Abstract

The defense system of the country has developed a technology which has an intelligence and an accuracy level that are high enough to help maintain the stability of the country in a more optimal state. The Cavalry Battalion combat vehicles, as one of the examples, is used to attack and demolish the enemy’s base by constructing a special formation in its movement towards the attack position based on the command of the leader in the front line. Based on the existing development of the technology, in this study, a simulation of the robot colony movement was made before the real implementation stage. In the simulation, the movement of the robot colony was designed like a Cavalry Battalion formation when it determines a track to its attack position. The colony was created by using 3 robotic simulation. The methods used included fuzzy Sugeno, robotic formation, and obstacle avoidance. The formation creation based on the instruction of the robot’s leader before and after passing the obstacle could be done by sending the coordinates of the destination which was done by the robot’s leader, coordinating the speed which was made based on the distance of each robot to another robot, and enabling the robots ability to provide the movements decision itself when it passed through the obstacle. The average errors of follower robot A toward the target goal given by its leader of the X-axis was 4,834%, and 1,905% on the Y axis. The average error of follower robot B the target goal given by its leader of the X-axis was 3,974% and 2,415% on the Y axis.

Abstract

Embedded electronic control system applied by car manufacturers on car engines manufactured today are ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Every car brand has a different ECU. To be able to diagnose car engine damage from a variety brands of car need a cheap diagnostic scanner and compatible with many brands of car.In order for technician from not official car manufacturers workshop can make a diagnostic and repair the damage of car engines from variety brands with ease, perform realtime monitoring and can do datalogging parameter values of sensor data in the SD card when realtime monitoring process, then made a General Diagnostic Scanner system for access car ECU with OBD-2 serial communication at affordable cost.Based on the test results showed that OBD-2 serial communication along with the compatible data retrival of ECU parameters between GDS system with  Chevrolet estate 2009 and Ford fiesta 2012 cars ECU that consist of OBD-2 ISO 9141-2 and ISO 15765 (CAN) communication protocol can do 100% success with 7 compatible ECU parameters in Chevrolet estate and 100% success with 9 compatible ECU parameters (all parameters) in Ford fiesta. In ECU realtime monitoring testing, GDS system can do realtime monitoring with an average error 5,01% in Chevrolet estate for 7 ECU parameters and 5,86 % in Ford fiesta for 9 ECU parameters. And from damage diagnostic testing result, GDS system can do car engine damage diagnostic with success when in idle condition and when the car in running position for speed parameter in Chevolet estate and Ford fiesta cars that give warning “melebihi batas normal” when excedded threshold limit of normal engine cars limit which has been adapted for the consideration of testing. In datalogging testing, GDS system cannot do datalogging process and not success for save realtime monitoring data process into SDHC card.Keywords: ECU, Diagnostic, Realtime Monitoring, Datalogging, General Diagnostic Scanner.

Abstract

Blood pressure measuring device is one of the tools people use to measure blood pressure. Therefore, many of the technologies used to develop a blood pressure measuring device. This study has been designed a blood pressure data transmission on android using a Bluetooth connection. The blood pressure measuring device can measure blood pressure using a pressure sensor MPX 5100DP. Then the data is processed by microcontroller and displayed on the LCD and also on android by the bluetooth connection with HC-05. In this study obtained average systolic measurement error is equal to 3.687% and the average diastolic measurement error is equal to 4.768%.

Abstract

Currently many farmers who use bran-breaking machine on the market, but there is a disadvantage that efiensi usage. In this study bran crusher motor to drive breaker controlled amount of paddy rice that gets broken skin. For his future is expected this study can be used to help farmers in order to regulate fuel efficiency. The purpose of the design and manufacture of these devices is How to improve engine performance broke the skin becomes automatic. How to make a fuzzy system to control the speed of the motor. How to create a user interface that is easy to use by the user. After further investigation the author uses the methods used in this problem is the fuzzy method, because it is flexible in the sense that the method is able to adapt to the changes that are influenced by the environment. Fuzzy method is divided into three methods: mamdani, Sugeno, and sukamoto. In this case I use the Sugeno method for research. There are several processes through which to control the motor speed breaker bran. The process is fuzzyfikasi, ruleset, and defuzzyfication. Through the process is expected to be the motor rotates in accordance with the amount of rice in the bin. The result of the process is a fuzzy PWM value (Pulse Width Modulation), and will be displayed on the LCD. From this study, the motor moves faster when rice is very much in the bin, the more slowly when the rice in the bin on the wane. And will stop when there are no rice in the bin.

Abstract

Mobile robot is a type of robot that is able to move from one point to another. Mobile robot detects the surrounding objects and process it with the courtesy of webcam. With this particular superiority, mobile robot can facilitate human’s work. One of the human’s work that can be facilitated by mobile robot is any works within security field. Security tools used up until now is a surveillance camera, which has a downside of blind spots. Mobile robot is able to facilitate human’s works with goals of strengthen the security by reducing blind spots.Along with the concerned mobile robot, the author would like to establish a robot that is capable to follow human while walking. The type of mobile robot used in this research is Robotino. The robot follows the human the time when the webcam detected human bodies. The robot’s webcam then, process the image received so that it can detect human bodies using image processing with Haar-like feature method. Then, the robot approaches the human body target that is already detected, using fuzzy logic to control the movement of robot.The human body tracking is capable to detect human body with the most effective detection range of 1-4 meters from the webcam of the robot. The robot is also able to perform tracking towards human bodies with the error rate of 9.6515875 %.

Abstract

Kontribusi  sektor  industri  terhadap  pendapatan  nasional  menggambarkan  sejauh  mana tinggkat  industrialisasi  telah  dicapai  oleh  suatu  negara.  Bagi  negara-negara  yang  sedang berkembang  peranan  sektor  pertanian  masih  dianggap  lebih  unggul  dan  mendominasi  seluruh kegiatan  sektor  ekonomi  lainnya.  Peranan  sektor  industri  belum  mampu  mengungguli  sektor pertanian yang hampir memberikan sumbangan lebih dari separuh terhadap pendapatan nasional bruto.  Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui pola sebaran spasial pabrik rokok, proses spasial pabrik rokok dan dampak spasial perkembangan pabrik rokok terhadap lahan Pertanian di Kabupaten  Kudus.  Data  dikumpulkan  dengan  cara  dokumentasi  dan  observasi.  Data  penelitian dianalisis  menggunakan  teknik  analisis  Sistem  Informasi  Geografi  (SIG),  analisis  temporal   dananalisis  deskriptif.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  perubahan  lahan  pertanian  oleh  pabrik rokok  di  Kabupaten  Kudus  yang  mengalami  peningkatan  yang  terjadi  pada  tahun  1998  sampai tahun  2010.  Pola  spasial  perkembangan  pabrik  rokok  yang  terjadi  di  Kabupaten  Kudus  berpola spasial  secara  lompat  katak  hampir  di  seluruh  bagian  wilayah  lahan  pertanian  di  Kabupaten Kudus.  Proses  spasial  pabrik  rokok  dari  lahan  pertanian  teralih  guna  menjadi  pabrik  rokok  di Kabupaten  Kudus.  Simpulan  dari  penelitian  ini  adalah  memanfaatkan  lahan  yang  berada  di Kabupaten  Kudus  dengan  adanya  pabrik  rokok  di  lahan  pertanian.  Di  harapkan  pembangunan pabrik rokok lebih diarahkan ke lahan yang tidak subur atau non irigasi. Hal ini disebabkan jika perkembangan  spasial  pabrik  tidak  di  arahkan  pada  lokasi  tertentu.  Dampak  spasial  yang ditimbulkan akan terus mengurangi luasan lahan pertanian. Industrial  sectors  contribution  to  national  income  tinggkat  illustrates  the  extent  to  whichindustrialization  has been achieved  by a country.  For countries  emerging  role of  the agricultural sector  is stillconsidered superior  and  dominate  all activities of  other economic sectors.  The role of  the industrial sector  has not  been  able  to  surpass  the  agricultural  sector  contributing  almost  more  than  half  of  the  gross  national income.The  purpose  of  this  research  is  knowing  the  spatial  distribution  patterns  of  cigarette  factory,  process spatial cigarette factory and  spatial impact of smoking on the  cigarette factory  development of agriculture land in  the Kudus.  Data were collected by means of documentation and  observation. Data were technic analyzed using analysis of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), temporal analyzed and a descriptive analysis.  The results showed that changes in agricultural land  by  cigarette factory  at Kudus  has increased the occurred in 1998  until 2010. The spatial pattern of cigarette factory development  in the Kudus  leap frog spatial pattern in almost all parts of the agricultural land in Kudus District. Spatial processes of cigarette factory was use change from  agricultural   land to  cigarette  factory  in Kudus.  The conclusions  of  this study  is to utilize  land  located  inKudus cigarette factory in the presence of agricultural land. Expect cigarette factory building in more directed toland that is not  fertile  or  non-irrigated.  It  is caused when the spatial  development of  the plant  is not  directed to the location certain. Spatial impact generated will continue to reduce the area of agricultural land

Abstract

Kabupaten Pemalang merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan karakteristik  perekonomian  yang  didominasi  oleh  sektor  pertanian. Sub  sektor  tanaman  pangan sebagai bagian dari sektor pertanian memiliki peranan yang sangat penting terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi  nasional.  Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  komoditas  unggulan  pertanian tanaman  pangan  dan  daya  saing  wilayah  di  Kabupaten  Pemalang.Hasil  penelitian  komoditas unggulan  meliputi  keunggulan  komparatif  dan  kompetitif.Analisis  Locationt  Quotient  (LQ) digunakan  untuk  mengetahui  keunggulan  komparatif  suatu  wilayah  sedangkan  analisis  Revenue Cost  digunakan  untuk  mengetahui  keunggulan  kompetitif  suatu  komoditas.  Hasil  analisis  LQ menunjukan  bahwa  tanaman  padi  memiliki  penyebaran  wilayah  paling  luas  yang  meliputi Kecamatan  Randudongkal,  Pemalang,  Taman,  Petarukan,  Ampelgading,  Comal,  dan  Kecamatan Ulujami. Sedangkan metode RC sebagai salah satu pendekatan model pengujian keuntungan cabang usahatani menunjukkan bahwa seluruh komoditas tanaman pangan memiliki keunggulan kompetitif karena  nilai  RC  >  1.Nilai  RC  tertinggi  untuk  komoditas  tanaman  pangan  adalah  tanaman padi.Dilihat dari  keunggulan komparatif dan  kompetitif  berdasarkan  pada  nilai  tertinggi diperoleh kesimpulan  bahwa  tanaman  padi  adalah  komoditas  unggulan  tanaman  pangan di  Kabupaten Pemalang.Keragaan  daya  saing  wilayah  dengan  metode  Penskalaan  dan  juga  memperhatikan keunggulan komparatif dan kompetitif dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sumber daya alam, profil tumbuh tanaman, pola tanam, nilai ekonomi produksi, dan topografi suatu wilayah. Pemalang Regency is one of regency in Central Java with the characteristics of an  economy that is dominated by the agricultural sector. Crops sub sector as part of the agricultural sector has a very important roleon the growth of the national economy. The purpose of this study was determined bases commodities of food crop and  competitiveness  of  the  region.  The  result  of  commodities  bases  covered  comparative and competitive. The method  of  Location  Quotient  (LQ)  was  used  to  determined  commparative  advantage  of  a  region  whereas Revenue Cost (RC)analysis used to knowing competitive advantage of a commodity. LQ analysis result showed that  rice  has  the  most  wide  spread  of  areas  covering  Sub-district  of  Randudongkal,  Pemalang,  Taman, Petarukan, Ampelgading,  Comal  and  Ulujami.  The  method  of  RC  as  one  approaches  the  brench  of  farming profit testing models showed that the whole farming of food crops have a competitive advantage because the value of RC showed > 1. The higest  of RC value for food crops  commodities was rice plants. Seen from  the highest value of comparative and competitive advantages can  be concluded that rice is the superiority of food crops in Pemalang. The competitiveness variability of the region by the method of scaling and also looking camparative and competitive advantage was influenced by natural resource endownments, the profile of the growing plants, the production economi value and area topography

Abstract

This study aimed to test whether capital structure consisting of Debt Ratio (DR) , Debt Equity Ratio (DER) andFinancial Performance comprised of Earning Per Share (EPS) , Return on Equity (ROE) affect the Stock Price .The population in this study is a manufacturing company that listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange(BEI) in 2006-2010 . The sampling technique used in this study is the purposive sampling in which the samplewas selected on the basis of certain considerations or criteria and the number of samples obtained in the studywas 16 Textile and Garment companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Abstract

Capital is required in farm to buy input such as fertilizer, pesticide, seed, land rent, labor wage, and to adopt the latest technology. To ease the burden of loan interest and to increase the access of farm to formal credit, the government provides interest subsidy for Food Security and Energy Credit (Kredit Ketahanan Pangan dan Energi, KKP-E). This study was aimed to analyze the impact of accessing KKP-E on paddy farms’ performance. The methods used in this study are descriptive analysis and propensity score matching model. Accessibility of KKP-E in research location was able to increase fertilizer use of 16.98 percent, pesticide use of 40.23 percent, labor outside farm household use of 43.08 percent, production of 58 percent, productivity of 23.64 percent, and farm profit of 84.5 percent. This quite high increase in percentage was due to the reason that farm business scale in this study was categorized as small-scale business.

Abstract

Pengujian unjuk kerja telah dilakukan pada prototipe evaporator tipe lapisan tipis jatuh (falling film) efek tunggal untuk memekatkan larutan gelatin yang dibuat dari kulit ikan tuna. Bahan pengujian adalah larutan gelatin sebanyak 180 liter dengan padatan total awal 3,5% kamudian dipekatkan dalam evaporator dengan laju air masuk 84 liter/jam. Evaporator ini dioperasikan pada tekanan vakum sekitar 2,5 cmHg pada suhu penguapan bahan 55ºC dari sumber panas uap (steam boiler) dengan tekanan 2,5-4,0 kg/cm². Rata-rata suhu bahan yang masuk ke evaporator adalah 32ºC. Larutan yang telah melalui permukaan evaporasi dikembalikan lagi ke tangki umpan dan dievaporasikan lagi secara berulang-ulang (sirkulasi) sampai larutan menjadi kental yang tampak seperti madu. Akhir evaporasi manghasilkan volume produk sebanyak 30 liter dengan padatan total 9,1% yang diselesaikan dalam waktu 5 jam. Dengan demikian kapasitas evaporator ini adalah 30 liter air teruapkan per jam dan tingkat ekonomi uap adalah 0,78 liter air teruapkan dari bahan per kg uap pemanas yang digunakan. Luas permukaan evaporasi dari evaporator ini adalah 1,67 m², dengan menggunakan persamaan pindah panas dan neraca entalpi didapatkan koefisien pindah panas keseluruhan sebesar 668 W/m² ºC. Konsumsi bahan bakar dari evaporator ini adalah 3,58 liter/jam atau 0,12 liter minyak tanah per liter air teruapkan sehingga efisiensi energi bahan bakar evaporator ini sebesar 60%. Konsumsi energi listrik pada pengujian ini 34,7 kWh, dengan demikian efisiensi energi keseluruhan dari evaporator ini action 50%.
