Abstract

Barania Village is one of the villages located in West Sinjai District, which has significant tourism and Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) potential but has not been fully exploited. With tourist attractions such as Galung Village and Salu Birayya Waterfall, this village offers opportunities to increase people's income. However, the challenges faced include weak human resource management and a lack of innovation in managing tourism and MSMEs. The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK ORMAWA) from Muhammadiyah Sinjai University aims to provide training and assistance in tourism management and MSME development. Through this initiative, it is hoped that there will be an increase in community knowledge and creativity, as well as the formation of a widely known local brand. The output of this program includes development guidebooks, new products, and an increase in the number of visitors to the village, thereby encouraging sustainable local economic growth.

Abstract

Penyuluhan agama memiliki peran penting dalam mempromosikan dan mengimplementasikan konsep pendidikan moderasi beragama di Indonesia. Artikel ini mengkaji peran penyuluh agama Islam dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman dan memberikan pendidikan yang tepat tentang prinsip-prinsip moderasi beragama di tengah masyarakat yang multikultural. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran penyuluh agama Islam dalam menyebarkan pemahaman yang inklusif dan toleran tentang agama, serta upaya mereka dalam memerangi radikalisme dan ekstremisme. Temuan dari penelitian ini menyoroti strategi-strategi efektif yang digunakan oleh penyuluh agama Islam dalam mendekatkan masyarakat kepada nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic education in the Scout Movement activities at the IAIN Palopo Campus. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of Racana Pramuka members, instructors, and extracurricular lecturers. The results of the study indicate that the Scout Movement is a strategic medium in shaping the religious, leadership, and social character of students. Islamic values ​​such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, brotherhood, and religious moderation are integrated through various scouting activities, both in the form of routine training, field activities, and leadership training programs. The Islamic education implemented is holistic and contextual, making Scouting an effective non-formal educational medium in an Islamic college environment. These findings recommend the importance of strengthening synergy between Scout instructors, lecturers, and institutions in designing more adaptive scouting programs based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Seksualitas dalam Islam diatur oleh prinsip-prinsip moral dan etika yang bertujuan untuk menjaga kehormatan, martabat, dan kesejahteraan individu serta masyarakat. Islam melarang segala bentuk hubungan seksual di luar pernikahan, termasuk zina dan perzinahan, serta segala bentuk penyimpangan seksual yang bertentangan dengan fitrah manusia menurut ajaran Islam. Dalam kerangka ini, seksualitas islami tidak hanya berhubungan dengan aspek fisik, tetapi juga mencakup dimensi spiritual dan moral yang integral dalam kehidupan seorang Muslim. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penafsiran M. Quraish Sihab dan Sayyid Qutb tentang seksualitas pada surah al-Baqarah ayat 223, bagaimana persamaan dan perbedaan tentang seksualitas pada surah al-Baqarah ayat 223 dalam Tafsir al-Misbah dan Tafsir fi Zilal al-Qur’an. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian library research dan menggunakan pendekatan komparasi. Maka ditemukan bahwa seksualitas dalam Surah al-Baqarah ayat 223 harus dijalankan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai agama. Quraish Shihab menekankan pentingnya pengaturan kualitas sperma dan kebersihan dalam hubungan intim, sementara Sayyid Qutb lebih menyoroti harmonisasi hubungan suami-istri dalam konteks agama. Meski keduanya memiliki persamaan dalam mengelompokkan ayat secara sistematis dan berbasis nilai agama, akan tetapi Quraish Shihab menggunakan metode tafsir bi al-ra’yi dan ilmiah dengan corak sosial budaya dan sastra bahasa, sedangkan Sayyid Qutb fokus pada tafsir tematik dan sosial budaya.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and describe the decision making of the panel of judges in divorce cases in the religious court of Sidrap Regency. This study used a case study with qualitative research. The research data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation. Data validation was carried out by source trigulation, techniques, and then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the decision making of the panel of judges in divorce cases in the religious court of Sidrap district was based on 3 (three) indicators, namely the intelligence stage was  in accordance with the systematics of the trial in making decisions of the Panel of Judges in divorce cases in the Religious Court of Sidrap Regency, then the design stage was completed. In accordance with the identification steps and in the formulation of problem solving related to divorce cases and the election stage, there were two alternative choices of decisions, namely the accepted or not accepted options, but there were still the plaintiffs or defendants who objected to the decision of the panel of judges Keywords: Decision Making, Panel of Judges, Divorce Case

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi kepemimpinan dalam mengelola kinerja karyawan pada Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah Ullya Food. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian yaitu studi kasus. Sumber data diperoleh melalui proses wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan serta verifikasi, dengan Menggunakan kalimat yang rinci, mendalam serta mudah untuk di pahami. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peran pemilik UMKM terhadap Strategi kepemimpinan dalam mengelola kinerja kayawan pada usaha mikro kecil menengah Ullya Food berjalan cukup baik, pemilik selalu berusaha untuk terus berinovasi dalam meningkatkan semua aspek terutama dalam upaya untuk mengelola kinerja karyawan agar berjalan dengan lancar serta mendorong keberhasilan UMKM Ullya Food.

Abstract

Kafa'ah means being equal, balanced, and compatible. This abstract discusses the importance of the principle of Kafa'ah in marriage, particularly in the context of choosing a spouse who is compatible in social, moral, and economic aspects. Kafa'ah is recognized by scholars from the four Islamic schools of thought, each with different views on its application. The Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali schools emphasize different aspects of religion, lineage, social status, and economics. The author also highlights the practice of Kafa'ah among the Habaib (Ahlul Bayt), especially in preserving the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad, where a Syarifah is expected to marry a Sayyid to maintain the family lineage. Although Kafa'ah in marriage aims to preserve household harmony, marriages are still considered valid even if the couple is not equal in lineage. In Indonesia, organizations like Rabithah Alawiyyah play an important role in preserving the traditions and welfare of the Alawiyyin community, including in matters of Kafa'ah lineage. This research examines the views of the Habaib on Kafa'ah lineage as a primary condition for the marriage of Sayyid and Syarifah.

Abstract

This study examined the acquisition of Islamic values in an Islamic primary school using a logic model-based evaluative approach to assess input, output, and outcome dimensions. The research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of educational practices in promoting Islamic values among students. Data were gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed through iterative stages of collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. Findings indicate that the structural input for Islamic values learning involves coordinated efforts among various school departments. The school's cultural climate excels in academic, communal, security, and institutional areas. The output is reflected in diverse activities such as morning murâja’ah sessions, Quran reading and writing guidance using the Ummi method, congregational prayers, and rituals like Clean Friday and Blessed Friday. These activities lead to outcomes that foster individual piety, integrity, discipline, honesty, responsibility, creativity, and social consciousness among students. The study underscores the importance of instilling Islamic values from an early age, highlighting its potential to foster lifelong adherence to these principles. In conclusion, the research affirms the efficacy of these educational practices in transmitting Islamic values, emphasizing the pivotal role of primary education in cultivating a deep-rooted commitment to these values for the future.

Abstract

Background: In the face of rapidly changing global dynamics and the increasing challenges related to moral and ethical values, education plays a critical role in fostering intellectual and moral integrity. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has long been responsible for instilling Islamic values in the younger generation, yet traditional methods often fail to address the practical application of these values in daily life. Purpose: This study explores the TAPE (Instill, Observe, Practice, Evaluate) learning model in PAI education, which integrates theory and practice to promote both intellectual and moral development. The TAPE model consists of four interconnected stages designed to facilitate students' understanding of Islamic values while fostering active engagement, social skills, and self-reflection. Method: A qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design was adopted for this research, involving both field and library research. Data collection included interviews, observations, and document analysis. Result: The study examines how the TAPE model enhances students' ability to internalize Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility, and compassion, while also developing essential life skills. Findings suggest that the TAPE model not only promotes intellectual learning but also shapes students' character and encourages the application of Islamic values in their daily lives. Conclusion: The research concludes that the TAPE model is crucial in developing a generation that is both knowledgeable and morally grounded, ready to contribute positively to society. The study underscores the importance of adopting innovative pedagogical approaches like TAPE to address the challenges posed by globalization and moral integrity in modern Islamic education.

Abstract

Background: The Rampanan Kapa’ tradition is a customary wedding practice among the Tana Toraja people, rooted in the Aluk Todolo belief system. This tradition carries significant philosophical and spiritual values that have evolved in the context of a multicultural community, which includes both Muslims and Christians. Purpose: The study aims to explore the philosophical meanings embedded in the Rampanan Kapa' tradition, its practice among adherents of Aluk Todolo, its adaptation among Muslims and Christians, and the Islamic educational values inherent in this tradition. Additionally, it seeks to examine the impact of the Rampanan Kapa' tradition on the socio-religious life of the multicultural Torajan community. Method: This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. Result: The analysis reveals that the Rampanan Kapa' tradition upholds key Islamic educational values, such as responsibility, honesty, loyalty, cooperation, and justice, while also emphasizing social and spiritual values in the context of marriage. Despite the multicultural influences, the tradition has been preserved and adapted by both Muslims and Christians as a unifying social practice. Implication: The Rampanan Kapa’ tradition not only serves as a cultural heritage but also plays a vital role in character education and fostering multiculturalism within Indonesian society. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of integrating cultural traditions with Islamic values to strengthen socio-religious harmony in diverse communities.
