Abstract

Background: The results of a vaccine acceptance survey conducted by the Ministry of Health together with the Indonesian Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (ITAGI) with the support of UNICEF and WHO in September 2020 showed that most people (74%) were aware of the government's plan to carry out COVID-19 vaccination. The government targets 181,500,000 Indonesians to receive the vaccine to achieve herd immunity. Through this vaccination effort, it is hoped that it will reduce the COVID-19 positivity rate. The positivity rate is the ratio between the number of positive cases of Covid-19 and the number of tests carried out. The purpose of this study was to qualitatively examine the management analysis of the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination in reducing positivity rate in Boyolali Regency Health Office.Subjects and Method: This was a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling. Data was collected through indepth interviews, document review and observation. The data is processed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and triangulation of sources and methods. Results:  The implementation of vaccination in the coverage area of the Boyolali Health Service was able to reduce the positivity rate in Boyolali. The COVID-19 vaccination procedure is carried out based on the requirements for the vaccine recipient community. According to the coordinator of the vaccination implementation at one of the hospitals in Boyolali (informant 1), they screened the patient's condition before starting the vaccination. In addition to screening medical history, vaccine participants must be confirmed to be in a negative condition or not suffering from COVID-19 disease. Data from the Boyolali Health Office shows that since the vaccine began (mid-February), the number of COVID-19 sufferers has decreased. Conclusion: The management of the Covid-19 vaccination implementation in the Boyolali Health Service coverage area was able to reduce the positivity rate in Boyolali Regency. After giving the vaccine, the number of positive Covid-19 patients is in the range of 10 to 20 cases per day. Keywords: vaccination, Covid-19, positivity rateCorrespondence: Tifa Aviandari. Abstract

Background: Overtraining is commonly associated with elevated oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, and structural damage to muscle fibers, all of which contribute to a decline in physical performance. This study aimed to assess the impact of aerobic exercise on biomarkers including malondialdehyde (MDA), interleukin-6 (IL-6), caspase-3, nitric oxide (NO), superoxide dismutase (SOD), as well as the integrity of the sarcolemma. Methods: A six-week experimental study was conducted using 24 rats, which were randomly divided into three groups (n = 8 per group): a negative control group (no treatment), an aerobic exercise group, and a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) group. The levels of biochemical markers, including malondialdehyde (MDA), interleukin-6 (IL-6), nitric oxide (NO), and superoxide dismutase (SOD), were measured using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. Additionally, the expression of caspase-3 was determined through immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis. Muscle tissue damage was evaluated by means of histopathological examination. The data were analyzed using a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by the Mann-Whitney post hoc test to assess differences between groups. Results: The findings indicated that aerobic exercise did not result in a statistically significant reduction in malondialdehyde (MDA) (p = 0.833), interleukin-6 (IL-6) (p = 0.800), nitric oxide (NO) (p = 0.791), or superoxide dismutase (SOD) (p = 0.520) levels. Nevertheless, the aerobic exercise group exhibited a significantly lower expression of caspase-3 compared to the other groups (p = 0.023). Furthermore, aerobic exercise was associated with a significant reduction in muscle tissue damage (p = 0.001). Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that both aerobic exercise and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) have the potential to be utilized as therapeutic approaches for mitigating exercise-induced muscle damage, primarily through their positive influence on sarcolemma stability. However, additional clinical investigations are necessary to confirm these results and establish their relevance for clinical implementation.

Abstract

There is no standardized model of interprofessional education (IPE) that is performed in community settings. This study aimed to develop and acquire suggestions for a model of IPE implementation in such environments. This study employed educational design research (EDR) with a qualitative research approach. Step 1 (Analysis and Exploration) was carried out through focus group discussions (FGDs) with students and instructors to explore their experiences with the IPE program, which then proceeds to Step 2 (Design and Construction) by developing a draft model. Eventually, Step 3 (Evaluation and Reflection) was carried out by conducting in-depth interviews with experts to obtain suggestions for the draft model. This study revealed three key themes from FGDs: 1) preparedness of students and families, 2) Coordination, and 3) Students’ assessments. Based on in-depth interviews, the experts provided suggestions categorized into four themes: 1) Characteristics of Participants, 2) Detailed preparation and implementation, 3) Student assessment, and 4) Former thematic definition of health problems. The IPE model in a community setting was perceived as a positive learning experience, and several recommendations were added to increase its effectiveness. Further research is recommended to facilitate broader implementation of the model widely

Abstract

This scoping review explores the roles of interleukin 1β, fibroblast growth factor, fibroblasts, keratinocytes, granulation tissue, and collagen density in the wound healing process, focusing on inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling phases. A systematic literature search identified studies investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in wound repair. Findings reveal that fibroblast-derived exosomes carrying miR-93-5p inhibit autophagy, delaying diabetic wound healing. Controlled growth factor delivery enhances angiogenesis, fibroblast proliferation, and collagen deposition, accelerating tissue regeneration. SPRR1B+ keratinocytes facilitate rapid re-epithelialization, while granulation tissue provides essential scaffolding for cell migration and neovascularization. Elevated IL-1β impairs healing by increasing matrix metalloproteinases, degrading collagen. Natural compounds like red fruit oil and Binahong leaf extract promote angiogenesis and collagen synthesis. Genetic variations in inflammatory cytokines influence healing outcomes, indicating potential for personalized therapies. This review consolidates current evidence, providing insights into cellular and molecular interactions critical for effective wound repair and guiding future regenerative medicine strategies.
