Abstract

This study examines the urgency of teacher's emotional competence within the Islamic education context, which focuses not only on academic achievement but also on character building (akhlaqul karimah). The objective of this article is to theoretically and conceptually analyze the influence of teacher's emotion management on classroom climate and student learning motivation by integrating modern psychological frameworks with the principles of Islamic pedagogy. The research method employed is a systematic literature review with a thematic analysis of educational psychology journals, research within the Islamic education context, and scriptural evidence from the Qur'an and Hadith. The analysis reveals that a teacher's emotion management, explained through Goleman's Emotional Intelligence model and the Prosocial Classroom framework, significantly shapes a positive and supportive classroom climate. This climate, in turn, serves as a crucial mediator that enhances student learning motivation. In the Islamic educational context, the teacher's role as an Uswatun Hasanah (a good role model) reinforces this influence, while student learning motivation is deepened through the spiritual foundations of niyyah (intention) and the conceptualization of learning as a form of ibadah (worship). The implication of these findings is that emotional competence is not merely a professional skill but an integral part of the spiritual and pedagogical competencies that teachers in Islamic schools must possess to create a holistic learning environment

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan Pelatihan motivasi bagi lembaga pendidikan PAUD untuk memperhatikan keterampilan yang dimiliki para siswanya dan memberikan pembekalan positif kepada anak untuk masa yang akan datang.Metode. yang digunakan menggunakan konsep pelatihan dimana peserta diberikan pembekalan materi dan Pelatihan Model Pengelolaan Pembelajaran 4 C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication Collaboration) Dalam Mengembangkan Aspek Tumbuh Kembang Anak Usia Dini 5 – 6 Tahun..Hasil Pengabdian ini yaitu 1) dengan diimplementasikannya keterampilan abad ke-21 yang disebut dengan 4C adalah guru harus melakukan komunikasi dengan baik terhadap siswa secara terus menerus dalam berbagai keadaan. Sososialisasi pada siswa diperlukan karena masa anak-anak adalah masa bermain. Ketika siswa bermain dengan teman sebayanya, siswa akan secara alami melakukan interaksi sosial dengan temannya. Sering mengajak siswa berkomunikasi memberikan dampak positif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berkomunikasi anak. Hal ini akan menstimulasi otak anak untuk mencontoh penggunaan kalimat yang baik. Selain itu keterampilan abad ke-21 siswa dilatih untuk menjelaskan dan bertukar informasi dengan temannya ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung, belajar cara menyampaikan informasi dengan benar, sehingga dapat dimengerti dan dipahami oleh temannya. Peran guru PAUD disini adalah sebagai fasilitator. Keterampilan abad ke-21(4C) dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kerjasama dalam suatu kelompok untuk menyelesaikan masalah tertentu, meningkatkan rasa toleransinya terhadap perbedaan pendapat teman, berusaha untuk berpikir kritis dan kreatif untuk memecahkan permasalahan tentang mengkaitkan sesuatu. Kata kunci: Keterampilan, Abad 21 (4C)

Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of Religius Character of Students Through the Habituation Method at SDIT Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Karawang The implementation of character education for students has many challenges, one of which is resistance from the students themselves as well as the lack of exemplary educators. Efforts are made through habituation methods through school programs and supervised implementation by teachers. This study aims to describe the teacher's efforts to shape the religius character of students at SDIT Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Karawang through the habituation method. The approach in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are teachers and students. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing steps. The results of the study show that the teacher's efforts in forming religius character through habituation methods include the habituation of smiles, greetings, and salim (3S), the habit of reading daily prayers, the habit of worshiping, the habit of reading the Koran and the habit of living clean and healthy. The supporting factors in the formation of the religius character of students are parents, all school members and adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai instrumen pendidikan moderasi beragama pada generasi muda, mengingat peran media sosial sangat vital kendati menjadi gaya hidup anak muda dari berbagai lintas generasi. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data melalui wawancara Kepala seksi bimas Islam Kemenag Kab. Subang /Dewan penasehat Forum kerukunan umat beragama (FKUB) Kab. Subang, Redaktur Media Pasundan Ekspres, Founder dari Subang Info, dan Pengurus Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa Islam (LAPMI) HMI Cabang Subang. Sementara teknik analisis dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data yang sudah didapat, menyajikan data yang sudah direduksi dan memverifikasi data.Temuan yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu maraknya kasus informasi hoax dan intoleransi yang berpotensi konflik pada kalangan masyarakat, terutama generasi muda yang menggunakan media sosial. Informasi hoax tersebut cepat menyebar ke berbagai platform media sosial. Pemanfaatan media sosial dalam membendung informasi hoax secara berkala sangat efektif dalam melawan hoax.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: 1) ascertain the level of YouTube Kids viewing in the Karawang Barat district; 2) ascertain the evolution of the speech abilities of children aged 5 to 6; and 3) ascertain the impact of YouTube Kids viewing intensity on the speaking abilities of children aged 5 to 6 in the Karawang Barat districts. Ex Post Facto was the qualitative method employed in the study, and 237 respondents were chosen by random sample procedures. We use an online tool to gather data. Analysis of research data: SPSS Version 23.0 for Windows is used in this study to do basic linear regression analysis. Based on the study's findings, it was determined that children in the Karawang Barat district watch YouTube Kids at a medium intensity, scoring a 57% presentation score, and that their speaking abilities develop at a preset rate of 59.9%, which is in line with expectations. A linear regression test yields a significance result (Sig) of 0.0010.05, indicating a significant relationship (R square score of 4.2% ) between the amount of time children aged 5–6 watch YouTube Kids (X) and their capacity to speak.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) supported by animated media in Aqidah Akhlak instruction at MI Bahrul Ulum Majalaya. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the learning process, teacher strategies, and student responses to the implementation of PBL integrated with animated media. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by thematic analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of PBL supported by animated media enhances student engagement and understanding of Akidah Akhlak material. Students actively participate in identifying problems, discussing solutions, and presenting group work outcomes, thereby strengthening their critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills. Observation data showed that approximately 90% of students demonstrated attention and active participation during the learning process. Additionally, the learning process became more interactive and contextual, thereby fostering increased student motivation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of PBL with animation media in Akidah Akhlak instruction within the context of elementary madrasahs through a qualitative case study approach, a topic that has rarely been explored in depth. Although there were constraints in the form of limited teacher technological competence and digital facilities, these did not significantly hinder the effectiveness of learning. Overall, the findings of this study indicate that PBL supported by animated media is an effective approach in improving the quality of learning, although it still requires support in the form of technological and facility enhancements. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of innovative learning strategies in elementary education, particularly in Akidah Akhlak instruction

Abstract

The low level of pre-writing skills among 4–5-year-old children at TK Islam Mutiara, East Karawang, is the central issue addressed in this study. The objective is to determine the difference in pre-writing abilities before and after the implementation of a creative sewing activity. This research employed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, which measures the same group before and after the intervention. The study population consisted of all 30 children in Group A, with a sample of 16 selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data were collected through a pretest, eight sewing activity sessions as treatment, and a posttest. The analysis results show an increase in the average pre-writing skill score from 42.00 (pretest) to 68.06 (posttest). A hypothesis test using the Paired Sample t-Test yielded a t value of 40.188 > t table value of 2.131, indicating a significant difference between the scores before and after the intervention. Thus, the creative sewing activity was proven to have a positive and significant impact on improving pre-writing skills in early childhood. The study’s implications highlight the importance of integrating fine motor activities, such as creative sewing, into the learning process to effectively and practically support children's writing readiness.

Abstract

  This study aims to analyze human resource development (HRD) strategies in Islamic education through a literature review approach. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study, where data are collected from various relevant academic sources such as journals and books, and then analyzed descriptively. The results show that human resource development in Islamic education is not only focused on improving professional competencies but also on strengthening character and spiritual values. HRD strategies are implemented through training and development, career development, performance evaluation, as well as modern approaches such as talent management and sustainable human resource practices. In addition, the quality of human resources is influenced by internal, external, and organizational factors. The impact of HR development can be seen in improving individual performance, institutional quality, and organizational competitiveness in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the managerial strategies of school principals in integrating intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ), and spiritual intelligence (SQ) to optimize the growth and development of early childhood in Islamic early childhood education institutions. The integration of these three dimensions of intelligence is important because early childhood development emphasizes not only cognitive aspects, but also character building, emotional management, and the internalization of spiritual values. This study uses a qualitative, multi-site case study design conducted across three Islamic kindergartens in Karawang Regency. The multi-site design was chosen to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of variations in managerial strategies across institutions. Research data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to school principals and teachers, comprising closed- and open-ended questions to explore managerial planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation practices in the development of children's holistic intelligence. The data were analyzed descriptively and thematically to identify patterns of managerial strategies applied at each research location. The results showed that principals applied integrative strategies by implementing holistic learning planning, strengthening teacher collaboration, structuring task-sharing, and instilling religious values in daily learning activities. These strategies support the balanced development of children in cognitive, social-emotional, and spiritual aspects. However, this study also found several obstacles, including limited teacher competence, limited learning time, and variations in parental support. This study recommends strengthening teacher professional development, increasing synergy between schools and parents, and strengthening integrative management to improve the quality of Islamic early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in instilling the habits of obligatory prayer, reading the Qur'an, and fasting during Ramadan in 10-year-old children within the family environment. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation of parents of 10-year-old children. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that parents have a very important role in forming children's worship habits through role models, habituation, mentoring, supervision, and motivation. Modeling is done by providing direct examples in carrying out worship, while habituation is done through routine worship implementation in daily life. Assistance is provided when children learn to read the Qur'an and perform worship, while supervision and motivation are carried out to maintain children's consistency in carrying out worship. Worship habits instilled include obligatory prayer, reading the Qur'an, and fasting during Ramadan. The research findings indicate that active parental involvement and a religious family environment are important factors in shaping children's religious character from an early age. Thus, the family has a strategic role in instilling religious values ​​and forming sustainable worship habits in children.
