Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the use of big data and machine learning techniques to predict the effects of Sharia monetary policy on economic stability. Motivated by the underexplored nature of Sharia-compliant financial forecasting, the research applies various machine learning models including Random Forest, XGBoost, Support Vector Regression (SVR), Linear Regression, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks to long-term stock and monetary trend predictions within the Islamic finance context. Utilizing a dataset of Indonesian Sharia stocks and financial indicators, and employing SHAP analysis for model interpretability, the study evaluates model performance based on metrics like MAPE and R². Results reveal that SVR outperforms other algorithms, providing robust and interpretable predictions that capture the influence of key financial indicators such as moving averages and Sharia-compatible BI Rate transmissions. The findings have practical implications for enhancing financial inclusion and promoting risk-efficient, interest-free profit-sharing models, with national Sharia financial assets projected to exceed Rp10.5 quadrillion by 2026. The study fills gaps in academic literature on Islamic monetary forecasting and sets a foundation for future integration of hybrid AI models for real-time policy evaluation, supporting the digital transformation of Sharia banking aligned with maqasid syariah principles

Abstract

Abstract

This research is driven by the identified deficiency in student learning autonomy within Grade V Social Studies, specifically concerning regional economic diversity, where traditional portfolios fail to provide timely pedagogical feedback. The study aims to develop and evaluate an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based e-portfolio designed to enhance learning independence at UPT SD Negeri 066047 Medan. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) framework via the ADDIE model comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation the investigation involved Grade V students and employed observation, questionnaires, and documentation for rigorous data acquisition. Empirical findings indicate superior validity, with expert assessments yielding 88.57% for media and 90% for material content. Furthermore, practicality reached 91.67% from educators and 90% from learners, categorizing the tool as highly pragmatic for classroom integration. Effectiveness was substantiated by a significant improvement in learning independence scores, which surged from a baseline of 64,64% to 91.04% post-intervention. Consequently, the AI-integrated e-portfolio is established as a feasible and efficacious instructional innovation, facilitating reflective, interactive, and autonomous learning environments in elementary education. This media serves as a transformative technological alternative to conventional pedagogical instruments, aligning with the needs of modern digital-based curricula.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of geopolitical risk and macroeconomic variables on the dynamics of the rupiah exchange rate in Indonesia during 2020-2025. The variables comprise the rupiah exchange rate, geopolitical risk, inflation, interest rate, world oil price, and foreign exchange reserves. Monthly secondary data were examined using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), supported by the Phillips-Perron unit root test, optimal lag selection, VAR stability test, Johansen cointegration test, Impulse Response Function (IRF), Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD), and Block Exogeneity Wald Test. The findings show two cointegrating relationships, indicating a long-run equilibrium among the variables. In the short run, geopolitical risk significantly affects rupiah exchange rate dynamics. In the long run, inflation, interest rate, world oil price, and foreign exchange reserves are associated with the rupiah exchange rate. IRF results indicate that geopolitical risk shocks initially generate a negative response, then a positive response, before gradually stabilizing. FEVD results show that in the tenth period, rupiah exchange rate variation is mainly explained by its own shock (71.52%), followed by geopolitical risk (14.01%) and world oil price (12.81%).

Abstract

Zakat is one of the obligations that need to be carried out by Muslims. Baznas has made significant advancements and advances in the zakat program through the use of digital technology, such as online zakat payments. It is the goal of this research to determine whether or not the digital zakat system's installation and impact on Baznas's acceptance of zakat funds. As a result of the study, Baznas and muzakki can save time and money by digitizing zakat and using it to collect zakat funds digitally. The collecting of zakat funds should also be made more open to the public, transparent, enormous, and effective. Through bank transfers, websites, QR code scans, and social media, Baznas aims to digitize zakat. Due to lack of socialization and promotion by Baznas to the community and some people's unwillingness to pay their zakat digitally, the community hasn't felt the full impact of the digitalization system from its website and QR code.

Abstract

The issue discussed is whether there is still a discrepancy or divergence between problematic financing (NPF) and profitability (ROA) from the general trend. On the other hand, Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Return on Assets (ROA) interact in ways that significantly affect the financial performance of banks. This indicates the complexity of this relationship, suggesting a simultaneous relationship between NPF and ROA. The aim of this research is to understand the simultaneous relationship between profitability and problematic financing of Islamic banks in Indonesia. This study uses the Two Stage Least Square (TSLS) method, with financial ratio data from Islamic banks in Indonesia from 2010 to 2023, using quarterly data. Based on the simultaneous test results, there is a simultaneous relationship between the profitability model (ROA) and problematic financing (NPF). In the profitability equation model (ROA), BOPO affects the profitability of Islamic banks, while problematic financing and CAR do not have an effect. However, in the problematic financing equation model (NPF), profitability and CAR affect problematic financing in Islamic banks in Indonesia, whereas FDR does not affect operational cost reduction targets. Moreover, policies that emphasize increasing profitability through product diversification and capital enhancement (CAR) will help reduce the risk of problematic financing through issuing new shares or reinvesting profits, while product diversification can help increase revenue and reduce the risk of uncollectible financing.

The study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach using secondary data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), scientific journals, and related literature sources. The results indicate that the increase in the prices of basic necessities such as rice, red chili, cooking oil, sugar, and eggs has significantly affected the consumption patterns of Indonesian households. People tend to prioritize primary needs over secondary and tertiary needs. In addition, households have implemented various saving strategies, such as reducing non-primary consumption, choosing cheaper substitute goods, reducing shopping frequency, and utilizing savings to meet daily needs. High inflation in the food, beverage, and tobacco sectors has also increased the proportion of household expenditure allocated to food consumption. This study concludes that the rising prices of basic necessities have had a significant impact on the purchasing power and welfare of Indonesian society in 2025.
