Abstract

This study examines the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing the critical reasoning skills of fourth-grade students in Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. The research problem focuses on how the application of the Problem Based Learning model improves students' critical reasoning skills in Indonesian language learning in the fourth grade at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in enhancing the critical reasoning skills of students in Indonesian language learning in the fourth grade at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis & McTaggart model. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In Cycle I, the process includes planning, which involves identifying problems, setting goals, and planning actions. The actions taken involve using the PBL model, providing worksheets and relevant problems. Observation is conducted during the action process to observe the learning process of teachers and students using the PBL steps and to collect observational data. The next stage is reflection, which aims to evaluate and conclude students' critical reasoning abilities using tests. In this stage, it is observed that there are aspects that need improvement and the determination of the next steps. The results of the study show that in Cycle I, the teacher observation results fall into the less satisfactory category, and the student observation results also fall into the less satisfactory category or have not yet reached the success standard. Meanwhile, the results of students' critical reasoning tests in Cycle I are in the low criteria or it can be said that many students have not yet met the success standard. In Cycle II, the planning stage involves identifying problems based on the results of Cycle I, setting goals, and planning actions. During the action stage, the PBL model is used, and relevant worksheets and problems are provided. Observation is conducted during the action process to observe the learning process of teachers and students using the PBL steps and to collect observational data. The reflection stage uses evaluation tests to evaluate and conclude students' critical reasoning abilities. As a result, the teacher observation results in Cycle II fall into the good category, and the student observation results in Cycle II also fall into the good category or have reached the desired success standard. The results of the students' critical reasoning tests in Cycle II show that the researcher succeeded in enhancing the students' critical reasoning abilities to a very high criterion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint interaktif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas satu Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini meliputi: (1) menggambarkan penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran membaca, (2) mengevaluasi hasil kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa setelah penerapan media tersebut, serta (3) menguji signifikansi pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen kuasi menggunakan kelompok kontrol yang tidak setara. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 60 siswa kelas satu yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes membaca permulaan, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan perangkat lunak analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa setelah penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint interaktif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran tersebut sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa dan dapat dijadikan alternatif metode pembelajaran yang inovatif di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi strategi pembelajaran adaptif untuk prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah usaha kecil dan mikro yang dimiliki Batu Bata. Perusahaan mitra masih dikelola dengan cara tradisional, kurang perhitungan atau penganggaran yang baik. Membekali pemilik usaha dengan pengetahuan ini akan sangat membantu mereka mengembangkan profesionalisme dalam mengelola bisnis. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memotivasi pemilik usaha pembuatan batu bata agar memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan agar mampu menyusun anggaran produksi yang akurat, yang merupakan prasyarat bagi perkembangan usahanya. Pengabdian ini menggunakan kombinasi metode ceramah, latihan, dan diskusi. Pesertanya adalah para pemilik usaha batu bata di Kecamatan Limbung Kec. Bajeng, Kab. Gowa. Teknik pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi tiga tahap yang dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) Pemilik usaha memahami unsur-unsur penganggaran, (2) dapat mencatat pendapatan sebagai dasar perkiraan pendapatan di masa depan, (3)mengetahui sistem penganggaran produksi. Keterbatasan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode pelaksanaan belum menggunakan teknik pendampingan, sehingga pengetahuan tentang penyusunan anggaran produksi dapat diimplementasikan dalam aktivitas usaha

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena kurang aktifnya siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Discovery Learning dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Unggulan Mongosodi 1 berjumlah 37 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian siklus I menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata keaktifan siswa sebesar 62% sedangkan pada siklus II 77% sehingga meningkat 15%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa di kelas V UPT SPF SDN Unggulan Mongisidi 1.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Concept Attainment terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas IV SD BTN IKIP I Makassar. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment Design dengan tipe nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 24 peserta didik kelas IV A dan 20 peserta didik kelas IV B yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, tes pemahaman konsep matematika, dan dokumentasi. Data analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Concept Attainment pada pertemuan pertama sebesar 79 % dengan kategori baik dan pertemuan kedua sebsar 94% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh P = 0,014 lebih kecil dari α = 0,05 dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil post-test antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.. Didikung dengan nilai rata rata hasil post-test peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 74.83 lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 70.10 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Concept Attainment terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas IV BTN IKIP I Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi lingkungan kerja atau kondisi kerja di masa pasca pandemi covid-19 sebagai aspek yang perlu diperhatikan oleh perguruan tinggi karena mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja, motivasi kerja, kepuasan kerja, prestasi kerja dan kinerja dosen. Untuk merespon hal tersebut maka peneliti melakukan penelitian melalui analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada dosen ASN Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Makassar dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 64 orang. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor lingkungan kerja fisik yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja dosen di masa pandemi Covid-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, lingkungan kerja non fisik X secara keseluruhan masuk ke dalam kategori Cukup Baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja non fisik pada Fakultas Ekonomi UNM (FE UNM) telah berjalan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan para dosen tetap di FE UNM. Sementara berdasarkan hasil regresi sederhana variabel Faktor Lingkungan Non Fisik (X) terhadap Variabel Kepuasan (Y) Sangat Kuat. pengaruh variabel Faktor Lingkungan Fisik (X) terhadap kepuasan (Y) adalah sebesar 89 %.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a transitional period that affects a woman's physical, psychological, and social aspects, including sexual activity. In the third trimester, many pregnant women choose not to have sexual intercourse due to various perceptions and concerns. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the perception of pregnant women in the third trimester towards the decision not to have sexual intercourse, as well as its impact on the physical and psychological condition of pregnant women. This study used a descriptive analytical approach with a quantitative method. The sample consisted of 60 pregnant women in the third trimester at Health Center X, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the main influencing factors were fear of harming the fetus (80%), physical and emotional changes (65%), lack of knowledge about sexual intercourse during pregnancy (60%), and cultural influences and myths (55%). In addition, not having sexual intercourse also has an impact on increased anxiety, tension in husband and wife relationships, and decreased emotional satisfaction. Education and counseling are needed for pregnant women and their partners regarding safe sexual activity during pregnancy.

Abstract

Labor pain is a physiological process that can cause anxiety and stress in mothers in labor. Hypnobirthing is a relaxation method that aims to reduce fear and pain during labor. This study aims to determine the effect of hypnobirthing on the level of labor pain in mothers in the first stage of labor. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design approach. The sample consisted of 30 mothers in labor who were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group given hypnobirthing and the control group who received standard care. The instrument used was the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of pain between the intervention and control groups (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that hypnobirthing is effective in reducing labor pain in mothers in the first stage of labor. It is expected that hypnobirthing can be one of the non-pharmacological methods applied in midwifery care.

Abstract

This experimental study aims to determine: 1) the implementation level of the whole language learning approach through journal writing for grade II students at UPT SDN Paccinongan Unggulan, 2) the improvement in reading-writing literacy of these students, and 3) the effect of this approach on their literacy skills. The research uses a Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The population consists of all grade II students at UPT SDN Paccinongan Unggulan, with a sample size of 72 selected through purposive sampling. The independent variable is the whole language learning approach through journal writing, and the dependent variable is the improvement in reading and writing literacy. Data was collected through observations and tests, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential techniques. Descriptive analysis showed the journal writing approach was very well implemented in the learning process. Literacy skills, based on posttest results, improved from low to high in the experimental class. Inferential statistical analysis indicated a significant effect of the journal writing approach on literacy improvement, with a sig value of 0.002 < 0.05. Consequently, the application of this approach in the experimental class was highly effective, as evidenced by the improved implementation of the learning process from "well implemented" to "very well implemented" and a significant increase in literacy skills. The experimental class's posttest scores were high compared to the control class's medium scores, demonstrating the approach's positive impact on grade II students at UPT SDN Paccinongan Unggulan.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem identified at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City, namely the low multiplication calculation skills of the students. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the use of ice cream stick learning media in Grade II at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City; (2) to describe the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City; and (3) to determine the effect of using ice cream stick learning media on the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The research design used was the nonequivalent control group design. The independent variable in this study was the ice cream stick learning media, and the dependent variable was the students' multiplication calculation skills. The study involved two classes: the experimental class (II A) and the control class (II B), with the sampling technique used being purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation sheets and tests. The data collection procedure consisted of a pretest, treatment, and posttest, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results of the study show that: (1) the learning activities using ice cream stick media were conducted effectively; (2) the multiplication calculation skills of students improved after being taught using the ice cream stick media, as indicated by significant differences between the experimental and control classes in terms of test scores and observation sheets. This was proven by the shift in student performance from the "fair" to "good" category based on the pretest and posttest results; and (3) there is a significant effect of using ice cream stick learning media on the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City.
