Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the significant influence of organizational climate and achievement motivation on teacher performance at SMKN 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This research is quantitative research with the type of Causal Comparative Research (ex post facto). The population is the teachers of SMKN 1 Percut Sei Tuan which is the sample in this study consisting of 88 teachers. This research instrument uses a data questionnaire on organizational climate, achievement motivation, and teacher performance. Data analysis was carried out using path analysis. Organizational climate has a significant influence on teacher performance at SMKN Percut Sei Tuan by 87.6%, the better the organizational climate, the higher the teacher's performance. Achievement motivation has a significant influence on teacher performance at SMKN 1 Percut Sei Tuan by 89.2%, the higher the achievement motivation, the higher the teacher's performance. Organizational climate and achievement motivation simultaneously (together) have a significant effect on teacher performance at SMKN 1 Percut Sei Tuan by 90.9%, the better the organizational climate and the higher the achievement motivation, the higher the teacher's performance.

Abstract

Nilai keislaman pada diri setiap individu menjadi penentu akhlak dalam bersosial. Untuk itu, diperlukan pembiasaan dan rekayasa lingkungan berbasis penerapan nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi internalisasi nilai keislaman dalam proses pembentukan budaya organisasi melalui pengintegrasian ilmu di UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data (pemilahan data), penyajian data (secara sistematis), dan penarikan kesimpulan (interpretasi penulis). Data-data tersebut dinyatakan absah, setelah diuji menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pertama, integrasi nilai Islami dalam pembentukan budaya organisasi menjadi bangunan fondasi etis dan berkelanjutan dalam setiap proses organisasi, meliputi pembuatan kebijakan, pelibatan bawahan dalam pengambilan keputusan, penyusunan kode etik organisasi, rekrutmen dan seleksi berbasis Islami, hingga sistem apresiasi dan sanksi atas tindakan setiap bawahan. Kedua, penerapan nilai Islami dalam konteks organisasi berdampak signifikan bagi kinerja dan keberlanjutan organisasi, meliputi kepuasan, kesejahteraan dan keterlibatan bawahan, etika bisnis dan tanggungjawab sosial, kerjasama tim, citra organisasi, pencapaian target, tujuan dan visi organisasi, serta keberlanjutan kampus secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has become a global issue that has hit all aspects of life and government, education is two things related to people's lives and government. Education is the place where humans depend to shape civilization and progress, while the government is fully responsible for the implementation of the orders and mandates of the constitution. The purpose of this study was to determine the management implementation strategy based on the Medan City State Madrasah Aliyah during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach to the method of library research (library research). The data in this study used data obtained from books, journals, articles, tabloids, newspapers and government-owned data. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis (analyzing data, facts) from the data used in the study. The results of the study found that the CIPP strategy, input-process-output and outcome in the implementation of madrasa-based management carried out by madrasas during the covid 19 period by internalizing the situation and environment of the madrasa condition as well as assessing the strength of the organization's resources (vision, mission, goals, human resources, students, curriculum, infrastructure, financing).

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan pada tingkat sekolah dasar Islam sangat menentukan kemampuan dasar anak, di tengah degradasi moral pendidikan, sekolah dasar Islam diharapkan memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan pendidikan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dasar Islam terpadu dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan menghadapi isu degradasi moral pendidikan yang saat ini terjadi di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali lebih dalam tentang strategi yang digunakan oleh kepala sekolah dalam mengelola pendidikan dasar dengan menggunakan paradigma Islam. Sumber data diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan kepala sekolah dasar Islam terpadu Al hijrah 2 kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang. Untuk memperkuat data analis, penelitian ini juga menggunakan beberapa hasil penelitian penting lainnya guna untuk memperkuat argumentasi yang dibangun dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pentingnya strategi yang digunakan untuk mencapai pendidikan yang baik dan unggul, ada beberapa strategi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dasar Islam terpadu Al hijrah 2 yaitu; pertama, pengembangan kurikulum; kedua, peningkatan SDM tenaga pengajar; ketiga, kolaboratif pendidikan; keempat, kerjasama dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya; kelima, Inklusifitas pendidikan; dan Keenam, kesejahteraan para guru. Beberapa strategi tersebut sangat mendukung dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan pada sekolah dasar Islam terpadu Al hijrah 2 kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) the influence of extroverted personality on job satisfaction; (2) the influence of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction; (3) the influence of extroverted personality on teacher morale; (4) the influence of emotional intelligence on teacher morale; and (5) the influence of job satisfaction on teacher morale. Subject study is Medan City State Madrasah Aliyah teachers with a total sample size 184 people. Taking sample done with proportional simple random sampling. Method study nature path analysis which aims to test theory and obtain information about research. Based on testing hypothesis can be concluded: (1) exists influence straight extroverted personality with job satisfaction of 0.03 (3%); (2) exists influence direct emotional intelligence with job satisfaction of 0.05 (5%); (3) exists influence direct extroverted personality with teacher's enthusiasm for work of 0.02 (2%); (4) exists influence direct emotional intelligence with teacher's enthusiasm for work amounted to 0.07 (7%); and (5) exist direct influence job satisfaction on teacher morale as big as 0.01 (1%). The research results provide an overview of personality Extroversion, emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction influence teacher morale by 20% and the rest is determined by other circumstances.

Abstract

Culture is a set of values, beliefs, and attitudes that guide an organization's strategic goals and objectives directions. Rewards are bonuses or appreciation given to organizational members for their consistency and good performance. Of course, this encourages the involvement of organizational members and teaches organizational values ??which can result in higher growth. The research method used in this research is the library research method by concluding previous research or literature review. The purpose of this research is to determine the benefits of providing rewards for the performance of organizational members. Organizational culture is the basis or basis for the similarity of opinions and beliefs as well as practical values ??for all members of the organization. Rewards can also be said to be a culture in an organization, where they can attract employees' attention and provide information or remind them of the importance of the thing being rewarded compared to others.

Abstract

This study intends to reveal the Implementation of Madrasah Principal Management in Improving Teacher Performance at MAN Asahan. This is motivated by the findings which show that teacher performance is still far from expectations. the research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. As for the data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show that the strategy for implementing the management of the MAN Asahan madrasah principal is carried out with several strategies: (a) Delegation of authority, assigning tasks according to the abilities of the staff and the job descriptions carried out by each, (b) Making decisions, carried out by the principal by holding deliberations with the entire board of teachers and staff except in urgent situations, (c) Determining policies, the principal holds an open meeting to collect suggestions, aspirations from all his subordinates can then choose policies to be taken and then deliberated to get the best policy with the smallest risk, (d) Build communication, the principal always builds good communication with all school members and the wider community, (e) Conducts evaluations.

Abstract

School Operational Assistance (BOS) is an implementation of Law Number 20 of 2003 article 34 paragraph 2 that the central and regional governments guarantee the implementation of compulsory education without charging a fee. BOS management in madrasas needs to be carried out to support the provision of facilities and infrastructure in order to streamline teaching and learning activities and improve student learning achievement BOS management at MAS Sinar Islami Bingai Langkat Regency consists of budget planning, fund management, fund utilization, and supervision. As for some of the principles implemented by MAS Sinar Islami Bingai Langkat Regency, they include: 1) transparency (openness in managing activities), 2) accountability (the use of funds can be accounted for), 3) effectiveness (arranging finances to finance activities so that they are in accordance with planning), 4) efficiency (use of time, effort and cost with a minimum budget to get satisfactory results). This study used a descriptive qualitative method where researchers immediately went into the field to collect data objectively and naturally. The techniques for collecting data in this study used observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the research conducted at MAS Sinar Islami Bingai, Langkat Regency, are that several parties in the madrasah have prepared a funding management plan, the management of funds is in accordance with the plan that has been discussed so that it is right on target and can improve teacher welfare and improve student achievement, the use of BOS funds is in accordance with existing technical guidelines as well as implementing a trustworthy attitude, supervising the management of funds consisting of internal madrasah parties and external parties.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the Strategic Plan for Teacher Quality Improvement is implemented in Deli Insani Tanjung Morawa Integrated Islamic Private Elementary School, Deli Serdang Regency. School quality improvement is one of the tasks and functions of the school principal as a leader, which is a crucial factor in enhancing teacher quality in the school. As the highest authority in the school, the principal's leadership style and strategies significantly influence the school's progress. Planning for the utilization of school resources by the principal involves the involvement of all available resources and facilities within the school. Data collection for the research was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentary studies. The steps of data analysis included data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions from the data. To ensure data validity, techniques such as credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability were employed to examine the data. The findings of this research can be summarized as follows: 1) The Strategic Plan for Teacher Quality Improvement in the School includes educational planning, school program planning, principal's strategies, and teacher quality enhancement in the school. 2) The Implementation of the Strategic Plan for Teacher Quality Improvement in the School entails teacher supervision, involving educators in meetings, workshops, and teacher workgroup activities, as well as recognition. 3) The Supporting Factors and Obstacles of the Strategic Plan for Teacher Quality Improvement in the School involve good cooperation among all educational personnel, while obstacles include inadequate facilities and welfare.

Abstract

This study analyzes the leadership style of the Head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darul Hikmah Medan using a qualitative research approach. The findings indicate that the leadership style prioritizes teacher participation in decision-making processes; however, challenges remain regarding consistency and inclusivity. Efforts to enhance teacher motivation are evident through the provision of physical facilities and incentives, although responsiveness to achievements and feedback requires improvement. Communication is facilitated through regular meetings, yet there is a need for improved assertiveness and conflict management. Overall, continuous efforts to refine managerial processes, communication, and decision-making reflect a commitment to advancing the quality of education in this madrasah.
