Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of literacy culture on the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SDN 015 Banjar XII, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research is a quantitative study using an ex post facto design. The population in this study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SDN 015 Banjar XII, totaling 54 students. Sampling in this study was carried out using a census/total sampling technique, so the sample consisted of all 54 fourth-grade students at SDN 015 Banjar XII. The techniques and instruments used for data collection in this study were literacy culture and learning motivation questionnaires. The hypothesis test used in this research was a simple linear regression analysis, which aimed to show the relationship between literacy culture (X) and students' learning motivation (Y). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that literacy culture has a positive and significant influence on students' learning motivation. This is supported by the results of the simple linear regression analysis test, which showed a significance value (sig) of 0.000, which is smaller than the probability value of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of literacy culture (X) on students' learning motivation (Y).

Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam disiplin belajar siswa, kerna dengan binaan dan dorongan yang kuat mamopu memberikan semangat dan dorongan agar siswa semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Berhasil atau tidaknya suatu pembelajaran tergantung pada bagaimana guru memanajemen kelas siswanya. Guru tidak hanya mengenai bagaimana mendidik anak, tetapi juga harus bisa memahami karakteristik, sikap dan kebutuhan siswa agar mampu mendesain pembelajaran di dalam kelas dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam disiplin belajar siswa di SDN 48 Pekabaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komptensi pedagogik sangat perlu dimiliki oleh guru, karena akan mempengaruhi cara mengajar guru dan disiplin belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap interaksi sosial siswa kelas III di SDN 009 Bina Baru Kabupaten Kampar. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara langsung dengan rentan waktu selama 6 hari yaitu dari 26 Mei- 4 Juni 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitaif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (Case Study) dengan model penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi wali kelas III, orang tua, dan siswa, guna memperoleh data yang komprehensif dan akurat mengenai pengaruh gadget terhadap interaksi sosial anak. Kevalidan data kualitatif dilakukan pula triagulasi data, Triangulasi dapat diartikan sebagai langkah untuk memverifikasi data dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan gadget pada siswa memberikan dampak positif berupa kemudahan akses informasi, komunikasi dengan guru dan orang tua, serta mendukung pembelajaran mandiri. Namun, penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan mengurangi frekuensi interaksi verbal dan nonverbal antar siswa, menyebabkan pola interaksi sosial yang pasif dan menurunkan motivasi belajar. Indikator komunikasi mengungkap keterlibatan percakapan siswa masih terbatas, sementara komunikasi nonverbal seperti ekspresi wajah tetap penting dalam memahami lawan bicara. Kerja kelompok berperan signifikan dalam menjaga interaksi sosial meski frekuensinya rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan mengetahui validasi media Power Point interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development). Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model 4-D. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif diperoleh dari wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian analisis data kuantitatif diperoleh dari uji validitas dan analisis tingkat motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil validasi media Power Point interaktif menunjukkan kategori sangat valid. Hal ini didasarkan pada hasil penilaian dari ahli materi dengan persentase 96,88%, ahli bahasa 100%, dan ahli media 96,88 %. Selain itu, praktikalitas media Power Point interaktif tergolong praktis dan mudah digunakan baik oleh guru maupun siswa. Hal ini berdasarkan angket respon guru yang memperoleh persentase 97,3% dan respon siswa 97,5%.

Abstract

The second-grade teacher has implemented various guided reading strategies; however, these efforts have not been optimal. Students who face reading difficulties are still unable to understand simple words and sentences, thus basic reading skills remain a barrier. This study aims to describe the teacher's strategies in overcoming reading difficulties among second-grade students at SDN 01 Muara Kelantan, Siak Regency. This research is qualitative in nature with a case study approach. The data sources in this study include both primary and secondary data. Primary data involves the second-grade teacher and students, while secondary data includes test scores, photos, video recordings of observations, and teaching modules. The data collection techniques and instruments used in this study are interview guides, observation guides, and documentation review sheets. Data analysis in this study follows the Miles and Huberman model through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the teacher's strategies in overcoming reading difficulties for second-grade students at SDN 01 Muara Kelantan are carried out systematically and responsively to the students' needs. Some of the strategies employed by the teacher include using engaging and effective learning media, applying reading methods, boosting students' confidence and motivation, refraining from blaming students for their difficulties, and implementing a special remedial program.

Abstract

This paper presents the role of anti-bullying ambassadors in reducing bullying cases at SD Negeri 193 Pekanbaru. The research background is the high incidence of bullying in elementary schools—physically, verbally, and socially—which negatively impacts students' emotional and social well-being. As a preventive measure, the school implemented an anti-bullying ambassador program that involves students as agents of change to create a safe and supportive school environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consist of mentor teachers, ambassador students, and students who have been victims of bullying. The results show that anti-bullying ambassadors perform three main roles: as peer counsellors, companions to victims, and motivators who encourage students to speak up and reject bullying. This program has proven effective in reducing bullying and fostering a culture of mutual respect within the school.

Abstract

Bullying is a repetitive act intended to harm someone both mentally and physically, and this phenomenon is a serious concern in schools. One effective effort to enhance students' understanding of bullying behavior is through the role-play method. This research aims to analyze the influence of the role-play method on improving students' understanding of bullying behavior. The study employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 29 fifth-grade students from SDN 193 Pekanbaru as the sample. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively with SPSS version 25 software. The results of the paired t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 (p<0.05). This figure indicates the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1), proving a significant influence of the role-play method in enhancing students' understanding of bullying behavior. This improvement in understanding was evident from consistently higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores. The role-play method proved effective in facilitating students to internalize various perspectives, comprehend the negative impacts of bullying, and develop empathy, thereby making their understanding of this behavior more comprehensive. Thus, this study concludes that the role-play method is highly effective in improving students' understanding of bullying behavior. The implication of these findings is the importance of integrating role-play as an innovative learning strategy into the school curriculum to foster a safer and bullying-free learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the contribution of extracurricular activities of dance, pencak silat, and futsal in shaping the character of 5th grade students of SDN 42 Pekanbaru. The main focus of this research is on the aspects of discipline, responsibility, and confidence. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with students and teachers, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that regular and consistent participation in extracurricular activities has proven to be effective in fostering student discipline. This can be seen from the students' adherence to a regular training schedule, obedience to the rules set by the coach, and their commitment to completing the tasks or responsibilities given. Furthermore, this extracurricular also plays a significant role in shaping the character of responsibility. Students learn to carry out their roles, both as individuals and as part of a team, and they also begin to understand and accept the consequences of every action or decision they take. In addition, extracurriculars have a positive impact on increasing student confidence. This confidence grows through the mastery of new skills that they gradually practice, the courage to perform or compete in public, and an unyielding attitude in the face of difficulties during the training process. However, it was found that the development of this character was not completely even among all students. This study concludes that extracurricular activities, if systematically integrated with the school curriculum, can be a very effective and essential strategy in character education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of UMKM Kripik Susus "UMMU" Karanganyar actors in utilizing social media as a means of digital marketing. The background of this activity is based on the fact that business actors still rely on conventional marketing strategies and have not optimally utilized digital platforms. Through a participatory approach, this activity involves observation, interviews, training, and technical assistance in eight main aspects: digital marketing strategy, content optimization, collaboration, data analysis, customer engagement, e-commerce integration, increasing consumer trust, and employee training. The results of the activity show an increase in partners' understanding and skills in managing social media accounts, creating interesting content, and building better relationships with customers. Partners have also begun to utilize e-commerce platforms to expand their market reach actively. This program proves that hands-on practice-based assistance can have a real impact on the development of micro-businesses, as well as strengthening the role of universities in empowering the local community economy in the digital era.
