Abstract

This study examines the legal and professional practice of the role of notaries in regulating capital markets in Indonesia, focusing on the functions and responsibilities of notaries as public officials who play a role in ensuring legal certainty over documents and agreements that form the basis of capital market activities. In a regulatory context, the role of notaries is regulated by Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning the Office of Notaries, Law Number 8 of 1995 concerning Capital Markets, and various implementing regulations from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Using a normative juridical approach, this study examines the involvement of notaries in the process of registering securities issuances, drafting deeds of establishment and amendments to issuers' articles of association, as well as ratifying underwriting agreements and information disclosure in the capital market. The results indicate that notaries play a strategic role in maintaining transparency, legality, and accountability in capital market activities, while also acting as a bridge between legal interests between issuers, investors, and regulators. However, field practice still presents challenges, such as a lack of understanding of capital market instruments among notaries and the potential for conflicts of interest in carrying out their duties. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the professional competence of notaries and align their professional code of ethics with the principles of good corporate governance to strengthen the integrity and effectiveness of legal oversight in the Indonesian capital market sector.

Abstract

Research on diagnostic instruments in physics education has grown significantly in recent years; however, a comprehensive mapping of research trends, methodological characteristics, and research gaps based on international databases is still limited. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the development and application of diagnostic instruments in physics education in the range of 2010 to 2025 using publications indexed by Scopus. A total of 36 articles that met the criteria were analyzed following the PRISMA framework to identify trends, methodological characteristics, and research gaps. The findings show that four-tier diagnostic tests dominate this field (50%), followed by three-tier instruments (22%), reflecting a shift toward more comprehensive assessments that evaluate students’ answers, reasoning, and confidence levels simultaneously. Research topics mostly focus on mechanics, heat, and electricity, while modern physics and advanced concepts are still rarely explored. Most studies used analysis based on Classical Test Theory (91.6%) for validation, with limited adoption of Rasch modeling and Item Response Theory. Study participants were dominated by college students (50%) and high school students (44%), who showed minimal attention to vocational students and active teachers. Furthermore, paper-based formats still dominate despite increasing interest in digital and adaptive assessments. In conclusion, these findings provide a comprehensive overview of research trends in diagnostic instruments within physics education and highlight several research gaps that may inform the development of technology-based diagnostic assessments and the adoption of modern psychometric approaches in future studies.

Abstract

This study addresses the persistent challenge of improving students’ higher-order thinking skills in physics, particularly critical thinking and graphical representation abilities, which remain relatively low in Indonesian high schools. To overcome this issue, a guided inquiry-based e-book integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) was developed and tested within the domain of thermodynamics. The research employed the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages, to ensure the systematic construction of the product. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design was applied with three groups: (1) guided inquiry-based e-book assisted by AR, (2) guided inquiry-based e-book without AR, and (3) conventional PowerPoint-based instruction. The product was validated by subject matter experts and practitioners, who confirmed its feasibility across material, media, and design aspects. Student responses indicated that the developed e-book was practical and engaging for classroom use. Effectiveness testing was conducted with 90 students using MANOVA, supported by prerequisite tests for normality, homogeneity, and multicollinearity. The results revealed significant improvements in both critical thinking and graphical representation skills, with the AR-assisted e-book outperforming the other instructional methods and achieving a moderate effect size. These findings highlight the pedagogical potential of integrating AR into guided inquiry-based e-books to foster interactive, student-centered learning environments. Furthermore, the study suggests that such innovations may serve as an effective alternative to traditional physics teaching methods and could be adapted for other physics topics beyond thermodynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based e-book integrated with digital literacy on the topic of measurement, quantities, and units to improve students' digital literacy. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were Grade X students of SMAN 1 Sekatak, who were divided into an experimental class and a control class. The research instruments included a digital literacy questionnaire and validation sheets, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The validity test results showed that all instrument items were valid, with very high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.874). The implementation results indicated a significant improvement in digital literacy in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average score of the experimental class increased more significantly after the use of the CTL-based e-book. In addition, the evaluation results showed that the e-book was practical, with a reliability value of 0.709, and received positive responses from students. These findings indicate that the CTL-based e-book integrated with digital literacy is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ digital literacy and in supporting more contextual and meaningful physics learning.

Abstract

The global environmental crisis demands a fundamental transformation in science education, shifting from mere cognitive knowledge transfer to a medium for holistic character formation. This conceptual article examines the urgency of internalizing human values such as empathy, compassion, and justice into physics learning. The author proposes a "Love-Based Curriculum" as a transformative pedagogical framework to bridge the gap between abstract physics concepts and the development of environmentally caring character. This article is developed using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data collection was conducted by examining various credible and relevant references to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the topic. The article synthesizes various approaches, ranging from compassionate pedagogy to the integration of sustainability issues (such as climate change and waste management) into the physics curriculum. The findings indicate that a humanistic approach not only improves cognitive learning outcomes but also significantly fosters ecological awareness, environmental literacy, and students’ motivation to become agents of change. The Love-Based Curriculum is argued to be a strategic intervention to ensure more equitable, inclusive, and relevant physics learning that addresses future challenges.
