Abstract

Rapid Application Development (RAD) is one of the Software Development Cycle (SDLC) methodologies that are often used by development teams that prioritize time efficiency. The RAD methodology is considered as one of the methodologies that has the shortest completion time compared to other SDLC methodologies. This study aims to validate, update, and expand the previous discussion regarding the universal conditions of RAD model research in the world of software feature development. Objectives can be obtained using a narrative review procedure, which is applied to previously collected literature. This study aims to make conclusions about the model of the RAD methodology which is very effective, supports and constrains the RAD model, and is efficient compared to other development models. Not only that, this research also guides the universal stages in SDLC and the RAD methodology used to integrate these stages.

Abstract

A brand new disease known as COVID 19 was identified in 2019 but has yet to infect humans (World Health Organization, 2019). This group of viruses can infect mammals, including humans and birds, and cause sickness. People commonly contract coronaviruses from the flu and other minor respiratory diseases, but they can also spread serious diseases such as SARS, MERS, and the deadly COVID-19. Therefore, to avoid further casualties, this number must be decreased. It is crucial to understand the variables that can truly reduce the danger of death and gauge the propensity for recovery in Covid-19 patients. Several techniques in data mining can be used to forecast patient recovery rates depending on various characteristics. The criteria of this study included gender, age, province, and status. The Naive Bayes (NB) and Pso-based Naive Bayes algorithms are compared in this study using patient data sets to determine whether the strategy is more accurate. The findings of this study reveal that the NB method has a 94.07% accuracy rate, a precision value of 14%, a recall value of 1% and an AUC value of 0.613, according to the study data. The accuracy rate of the Naive Bayes based on PSO is 95.56%, the precision is 25%, the recall is 1%, and the AUC is 0.540.

Abstract

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common form of leukemia that occurs in children. Detection of ALL through white blood cell image analysis can help with the prognosis and appropriate treatment. In this study, the author proposes an approach to classifying ALL based on white blood cell images using a convolutional neural network (CNN) model called InceptionV3. The dataset used in this research consists of white blood cell images collected from patients with ALL and healthy individuals. These images were obtained from The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA), which is a service that stores large-scale cancer medical images available to the public. During the evaluation phase, the author used training data evaluation metrics such as accuracy and loss to measure the model's performance. The research results show that the InceptionV3 model is capable of classifying white blood cell images with a high level of accuracy. This model achieves an average ALL recognition accuracy of 0.9896 with a loss of 0.031. The use of CNN models such as InceptionV3 in medical image analysis has the potential to improve the efficiency and precision of image-based disease diagnosis.

Abstract

Komoditas jagung di Indonesia menjadi tanaman pangan terbesar kedua setelah padi sebagai sumber karbohidrat. Namun dikarenakan keterbatasan kemampuan petani dan faktor lingkungan menyebabkan upaya penanganan tanaman jagung akibat adanya serangan organisme pengganggu tanaman menjadi terhambat. Penelitian ini mengusulkan upaya deteksi secara dini terhadap jenis penyakit pada daun tanaman jagung menggunakan metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang dikenal sebagai algoritma pembelajaran mesin berkinerja tinggi dalam mengklasifikasikan jenis penyakit tanaman ke dalam beberapa kelas seperti Blight, Common Rust, Grey Leaf Spot, dan Healthy. Selain itu, transformasi warna citra dari RGB, HSV dan Grayscale, proses segmentasi dengan Region of Interest (ROI) serta dilengkapi dengan penerapan ektraksi fitur tekstur dengan menggunakan GLCM telah mampu menghasilkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 94% dan nilai loss rate yang relatif kecil yaitu 0.1742. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode CNN terbukti secara efisien & efektif dalam melakukan identifikasi jenis penyakit tanaman.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, free trade grows rapidly and technology develops, affecting economic competition. Forex, foreign exchange trading, is one of the investments used to face this challenge. Technical and fundamental analysis is used to predict price movements in forex trading. Previous studies have used linear regression algorithms and other techniques for price prediction in forex. In this study, the linear regression algorithm is used to predict closing prices in forex trading because the linear regression algorithm is an algorithm that has been widely used in predictions, its strengths are in estimating simple model parameters and data based on time series. In addition, the linear regression algorithm can perform analysis using several independent variables so that the prediction results can be more accurate. The purpose of this study is to create a forex price prediction model, to make it easier for traders to make price predictions. A dataset of 2066 data was obtained through the metatrader software and processed through the preprocessing stage. The linear regression model was created using 5 scenarios, and the evaluation was carried out using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) values to select the best model. The results show that linear regression is able to predict the closing price of the USDCHF pair. The best linear regression model is obtained using the independent variable in scenario 1, namely the Open variable, with a linear regression equation of y=0.0145+0.9849x, the best MSE is 0.0000328509 and the best RMSE is 0.0057315705.

Abstract

The Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix method includes contrast, correlation, energy and homogeneity then is processed using an artificial neural network method for its classification. This literature tries to learn about the process of the GLCM method. This is done to understand the methods that researchers use to collect data from various sources, process the data that has been collected, and classify the data so that it becomes information that is easier to understand. researchers collect, screen, and review the research found using a Systematic Literature Review approach. Researchers pooled research from ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Elsevier by selecting studies published from 2020 to 2023. The purpose of the researchers conducting this literature review was to understand the GLCM method in parks, gain an understanding of data collection techniques, methods, and study the results of the research. previously. This study collects and summarizes 12 studies. The study was conducted regarding the method of data collection, the methods used, and the results of the research.

Abstract

Driving behavior significantly influences road safety. Unsafe driving behaviors, such as driving under the influence, speeding, and using mobile phones, can lead to serious accidents and fatalities. This research aims to observe driving characteristics by utilizing smartphone motion sensor data. The data collection method involved recording the driver’s smartphone motion sensor during trips. The data were then exported from the system for further processing. The main objective of this study is to process the data by creating a classification model with the best performance in handling smartphone motion sensor data. The results of this research are expected to be implementable models to address road safety issues in the future. Additionally, by utilizing driver characteristic detection technology, awareness of safe driving practices can be enhanced. The research methodology used data mining with machine learning classification modeling using random forest (RF), support vector machine (SVM), and decision tree (DT) methods. The test results indicate that the RF model performed the best with an accuracy of 91.22%. Furthermore, this study found that speed was the most influential factor in identifying safe or unsafe driving behavior. The developed classification model shows the potential to improve traffic management efficiency and contribute to safer transportation. By leveraging driver characteristic detection technology, it is hoped that awareness of safe driving practices will increase, leading to a safer road environment.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 yang melanda seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia, membutuhkan langkah-langkah pencegahan seperti penelusuran (tracing), pelacakan (tracking) dan pemberian peringatan (warning dan fencing). Salah satu langkah pencegahan yang dilakukan Pemerintah adalah melalui Keputusan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Nomor 171 Tahun 2020 tentang Penetapan Aplikasi Pedulilindungi Dalam Rangka Pelaksanaan Surveilans Kesehatan Penanganan Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), menetapkan aplikasi Pedulilindungi sebagai aplikasi surveilans kesehatan penanganan COVID-19. Berbagai komentar disampaikan masyarakat terhadap aplikasi pedulilindungi termasuk melalui kolom ulasan pada playstore. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pemodelan topik menggunakan LDA terhadap ulasan masyarakat tentang aplikasi pedulilindungi. Jumlah data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 13.731 data yang didapatkan dengan melakukan scraping pada google play mulai tanggal 15 september s/d 6 desember 2021 menggunakan library google scrapping. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah preprocessing dataset, melakukan proses word2vec, menghitung nilai coherence dan melakukan pemodelan topik. Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai coherence pembagian jumlah topik yang ideal adalah 5, kemudian setelah diproses menggunakan algoritma LDA kesimpulan dari ke 5 topik tersebut didefinisikan sebagai kendala pendaftaran, sertifikat vaksin, tanggal lahir yang tidak sesuai, kendala membuka aplikasi dan keluhan pengguna aplikasi.

Abstract

In the last decades, various Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) models have been developed to meet the different needs and challenges in the software industry. The purpose of this research is to analyze and compare some of the most common SDLC methods. After the selection and evaluation process is complete, a literature review is carried out by collecting articles, books, and other sources related to the SDLC method. Several main SDLC methods were selected for thorough analysis. Waterfall, Agile and Scrum are some of the methods. Important factors such as flexibility, speed of development, ability to adapt to changing requirements, and project risk are evaluated. The results of the analysis show that each SDLC method has strengths and weaknesses, and that they are appropriate for a variety of situations. While Agile and Scrum methods emphasize flexibility and teamwork, the Waterfall method provides greater structure and clarity to plans. This study aims to determine the best process method for software development. This literature review provides an in-depth understanding of the features, strengths, and weaknesses of various existing SDLC methods. With a better understanding of these methods, organizations can choose the SDLC method that best suits their project needs, thereby increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of software development. This research resulted in a process method that is widely used in software development, namely the Agile method.

Abstract

LPDP Scholarship (Education Fund Management Institution) is the most sought after by prospective students who want to continue their studies in the country, especially for those who want to continue their studies abroad. Recently, LPDP experienced problems related to students who received LPDP scholarships but did not return to Indonesia in accordance with the rules that have been stated. Starting from the incident on twitter, the topic of "LPDP" became a trending topic among twitter users. So it is our concern to find out and analyze public opinion through this twitter social media. By comparing the results of two methods, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes in classifying the twitter sentiment. As well as the calculation of accuracy using the Confusion Matrix, there are as many as 1000 tweets result from crawling. This research resulted in a classification that uses the Vader Lexicon Library built by NLTK, the Naïve Bayes method and Support Vector Machine (SVM) has not yet reached an accuracy rate of 70%.
