Abstract

Diabetes mellitus atau yang dikenal dimasyarakat sebagai penyakit kencing manis terjadi karena adanya peningkatan kadar glukosa darah akibat penurunan sekresi insulin yang progresif Angka kejadian penyakit DM terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. WHO memprediksi adanya peningkatan jumlah penyandang DM yang menjadi salah satu ancaman kesehatan global. Di Indonesia dari 8,4 juta pada tahun 2021 menjadi 21,3 juta pada tahun2030(Perkeni, 2019).Senamkaki salah satu terapi yang dilakukan perawat kepada klien diabetes melitus.Senam ini bertujuan untuk melancarkan peredaran darahyang terganggu karena senam kaki diabetes dapat membantu memperkuatotot-otot kaki. Senam kaki diabet ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki sirkulasidarah sehingga nutrisi kejaringan lebih lancar, memperkuat otot-otot kecil,ototbetis, dan ototpaha, serta mengatasi keterbatasangerak sendiyangseringdialami oleh penderitadiabetes mellitus, (Wibisono, 2019).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui senam kaki terhadap kekuatan otot pasien diabetes mellitus.Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasy eksperimentaldengan desain one group pre test dan post test.Pada penelitian ini didapat 20 populasi diambil dengan teknik total sampling . Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dari 20 responden ,dengan kekuatan otot 1 dialami 1 responden(%), kekuatan otot 2 dialami 5 responden (25,0%), kekuatan otot 3 dialami 8 responden (40%), kekuatan otot 4 dialami 6 responden (30,0%) .Setelah dilakukan uji simple paired t-test didapat hasil p-vlue <0,000 dimana dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh senam kaki terhadap kekuatan otot pada pasien diabetes mellitus di Rs GrandMed Lubuk Pakam.

Abstract

Sidrap Regency has a reputation as a rice granary and egg production center in South Sulawesi. Currently, the laying hen population reaches 4,940,118 with a daily production of around 100,000 egg racks. This large production volume also produces very high volumes of chicken feces waste. Currently, this waste simply accumulates around the coop without being processed, causing air pollution, disturbing the environment, and causing health problems. The partner in this community service is the EMAS Cooperative, which has many members from various business sectors. However, several livestock businesses within the EMAS Cooperative do not yet have a dynamic business model process that can effectively manage resources, respond to market changes, and ensure business sustainability. Therefore, an innovation is presented in the form of technology for processing chicken feces into solid organic fertilizer in tablet form with market value, accompanied by the development of a dynamic business model to support sustainable business management. This community service activity is carried out in four main stages: field observation, problem analysis and solution determination, tool design and manufacture, and implementation and mentoring. The implementation results showed that farmers gained knowledge and skills in processing chicken feces waste into organic fertilizer inJurnal Tepat (Teknologi Terapan Untuk Pengabdian Masyarakat), Volume 8, Nomor 2, Tahun 20252tablet form, while also being able to apply a dynamic business model in managing the EMAS Cooperative business in a more adaptive and sustainable manner. Furthermore, training effectiveness measurements also showed improvements in all indicators, with the highest achievement being technical knowledge at 91%, followed by practical skills at 71%, conceptual understanding at 41%, and attitude and motivation at 34%. Business planning skills increased by 27%, although lower than other indicators, still indicating positive development and requiring further mentoring. These findings confirm that community service activities not only produce waste management solutions but also strengthen the managerial capacity of farmers in supporting business sustainability.

Abstract

RM Riung Gunung Malino, located in Gowa, faces a major challenge in inventory management, as stock recording of raw materials and products is still carried out manually, making it difficult to monitor inventory accurately. This issue leads to overstocking or stock shortages, which reduce operational efficiency. This community service program was implemented to provide solutions through intensive assistance in structured and applicable inventory management training. The solutions offered include the implementation of a digital stock recording system using the inventory module in the Odoo application, the development of a more systematic manual format based on the concepts of safety stock, Reorder Point (ROP), and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), as well as regular stock monitoring training. The results of the program show an improvement in the partner’s understanding and skills in managing inventory, as evidenced by the ability to create more organized stock records, calculate raw material needs, and determine reorder points accurately. The implemented recording system has proven effective in reducing the risk of stockouts and overstocking, thereby increasing operational efficiency. In addition, the partner has become more confident in managing their business sustainably. Thus, this program provides a tangible contribution to enhancing the competitiveness of culinary MSMEs while promoting business sustainability through effective and measurable inventory management.

Abstract

The annual increase in the number of students from diverse backgrounds in Islamic boarding schools is inevitable. Generally, pesantren are categorized into two types: traditional (salafi) and modern (khalafi). These differences extend beyond the learning system to facilities and access to external environments, which may influence students’ health. This study aimed to analyze differences in health problems (nutritional status, clean and healthy living behavior/PHBS, symptoms of scabies, and suspected tuberculosis) among students in traditional and modern pesantren. This research employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population comprised students from two modern pesantren (An-Nur and Al-Jihad) and two traditional pesantren (Adurriyah and Darul Ubudiyah Raudlatul Muta’alimin). A purposive sampling technique was applied, yielding 154 participants, consisting of 78 students from modern pesantren and 76 students from traditional pesantren. Data were collected through interviews and anthropometric measurements to assess nutritional status. Bivariate analysis was performed to identify differences in health problems between the two types of pesantren, using chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests. Results showed that students in traditional pesantren were 15.6 times more likely to be suspected of tuberculosis compared to those in modern pesantren (OR 15.6). The proportion of undernutrition was 25% in traditional pesantren and 23.1% in modern pesantren. The mean PHBS score was higher in modern pesantren (8.94) compared to traditional pesantren (7.37). These findings highlight the need for strengthened health education, regular medical check-ups, and improved sanitation facilities in pesantren.

Abstract

The food and beverage sector generates a large amount of organic waste, one of which is watermelon rind. Although it contains bioactive compounds such as lycopene, vitamin C, and phenolic compounds with antioxidant properties, watermelon rind is often discarded due to the rapid degradation of these compounds by light and temperature. This study proposes a solution to the aforementioned issue: the microencapsulation of watermelon rind (Citrullus lanatus) extract obtained through maceration. The process utilizes maltodextrin and gum arabic as coating materials and employs oven drying at temperatures of 45C, 50C, and 55C. The DPPH method evaluated strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 70 ppm. Principal component analysis showed the content of Ethyl isoallocholate (31.80%), 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural (7.25%), 7,8-Epoxylanostan-11-ol, 3-acetoxy- (6.10%), and 2,4-Dihydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-3(2H)-furan-3-one (4.04%), where Ethyl isoallocholate inhibited DPPH radicals by 88%. The optimal formulation was achieved with an extract:solvent ratio of 20:80 and a maltodextrin and gum arabic ratio of 1:0, at 50C, yielding 81.161%. The microcapsules formed showed a spherical morphology, a smooth surface and showed small micro-cracks, and an average diameter between 20-80 m. Formulation with maltodextrin and gom arabic ratio of 3:4 at 55C produced the highest solubility (99.92%) and the lowest moisture content (0.97%). This study shows that microencapsulation is able to protect active compounds from degradation and has the potential to become a quality food supplement from natural ingredients, as well as supporting the reduction of organic waste and environmentalpreservation.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri perbankan menuntut setiap bank untuk menjaga tingkat kesehatan keuangan dan operasionalnya guna mempertahankan kepercayaan nasabah dan stabilitas sistem keuangan. Penilaian kesehatan bank diperlukan untuk memantau kinerja dan mengidentifikasi potensi risiko yang dapat memengaruhi keberlangsungan usaha. Salah satu metode penilaian yang digunakan adalah Risk Based Bank Rating (RBBR), yang menilai kesehatan bank berdasarkan empat faktor utama, yaitu Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earning, dan Capital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kesehatan Bank Bukopin Syariah selama periode 2021–2023 dengan menggunakan pendekatan RBBR. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder yang diambil dari laporan keuangan tahunan bank dan publikasi penilaian GCG. Analisis dilakukan dengan menghitung rasio keuangan yang mencerminkan risiko kredit, likuiditas, efisiensi, profitabilitas, serta kecukupan modal, kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar penilaian kesehatan bank yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan faktor Risk Profile, Bank Bukopin Syariah berada pada kategori Sehat, mencerminkan risiko yang terkendali. Faktor Good Corporate Governance memperoleh predikat Sehat, menunjukkan penerapan tata kelola yang baik. Dari sisi Earning, bank berada pada kategori Tidak Sehat, mengindikasikan kinerja profitabilitas yang belum optimal. Sementara itu, faktor Capital dinilai Sangat Sehat, menunjukkan permodalan yang kuat dan berada jauh di atas ketentuan minimum.
