Abstract

Education development nowadays pushes the education foundation to fulfill all the needs of the school members like the teachers, staff, students, and parents. The manner is by increasing the teaching-learning process pleasure through good services. Furthermore, the foundations have to anticipate to face competitive competition. They are responsible to search and increase all the aspects inside. This research is a quantitative approach using path analysis. The sample of this research was 121 students from grade X, XII, and XIII. It was taken by using proportionated stratified random sampling techniques based on the class level in SMK 2 Purnama Semarang. The purpose of this research is to analyze directly and indirectly between the service quality and the school facilities to the students’ satisfaction through the school reputation as the intervening variable. The instrument of collecting the data; It used questionnaires and the observation sheet. The result of the research shows if there is the direct service quality (Sig. 0.046) and the school facilities (Sig. 0.000) influence the school reputation, the direct service quality (Sig. 0.005), the school facilities (Sig. 0.006) and the school reputation (score Z 1.5164) cannot become the influence mediator between the service quality and the school facilities to the students’ satisfaction. The conclusion; there are the service quality direct variable influence and the school facilities to the students' satisfaction. However, the indirect school reputation variable cannot mediate the influence between the service quality and the school facilities to the students' satisfaction.

Abstract

Kompetensi profesional guru merupakan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap guru, namun kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Inggris SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Cilacap masih rendah. Indikator rendahnya kompetensi profesional guru tersebut di antaranya hasil UKG bahasa Inggris tahun 2012 rata-rata 34,42, prosentase daya serap mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris SMA (Jurusan IPA/IPS/Bahasa) tingkat kabupaten Cilacap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 masih di bawah daya serap tingkat provinsi dan tingkat nasional, pemantauan dan pembinaan profesional guru oleh pengawas dan kepala sekolah belum berjalan efektif. Hasil penelitian secara deskriptif bahwa supervisi model faktual yang dilaksanakan oleh pengawas dan kepala sekolah belum berjalan efektif. Analisis kebutuhan guru bahasa Inggris SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Cilacap, tentang supervisi klinis 76% (cukup tinggi). Hasil uji efektifitas terbatas model supervisi klinis dengan Pendekatan lesson study terhadap 6 guru model dengan analisis uji paired two sampel t-test menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai supervisi sebelum eksperimen 72 menjadi 78 sesudahnya. Hasil hitung ttest dengan derajat kesalahan 5% dan dk n-1=5 sebesar 1,333 dikorelasikan dengan distribusi nilai ttabel menunjukkan nilai 2,015 kategori signifikan. Respon guru model sesudah eksperimen meningkat dari 76% menjadi 87%. Efektivitas model supervisi klinis dengan Pendekatan lesson study lebih baik dari model supervisi faktual.Professional competence of teachers is a competency that should be owned by every teacher, but the professional competence of teachers of English high schools in Cilacap still low. Poor indicator of professional competence among teachers of English UKG result in 2012 average 34.42, the percentage of subjects absorption for English (Classese of IPA/ IPS/Language) Cilacap district level of the school year 2012/2013 was still below the absorption provincial and national level, monitoring and professional development of teachers by supervisors and principals have not been effective. This research method using the method of research and development (R & D). The results of descriptive studies that supervision factual models imple­mented by supervisors and principals have not been effective. Analysis of the needs of teachers of English high schools in Cilacap regency, about 76 % of clinical supervision (high enough). Test results limited effectiveness of clinical supervision models based on 6 teacher lesson study model with a two sample test analysis of paired t-test showed the increase in the average value of supervision before experiments 72 to 78 afterwards. Count the results of t-test with degrees of error of 5% and df = 5 n-1 correlated with the distribution of 1,333 ttabel value indicates the value 2.015 significant category. Response after experimental model teacher has the imp­rovement of 76 % to 87 %. The effectiveness of clinical supervision models based lesson study model of supervision is better than factual.

Abstract

Analisis terhadap hasil penelitian menyatakanbaik secara bersama-sama disiplin guru dan pegawai pada SMP Negeri 2 Sengkang terbukti.Dari hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan analisis model regresi, diperoleh F-hitung sebesar 4,652 > F-tabel sebesar 3,327 dengan tingkat probablilitas 0,018 (signifikan), dengan nilai probabilitas jauh lebih kecil dan 0,05. Variabel disiplin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dan pegawai pada SMP Negeri 2 SengkangKabupatenWajo. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji t memperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,420 > t-tabel sebesar 2,037 diterima dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (0,050>0,05). Artinya semakin meningkat disiplinyang dijalankan, maka kinerja guru dan pegawai akan meningkat demikian pun sebaliknya. Variabel budaya kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dan pegawai pada SMP Negeri 2 Sengkang KabupatenWajo. Hal ini tidak terbukti dari hasil uji t memperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 3,045 > t-tabel sebesar 2,037 diterima dengan taraf signifikan 5% (0,005<0,05). Artinya semakin baik budaya kerja, maka kinerja guru dan pegawai akan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

The national education exam above explains that Indonesia's implementation of education is directed at preparing quality human resources, namely obedience to religious teachings, healthy body and soul, knowledgeable, independent, creative, and responsible. This study aimed to obtain, analyze, interpret, and describe/describe the data regarding the level of knowledge competence and social attitude competence of class VIII students of SMPN 40 Makassar through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model with authentic assessment. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design in which neither the experimental group nor the control group was chosen randomly. This study's results are the competence of knowledge through the application of conventional learning models for students of class VIIIISMP Negeri 40 Makassar in the excellent category with an average score of 75.6364. The level of knowledge competence through applying the STAD cooperative learning model with authentic assessment for class VIIISMP Negeri 40 Makassar students is in the excellent category, with an average score of 82.3030. The competency level of social attitudes through applying conventional learning models for class VIIISMP Negeri 40 Makassar students is in a suitable category, with an average score of 80.8083. The level of social competence through applying the standard cooperative learning model with authentic assessment for students of the 40 State Viiismp class in Makassar is in the outstanding category with an average of 90.7647. There is a significant effect of applying the standard cooperative learning model with an authentic assessment of students' knowledge competence in class VII SMP Negeri 40 Makassar. There is a significant effect of applying the standard cooperative learning model with an authentic assessment of the competence of students' social attitudes in class VII SMP Negeri 40 Makassar.

Abstract

The report on the results of research on the activities and student achievement at SMP Negeri 2 Tanasitolo through the application of learning. "Research was conducted by students to help students who still experience learning problems, especially the lack of student interest in education. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Acep Belajar program on learning activities, creativity, student learning achievement and the effectiveness of classroom management. This research was carried out in class VIII B of SMPN 2 Tanasitolo from January to May 2019 which was divided into two cycles including the preparation (planning), implementation of the action, observation, evaluation, reflection, and revision of stories. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and presented in tabular form and the calculation of the percentage of results. The results of the research obtained from the first cycle, the average value of student learning outcomes was 60.70, while in the second cycle, it was 83.70. Students who get the highest score in the process I am 20% in cycle II to 40%. Thus there is an increase in student achievement compared to conventional cooperative methods which are only able to achieve the highest score, which is still below 20% or around 4%. Besides that, student learning activities in the discussion were below 12% after the second cycle increased to 16%. Furthermore, it was concluded that the implementation of the Acep learning program could significantly improve the quality of learning for class VIII B students of SMPN 2 Tanasitolo.

Abstract

Education is not only about the discourse on how to shape young people into competent generations of the nation, but education also includes the practical realm of how the process is applied. The type of research used in this research is experimental research that seeks to find the influence of other variables under tightly controlled conditions. The research method used in this research is quantitative analysis method, namely study that emphasizes its analysis on numerical data or numbers obtained by statistical methods and is carried out in inferential study or the context of hypothesis testing so that the significance of the relationship between the variables studied is obtained. This research is a process that begins with observations in the form of prior experiences on the implementation of learning in class IX.2 SMP Negeri 2 Sengkang, Wajo Regency in the way of preliminary data collection. The results in this study are that students 'perceptions of learning using probing techniques are positive, students feel learning becomes more interesting; students' thinking skills become more trained by answering questions from the teacher. The teacher's perception is excellent about learning using probing techniques; the teacher feels happy to guide students to further improve their thinking skills with questions that are by the level of thinking ability. Reproductive systems learning material in biology learning using probing techniques is more effective than ordinary learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat keseringan intensitas penyuluhan dan tingginya peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga, serta menganalisis pengaruh intensitas penyuluhan terhadap peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Ex Post Facto. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota kelompok UPPKS di Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 160 anggota. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahw intensitas penyuluhan pada kelompok UPPKS memiliki nilai persentase sebesar 24,35% yang memiliki kriteria sering, peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga pada kelompok UPPKS memiliki nilai persentase sebesar 52,17% yang memiliki kriteria cukup tinggi, dan ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan intensitas penyuluhan terhadap peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga. Tetapi pengaruhnya hanya sebesar 3,9% sedangkan 96,1% peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the program management of media literacy education and explain inhibiting and supporting factors of Media Literacy Education in Islamic Boarding School WALI Salatiga. This research used qualitative approach. The data were collected by using observation, interview and documentation. The sample used in this research involved one Islamic boarding school’s tutor, one cleric, one manager and three students. Data validity techniques used is triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis technique used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research showed that: The research results obtained that program management of Media Literacy Education in Islamic Boarding School WALI Salatiga begins from planning, implementation, and ends with evaluation. In addition, there are factors that influence the management process, namely, inhibiting factors; students’ awareness that does not always come or students sometimes come (student’s internal motivation) and lack of infrastructure. Supporting factors are clerics who are competent in their fields, coaching and learning strategies that are fun.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial instinct is one of the dimensions of entrepreneurial competence that must be possessed by the principal, by having an entrepreneurial instinct the principal can manage production/ service activities in the school as a source of learning for students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dimensions of the principals' entrepreneurial instincts in planning, organizing, implementing and supervising school production/ service activities as a source of learning for students in Pandhega Jaya Christian High School. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study design. The purpose of this study is to analyze the principals' entrepreneurial instincts in planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring school production/ service activities as a source of learning for students. The research sample consisted of school principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the principal already had an entrepreneurial instinct in managing school production/ service activities. in the case of planning, it is carried out by planning a work program of production activities together with the management team, budget planning, raw materials and tools, sources of business capital and preparing supporting facilities. In terms of organizing done by arranging human resources, infrastructure, implementation of production activities carried out in accordance with the plan that is as a source of learning for students. Supervision is carried out jointly by employees, principals and teachers to ensure that implementation is in accordance with planning. With good management of school production/ service activities, the principal has prepared learning resources for students, equipping graduates to work in the business world as well as an alternative school income in terms of funding.
