Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students and learning resources in a managed environment in order to achieve certain goals that have been set. Learning is also a process of change in personality in the form of conversation, attitudes, habits, and intelligence. This change is permanent in behavior that occurs as a result of practice or experience. The learning atmosphere is certainly a lively and pleasant atmosphere that is expected. While the expected learning process is an interactive, active, and participatory process. In addition, the role of the principal is also demanded in the implementation of good learning management, that is, the principal should arrange learning objectives in an operational form, then formulate learning objectives in the form of learning products, then formulate learning objectives in the form of student behavior, then formulate standard of behavior to be achieved, then each activity in the school contains one goal, namely learning, and finally the principal should formulate learning objectives in conditions where the behavior occurs

Abstract

Teachers' awareness of work discipline is still relatively poor in schools. This study aims to determine the relationship between situational leadership and school culture with the work discipline of teachers at SDIT Al-Hijrah 2 Deli Serdang. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire involving 42 respondents, then analyzed by statistical analysis of multiple correlations, with the help of SPSS version 17.0. The results of the research and analysis of statistical data show that, partially, the situational leadership variable has an effect of 0.582, which means that there is a moderate relationship between the situational leadership variable and teacher work discipline, namely 58.2%. Furthermore, the school culture variable has an effect of 0.771, which means that 77.1% has a strong relationship between the school culture variable and the teacher's work discipline. Simultaneously, the relationship given by the school principal and school culture variables to teacher work discipline is 0.610%, which is 61%, while 39% (100% -61%) is again influenced by other variables. On this basis, it can be concluded that situational leadership and school culture have a strong relationship with the work discipline of elementary school level teachers.

Abstract

The teacher has the main role as a leader in the learning process. For this reason, teacher awareness of the importance of the profession and work motivation in improving teacher performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between professional commitment and work motivation on the performance of teachers in Medan city madrasas at the basic education level. In data analysis, this study used quantitative methods using a correlational approach, measured using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. This thesis uses a sample of 57 teachers in Madrasah Medan, Medan who were selected using the Slovin formula. The results of the study concluded that (1) there is a significant relationship between professional commitment to teacher performance, (2) there is a significant relationship between work motivation and teacher performance, and (3) there is a significant relationship between professional commitment and work motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan: 1) Merencanakan kebijakan peningkatan mutu pendidikan siswa oleh guru Madrasah Istiqomah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Desa Sei Mencirim; 2) Madrasah Istiqomah Swasta Istiqomah Sei Mencirim Program kerja guru yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bagi siswa 3) Madrasah Istiqomah Swasta Istiqomah Desa Sei Mencirim, supervisi yang dipimpin guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Desa Sei Mencirim, Kecamatan Sunggal, Madrasah Swasta Istiqomah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Swasta Istiqomah Ibtidaiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kebijakan perencanaan peningkatan mutu pendidikan siswa yang dilakukan oleh guru Madrasah Istiqomah Swasta Desa Istiqomah Sei Mencirim memerlukan beberapa pendekatan desain yang menampilkan praktik desain, yaitu; a) menganalisis kebutuhan siswa di kelas; b) menerapkan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan siswa; c) menggunakan alat; d) menentukan teknik, jenis dan strategi pengajaran; e) anggaran untuk fasilitas dan layanan untuk meningkatkan fasilitas (infrastruktur). 2) Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan siswa berdasarkan kegiatan semester mingguan dan kegiatan tahunan pada program kerja guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Istiqomah Desa Sei Mencirim yang dilakukan. Kegiatan tahunan ini terdiri dari kegiatan jangka pendek, menengah dan panjang. 3) Madrasah Istiqomah Swasta Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Kecamatan Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Guru Desa Istiqomah Sei Mencirim mengawal peningkatan kualitas pendidikan bagi siswa melalui kegiatan pelatihan atau pengembangan dalam bentuk workshop guru

Abstract

Budaya organisasi merupakan filosofi dasar organisasi yang memuat keyakinan, norma-norma dan nilai-nilai bersama yang menjadi karakteristik inti tentang bagaimana cara melakukan sesuatu dalam organisasi. Dengan hal ini, maka dibutuhkan sebuah landasan atau pedoman dalam pembentukannya agar budaya organisasi tersebut dapat terbentuk dan membentuk sumber daya manusia yang baik untuk keberhasilan tujuan organisasi. Maka dari itu, yang menjadi tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini ialah akan mengeksplorasi tentang bagaimana karakteristik budaya organisasi yang Islami dan bagaimana proses pembentukan budaya organisasi melalui nilai-nilai Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini yaitu dengan metode riset kualitatif, yaitu menekankan analisanya pada data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis yang diamati. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik budaya organisasi yang Islami dibagi menjadi enam karakteristik, yakni bekerja merupakan ibadah, bekerja dengan azas manfaat dan maslahat, bekerja dengan mengoptimalkan kemampuan akal, bekerja dengan penuh keyakinan dan optimistik, bekerja dengan mensyaratkan adanya sikap keberimbangan, dan bekerja dengan memperhatikan unsur kehalalan serta menghindari unsur yang haram (yang dilarang oleh Allah SWT). Kemudian dalam proses pembentukan budaya organisasi yang Islami dapat dilandasi dengan tiga konsep fundamental, yaitu tauhid, khalifah, dan a’dholah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang implementasi manajemen bimbingan dan konseling dalam membangun self acceptance siswa melalui layanan informasi di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Kota Binjai. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran yang mendalam tentang bagaimana manajemen bimbingan dan konseling diimplementasikan untuk membantu siswa memperoleh self acceptance, atau penerimaan diri yang positif. Dalam upaya mendapatkan data yang akurat dan komprehensif, metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan informasi. Observasi memungkinkan peneliti untuk melihat secara langsung bagaimana layanan informasi dan manajemen bimbingan dan konseling dilaksanakan di lingkungan sekolah. Wawancara dengan para guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta siswa, memberikan pandangan yang berharga tentang perspektif mereka terhadap layanan ini. Sementara itu, studi dokumentasi membantu dalam memperoleh data terkait program-program yang telah dijalankan sebelumnya, serta evaluasi dan dokumentasi hasil dari layanan yang telah diberikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan implementasi manajemen bimbingan dan konseling dalam membangun self acceptance siswa melalui layanan informasi di MAN Binjai berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari persiapan yang matang dari para guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam merancang program-program layanan yang relevan dan efektif. Mereka menyusun rencana pelaksanaan layanan dengan seksama, memastikan bahwa setiap langkah dijalankan dengan tepat dan terarah. Dalam layanan ini, guru bimbingan dan konseling berperan sebagai pendamping yang peduli, memberikan dukungan emosional, dan memberikan informasi yang relevan untuk membantu siswa meraih self acceptance yang positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengendalian Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) dalam meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di MTs Al-Ihsan Medan, kewajiban kepala madrasah dalam Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah untuk mengembangan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di MTs Al-Ihsan Medan, faktor yang mempengaruhi penghambat dan Pendukung dalam pengelolaan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) dalam menunjang sarana dan prasana pendidikan di MTs Al-Ihsan Medan Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksploratif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah swasta Al- Ihsan Jalan Jemadi No. 18.A. Pulo Brayan Darat-II. Kecamatan Medan Timur 20239. Adapun hasil penelitian hasil penelitian mengenai Pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Sarana dan Prasarana di MTs Swasta Al-Ihsan Medan yaitu; 1) Pelaksanaan administrasi dana BOS di MTs Al-Ihsan Medan selama masa peredaran dan dana BOS tidak mengalami kendala serta sesuai pedoman khusus BOS untuk Madrasah; 2) Komitmen kepala sekolah pada dana bantuan oprasional Sekolah untuk membina lembaga dan kerangka kerja di MTs Al-Ihsan Medan Kepala Madrasah MTs Al-Ihsan Medan memiliki beberapa hal, yaitu persiapan, koordinasi, perolehan; 3) Pengelolaan dana BOS di MTs Al-Ihsan Medan tidak menemui kendala yang krusial.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the roles of leadership, efforts, and obstacles faced by the school principal in enhancing the competency standards of graduates at Galih Agung Private High School, Kutalimbaru. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research location is at Galih Agung Private High School, Kutalimbaru. The primary data sources for this research are the School Principal, the Vice Principal of Curriculum, the Vice Principal of Facilities and Infrastructure, and the teachers at Galih Agung Private High School, Kutalimbaru. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique involves data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and examination of data validity using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The research findings indicate that: 1) The role of the school principal's leadership in enhancing the graduates' competency at Galih Agung Private High School is demonstrated by setting a good example for educators, educational staff, and students. 2) The efforts made by the school principal in improving the graduates' competency at Galih Agung Private High School have been effective by collaborating with other campuses, consulting with psychologists, and planning special class programs. 3) The obstacles in improving the quality of education at Galih Agung Private High School include a lack of cooperation between parents and the school, where some parents are not very supportive of their children's abilities.
