Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia learning to introduce religious and moral values (prayer and ablution) for kindergarten. Multimedia forms in compact disk (CD) format. This research method is research and development. The subjects of this research were 47 students of kindergarten. The results of the research have been developed by Interactive Multimedia Learning in kindergarten students with good categories according to expert validation and suitable for learning. Based on t-test obtained tvalue is smaller than ttable = 0.05 which shows that the implementation of Interactive Learning Ablution and Prayer Multimedia can significantly introduce religious and moral values. By implementing CDs on learning students can get to know the stage of ablution and prayer and practice them. In practice there are still difficulties experienced by student. In ablution activities that is when washing feet and prayer activities while sitting between two prostrations.

Abstract

Teacher performance is influenced by several factors, including teacher commitment, teacher profesional competence and teacher motivation, the higher the commitment, profesional competence and motivation of a teacher, the better the performance. The purpose of this study is to obtain concrete evidence about teacher motivation in mediating the effect of teacher commitment and teacher professional competence on learning outcomes. This research used a quantitative approach with a hypothesis study research design. The population of this study was 297 Vocational High School teachers in Blora Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. So that a final sample of 109 people was obtained. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that commitment had a direct influence of 34% on teacher performance. Professional competence has a direct influence of 26.1% on teacher performance and teacher motivation has a direct effect of 44.5% on teacher performance. Commitment has an indirect effect of 11.1% through motivation on teacher performance and professional competence has an indirect effect of 24.2% through teacher motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) Describe Islamic character learning planning based on habituation in MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus Program Khusus, (2) Describe the implementation of habituation based Islamic learning in MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus Program Khusus, and (3) Describe the assessment / evaluation habituation based Islamic character learning in MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus Program Khusus.The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used was participatory observation, semitructured interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique that will be used is source, method and time triangulation. The data analysis technique used is based on Miles and Huberman's theory which includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification.The results showed that (1) Planning for habituation programs at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus Program Khusus consisted of several stages including, evaluation, coordination meetings, and program preparation, (2) Implementation of habituation programs at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus Program Khusus were well implemented and orderly, both in the school environment and in the home environment. However, the obstacle is sometimes the lazy attitude of the students, and (3) Evaluation (assessment) of the habituation program at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kudus Program Khusus is carried out in 2 stages. The first is to use student achievement books for daily assessments at school. The second is using the 2013 curriculum report cards for assessment at the end of each semester.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of audio-visual media and serial images toward the improvement of the knowledge of sex education in early childhood. The research method used in this study was Mixed Method. Quantitative approach was used to obtain the effectiveness level of learning video media and serial images. The finding of this research expressed that the implementation of audio-visual media and serial images were still ineffective to be implemented through the learning activity. Those leaning media had the attractiveness, but students cannot optimally receive the message delivered. The effectiveness in this study was marked by the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.889 which was bigger than 0,05 (p > 0.05). The result of t-test independent sample testing concluded that the use of learning video and serial images was not effective to improve the knowledge of sex education in early childhood. It means that, there were no differences in the use of learning video and serial image toward the knowledge of early childhood sex education assigned in the value of t-count which was -0.140 with the probability Sig. (2-tailed) 0.889. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach was used to explain the ineffectiveness of learning video media and serial image.

Abstract

Zakat merupakan salah satu rukun Islam yang mempunyai peranan sangat besar dalam peningkatan kualitas kehidupan umat Islam. Hal ini disebabkan karena zakat merupakan ibadah yang tidak hanya bersifat vertikal (hablun min Allah), namun juga bersifat horizontal (hablun min al-nas). Dengan sifatnya yang vertikal, zakat bisa meningkatkan kualitas keimanan, membersihkan, dan mensucikan jiwa seorang muslim. Sedangkan dengan sifat horizontalnya, zakat bisa membantu seseorang yang sangat membutuhkan untuk mencukupi kehidupannya secara layak. Oleh karena itu, maka zakat mempunyai peluang yang sangat besar dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan. Namun demikian, peluang yang sangat besar ini masih dalam “catatan” dan belum bisa diwujudkan dalam kehidupan umat Islam. Hal ini terbukti dari banyaknya jumlah umat Islam yang termasuk dalam golongan fakir miskin, bahkan negara-negara yang termasuk dalam negara dunia ketiga, mayoritas adalah negara-negara muslim. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan rekonstruksi atas paradigma zakat yang selama ini difahami oleh umat Islam, baik dari segi kedudukan, obyek, mustahiq, dan model pendistribusiannya termasuk pengelolaannya.

Abstract

Wakaf merupakan salah satu institusi dalam Islam yang memperhatikan kesejahteraan umat. Sebagai negara yang mayoritas penduduknya Muslim, Indonesia mempunyai peluang  besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan wakaf. Dengan peluang yang besar ini, pemerintah Indonesia membuat beberapa regulasi untuk mengatur wakaf dalam bentuk Undang-Undang, Peraturan Pemerintah, Kompilasi, Peraturan Menteri Agama, dan Peraturan Badan Wakaf Indonesia. Beberapa regulasi yang telah dibentuk tidak lepas dari pengaruh masyarakat Indonesia yang mayoritas bermadzhab Syafi’i, di samping madzhab Hanafi, Maliki, dan Hanbali. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh madzhab terhadap regulasi wakaf di Indonesia, khususnya Undang-Undang Nomor 41 tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa madzhab Hanafi mempengaruhi Undang-Undang Nomor 41 Tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf sebanyak 78%, madzhab Maliki dan Syafi’i memiliki pengaruh sebesar 100% dan madzhab Hanbali memiliki pengaruh sebanyak 85%. Lebih lanjut, pengaruh madzhab Hanafi terhadap Kompilasi Hukum Islam adalah sebanyak 85%, dan madzhab Maliki, Syafi’i, dan Hanbali masing-masing memiliki pengaruh sebesar 100%.   Waqf is one of the institutions in Islam that considers the welfare of society. As a predominantly Muslim country, Indonesia has a great opportunity to improve the welfare of society through waqf. With this great opportunity, the Indonesian government made several regulations to manage waqf in the form of laws, government regulations, compilation, regulations of the Minister of Religion, and regulations of the Indonesian Waqf Board. Some of the regulations that have been formed are inseparable from the influence of the majority of Indonesian people as the followers of the Shafi'i’s school of thought, besides the thoughts of Hanafi, Maliki, and Hanbali. This paper examines the influence of school of thought (madzhab) on waqf regulation in Indonesia, specifically in Law Number 41 of 2004 on Endowment and Compilation of Islamic Law. Using a quantitative approach, it can be concluded that the Hanafi’s schools influence Law Number 41 of 2004 on Waqf as much as 78%, the Maliki’s and Shafi'i’s schools have an influence of 100% and the Hanbali schools have an influence of 85%. Furthermore, the influence of the Hanafi’s schools in Islamic Law Compilation was 85%, and each Maliki’s, Shafi'i’s, and Hanbali’s schools had an influence of 100%

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning management in training preparation for Japan internship program at LPK Wakashio Gakkou, which includes planning, implementation, coaching, and evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique uses triangulation of sources, methods and theories. Data analysis techniques include by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusions. The results of this study, know that learning planning is prepared by tutors based on user requests. Learning implementation is carried out intensively by using the dormitory as a compulsory residence for students, coaching is conducted relating to aspects of student's attitude / discipline during training activities. Evaluation of the results learning is carried out periodically, students are satisfied with the training activities provided by LPK Wakashio Gakkou for gaining knowledge in Japanese, work skills, good physical and disciplinary that are useful as provisions for internships to Japan.

Abstract

Two Stay Two Stray  is a cooperative learning model which is majoring the cooperation of each member of group to finish the task given and give chance to its member to share information each other with another group member by following a certain pattern. The purpose of this research is  to investigate the difference of learning achievement between students who have been taught using cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray  type with three intersection  pattern and students who have been taught using cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray  type with the simple pattern. The participants of this research are two groups of 10th grader, the A class as the experiment group and the B class as the control group respectively.  The instruments used in this research is Two Stay Two Stray with three intersection pattern and simple pattern learning which is manifested in the syllabus, Teaching Implementation Plan (RPP), and the questions for pre test and post test. The results of the data analysis were: 1) There was a difference in achievement between students who have been taught using cooperative learning of Two Stay Two Stray  type with three intersection pattern and students who have taught using a model of cooperative learning by Two Stay Two Stray  type with simple pattern, 2) the learning achievements of students who have taught using cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray  type with three intersection pattern were higher than students who have taught using cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray  type with simple pattern.

Abstract

Character education in pesantren-based school is an integrated system in building students? character in the school. This character education contains tradition of pesantren applied. School management will be able to run if the principal and the teacher cooperate with each other. The aims of this study are to analyze the planning of students? character development on pesantren-based school in SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak, to analyze the organization of students? character development on pesantren-based school in SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak, to analyze the implementation of students? character development on pesantren-based school in SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak, and to analyze the supervision of students? character development on pesantren-based school in SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak. The method used in this study was a qualitative description method. The focuses of this study were planning, organizing, implementing and supervising in SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak. The Sources of data in this study were informants, processes, and documents. Data collection techniques were done by observation conducted at SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak and interview conducted directly with the informants. The data validity technique used in this study was triangulation. While, the data analysis technique used was description analysis technique. The results of this study that were found by the researchers at SMK Ky Ageng Giri Demak as follow: first was the planning started from polling until determined the program through plenary meeting. Second, organizing was done by using a delegation system. Third, implementing was carried out by the person in charge with the help of the relevant teacher and it was done through intra, extracurricular, and pesentren programs. The last was supervising which was carried out by the principal using interpersonal communication so that the reports would be obtained fully.

Abstract

Education development nowadays pushes the education foundation to fulfill all the needs of the school members like the teachers, staff, students, and parents. The manner is by increasing the teaching-learning process pleasure through good services. Furthermore, the foundations have to anticipate to face competitive competition. They are responsible to search and increase all the aspects inside. This research is a quantitative approach using path analysis. The sample of this research was 121 students from grade X, XII, and XIII. It was taken by using proportionated stratified random sampling techniques based on the class level in SMK 2 Purnama Semarang. The purpose of this research is to analyze directly and indirectly between the service quality and the school facilities to the students’ satisfaction through the school reputation as the intervening variable. The instrument of collecting the data; It used questionnaires and the observation sheet. The result of the research shows if there is the direct service quality (Sig. 0.046) and the school facilities (Sig. 0.000) influence the school reputation, the direct service quality (Sig. 0.005), the school facilities (Sig. 0.006) and the school reputation (score Z 1.5164) cannot become the influence mediator between the service quality and the school facilities to the students’ satisfaction. The conclusion; there are the service quality direct variable influence and the school facilities to the students' satisfaction. However, the indirect school reputation variable cannot mediate the influence between the service quality and the school facilities to the students' satisfaction.
