Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Keterampilan guru menggunakan variasi dalam proses pembelajaran PPKn di Kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Bangkala. (2) Faktor penghambat guru dalam menggunakan variasi pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran PPKn di Kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Bangkala. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data terkait dengan tujuan penelitian ini, maka digunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Jumlah informan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 orang yang terdidi dari 1 Guru PPKn Kelas VIII, Kepala Sekolah dan 3 orang siswa Kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Bangkala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keterampilan guru menggunakan variasi dalam proses pembelajaran telah diterapkan oleh guru PPKn Kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Bangkala, yang meliputi variasi gaya mengajar (berupa variasi suara, pemusatan perhatian, menggunakan kontak pandang, gerakan badan dan mimik wajah, kesenyapan dan pergantian posisi), variasi penggunaan media dan alat pengajaran (berupa media dan alat pengajaran yang dapat dilihat, didengar dan diraba, seperti handphone dan video pembelajaran) dan variasi pola interaksi (berupa variasi pola guru-murid (komunikasi sebagai aksi/satu arah), pola guru-murid-guru (komunikasi sebagai interaksi) dan pola guru-murid, murid-murid (komunikasi multi arah)). (2) Faktor penghambat guru dalam menggunakan variasi pembelajaran dapat dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu faktor internal dan ekternal. Faktor internal berasal dari dalam diri guru yang meliputi kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan guru tentang metode pengajaran, kurangnya manajeman waktu guru dan kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran. Sedangkan faktor eksternal berasal dari lingukungan sekitar yang meliputi perbedaan tingkat kemampuan peserta didik, kurangnya rasa percaya diri peserta didik dan kurangnya perhatian siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Performance of Civil Servants Reviewed from the Perspective of State Administrative Law at the Ariang Sub-district Office, Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. Thesis, Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Department of Civic Education and Business Law, Faculty of Social and Law Sciences, Makassar State University, Supervised by Imam Suyitno and Herman. This research aims to determine: (1) The performance of civil servants at the Ariang Sub-district Office in Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency, reviewed from the perspective of legal certainty. (2) The performance of civil servants at the Ariang Sub-district Office in Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency, reviewed from the perspective of justice and equality. (3) Obstacles in the application of the principles of legal certainty and justice and equality at the Ariang Sub-district Office in Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The sources of this research are the Sub-district head and employees. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity checking is done using data source triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that: (1) The performance of Civil Servants at the Ariang Sub-district Office in Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency, is considered good from the perspective of legal certainty. Complete legal documents, consistency in the application of administrative legal procedures, and the level of compliance of Civil Servants with applicable legal regulations are the main indicators showing the quality of ASN's performance is quite good. (2) The performance of Civil Servants at the Ariang Sub-district Office in Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency, can be considered good from the perspective of justice and equality. ASN has shown consistency in providing fair services to all residents without discrimination, as well as openness to inputs and aspirations of the community in policy development. (3) The Ariang Sub-district Office in Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency, faces obstacles in applying the principles of legal certainty and justice and equality. The main focus is on the clarity and openness of legal information that is not accessed by the community, as well as consistency in empowering community participation. Improvement efforts include providing easily accessible legal information, increasing public legal awareness, and better coordination among related institutions. The hope is that with these steps, obstacles in the application of legal and justice principles can be overcome for better services to the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (2) Bentuk-bentuk perundungan yang terjadi di SMP Islam Terpadu Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar (3) Andil projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dalam mencegah perundungan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber informan peneliti adalah 5 orang guru dan 10 orang siswa SMP Islam Terpadu Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Perencanaan proyek P5 melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu merencanakan alokasi waktu dan profil dimensi, membentuk tim fasilitator, menentukan tema. Eksekusi proyek P5 menggunakan empat alur yaitu orientasi, kontekstualisasi, aksi, refleksi dan tindak lanjut. Evaluasi proyek P5 dilakukan secara formatif dan partisipatif, proses penekanan dan keterlibatan siswa dalam membentuk sikap positif serta mendorong terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang aman, nyaman, dan bebas dari kekerasan. (2) Bentuk-bentuk perundungan yang ditemukan di sekolah meliputi perundungan verbal, relasional, dan digital (cyberbullying). (3) Projek P5 ikut andil dan penting dalam mencegah perundungan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai empati, gotong royong, toleransi, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama.

Abstract

Penggunaan media digital telah menjadi aspek krusial dalam inovasi pembelajaran, terutama dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk mahasiswa BIPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis jenis-jenis media digital yang diterapkan dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi mahasiswa BIPA selama periode 2019 hingga 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis, dengan menganalisis sepuluh artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat lima kategori utama media digital yang digunakan: aplikasi mobile (40%), platform pembelajaran online (20%), media audiovisual (20%), buku digital (10%), dan media sosial (10%). Efektivitas media digital menunjukkan hasil yang positif, dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan bahasa mencapai 75% dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna sebesar 82%. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan teknis, seperti keterbatasan akses (35%) dan kebutuhan untuk pengembangan fitur (25%). Temuan ini berkontribusi dalam pemetaan penggunaan media digital untuk pembelajaran BIPA dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This research is significant because critical thinking and scientific writing abilities are crucial for student success. The study aims to investigate the impact of using BMKII instructional materials on students' critical thinking skills in scientific writing. The research methodology involves quantitative analysis (pretest and posttest) and qualitative methods (semi-structured interviews and reflective journals). Findings indicate a significant improvement in scientific writing skills post-intervention, with the average posttest score (78.72) significantly higher than the pretest score (53.36), supported by Paired Samples T-Test statistical analysis. Interviews and reflective journals provide insights into students' perceptions of the inquiry-based approach to scientific writing, a crucial stage in BMKII. Triangulation of quantitative and qualitative findings strengthens the conclusion regarding the effectiveness of BMKII. The study suggests practical implications for instructors and acknowledges limitations, such as instructor readiness and strategies for effective research-based learning implementation. Additionally, the article outlines the stages of critical thinking involved in scientific writing, emphasizing that each stage demonstrates critical thinking abilities. This research presents strong evidence that the use of BMKII contributes to enhancing students' critical thinking skills in scientific writing and preparing students to meet the demands of the 21st-century

Abstract

This study aims to understand the publication trend and research contribution related to character education in Indonesian high school textbooks based on the Merdeka Curriculum from 2015 to 2024. Character education is crucial for student development, and textbooks play a central role. Using bibliometric analysis, the study identified 428 publications from Google Scholar and Scopus, including journal articles, proceedings, reviews, and books. Journal articles dominated with 363 publications, followed by 30 proceedings, 32 books, and three reviews. The study focused on the number of publications and the issues underlying the keyword emergence. While 2023 had the highest number of publications (75), 2018 saw the highest citations (890) and h-index (14), indicating significant influence. The highly cited study "Strategy and Implementation of Character Education in Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools" had 135 citations. Keyword analysis using VOSviewer revealed that "Indonesian textbook" was the most popular topic, particularly concerning gender representation and basic education. Despite increased productivity, recent publications need higher impact, achievable through improved research quality, appropriate journal selection, online dissemination, collaboration, and scientific community engagement. The focus on gender representation and basic education should be sharpened for inclusive teaching materials and to instill positive values early in Indonesian education. This study provides valuable insights and direction for future research and practice in character education within the Independent Curriculum framework.

Abstract

How is Foreign Language Learning Implemented Online? The Case of Indonesian Language for Foreign Speaker. Objectives: this article aims to describe the platforms commonly used in learning and teaching Indonesian for foreigners online, the problems encountered, and the solutions. Methods: the researcher employed qualitative research. In obtaining information from three resource persons who teach at the State University of Malang, an in-depth interview technique was used with the aim of obtaining comprehensive information. Findings: The results show that there are four types of digital platforms that are often used: Zoom, Google Classroom, WhatsApp, and UKBIPA. Meanwhile, the problems faced are divided into two categories: technical and substance. Meanwhile, the solution proposed by the teacher is to improve digital skills and make maximum use of authentic sources spread across various social media platforms. Conclusion: online learning using a digital platform has advantages and disadvantages, to overcome these shortcomings, collaborative efforts from various parties are needed so that foreign students can achieve communicative competence even though learning is carried out online. Keywords: BIPA, digital platform, second language.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202207

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) To find out the eight points in the practice of just and civilized human values that are practiced in the daily lives of students at SMA Negeri 1 Gowa, especially class XI MIPA 3. (2) To find out the supporting factors in the practice of values fair and civilized human values in the daily lives of class XI MIPA 3 students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from interviews with teachers and students. Checking the validity of the data uses data source triangulation techniques. The results of this research found that the practice of fair and civilized human values was well practiced by students such as; recognize and treat human beings according to their dignity, recognize equality of human rights and obligations without discrimination, have an attitude of mutual love, tolerance for each other, not be arbitrary towards others, uphold human values, like to carry out humanitarian activities and have the courage to defend truth. Fair and civilized human values are carried out through the implementation of teaching and learning activities in the classroom and outside the classroom, and the factors that support the implementation of just and civilized human values are teacher example, teaching/guidance methods and the school environment.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine (1) the efforts and strategies of anti-drug education in Civics subjects, (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors of data through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained from the research were collected and processed with qualitative data analysis. The results showed that (1) the efforts and strategies of anti-drug education in Civics subjects are the first to carry out drug counseling in this case the school cooperates with the BNN in conducting counseling on the dangers of drug use. The second is to carry out socialization related to the dangers of drug use carried out by Civics teachers in the learning process and the third is the provision of information or appeals such as posters, paintings related to the dangers of drug use. (2) Supporting factors in anti-drug education are adequate facilities such as a room for drug counseling, a library with a collection of books and materials related to drugs and interactive teaching methods. The inhibiting factors in anti-drug education are the influence of cellphones, unhealthy relationships and limited learning time.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to: (1) determine the strategies used by teachers in implementing diversity values at SMA Negeri 7 Jeneponto. (2) Knowing efforts to implement diversity values at UPT SMA Negeri 7 Jeneponto. (3) Knowing the inhibiting factors in implementing diversity values at UPT SMA Negeri 7 Jeneponto.
