Abstract

Rendahnya standar karakter peserta didik di era digital menuntut adanya inovasi pembelajaran yang relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis implementasi model outdoor learning di SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Yogyakarta; (2) mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter yang terbentuk melalui aktivitas tersebut; dan (3) mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam pengembangan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan uji keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi metode serta sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran outdoor learning diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan berkebun, beternak, jelajah alam, dan outbound yang diintegrasikan dengan tujuan kurikulum. Aktivitas tersebut terbukti mampu menumbuhkan karakter tanggung jawab, kerja sama, kemandirian, dan kepedulian lingkungan. Dalam proses ini, guru menjalankan peran strategis sebagai perancang kegiatan, fasilitator, motivator, sekaligus evaluator untuk memastikan nilai-nilai karakter terinternalisasi dengan baik pada diri siswa.

Abstract

Despite extensive research on early childhood language development, significant gaps remain in understanding how pandemic-induced social isolation combined with excessive digital exposure affects language acquisition in developing countries. This study examines language development challenges among Indonesian children born 2020-2023 (post-COVID cohort) and implications for Sustainable Development Goal 4 achievement. Using descriptive qualitative methodology, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 24 early childhood educators and 36 parents across six Indonesian provinces, complemented by systematic classroom observations. Thematic analysis revealed three critical challenges: articulation delays affecting 73% of observed children, functional vocabulary deficits 40-50% below pre-pandemic norms, and severe communication confidence impairments. Pandemic-era social restrictions during critical language development periods, combined with unsupervised device usage exceeding four hours daily, emerged as primary determinants. However, intensive parental verbal engagement demonstrated significant protective effects. These findings challenge assumptions that digital tools adequately substitute human interaction in language learning contexts. This research contributes evidence-based frameworks for post-pandemic early childhood education policy, emphasizing oral interaction restoration as fundamental to SDG 4 implementation in Indonesia's digital transformation era.

Abstract

Abstrak: Anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki kebutuhan yang berbeda dengan anak pada umumnya. Dalam perkembangan anak berkebutuhan khusus harus mendapat dukungan. Anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah anak yang memiliki keterbatasan, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada tumbuh kembangnya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan masyarakat tentang terapi bermain dalam meningkatkan status perkembangan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Kegiatan edukasi dilakukan secara daring melalui platform zoom meeting pada tanggal 12 Juni 2024 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 35 orang. Metode evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 10 pertanyaan melalui google formulir. Hasilnya menunjukan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor sebanyak tiga poin pada aspek pengetahuan. Sedangkan aspek kemampuan, sebanyak 30 dari 35 peserta (85,7%) dapat mendemonstrasikan terapi bermain berdasarkan hasil observasi. Edukasi terapi bermain sebagai strategi yang efektif dan relevan dalam upaya meningkatkan kapasitas individu maupun kelompok dalam mendukung intervensi yang holistik bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus.Abstract: Children with special needs have different needs from children in general. In the development of children with special needs, they must receive support. Children with special needs are children who have limitations, which can have a negative impact on their growth and development. This activity aims to increase the community's knowledge and skills in play therapy to improve the developmental status of children with special needs. Educational activities were carried out online through the Zoom meeting platform on June 12, 2024, with a total of 35 participants. The evaluation method was carried out with a pre-test and post-test of 10 questions via Google Forms. The test results showed an increase in the average score of three points. Meanwhile, in terms of ability, 30 of the 35 participants (85.7%) were able to demonstrate play therapy based on observation. Play therapy education is an effective and relevant strategy in an effort to increase the capacity of individuals and groups in supporting holistic interventions for children with special needs.

Abstract

Abstrak: Remaja dalam menjalani fase transisi kehidupannya, rentan mengalami masalah psikososial. Hal tersebut dikaitkan dengan adanya dinamika interaksi sosial tanpa batasan, tuntutan akademik dan lain sebagainya, sehingga mereka perlu memiliki strategi khusus dalam menghadapi permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan boundaries management. Tujuan dari pendidikan kesehatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan remaja mengenai boundaries management dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan yaitu berupa pendidikan kesehatan yang dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian ini berjumlah 31 orang siswa kelas 9 dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pangandaran. Hasil dievaluasi secara langsung dengan metode observasi dan pertanyaan sebanyak 10 pertanyaan tertutup. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi didapatkan hasil dari skor pre-test yaitu sebanyak 69% sedangkan post-test yaitu 96%. Sehingga terlihat adanya peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 27%. Kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan ini memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja mengenai boundaries management. Rekomendasi kegiatan selanjutnya adalah integrasi pendidikan boundaries management dalam kurikulum sekolah, peningkatan kolaborasi sekolah dan orang tua, pelaksanaan program pendidikan kesehatan secara berkelanjutan, kampanye publik tentang pentingnya boundaries management, dan pengabdian lanjutan mengenai efektivitas program.Abstract: Adolescents in undergoing the transitional phase of their lives are vulnerable to psychosocial problems. This is associated with the dynamics of social interaction without boundaries, academic demands and so on, so they need to have special strategies in dealing with these problems, one of which can be done by using boundaries management. The purpose of this health education is to increase adolescents' awareness and knowledge about boundaries management in everyday life. The method used is health education which is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Participants in this service activity amounted to 31 9th grade students from junior high schools in Pangandaran Regency. The results were evaluated directly with the observation method and 10 closed questions. Based on the evaluation results, the results of the pre-test score were 69% while the post-test was 96%. So that there is an increase in pre-test and post-test scores by 27%. This health education activity has a positive impact on increasing adolescents' knowledge and understanding of boundaries management. Recommendations for further activities are the integration of boundaries management education in the school curriculum, increased collaboration between schools and parents, implementation of health education programs in a sustainable manner, public campaigns on the importance of boundaries management, and further work on the effectiveness of the program.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bullying pada anak paling sering terjadi pada lingkungan sekolah. Sekolah menjadi tempat yang paling umum dan paling sering terjadinya perundungan maupun intimidasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan anak dalam upaya mencegah perilaku bullying pada anak. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu pendidikan kesehatan dalam bentuk program jagoan cilik yang dilakukan pada 30 orang siswa sekolah dasar DTA Nurul Haq kelas 1-6. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama satu bulan yang terbagi kedalam tiga tahap kegiatan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi rencana tindak lanjut. Hasil dievaluasi secara lengasung dengan metode observasi dan pertanyaan sebanyak 10 pertanyaan tertutup. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, anak-anak antusias dalam mengikuti pendidikan kesehatan yang dikemas dalam kegiatan pengabdian dengan topik jagoan cilik, serta memahami pematerian terkait pencegahan perilaku bullying. Hasil dari pengolahan data pre-test dan post-test yang telah dilakukan mengalami peningkatan informasi pada terkait program jagoan cilik sebagai upaya petrlindungan diri dan pencegahan bulying dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari pre-test ke post-test sebesar 1,41 dengan rincian rata-rata pre-test sebesar 6,2 dan rata-rata post- test sebesar 7,63. Meskipun demikian, ketika sesi pematerian disampaikan, ada beberapa kosakata yang sulit dimengerti oleh anak. Selain itu, ketika proses pematerian, beberapa anak sibuk dan kurang fokus terhadap materi. Untuk kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya bisa berfokus pada pengembangan media yang kreatif dalam promosi kesehatan terkait bullying, agar anak mudah dimengerti dan tahu secara jelas informasi-informasi yang disampaikan.Abstract: Bullying in children most often occurs in the school environment. Schools are the most common and most frequent place for bullying and intimidation. The purpose of this activity is to increase children's understanding and ability to prevent bullying behavior in children. The method used in this activity is health education in the form of a little hero program conducted on 30 DTA Nurul Haq elementary school students in grades 1-6. The service activity was carried out for one month which was divided into three stages of activity, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation of follow-up plans. The results were evaluated directly with the observation method and direct questions as many as 10 open questions. Based on the evaluation results, children are enthusiastic in participating in health education packaged in community service activities with the topic of little heroes, and understand the presentation related to preventing bullying behavior. Questions that can be answered by children related to bullying and cyberbullying include understanding, types or forms, impacts and victims, as well as prevention and handling. However, when the presentation session was delivered, there were several vocabulary languages that were difficult for children to understand. In addition, during the presentation process, some children were busy and less focused on the material. Future service activities can focus on developing creative media in health promotion related to bullying, so that children can understand and know clearly the information conveyed.
