions. The sample used proportional stratified random sampling of 355 teacher respondents with more than three years of teaching experience and a diverse educational background. The instrument used was a questionnaire with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). We collected data through digital literacy questionnaire, teaching style scale, self-efficacy instrument and ECD teachers' capabilities. The study found that: 1) there is a relationship between LD and GM; 2) there is no relationship between LD and ECD KG; 3) there is a relationship between LD and ECD teachers' ED; 4) there is a relationship between GM and teachers' ED; 5) there is a relationship between GM and KG; 6) there is a relationship between ED and KG; 7) there is a relationship between LD and KG through ED; 8) there is no relationship between GM and KG through ED.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan mutu taruna, baik dalam proses pembelajaran maupun mutu lulusan, sehingga AAL mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan siap pakai dalam dinas kedinasan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 90 taruna angkatan 61 dengan data hasil tes pada saat rekrutmen sebagai X1 dan data nilai tes pada saat seleksi korps sebagai kualitas lulusan. Analisis penelitian menggunakan regresi, uji t, ANOVA dan SEM. Hasil Penelitian: 1) Secara terpisah: a) terdapat pengaruh hasil akademik terhadap prestasi akademik semester 1 dan 2. b) Tidak terdapat pengaruh tes kesehatan dan kebugaran jasmani terhadap prestasi kebugaran jasmani semester 1 dan 2. c) Ada tidak ada pengaruh antara hasil psikotes terhadap nilai kepribadian semester 1 dan 2. d) Terdapat pengaruh antara hasil akademik dan nilai ujian korps semester 1 dan 2 terhadap hasil akademik semester 3. e) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil akademik dengan nilai ujian korps semester 1 dan 2. 2 terhadap hasil akademik semester 3 sampai semester 8. f) Terdapat pengaruh tes kebugaran jasmani terhadap tes kebugaran jasmani semester 3 sampai semester 8. g) Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan nilai ujian korps terhadap nilai kepribadian semester 3 sampai semester 8. 2) Pengaruh kolektif : a) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel masukan terhadap hasil proses belajar (akademik, kesehatan jasmani dan kepribadian). b) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil proses pembelajaran dengan mutu lulusan. c) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara tes rekrutmen dengan tes korps. d) Seluruh variabel mulai dari proses rekrutmen, tes korps dan proses pembelajaran saling terintegrasi dan dapat mempengaruhi kualitas lulusan. 3) Menyajikan hasil uji beda: a) Terdapat perbedaan proses pembelajaran yang signifikan antara taruna asal Pulau Jawa dengan taruna luar Pulau Jawa. b) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam proses pembelajaran antara taruna SMA Taruna Nusantara dengan SMA lainnya. c) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil proses pembelajaran dengan hasil tes penentuan korps.

Abstract

Utilizing advanced learning technologies, such as data analysis and artificial intelligence, teachers can identify student learning patterns, anticipate possible difficulties, and provide specific additional support. For example, by analyzing students' engagement with online learning platforms, teachers can tailor interventions to address individual learning needs, leading to more effective learning outcomes. Moreover, personalized learning in a digital environment goes beyond the delivery of content; it involves fostering 21st century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving. Research has shown that integrating technology into project-based learning activities can significantly enhance students' ability to develop these skills. By optimizing the potential of personalized learning approaches in a digital environment, educators can ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to develop the skills necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Abstract

This article discusses ontology design for modern learning environments and modern pedagogy using Protégé software. Library research methodology is used to formulate an ontology that reflects the structure, relationships and properties of modern learning entities. This ontology serves as a formal representation that allows a better understanding of the essential elements in modern learning and the relationships between them. The ontology approach provides a clear framework for designing and developing adaptive and responsive learning environments, as well as for designing teaching strategies that suit individual needs. By using Protégé, researchers can systematically describe key concepts in modern learning, including collaborative learning methods, technology integration, and personalized learning. The results show that the resulting ontology can be a useful tool for curriculum developers and teachers to design learning experiences that are more effective and relevant to current demands.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the mobile application with a gamification approach for elementary school mathematics learning. The mobile application is designed as an interactive and enjoyable learning tool to help students understand mathematical concepts. The gamification approach is used to enhance student motivation in learning mathematics through engaging game elements. The development process of the mobile application involves various features, such as learning materials, games, educational videos, and guides. The application was tested using black box testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The research results indicate that the mobile application received positive responses from both teachers and students. The application assists teachers in teaching mathematics and improves students' understanding of the subject. With a high n-gain value (0.76, in the high category) from the pretest to post test, the mobile application has proven to be effective in enhancing students' understanding of mathematics. These research findings confirm that the development of the mobile application with a gamification approach is a positive step towards improving the quality of mathematics education at the elementary school level. Thus, the mobile application can be a valuable tool in supporting more interactive and effective mathematics learning at the elementary school level.
