Abstract

Laboratorium adalah salah satu komponen penting untuk mendukung pengajaran dan pembelajaran di sekolah, khususnya dalam ilmu alam (fisika, biologi, dan kimia), yang membutuhkan konfirmasi antara teori yang diperoleh dan realitas aktual. Dengan penerapan Kurikulum 2013, siswa tidak hanya diperlukan untuk mendemonstrasikan, tetapi juga untuk menemukan konsep. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui beberapa informasi terkait sarana dan prasarana laboratorium fisika yang baik dan layak digunakan untuk kegiatan praktikum. Metode dalam penelitian ini dengan metode kualitatif adalah fokus terhadap deskripsi dan pemahaman, Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah guru fisika, dan laboran SMAN 1 Genteng. Hasil penelitian yaitu untuk 81,5% pada tahap perencanaan dinilai baik, untuk 29,5% pengadministrasian mengenai alat dan bahan dinilai baik, untuk 33,3% penataan dan penyimpanan dinilai baik, untuk 72,5% keselamatan kerja juga dinilai baik, serta 65% keseluruhan bangunan terhitung baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan observasi sangat diperlukan oleh guru dan laboran untuk mengetahui kompetensi laboratorium tersebut.

Abstract

Atom is the smallest component of a chemical element that cannot be changed chemically. The concept of the atom was put forward by several scientists, one of which was Rutherford. From the results of Rutherford's experiment, it is known that most of the alpha particles fired at a thin gold plate are transmitted or scattered with a small scattering angle. In this study, the effect of incident energy (E) on the scattering cross section (σ) and scattering angle (Θ) will be simulated using Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB). Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that in Rutherford scattering, the greater the scattering angle, the smaller the scattering cross section. This is shown in the graph generated in the Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) simulation in the form of a decreasing exponential graph.

Abstract

The industrial era 4.0 is a new phase in the development of technology in agriculture. Technologies such as drones, sensors, cloud computing, and agricultural automation are examples of the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) as technological advances in agriculture. Moringa is rich in beneficial nutrients, especially for pregnant and lactating mothers so that it can prevent stunting. Internet of Things (IoT) technology is applied to monitor the growth conditions of Moringa in real time, increasing harvest yields in terms of quality and quantity. This program has proven effective in increasing the understanding of the Cangkring village community and can be used as a way to prevent stunting, as well as improve the quality of life in areas with a high prevalence of stunting

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of a blended learning model based on the application of Nearpod on students' interest and learning outcomes in physics at one of the secondary schools in Jember. This research is a type of experimental research that uses a post-test only control group design. The population of this study were students of class XI MIPA and XI BIC. Sampling used a random sampling technique, so that XI BIC 2 students were obtained as a control group implementing the conventional learning model and XI MIPA 1 as an experimental group implementing blended learning based on the Nearpod application. The instrument used is a physics student interest questionnaire which consists of 4 indicators and a post test in the form of a multiple-choice test which refers to students' cognitive abilities to remember (C1), understand (C2), apply (C3), analyze (C4), evaluate (C5), and create (C6). Questionnaire data and post test data regarding the influence of blended learning based on the Nearpod application on students' interest in learning and physics learning outcomes will be tested for homogeneity. If a significance value >0.05 is obtained, questionnaire and post test data for the control class and experimental class were normally distributed. Interest data and physics learning outcomes were analyzed using parametric statistics, namely the Independent Sample T-test. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria, H0 is rejected (Ha is accepted) if the sig value is <0.05, meaning that there is an influence of the Nearpod application-based blended learning model on student physics interest. Meanwhile, in the physics learning outcome test, students got the sig value of <0.05, which means that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the Nearpod-based blended learning model on student physics learning outcomes. The application of the blended learning model based on the Nearpod application has a significant effect on students' interest and learning outcomes in physics.

Abstract

The research was conducted in order to find out related to the standardization of physics laboratories in SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember to fulfill the final project of the laboratory management course. This research is included in descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research was conducted on September 22, 2023 at SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember. The subject of our research is the person in charge of the laboratory, laboratory room and laboratory warehouse at SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember. From direct observation there is a laboratory organizational structure, SOP and laboratory rules. Techniques used in this research with data collection using research instruments, namely observation sheets, interview guidelines and documentation. The results of this standardization research are supported by physics laboratory infrastructure in the school with an average of 100% including a very good classification, the standardization of the carrying capacity of the facilities has an average percentage of 100% with a very good classification, the standardization of laboratory personnel has an average percentage of 95% in the very good category, Overall the physics laboratory of SMA Negeri Kalisat Jember has a very good category standardization with an average of 96.6%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the standards of physics laboratory facilities and management at SMA Negeri 1 Mumbusari. This research uses descriptive research methods and a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were laboratory managers, physics study teachers, as well as physics laboratory facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Mumbulsari. The collection technique is by making observations, conducting interviews with laboratory managers, and documentation. The results of the research are that SMA Negeri 1 Mumbulsari has a standard percentage of laboratory space of 67% and a standard percentage of laboratory facilities of 85% with good classification. The physics laboratory administration and management system at SMA Negeri 1 Mumbulsari is very good. So overall the physics laboratory at SMA Negeri 1 Mumbulsari has good standards of laboratory facilities and management

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the management standards of the physics laboratory at SMA Negeri 3 Jember and determine the factors that influence the quality of student learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were school principals, physics teachers, and students in grades X, XI, and XII. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The results of this research indicate that the physics laboratory management standards at SMA Negeri 3 Jember have met national education standards. This can be seen from several aspects, such as planning, implementation, supervision, evaluation and development

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik merupakan masalah di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di salah satu SMA di Jember, proses pembelajaran fisika masih didominasi oleh pengajar. Peserta didik hanya menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang diberikan, sehingga menyebabkan peserta didik kurang mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Model Project Based Learning telah banyak diterapkan dengan hasil yang positif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui Project Based Learning pada rangkaian arus searah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Arjasa, Kabupaten Jember. Responden penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XII-3. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator memberikan penjelasan sederhana sangat baik, indikator membangun keterampilan dasar sangat kurang, indikator menyimpulkan sangat baik, indikator membuat penjelasan lebih lanjut baik, dan indikator mengorganisasikan strategi dan taktik sangat baik. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dapat dimunculkan melalui sintaksis model Project Based Learning, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Project Based Learning dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Karakteristik Kurikulum Merdeka mencakup pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan karakter, penekanan pada materi yang fundamental, serta pembelajaran yang bersifat fleksibel sesuai kebutuhan dan gaya belajar siswa. Pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan karakter ini dilaksanakan melalui Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Namun, pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan differentiated instruction sebagai salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran pendukung keberhasilan program Kurikulum Merdeka belajar masih minim. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru MGMP IPA terkait P5 sekaligus menganalisis respon guru selama kegiatan pelatihan. Metode: metode pengabdian Masyarakat yang digunakan adalah Service Learning (SL) dengan basis Experiential Learning, yang melibatkan tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Data diperoleh melalui pretest, posttest, dan angket respon guru. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung N-gain berbantuan software SPSS. Analisis data menunjukkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,45, berada dalam kategori sedang. Hasil: ini menandakan bahwa pelatihan memberikan dampak yang cukup efektif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru. Selain itu, hasil angket respon guru menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 93,87%, berada dalam kategori respon sangat baik. Kesimpulan: Hasil evaluasi ini menunjukkan bahwa program pelatihan telah memberikan kontribusi yang positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru IPA dalam pembelajaran menggunakan differentiated instruction sebagai upaya menguatkan profil pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

AbstrakUmumnya pembelajaran fisika sangat penting dilaksanakannya praktikum. Namun, pada proses pembelajaran tidak semua topik fisika dilakukannya praktikum seperti pada materi gaya gesek, salah satunya karena keterbatasan alat praktikum. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi saat ini, alat praktikum banyak dikembangkan secara digital. Salah satu perangkat pengembangan alat yang cukup efektif yaitu arduino uno yang memiliki banyak kelebihan. Berbantuan dengan sensor photogate dapat mengukur waktu dan percepatan yang dapat menjadi alat praktikum gaya gesek yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Nieveen et.al. (2006) dengan beberapa langkah yang digunakan yaitu (1) Preliminary research, (2) Prototyping stage, dan (3) Assesment stage (summative evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil R pada uji kalibrasi di setiap sudutnya yaitu <1. Selain itu, nilai error rata-rata pada semua sudut yaitu bernilai <1%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat, sehingga tingkat ketelitian rancang bangun alat praktikum gaya gesek sangat valid.AbstractIn general, the practicum is very substantial to implement in learning physics. However, in the learning process, not all topics of physic need practicum, the friction force material, for instance, due to the limitations of practical tools. Along with the development of today's technology, many practicum tools developed digitally. One device development tool that is quite effective is the Arduino Uno which has many advantages.With the help of the Photogate sensor, it can measure time and acceleration that can be a more effective and efficient friction force practicum tool. This study uses the research method of Nieveenet.al. (2006) in several phases, namely (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping stage, and (3) assessment stage (summative evaluation).The results of this study signify that the outcome of R on the calibration test at every angle is <1. In addition, the average error value at all angles is <1%. This case shows that it has a powerful relationship hence the level of accuracy in the design of the friction force practicum tool is very valid.
