ABSTRACH The background of The research was. This research  is motivated by the difficulty students answer the teacherâs question about the subject before and the lack of students understanding in mathematical concept with applying active learning strategy by Index Card Match to be better from the students mathematical concept with apply conventional learning at grade seventh of MTsTI Batang Kabung Padang of academic 2013/2014 years. This research is experimental research with the random design of subject. The population is the student seventh of MTsTI Batang Kabung Padang of academic 2013/2014 years. The sample has to with randomly the instrument are quiz and test. Based on the result of the research, quiz result increased each meeting. Based result of data analysis, it is know sample class is distribute normally and homogenously. So the hypothesis of the research will accept that mean is the understanding of student mathematical concept with apply active learning type Index Card Match with quiz is better from conventional learning at grade seventh of MTsTI Batang Kabung Padang

ABSTRACT The background of this research was the lack of students understanding mathematical concept, the students didnât attentions for teacher explanation and lacke students noted the subject describes teachers. The purpose of this research is to knows students understanding in mathematical concept with applying active learning strategy by using guided note taking with quiz to be better from the student mathematical concept with apply the conventional learning at grade eighth of SMPN 23 Padang of academic 2013/2014 years. This research is experimental research with the random design of subject. The population is the students grade eight of SMP 23 Padang of academic 2013/2014 years. The sample has to with randomly that choosen grade VIII1 has experimental class and VIII2 has control class. The instrument are quiz and test. The type of test is essay with reliabilitas test is 0,86. The analyze technique of the data using one side test t with software MINITAB. Based on analyze of the data to the real  α=0,05 the result P-value = 0,008. P-value  is less than from α= 0,05, so the hypothesis of the research will accept, that mean is the understanding of students mathematical concept with apply active learning strategy by using guided note taking with quiz is better from the students understanding mathematical concept with apply conventional learning at grade eighth of SMPN 23 Padang.

ABSTRACTResearch motivated by an understanding of mathematical concepts students are still low, students are less familiar and issued an opinion, avestion and ideas in the process of learning mathematics. Study aims to determine the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts by learning the types of groups active learning to studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts class seven SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. This type of research is experimental, with the design of the random penelitian subbjek. Technigue of random sampling 72 grade class was selected as the axperimental and control classes of 74 grade. Instruments used in this study is a test of understanding of mathematical concepts. Used form is the essay test and it was reliable. Data analysis techniques used were mann whitney test. Based on the results of the data analysis it is known that one of the classes are not normally distributed sample. Beconcluded that the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts by applying active learning study group type is better than the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning.

ABSTRACT The 4th grade Students on SDN 26 Gasan Kecil has used rely on one book for mathematical learning process. Therefore most difficult for them to understanding especially for the Multiple Numbers and Factors of Numbers. They have not been able to knowleage constructs. This research is for create a constructivisme valied module. The metode of this study are Research and Development with using of 4-D models in consists of 4 phases: definition or requirements analysis, design, development and the disseminate. However, the stages through which this research is only up to the third stages development the are validity, efektivity and practicability. However from these 3rd phak used for validity only. The conclusion of the Module validation are Very Valid in Terms of Content and Constructs. ABSTRACT This research was designed for determining whether the mathematics conceptual understanding of students taught by using technique Numbered Head of Structured cooperative learning was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning. This was an experimental  research wich used pre eksperimental design: static group comparison. The data was collected by using a on posttest mathematics conceptual understanding. The results of hypothesis test showed that P-value=0,000 was smaller than α=0,05, indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. Thus, it was concluded that the mathematics conceptual understanding of students taught by using technique Numbered Head of Structured cooperative learning was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning of SMPN 10 Padang.

This research is motivated by low learning achievement math of students andmany students are not sure with their answer and prefer have a copy from theirfriend. The objective of this study to know if applying the model of CooperativeLearning techniques Two stay Two Stray effect on students learning achievementof Mathematic students grade X1 IIS 1 SMAN 16 Padang and how studentslearning attitude after using the model of Cooperative Learning techniques Twostay Two Stray. Type of this research is pre-experiment with scheme of researchPre-test and Post-test group. The hypothesis result using t test showed thathypothesis was accepted with value of thitung is 11.92 and the value of studentsâattitude based on the result of the 1st observation is 3.13 with criteria B (good)and at the 2nd meeting with criteria SB (very good). The background of this research is the use of unvaried learning resources causes tired and bored students in following the lecture. Boredom experienced make the students difficult to think creatively, so that they only work based on the example problems and discussion of the lecturer given. To solve the problems, one of the media that can be used is a computer-based learning media. This research aims to see the effectiveness of student learning media towards the attitudes of students in the subject of Space Geometry. Type of research is a developmental research. This research developed a  computer-based learning media on the subject of space geometry. Model of development used on this research is a model of instructional Development Institute (IDI). IDI applies the principles of systems approach. There are three stages of a systems approach, namely the discovery (define) or a needs analysis, development (develop), and evaluation (Evaluate). The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire of attitude. Computer-based instructional media on the lecture of Space Geometry has a positive attitude towards students. It is found from the results of the questionnaire that student attitudes toward computer-based learning media are  interested and very interested in computer-based learning media. This is pictured out by the results of percentage ranging between 66% - 89%. Based on the previous explanation, it can be concluded that the use of computer-based learning media has a positive influence, so that it can be used as a medium of learning in the subject of Space Geometry.

Classroom Action Research is one effort that can be done by professional teachers in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of community service is to improve teachers' understanding in understanding PTK and can carry out PTK. This activity is intended for math teachers who are members of MGMP in High School. The form of service activities carried out in this activity is in the form of material delivery, practice of making proposals and consulting tasks. The workshop activity was attended by 30 high school mathematics teachers in Solok City. The results of this activity manifested 30 class Action research proposals.Keywords: PTK, MGMP, Mathematics Teachers. AbstrakPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru profesional dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk menigkatkan pemahaman guru dalam memahami PTK serta dapat melaksanakan PTK. Kegiatan ini diperuntukan bagi guru-guru matematika yang tergabung dalam MGMP SMA Kota Solok. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah  berupa penyampaian materi, praktik pembuatan proposal dan konsultasi tugas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan Kontekstual  Bermedia Power Point terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia Kelas VIII SMPN 4 Bireuen. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel dari penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa kelas eksperimen (VIII/4) sebanyak 23 siswa dan siswa kelas kontrol (VIII/5) yang terdiri dari 24 siswa. Siswa kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual bermedia power point, sedangkan siswa kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil analisis data normalitas di kelas eksperimen Lhitung 0.06 dan Ltabel 0.17, sedangkan di kelas kontrol Lhitung 0.06 dan Ltabel 0.17. Berarti data siswa dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi Normal. Uji kesamaan dua varian Fhitung =1.27 dan Ftabel =2.03 maka diperoleh Fhitung< Ftabel hal ini menunjukkan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol mempunyai varian yang homogen. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel (9.38 > 2.02) maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Penerapan Pendekatan Kontekstual  Bermedia Power Point terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi pada Manusia Kelas VIII SMPN 4 Bireuen. Kata kunci            : Hasil Belajar, Pendekatan Kontekstual, Media Power Point, Sistem Ekskresi pada
