Abstract

Kafa'ah means being equal, balanced, and compatible. This abstract discusses the importance of the principle of Kafa'ah in marriage, particularly in the context of choosing a spouse who is compatible in social, moral, and economic aspects. Kafa'ah is recognized by scholars from the four Islamic schools of thought, each with different views on its application. The Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali schools emphasize different aspects of religion, lineage, social status, and economics. The author also highlights the practice of Kafa'ah among the Habaib (Ahlul Bayt), especially in preserving the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad, where a Syarifah is expected to marry a Sayyid to maintain the family lineage. Although Kafa'ah in marriage aims to preserve household harmony, marriages are still considered valid even if the couple is not equal in lineage. In Indonesia, organizations like Rabithah Alawiyyah play an important role in preserving the traditions and welfare of the Alawiyyin community, including in matters of Kafa'ah lineage. This research examines the views of the Habaib on Kafa'ah lineage as a primary condition for the marriage of Sayyid and Syarifah.

Abstract

This study examined the acquisition of Islamic values in an Islamic primary school using a logic model-based evaluative approach to assess input, output, and outcome dimensions. The research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of educational practices in promoting Islamic values among students. Data were gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed through iterative stages of collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. Findings indicate that the structural input for Islamic values learning involves coordinated efforts among various school departments. The school's cultural climate excels in academic, communal, security, and institutional areas. The output is reflected in diverse activities such as morning murâja’ah sessions, Quran reading and writing guidance using the Ummi method, congregational prayers, and rituals like Clean Friday and Blessed Friday. These activities lead to outcomes that foster individual piety, integrity, discipline, honesty, responsibility, creativity, and social consciousness among students. The study underscores the importance of instilling Islamic values from an early age, highlighting its potential to foster lifelong adherence to these principles. In conclusion, the research affirms the efficacy of these educational practices in transmitting Islamic values, emphasizing the pivotal role of primary education in cultivating a deep-rooted commitment to these values for the future.

Abstract

Background: In the face of rapidly changing global dynamics and the increasing challenges related to moral and ethical values, education plays a critical role in fostering intellectual and moral integrity. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has long been responsible for instilling Islamic values in the younger generation, yet traditional methods often fail to address the practical application of these values in daily life. Purpose: This study explores the TAPE (Instill, Observe, Practice, Evaluate) learning model in PAI education, which integrates theory and practice to promote both intellectual and moral development. The TAPE model consists of four interconnected stages designed to facilitate students' understanding of Islamic values while fostering active engagement, social skills, and self-reflection. Method: A qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design was adopted for this research, involving both field and library research. Data collection included interviews, observations, and document analysis. Result: The study examines how the TAPE model enhances students' ability to internalize Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility, and compassion, while also developing essential life skills. Findings suggest that the TAPE model not only promotes intellectual learning but also shapes students' character and encourages the application of Islamic values in their daily lives. Conclusion: The research concludes that the TAPE model is crucial in developing a generation that is both knowledgeable and morally grounded, ready to contribute positively to society. The study underscores the importance of adopting innovative pedagogical approaches like TAPE to address the challenges posed by globalization and moral integrity in modern Islamic education.

Abstract

Background: The Rampanan Kapa’ tradition is a customary wedding practice among the Tana Toraja people, rooted in the Aluk Todolo belief system. This tradition carries significant philosophical and spiritual values that have evolved in the context of a multicultural community, which includes both Muslims and Christians. Purpose: The study aims to explore the philosophical meanings embedded in the Rampanan Kapa' tradition, its practice among adherents of Aluk Todolo, its adaptation among Muslims and Christians, and the Islamic educational values inherent in this tradition. Additionally, it seeks to examine the impact of the Rampanan Kapa' tradition on the socio-religious life of the multicultural Torajan community. Method: This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. Result: The analysis reveals that the Rampanan Kapa' tradition upholds key Islamic educational values, such as responsibility, honesty, loyalty, cooperation, and justice, while also emphasizing social and spiritual values in the context of marriage. Despite the multicultural influences, the tradition has been preserved and adapted by both Muslims and Christians as a unifying social practice. Implication: The Rampanan Kapa’ tradition not only serves as a cultural heritage but also plays a vital role in character education and fostering multiculturalism within Indonesian society. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of integrating cultural traditions with Islamic values to strengthen socio-religious harmony in diverse communities.

Abstract

Background: Religious moderation is essential in promoting peaceful coexistence in diverse societies, particularly in multicultural contexts like Indonesia. In the digital era, technological advancements offer new opportunities to enhance the understanding of religious moderation through innovative learning strategies. Purpose: This study examines the learning strategies for religious moderation in the digital era, focusing on the Cross-Cultural Religious Literacy (LKLB) program initiated by the Leimena Institute. The research investigates how digital learning strategies can effectively promote religious moderation in multicultural societies, particularly in Indonesia, where diversity in religion, culture, and ethnicity is prominent. Method: The study employs a qualitative research design, combining library research and field research to gather comprehensive insights into the program’s methodology and impact. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and the analysis of multimedia documents, including recordings of webinars and seminars. Result: The findings indicate that the blended learning approach, which integrates both online and offline methods, has proven to be highly effective in enhancing participants' understanding of religious moderation. Over 9,175 alumni have participated in the program, benefiting from discussions led by speakers from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. Conclusion: The study concludes that the Leimena Institute, through its innovative learning strategies, plays a crucial role in fostering social harmony and preventing extremism in the digital era. The research contributes to the literature on technology-based religious education, offering valuable insights for future developments in religious moderation learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how every good deed can yield abundant rewards within the framework of spiritual mathematics. The research adopts a literature review (library research) approach by analyzing various religious texts related to the topic. The findings reveal that every good deed is rewarded with at least tenfold returns, but in some cases, it may yield none, depending on the belief that Allah swt grants rewards based on specific criteria and divine principles. Although mathematically, equations like 1 + 1 = 10 or 1 + 1 = 0 may seem illogical, in the spiritual context, such outcomes are grounded in the logic of sincerity, divine approval, compassion, blessings, and abundance non-material consequences of righteous actions. The belief that small acts can lead to significant outcomes is a core teaching in Islamic spirituality. Understanding this concept can inspire and motivate individuals to perform more good deeds with the conviction that every positive action can bring far-reaching and meaningful impacts, both personally and socially.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan metode Qazmu menggunakan media Flashcards dan Tracker hafalan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal juz amma santri di TPA Sinar Setuju Palopo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) Mengetahui efektifitas penerapan metode Qazmu menggunakan media Flashcards dan Tracker hafalan di TPA Sinar Setuju Palopo; (2) Mengetahui hasil peningkatan hafalan juz amma santri setelah diterapkannya metode Qazmu menggunakan media Flashcards dan Tracker hafalan di TPA Sinar Setuju Palopo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahap pada tiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah santri di TPA Sinar Setuju Palopo tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 19 orang. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar obsevasi santri, dan tes hafalan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menghafal juz amma melalui metode Qazmu menggunakan media Flashcards dan Tracker hafalan telah terlaksana dengan baik, hal tersebut didasarkan pada pengamatan selama proses pembelajaran. Sebagaimana hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 148 dengan persentase keberhasilan 86,66% kriteria baik, pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 164 dengan persentase keberhasilan 93,33% kriteria sangat baik. Selanjutnya hasil observasi aktivitas santri pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 86 dengan persentase keberhasilan 78,95 kriteria cukup, dan pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 108 dengan persentase keberhasilan 94,73 kriteria sangat baik, (2) kemampuan menghafal juz amma santri setelah metode Qazmu menggunakan media Flashcards dan Tracker hafalan diterapkan, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 69,10 dengan persentase ketuntasan 47,3% dan pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 85,47 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penguatan pendidikan karakter yang berbasis nilai religius dan budaya dalam karya sastra sebagai sarana pendidikan moral dan spiritual. Roman Sitti Nurbaya karya Marah Rusli dipilih karena mengandung nilai-nilai karakter yang relevan dengan konteks sosial dan religius masyarakat Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter religius yang mencakup nilai akidah, akhlak, dan syariah dalam roman tersebut, serta menganalisis hubungan antara nilai budaya dan nilai pendidikan karakter religius yang tergambar dalam narasi dan tokoh-tokohnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian etnografi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi terhadap teks roman dan literatur pendukung. Instrumen utama penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri, dan keabsahan data dijamin melalui teknik kredibilitas dengan ketekunan serta validasi oleh pakar. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi, interpretasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) nilai akidah dalam roman ini mencerminkan unsur rukun iman, seperti keimanan kepada Allah, kitab-kitab-Nya, hari akhir, serta qada dan qadar; (2) nilai akhlak tercermin dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, diri sendiri, keluarga, dan masyarakat; dan (3) nilai syariah mencakup aspek ibadah, muamalah, munakahat, dan jinayah. Adapun hubungan antara nilai budaya dan religius terlihat dari integrasi sistem budaya matrilineal Minangkabau yang menempatkan perempuan sebagai pendidik utama dalam keluarga dengan ajaran Islam mengenai peran ibu. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter melalui pendekatan sastra. Namun, keterbatasan penelitian terletak pada fokus yang hanya mencakup satu karya sastra. Disarankan penelitian lanjutan membandingkan beberapa karya untuk memperluas cakupan temuan.

Abstract

This study explores the application of the Talqin Jama’ah method to improve the effectiveness of Qur’an reading learning for 2A grade students at TPA SDN 5 Salamae. Using Classroom Action Research with planning, action, observation, and reflection cycles, the study involved 17 students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The results show a significant improvement in students’ Qur’an reading skills and engagement from Cycle I to Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that the Talqin Jama’ah method effectively enhances learning and supports better Qur’an literacy in early learners.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine partnership patterns in increasing the productivity of inter-island transportation services in the Sangkarrang District archipelago. The method used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis, considering the empirical perceptions of transportation users, operators, regulators and also the public to be able to explain how the existence of the marine transportation service system in the Makassar archipelago. The sample was selected based on the criteria of population, area and potential of the region, using probability sampling with cluster random sampling to determine the potential conditions and economic activities of the community. Field physical studies and quantitative statistics were conducted to explain the conditions. The results of the study showed that partnership patterns involving the government, the private sector, and local communities have proven to be able to increase the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of transportation services. Forms of partnerships such as operational management, investment, and training have proven to have a direct impact on increasing the frequency of trips, more regular ship maintenance, and increasing the capacity and quality of human resources.
