Abstract

This study raises the case of a judge's rejection of a claim for compensation for the management of a dowry dispute at the Bantaeng Religious Court. The case involved a couple who separated after the husband took back the land that had previously been used as dowry. Although the judge decided to return the land to the wife, the judge rejected the wife's claim for compensation for the management of the land. In this context, the rule of Al'adatu Muhakkamah is one of the principles used in determining the law when there is no shar'i evidence that explicitly explains it. This study aims to analyze the judge's decision to refuse compensation for the results of the management of the dowry dispute and analyze the use of the Al'adatul Muhakkamah rule in the decision. The research method used is normative legal research method with a qualitative approach. The qualitative approach was chosen to describe the research results with sentences that categorize the data according to certain categories. With this approach, the research can provide in-depth conclusions about the application of the Al'adatu Muhakkamah rule in the judge's decision. The research findings show that the judge should have granted the compensation claim based on the analysis of the al-'adatul muhakkamah rule. Islamic law aims to realize human welfare, including by recognizing that customs that are still valid for generations have a significant influence in determining legal decisions. However, the main principle of sharia must still be the top priority, especially if there is a conflict between custom and Islamic Law.

Abstract

Cases of removing watermarks on creative videos on Tiktok often harm content creators because the videos are taken unfairly. Researchers identified a problem in this that was found to be a short video from TikTok that was uploaded back to TikTok and other platforms without including a watermark where the watermark was a sign of protection of intellectual property rights of the original video owner. This research uses research methods Normative legal research or library research is research that examines document studies using various secondary data such as laws and regulations, court decisions, legal theories, and can be in the form of scholars' opinions. The form of loss felt by the content creator himself to the exploration of his videos without watermarks is certainly the most detrimental to the identity of his work and the economic value that makes the content creator himself decrease his income. Not only that, but actually the Copyright Law has carried out legal protection for content creators whose videos are deliberately removed watermarks on the video. Wahbah Zuhaili himself views the case as a form of idea theft and can be subject to civil and administrative sanctions. In this case Wahbah Zuhaili himself is in line with copyright law.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of location and price on repurchase interest in decisions made at Tangerang City's Madura grocery stalls. This study used a descriptive empirical approach by taking an intencional sampling of one hundred Madura grocery stall customers. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) path analysis. The research found that price and location have a major influence on purchasing decisions; In addition, purchasing decisions serve as important mediators in the relationship between price and repurchase interest, as well as location and repurchase interest. The conclusion of this study is that Madurese grocery stalls must maintain strategically affordable prices and locations to drive customers' repurchase decisions and interests. To explore the factors influencing the popularity of Madura grocery stalls, future research may consider factors such as service quality.

Abstract

Exploitation is one of the problems based on poverty, the situation results in a change in perspective so that it justifies any means to continue living. Children are often victims of exploitation where parents/guardians order children to busk, beg, sell on the side of the road and others. Along with the times with the sophistication of technology, these actions have also developed, with new packaging that is neatly covered in such a way that exploitation is carried out by making children the object of content creators. Children are ordered to live on social media platforms such as shopee live whose scope is used to sell and gain profit. the prosecution carried out against child exploitation on social media is still of little concern, this states that there is a legal disparity where child exploitation on the streets is more firmly dealt with. The purpose of the research is to review from a juridical point of view with regulations relating to child exploitation while emphasizing that children who are used as objects of content creators are also a form of child exploitation, both of which have the same essence, namely involving children for profit, only the container makes the difference. This research uses normative juridical methods (legal research). The results of this study confirm that based on Law No.35 of 2014 concerning child protection and Law No.13 of 2003 concerning labor that people who make children as objects of content creators are included in child exploitation because they take advantage of children and sacrifice children's rights. The government and law enforcement officials and related agencies should pay more attention to this and take action in accordance with the relevant laws.

Abstract

Introduction: The people of Aek Korsik village carry out Marabit bathing activities in the river because the majority of the people of Aek Korsik village do not have a well and those who do have a well sometimes feel water difficulties and the distance of their houses to the river is very close to travel. The community admitted that they did not cover all their awrah when bathing, and felt that it was natural that not all their awrah could be covered when they were in the riverPurposes of the Research:  This study aims to describe the habits of the Aek Korsik people of Sungai Kanan District who practice bathing in one place in the river between men and women which is referred to as the Marabit bathMethods of the Research: This study aims to describe the habits of the Aek Korsik people of Sungai Kanan District who practice bathing in one place in the river between men and women which is referred to as the Marabit bath Results of the Research: The results of the study show that the habit of bathing in Marabit carried out by the people of Aek Korsik village is prohibited in Islam because it shows aurat. The reason for bathing in the river in the same place between men and women is because there is no well at home, there is often a lack of water, and this has been a habit of the people of Aek Korsik village since ancient times. If viewed from an Islamic point of view, that bathing in the river carried out by the people of Aek Korsik village and in general the river is passed by the community every day to carry out various activities is a very forbidden act, because it opens the awrah. While every Muslim and Muslim is obliged to cover the awrah, by covering the awrah can avoid committing adultery.

Abstract

Shooting exercises in Indonesia typically use simple bulls-eye targets on wooden boards with sand backstops, requiring manual setup and score calculation. This setup is inefficient, especially for long-range shooting, as operators must walk far to retrieve targets, and bullets embedded in sand are hard to recycle. This project developed an advanced shooting target featuring a bullet collector, semi-automatic target setup, automatic scoring, and target monitoring. A system with such complete features is not available in the market. This target system has a roll of bulls-eye paper and the roller is powered by a servo motor controlled by a switch to command a fresh new page of bulls-eye its positioning is helped by an infrared sensor to detect markers in the paper for correct positioning. This system is equipped with a bullet collector system by directing the bullet to a container using 450 angled armor and a layer of sand in the container to stop the bullet. This system is also equipped with a camera pointing to the bulls-eye paper and its output is transmitted to a monitor close to the shooter to identify bullet tracks for evaluating his shooting performance and to improve his shooting strategy. The image from the same camera is used for image processing with the OpenCV library and Python scripts to calculate the shooting score automatically. Several physical tests have been conducted and the system proves to perform reasonably well in the tests with some errors of around 3% for single bullet holes and simple multiple bullet holes. Based on test results, the pistol bullets have quite different properties from the rifle bullets. Pistol bullets follow the impact deflection with a coefficient of restitution e = 0 while rifle bullets follow the impact deflection with e ≈ 0.5. The pistol bullets are completely disintegrated after impact while the rifle bullets are just distorted.

Abstract

Abstract

A situational analysis based on research conducted by Muhasidah et al. (2023) on 128 respondents showed that more than 50% of them suffered from Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Among these, 67 respondents had hypertension, with 32 not taking hypertension medication regularly and 8 not taking medication at all. The irregular intake of antihypertensive drugs can lead to complications such as stroke, heart abnormalities, and kidney disease. Makassar City recorded a total of 5,632 hypertension cases (8.9%), the highest prevalence in South Sulawesi. Karunrung Subdistrict, under the working area of the Kassi-kassi Community Health Center, had the highest cases of hypertension in Makassar City. The implementing partner's priority problem was the high rate of hypertension in the area, along with the absence of an Integrated Development Post (Posbindu) for NCDs. The target partner community also lacked awareness about the importance of consistently taking antihypertensive medication to prevent complications such as stroke, heart abnormalities, and kidney disorders. The objectives of this activity were to establish an Integrated Development Post (Posbindu) for NCDs, increase the target partner's knowledge and ability to conduct Posbindu activities, educate families about the prevention and management of NCDs, and reduce the incidence of NCDs by 20–30% within one year. The proposed solutions included training target groups, providing guidebooks, implementing the five-table Posbindu NCD activities, encouraging the community to participate in weekly physical exercise for NCDs, and distributing guidebooks on NCDs and Posbindu activities prepared by the community service team. The partner's contribution included providing a permanent facility that could be used as the Posbindu NCD. The expected outcomes of this activity were the establishment of a Posbindu NCD in RW 08, increased knowledge among target partners from 50% to 80%, the initiation of weekly NCD exercise sessions, and a reduction in NCD cases by 20–30% during the year. The community service results showed significant improvement in knowledge, understanding, and attitudes among cadres and individuals with NCDs. A Posbindu was successfully established with the help of the community service team and implementing partners, including the Kassi-kassi Health Center. The sustainability of the Posbindu activities will be handed over to the implementing partners, namely the Kassi-kassi Health Center and the local community groups (Majelis Taklim).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the types of seagrasses and the distribution patterns of seagrass found in Ulea coastal waters. The coastal waters of Ulea Hamlet are a potential and strategic area for seagrass growth, because the area is located on the edge of a bay that has good currents and water parameters and requires oceanographic conditions in the normal range including current and wave speeds and tidal heights and Normal concentrations of water nutrient content make it possible for the growth of seagrass habitats. This research is quantitative research, using the method of taking line transect samples from the research results of the seagrass distribution patterns found in the waters of Ulea Beach which are clustered. Based on the morisita distribution index value, it is 1.37. There are 3 types of seagrasses found at the research location which come from 2 families, namely the Thalassia hemprichii and Enhalus acoroides types from the Hydrocaritaceae family, the Cymodoceae rotundata type from the Potamogetonaceae family.
