Abstract

Objectives. This study seeks to:1)determine if there is a relationship between sleep quality and shooting results in petanque games; 2) assess whether stress correlates with shooting results in petanque games. The findings of this study may serve as a valuable resource for coaches aiming to enhance the performance of petanque athletes, particularly in the area of shooting results improvement. Materials and Methods. This investigation is of a correlational nature. The participants in this study consisted solely of novice petanque players located in Central Sulawesi. A total of 31 individuals participated in the study. The instruments or methods for collecting data from the three variables include the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire, a stress measurement questionnaire, and a petanque shooting test. The analysis employed in this study to examine the data is the partial correlation test. Results. The findings from the study indicate that the significance value for the relationship between sleep quality and shooting results in the petanque game is 0.892 ( > 0.05). This suggests that the alternative hypothesis in this study is accepted, while the null hypothesis is not accepted. This indicates that there is no correlation between sleep quality and shooting performance in the petanque game; 2) The significance value found for the relationship between stress variables and shooting performance variables in the petanque game is 0.934 ( > 0.05). This suggests that the alternative hypothesis in this study is accepted, while the null hypothesis is not accepted. This indicates that there is no correlation between stress levels and performance outcomes in petanque games. Conclusion. The findings of this study indicate the following: 1) No correlation exists between sleep quality and shooting performance in petanque; 2) No correlation exists between stress levels and shooting performance in petanque.

Abstract

The research conducted at the Datu Sanggul Hospital in Rantau focuses on developing a strategic plan for enhancing the quality of healthcare services through Information System (IS) and Information Technology (IT) implementation. The study aims to address the challenges faced by the hospital in optimizing its Management Information System and Medical Record (SIM & RM) unit. By utilizing the Ward & Peppard framework, the research progresses through stages including problem formulation, data collection, and strategy formulation. Through interviews, focus group discussions, and data analysis, the current business strategies and IT infrastructure are evaluated. External factors such as PEST analysis and Five Forces analysis are also considered to understand the hospital's position in the industry. The findings from these analyses serve as inputs for the SWOT analysis, which helps in identifying the hospital's current standing and areas for improvement. The study further delves into developing IS business strategies and IT roadmap planning based on critical success factors and business needs. By aligning IS/IT strategies with business goals, the research aims to provide recommendations for enhancing the hospital's information system infrastructure and management practices.

Abstract

Pelatihan terapi ice bath solusi mengantasi cedera otot berkepanjangan. Permasalahan (1) Rendahnya pemahaman atlet tentang penanggulangan cedera otot, (2) Rendahnya pemahaman atlet mengurangi cedera otot. Jumlah atlet yang mengikuti program pelatihan terapi Ice Bath adalah sebanyak 25 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan hari Jumat–Minggu. Durasi terapi Ice Bath yang diberikan 10-15 menit pada suhu air antara 10-15°C. Waktu pelaksanaan dibagi dalam 3 kali sesi, yaitu 1 menit keluar dari kolam es, selama 1 menit untuk berendam di air normal, dan 1 menit kembali ke air es kembali. Setelah pelatihan, 85% atlet melaporkan penurunan nyeri otot dan kelelahan setelah latihan, serta peningkatan performa selama latihan berikutnya. 95% atlet merasa puas dengan pelatihan yang diberikan, terutama dalam hal manfaat praktis yang langsung dirasakan. Kesimpulan kegiatan yaitu 85% atlet melaporkan penurunan nyeri otot dan kelelahan setelah latihan, serta peningkatan performa selama latihan berikutnya, 95% atlet merasa puas dengan pelatihan yang diberikan.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil pengabdian kolaborasi dengan Peserta Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) universitas Muhammadiyah Buton dan pemerintah DesaAmboau Togo. Bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektf masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei kebutuhan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Abstract

This study investigated EFL students’ speaking skills viewed from self-efficacy at seniors high schools. This to measure students' self-efficacy beliefs and assessments to evaluate their speaking performance to find factors influencing their speaking skills.. The findings of this study had the potential to provide valuable insights into the factors influencing students' speaking skills development and contribute to the enhancement of language learning and teaching practices, also to find whether there is a relationships between students' self-efficacy levels and their performance in speaking tasks. A quantitatave approach was employed by using SPSS IBM 26  and qualitative approach was employed by using observation and questionnaires, utilizing surveys, to measure students' self-efficacy beliefs and assessments to evaluate their speaking performance. The research included 30 second-grade Social Studies students from SMAN 7 Mataram, selected through purposive sampling. A questionnaire with two types of items, totaling 10 questions, was employed as the research tool. The major factors influencing students’ self efficacy at IPS class at SMAN 7 Mataram are social persuasion (50%) and Emotional & Physiological States (50%). The results indicated a strong relationships, with a Pearson correlation coefficient (R) of 0.895, which is considered very high, falling within the 0.80 to 1.000 range. The statistical analysis at a significance level of ? = 0.05 showed a p-value lower than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, confirming a significant correlation between students’ self-efficacy and their speaking skills. It means that students need encouragement and support from parents, teachers, and their community to boost their self-efficacy to improve English speaking skills.

Abstract

This research program aims to enhance academic service quality at Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin (UM Banjarmasin) through the development of an innovative application called Academic Extension (ADEX). The initiative was driven by the need to improve efficiency and integration of academic services, addressing the current inadequate systems that fail to support effective academic management. The research methodology involved three key phases: needs analysis, application development, and field testing. ADEX incorporates various features to streamline academic management, including schedule management, attendance tracking, and communication channels between faculty members and students. The implementation of ADEX has demonstrated significant improvements in both efficiency and quality of academic services at UM Banjarmasin, delivering tangible benefits to the entire academic community. Results indicate that the integration of ADEX has successfully addressed the initial challenges, providing a comprehensive solution for academic service management while enhancing the overall educational experience for both faculty and students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialiasai dan pelatihan kebugaran jasmani kepada masyarakat melalui olahraga panahan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Klub Rejeki Archery Kota Palu. Permasalahan yang menjadi pertimbangan dilakukannya pengabdian ini adalah (1) Masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang bentuk latihan kebugaran jasmani, (2) Masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang olahraga panahan di Kota Palu. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendukung tercapainya solusi dan target yang ingin dicapai adalah (1) Sosialisasi, dan (2) Pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 orang peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan kebugaran jasmani melalui olahraga panahan pada klub Rejeki Archery Kota Palu terdapat 4 orang peserta dengan persentase sebesar 13,3% memiliki pemahaman tentang latihan kebugaran jasmani dan olahraga panahan pada kategori baik sekali, 11 orang dengan persentase sebesar 36,7% pada kategori baik, 13 orang dengan persentase sebesar 43,3% pada kategori sedang, 2 orang dengan persentase sebesar 6,7% pada kategori kurang dan 0 orang dengan persentase sebesar 0% pada kategori kurang sekali. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah rata-rata pemahaman peserta yaitu sebesar 36,7% berada pada kategori baik setelah diberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan.

Abstract

Guru seharusnya memiliki kemampuan mengajar drama, karena guru penerus ilmu pengetahuan kepada murid-murid.Fungsi guru sebagai pewaris ilmu nampaknya akan lebih bermanfaat apabila keterampilan bermain drama ditulas kepada siswanya. Permasalahan klasik yang dihadapi guru yaitu kurang mampunya guru membing siswa bermain drama. Keadaan ini disebabkan guru-guru selama ini kurang mendapat pelatihan dalam mengajar drama. Tanpa ada pendalaman pengetahuan dan pelatihan tersebut sangat kecil kemungkinan guru dapat memenuhi target yang ditentukan kurikulum. Guna memenuhi kebutuhan meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru SMAN Kuala Tungkal, maka target luaran aspek manajemen yang akan dihasilkan dalam program yaitu memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SMA yang meliputi pelatihan: 1) teknik menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran drama, 2) teknik mengembangkan materi pembelajaran drama, 3) teknik menentukan metode pembelajaran drama, 4) teknik menentukan media pembelajaran drama, 5) teknik meevaluasi pembelajaran drama. Selain itu, luaran yang dihasilkan guru-guru adalah publikasi artikel ilmiah pada jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of pencak silat learning in physical education teachers of state senior high schools throughout Pekanbaru City. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were physical education teachers in Pekanbaru Senior High Schools totaling 96 people, the sampling technique used was total sampling so that all populations were sampled. The research instrument used was filling out a questionnaire. Based on the research results, the conclusions obtained in this study are: the implementation of pencak silat learning in physical education teachers of state senior high schools throughout Pekanbaru City is included in the range of 81-100% or in the strong category with a percentage of 92.93%.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the use of Picture to Enhance the ability to master English vocabulary of Fifth Grade Students of SDN 1 Dara Kunci for the 2023/2024 school year. In data collection researchers use observation, test and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The study was conducted in 2 cycles starting with preliminary studies. During the study, researchers found that in the pre-cycle, the level of students' vocabulary mastery ability was still low, which was 55.8  % in the range of 40% - 55%. In the first cycle after students were given actions using Picture,  the student's ability level increased to 61.5% and entered the medium criteria (56%-75%). In cycle II after students were given actions based on observations in cycle I, students' vocabulary mastery ability increased to 78.3% so that it was included in the high criteria (76%-100%). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of Picture can increase student learning activities and increase vocabulary mastery.
