Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has led to significant changes in the provision of nursing care. This study examines nurses' experiences with using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) for nursing care documentation. This study aims to explore the experiences of nurses using EMR in documenting nursing care. This qualitative study uses a phenomenological approach involving 10 nurses, including the head of the room, team leader, and implementing nurses. Participants were selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the following criteria: nurses who perform nursing care documentation using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), nurses working in inpatient, outpatient, emergency (IGD), and intensive care units, nurses with a work experience of at least 2 years, and nurses who are willing to participate. The study was conducted at a private hospital in Pekanbaru. Data were collected through interviews and analysed using thematic analysis, employing the Colaizzi method. Result: The analysis revealed three themes: the benefits of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in nursing services, supporting factors for the implementation of EMR, and inhibiting factors for the implementation of EMR. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that nurses feel the effectiveness and efficiency of EMR in documenting. However, during its implementation, there are still obstacles that require attention from hospital management. Thus, providing health services becomes optimal and efficient for patients and health workers.

Abstract

Ineffective discharge planning results in discontinuity of patient care at home. This condition worsens patient outcomes, leading to patients returning to health services with the same medical history or with new and more severe complications. This study aims to explore the experience of healthcare workers and patients in implementing discharge planning for heart failure patients. This study employed a phenomenological design with a qualitative, interpretative approach. The participants consisted of 17 individuals: ten health workers from a private hospital in Pekanbaru, two heart specialists, three nurses, two pharmacists, three nutritionists, and seven patients with heart failure who were planning to return home. Participant recruitment was conducted using a purposive sampling method. Data collection was through in-depth interviews, and data analysis used the Colaizzi analysis stages. Four themes are interrelated with the studied phenomena: the information received by patients regarding discharge planning, specific education for heart failure patients, the challenges faced by healthcare workers in completing the discharge planning form, and the important components of discharge planning for heart failure patients. The experiences of healthcare workers and patients in implementing discharge planning in this study reveal that there are still inadequacies that concern both healthcare workers and patients. The themes identified in this study can contribute to the development of discharge planning forms for heart failure patients. Therefore, this study on healthcare services suggests that it may reduce the recurrence rate of heart failure in patients.

Abstract

Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) is one of the plants that is rich in anthocyanins. Anthocyanin pigments are usually unstable; therefore, one method to increase their stability is microencapsulation using various coating agents. This research aimed to determine the optimal ratio of maltodextrin and whey protein isolate (WPI) as a coating agent for producing roselle extract microcapsules and to assess the effects of pH and temperature on microcapsule stability. Dried roselle calyx was initially extracted using combinations of ethanol, distilled water, and citric acid. The roselle extract had a yield of 73.48%, a moisture content of 39.44%, a pH of 2.53, a total anthocyanin content of 38.85 mg/L, and a color intensity with a wavelength peak at 522 nm and an absorbance of 2.414. The roselle extract was then encapsulated using maltodextrin and whey protein isolate as coating agents at different ratios (1:0, 1:3, 1:1, 3:1, and 1:0) using the spray drying method. The chosen ratio of maltodextrin and whey protein isolate was 1:0, with color intensity (absorbance at 520 nm) of 0.453±0.01, yield of 66.60±4.04%, moisture content of 11.04 ±0.56%, solubility of 81.40 ±5.39%, total anthocyanin content of 10.33 ±0.25 mg/L, and encapsulation efficiency of 92.12 ±2.63%. Furthermore, the stability of the selected microcapsules at different pH (2, 4, 6, 8, and 10) and temperatures (25°C, 40°C, 55°C, 70°C, and 85°C) was assessed based on total anthocyanin content and color intensity. Results showed that the highest stability of roselle extract microcapsules was obtained at pH 2-6 and temperature below 70°C.

Abstract

The increasing reliance on cloud computing technologies has driven digital business transformation across various industries, offering scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency. However, this rapid adoption has simultaneously introduced complex cybersecurity challenges, including data breaches, unauthorized access, and system vulnerabilities that threaten operational continuity and trust. In response to these growing concerns, this study aims to analyze and develop effective cloud based cybersecurity strategies that enhance the resilience of digital business operations during transformation processes. The objective of this research is to identify and evaluate strategic cybersecurity practices that can strengthen cloud infrastructure during digital change. Employing a mixed method approach, the research combines an extensive literature review with qualitative expert interviews involving IT professionals and cybersecurity practitioners from cloud reliant enterprises. A total of 126 participants were involved in the data collection phase, comprising 98 valid survey respondents and 28 interview informants. The results reveal that while many organizations have implemented basic cloud security protocols, only a few have adopted comprehensive, adaptive frameworks capable of withstanding evolving cyber threats. Key strategic elements identified include the integration of zero trust architecture, continuous risk assessment, multi factor authentication, cloud native security tools, and regular employee training. Furthermore, organizations that embedded cybersecurity planning into their digital transformation roadmap demonstrated higher resilience, faster recovery from incidents, and stronger regulatory compliance. Based on these findings, the conclusion emphasizes that a proactive, strategy driven approach to cloud cybersecurity not only mitigates risks but also strengthens the long term sustainability of digital transformation efforts. The proposed framework serves as a guide for decision makers seeking to secure their cloud infrastructure while maintaining agility and innovation in an increasingly digital and threat prone business environment.

Abstract

This study aims to map the research landscape at the intersection of Strategic Management and Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, using bibliometric methods. A total of 94 articles published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix to identify key authors, countries, institutions, and thematic clusters. The results revealed four dominant keyword clusters: growth, strategy, innovation, and stakeholder integration. Notably, India emerged as a central player in global collaborations related to SDGs 12. Theoretically, this study extends the understanding of how technological and green innovations intersect within strategic management frameworks to foster sustainable consumption and production practices. Managerially, the findings suggest that organizations should invest in digital infrastructure, particularly in AI, IoT, and data analytics, and adopt cross-sector governance mechanisms to drive sustainability goals. Furthermore, embedding sustainability metrics into key performance indicators (KPIs) can create a competitive advantage while aligning with global sustainability agendas. This paper provides actionable insights for both researchers and managers seeking to integrate strategic innovation with SDGs 12.
