Abstract

This article discusses how the application of the Make a Match learning model in improving the students’ learning processes and activities in natural sciences learning for the fourth grade of the elementary school Juntinyuat in Indramayu. The research method used was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) by applying the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, which was conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and tests. The research subjects involved 21 students of Class IV. The data analysis technique applied was Milles & Huberman’s technique, which included data collection, data display, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Make a Match learning method was able to improve the students’ learning process for the fourth grade of the elementary school in Juntinyuat in natural sciences learning. It could be seen from the average value of post-test in cycle 2 was 70.95, which was greater than the average value of post-test cycle 1 was 60.47 and the average value of pretest was 53.57 with the value of 70 as the KKM value. In addition, the percentage of learning completeness in cycle 2 was 85.70% higher than in cycle 1 52.80% and pretest was 23.80% and KKM was 70%. Based on the research results, the Make a Match learning model could be tried and applied by teachers in the learning process in their classrooms, either both for science lessons or other lessons, either both in grade IV of elementary school or in other classes, and either both in elementary school or in junior high school. In addition, the researcher invites further research and recommends other teachers to be motivated to conduct research and improvements to improve the learning process in the classroom by applying various models and learning media that are good, creative, innovative, and fun for students

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts and theories of curriculum and curriculum planning for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools and madrasas in the context of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, analyzing various relevant scientific sources. Data were collected through a review of 25 scientific articles from SINTA and DOAJ indexed journals published between 2015-2023, curriculum documents, and related books. The results show that the PAI curriculum in schools and madrasas is developed based on the same national curriculum foundation but with different emphasis and contextual approaches. In madrasas, the PAI curriculum is more intensive, comprehensive, and integrative with general subjects, while in schools, PAI tends to be a separate subject with limited hours. Curriculum planning for PAI must consider aspects of needs analysis, clear objectives, relevant content, appropriate methods, and comprehensive evaluation. The success of PAI curriculum planning is highly dependent on the competence of educators, availability of learning resources, and support from the school or madrasah environment. This research implies the need for a holistic and contextual approach in PAI curriculum planning to improve the quality of religious education in Indonesia

Abstract

This paper discusses the improvement of Class IV students’ learning process at SDN Segeran Kidul Indramayu by applying the Numbered-Head-Together cooperative learning model. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model for three cycles. The research instruments include student and teacher observation sheets, multiple-choice questions, and documentation. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research imply that there was an improved learning process followed by significant learning outcomes. There was an increased percentage of students’ learning process at 51% in the first cycle. The increased percentage of students’ learning process in the second cycle was 69.38% with a significant percentage of 18.38% from the first cycle. In the third cycle, students fulfilled the learning process indicator of 84.5% with a significant percentage of 15.12% from the second cycle. This significant percentage was reinforced by the pre-test average score of 46.73 smaller than the post-test average score of 62.82 with a completeness percentage of 21.73% in the first cycle. The percentage of students’ learning outcomes in the second cycle was 47.82% with an average value of 72.17. The increased percentage was 26.09% based on the student’s learning outcomes in the first cycle. The percentage of students’ learning outcomes in the third cycle was 82.60% with an average value of 82.39. There was a significant percentage of 34.78% based on the student’s learning outcomes in the second cycle. These results have achieved the school’s minimum criteria of mastery learning indicator (KKM) at 75%. Therefore, the Numbered-Head-Together method is effective and able to increase the elementary school students’ learning process, especially at SDN Segeran Kidul Indramayu.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran lokakarya penulisan dalam pengembangan literasi sastra anak berbasis kota bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Lokakarya penulisan diselenggarakan oleh mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Islam Malang sebagai bagian dari implementasi tridharma perguruan tinggi, khususnya pada aspek pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui model writing workshop yang mengintegrasikan pemahaman konseptual sastra anak dengan praktik menulis kreatif berbasis konteks Kota Malang. Peserta kegiatan adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia yang mengikuti rangkaian sesi pemaparan materi, diskusi, praktik menulis, serta umpan balik terhadap karya. Data pengabdian diperoleh melalui instrumen pretest dan posttest, observasi partisipatif, serta analisis portofolio karya sastra anak yang dihasilkan mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap unsur sastra anak, pemanfaatan unsur lokal kota, kemampuan menyusun premis cerita, serta penerapan teknik showing dalam penulisan. Selain itu, karya mahasiswa pascalokakarya memperlihatkan perkembangan kualitas naratif yang lebih kontekstual, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik pembaca anak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa lokakarya penulisan yang diselenggarakan oleh mahasiswa magister MPBI UNISMA memiliki peran strategis dalam mengembangkan literasi sastra anak sekaligus memperkuat peran mahasiswa pascasarjana sebagai agen literasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Pengawasan merupakan suatu usaha sistematik untuk menetapkan standar pelaksanaan dengan tujuan-tujuan perencanaan, merancang sistem umpan balik, membandingkan kegiatan nyata dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya, menentukan dan mengukur penyimpangan-penyimpangan, serta mengambil tindakan koreksi yang diperlukan untuk menjamin bahwa semua sumber daya yang ada dipergunakan dengan cara paling efektif dan efisisien dalam pencapain tujuan yang diharapkan. Tujuan utama dari pengawasan adalah mengusahakan agar apa yang direncanakan menjadi kenyataan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membahas tetang sistem pengawasan perdagangan di Kota Jambi dan Penerapan yang dilakukan pemerintah Kota Jambi terhadap pengawasan perdagangan menurut peraturan Daerah Nomor 15 Tahun 2015. Metode Penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum Normatif, yaitu penelitian hukum yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka atau data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan studi pustaka, yang merupakan metode pengumpulan data yang diarahkan kepada pencarian data atau informasi melalui dokumen-dokumen, baik itu dokumen tertulis, buku, jurnal maupun dokumen elektronik yang dapat mendukung berjalannya proses penulisan.

Abstract

This study discusses the misuse of the status of Fixed-Term Employment Agreements (PKWT) in the Indonesian employment system and its legal implications for worker protection within the framework of the Pancasila rule of law. The enactment of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and its implementing regulations amended the limitative provisions of Article 59 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, which originally provided legal certainty through time limits and an automatic conversion mechanism from PKWT to PKWTT. These changes create legal uncertainty, weaken protection for contract workers, and create potential violations of citizens' constitutional rights to decent work and livelihoods as guaranteed by Article 27 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution. This study uses normative legal methods with a statutory and conceptual approach to examine the effectiveness of legal norms and their implementation practices in the field. The analysis shows that the misuse of PKWT has made employment relationships an instrument of exploitation, not protection, thus contradicting just and civilized humanitarian values. From the perspective of a Pancasila-based state based on the rule of law, the law should serve as a protector of vulnerable groups and ensure a balance between legal certainty, justice, and expediency. Therefore, a reconstruction of employment policy is needed that reaffirms the law's function as an instrument of social justice by strengthening oversight mechanisms, sanctions, and ensuring the status of contract workers in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the Risalah al-Falak Nurul Anwar min Muntaha al-Aqwal fi Maírifah Hisab al-Sinin wa al-Hilal wa al-Khusuf ala Haqīqī bi al-Tahqīq bi Rasd al-Jadid, the work of KH. Nur Ahmad, SS, using content analysis. The results are: First, the book calculations algorithm in terms of determining the beginning of the month Qamariyah fall under hisab Haqiqi bi al-Tahqīq. While Spherical Trigonometry is the basis for its theory and calculation. Second, in the making process, the book used Badīíah al-Mitsāl and al-Khulāsah al-Wāfiah as reference. This literature research also found that the trend of the data is taken from the book of Badīíah al-Mitsāl, while the calculation is taken from the book of al-Khulāsah al-Wāfiah, by adapting the rules of modern astronomy.

Abstract

The central issue in this study is how revelation and culture interact dialectically in the formation of Islamic law, particularly when both possess the potential for conflict or convergence within social realities. The objective of this research is to uncover the concept of dialectical interaction between revelation and culture in shaping Islamic legal norms. The method employed is a qualitative phenomenological approach, focusing on the relationship between revelation and culture in the development of Islamic law. The data used in this study consists of relevant secondary literature sources. The findings reveal that the interaction between revelation and culture may take the form of assimilation, accommodation, or penetration, depending on the epistemological strength and the urgency of public interest (maṣlaḥah) involved. The study concludes that Islamic law is not static; rather, it remains open to cultural dynamics as long as they do not contradict the principles of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. The study recommends strengthening istinbāṭ methodologies that are responsive to local cultural contexts, as well as enhancing Islamic legal literacy that can wisely and sustainably bridge the values of revelation with social realities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas permasalahan penerapan strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang efektif berbasis kurikulum terintegrasi dalam upaya memperkuat sikap religius dan moderasi beragama siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi pembelajaran PAI berbasis kurikulum terintegrasi serta kontribusinya dalam penguatan sikap religius dan moderasi beragama peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI, serta analisis dokumen perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran PAI berbasis kurikulum terintegrasi, seperti pembelajaran kontekstual, internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman, dan pembelajaran kolaboratif, berperan positif dalam membentuk sikap religius siswa dan pemahaman moderasi beragama. Strategi tersebut mendorong siswa untuk mengamalkan nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan tetap menjunjung tinggi sikap toleransi, inklusivitas, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman. Dengan demikian, integrasi kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran PAI menjadi faktor penting dalam pembentukan karakter religius dan penguatan moderasi beragama di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Perkembangan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) di Indonesia merupakan salah satu cara menciptakan budaya literasi di masyarakat. TBM berfungsi sebagai sarana belajar, menyediakan akses terhadap bahan bacaan, serta mendorong peningkatan minat baca secara luas. Tujuan pendampingan untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi oleh pengelola TBM, strategi yang bisa diterapkan untuk mengatasi kendala dan hasil evaluasi dari strategi yang telah diterapkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu Service Learning. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 40 peserta yang terdiri dari orang tua dan anak-anak. Hasil investigasi diketahui bahwa kendala yang dihadapi oleh pengelola yaitu pengunjung yang datang ke TBM masih sedikit karena kurang promosi layanan. Strategi yang bisa diterapkan yaitu melakukan sosialisasi dengan memperkenalkan program pembelajaran digital yaitu aplikasi kipin. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya dampak positif yang ditunjukkan oleh skor rata-rata pada lima aspek, yaitu pemahaman tentang TBM (4,05), kualitas penyampaian sosialisasi (4,18), pemahaman terhadap platform Kipin (4,10), manfaat yang dirasakan (4,32), dan minat berkunjung ke TBM (4,15). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan minat masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan TBM sebagai sumber belajar.
