Abstract

The increasingly competitive business competition with many similar products released by competitors is the background for research. J.CO Donuts & Coffee Jember is a company that launched donuts as a product it offers and has many competitors. The aim of this research was to test and analyze the influence of product, price, location and promotion on donut purchasing decisions at J.CO Donuts & Coffee Jember. A sample of 50 respondents was taken from the consumer population who purchased donuts directly. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 23.00 for Windows. The conclusion from the results of this research is that product, price, location and promotion variables simultaneously  have a significant influence on the decision to purchase donuts at J.CO Donuts & Coffee Jember. Partially, the results of this research concluded that the product, price and promotion variables partially had no significant effect on purchasing decisions, while location partially had a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the analysis, location is the variable that has a dominant influence on the decision to purchase donut products at J.CO Donuts & Coffee Jember.

Abstract

Pia Warung Glenmore Jember Branch is one of the Bakpia companies that is currently facing business competition. This research was conducted to test and analyze the influence of the marketing mix on the decision to purchase bakpia at Pia Warung Glenmore Jember Branch. The population in this study were consumers who purchased Glenmore bakpia with a sample of 70 respondents. The analytical tool used is multiple linear analysis with the help of IBM SPSS 21 software. The results of this research can be concluded that the product, price, promotion and distribution channel variables jointly have a significant influence on the decision to purchase bakpia at Pia Warung Glenmore Jember Branch. Partially, the results of this research can be concluded that product variables and distribution channels have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while price and promotion variables have a partially insignificant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the analysis, the product variable is the variable that has a dominant influence on the decision to purchase bakpia at Pia Warung Glenmore Jember Branch in Jember Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of individual characteristics, the environment, and marketing communications on decision making to purchase production bokashi fertilizer P4S "Karya Tani" , both jointly and partially, and testing which variables have the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions. This research used a survey method with a sample size of 30 people conducted on consumers using P4S "Karya Tani" bokashi fertilizer. Overall, the results of this research can be concluded that individual characteristics, the environment, and marketing communications together have a significant influence on decision making to purchase bokashi fertilizer produced by P4S "Karya Tani". Partially, individual characteristics and marketing communications have a significant effect, while the environment has an insignificant effect. The factors that have a dominant influence on decision making to purchase P4S "Karya Tani" bokashi fertilizer are individual characteristics.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the communication role of the tourism awareness group in Tipang village by prioritizing local wisdom in developing tourism destinations, analyzing the strategies of tourism awareness groups applied in developing tourism destinations, and finding the obstacles experienced by tourism awareness groups in developing tourism destinations based on local wisdom. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological paradigm. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The validity of the data was checked by triangulating interviews with the Lake Toba Authority Implementing Agency (BPODT) and academics who had carried out tourism development activities at the research location. This research found that 1) The communication role of the Tipang village tourism awareness group has three types of roles: active role, participatory role, and passive role.2) Strategy of tourism awareness groups in developing tourism destinations based on local wisdomTipang village implements an integration strategy by involving other tourism destination managers, utilizing information dissemination through social media and print media distributed in strategic areas or places

Abstract

This study analyzes the communication competence of medical staff at Prof. Dr. Hairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in interacting with COVID-19 patients through the utilization of telemedicine. The purpose of this research is to evaluate how effectively medical staff communicate with patients in a virtual environment, focusing on clarity, empathy, and professionalism. The research was conducted using a mixed-method approach, including surveys and interviews with both medical staff and patients. The results indicate that while telemedicine has facilitated continued care, there are significant challenges in maintaining effective communication. Recommendations for improving communication skills in telemedicine are discussed.

Abstract

his research aims to analyze how corporate communication activities foster internal relationships between employees of PT. This research uses a qualitative approach to describe the data findings and data analysis carried out. Researchers used data analysis using the Miles Huberman and Saldana method which includes data condensation, data display, and then drawing conclusions. The research results that researchers found that corporate communication was carried out by PT Pupuk Indonesia Sales Department Regional 1 using the employee relations stages, downward communication through direction and coordination carried out directly through meetings, and indirect communication through communication media such as WhatsApp and Zoom, as well as providing training, rewarding and motivational education programs to employees. The novelty found in this research as a differentiator from similar research that has been carried out previously is the use of corporate communication theory combined with employee relations theory to analyze phenomena that occur in the research object.

Abstract

Optimizing the using of digital-based libraries (digital libraries) is a major transformation in the world of education today. Digital libraries offer many conveniences and diverse connectivity. This research aims to analyze opportunities for using digital libraries in the era of information disruption. The research results show that in the era of information disruption, the use of digital-based libraries is very helpful, especially in supporting learning activities. Digital libraries are easy to access, portable, economical, rich in references, equipped with searching tools, keywords and knowledge sharing. This research uses a qualitative approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Human Resources (HR) development of lecturers at the Ibn Rusyd d College of Islam (STAI) in the modern era, focusing on strategies, implementation, and challenges faced. The approach used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the development of human resources of lecturers at STAI Ibnu Rusyd d includes three main aspects, namely improving academic qualifications, strengthening professional competence, and fostering an Islamic work ethic. The strategies applied include the provision of further study scholarships, need-based training, and coaching through scientific forums and research activities. The implementation of this strategy is quite effective despite several obstacles, such as budget limitations, lack of active participation of some lecturers, and challenges in adapting to the latest educational technology. The research also found that the success of lecturers' human resource development management depends not only on the formal policies of the institution, but also on the commitment of the leadership, the motivation of individual lecturers, and the support of the academic ecosystem. This research is expected to be a reference for other higher education institutions in formulating adaptive and sustainable HR development policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tanggapan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sumatera Utara (FISIP USU) terhadap komunikasi krisis yang dilakukan oleh Grab Indonesia dalam menangani kontroversi publik yang dipicu oleh unggahan istri CEO Grab mengenai Israel, di tengah konflik Gaza. Unggahan tersebut memicu gerakan boikot dengan tagar #UninstallGrabNow dan menimbulkan krisis reputasi yang signifikan bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah populasi 3.093 mahasiswa dan melibatkan 97 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Komunikasi Krisis dari Timothy W. Coombs dan teori Stimulus-Respons untuk menjelaskan bagaimana stimulus dari organisasi memengaruhi respons publik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, dengan analisis data melalui teknik tabel tunggal menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap krisis bervariasi, tergantung pada stimulus yang diberikan oleh Grab, seperti klarifikasi publik, permintaan maaf, dan sumbangan kemanusiaan untuk Gaza. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa respons publik terhadap komunikasi krisis tidak bersifat seragam, melainkan dipengaruhi oleh persepsi terhadap ketulusan dan kecepatan respons perusahaan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi komunikasi krisis yang tepat, sensitif terhadap konteks sosial-politik, serta mampu menjawab ekspektasi publik dalam menjaga kepercayaan dan reputasi organisasi.

Abstract

Woobiz merupakan startup baru yang fokus memberikan pendampingan terhadap pengusaha di bidang usaha micro. Woobiz sebagai startup e-commerce tidak hanya membantu pengusahamicro menjual dan mempromosikan produk mereka, namun juga memberikan solusi atas permasalahan pemasaran yang mereka hadapi dalam praktik yang nyata. Sistem yang dibuat memberikan kemudahan bagi produsen, re-seller maupun perorangan untuk menawarkan dan menjual produk mereka secara luas di seluruh dunia melalui internet. Fokus pada pelayanan individu, woobiz membantu meningkatkan ekonomi lokal dan memberikan kesempatan terutama bagi wanita untuk tidak hanya menjadi ibu rumah tangga namun menjadi wonder woman yang juga mampu menguatkan perekonomian keluarga. Woobiz sebagai media pemasaran online membantu wanita Indonesia untuk mengawali bisnis mereka sebagai pengusaha dan menjadi wanita mandiri baik secara sosial maupun ekonomi. Woobiz memberi bantuan pemasaran namun masih ada kendala dalam penulisan atau copy writing  untuk meningkatkan konten pesaran guna meningkatkan dana jual barang dan jasa. E-commerce memiliki jangkauan internasional karena internet tidak terbatas oleh ruang dan waktu sehingga mengharuskan para pengusaha micro untuk mampu mengenalkan produk mereka menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Dengan pelatihan copy writing pemasaran dalam bahasa Inggris menggunakan CANVA menjadi solusi untuk membantu meningkatkan penghasilan dan nilai jual barang dan jasa.
