Abstract

The use of environmental sensors in EAIS goes beyond traditional accounting by embedding environmental sustainability into the core of financial management. It enables companies to meet sustainability targets more effectively by offering visibility into their environmental footprint, leading to better strategic planning, risk management, and compliance with environmental regulations. The study follows a descriptive and exploratory research design to identify the current challenges and opportunities in integrating environmental sensors into EAIS. The integration of environmental sensors into Environmental Accounting Information Systems (EAIS) represents a significant innovation in the field of environmental accounting. By enabling real-time data collection and continuous monitoring of environmental impacts, this system allows businesses to manage resources more effectively, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance corporate transparency. The sensor-integrated EAIS not only optimizes resource use but also helps businesses align their operations with sustainability goals, providing a comprehensive view of both environmental and financial performance.

Abstract

The problem found from interviews with physics teachers at SMAN 1 Gaung who said that students' understanding of physics material was still low. This is due to the use of learning models that have not been varied so that students' understanding of physics concepts is still low. Efforts to improve students' concept understanding can be applied through learning using the Susan Loucks-Horsley model with a contextual approach. This study aims to improve students' concept understanding. The type of research used is quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Gaung. The samples used were XI MIPA 1 class as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 class as the control class taken by random sampling which had gone through normality and homogeneity tests. Data were determined through tests that were prepared based on seven indicators of concept understanding. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to determine the category of explanation of students' concept understanding. The research results obtained from the N-gain test score in the experimental class amounted to 0.7 and the control class amounted to 0.3. The score results show that the understanding of the concept of experimental class students is higher than the control class. This research can be concluded that the Susan Loucks-Horsley model with a contextual approach can improve the understanding of the concept of students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Gaung.

Abstract

The synonymy of meaning between the words khatama and ṭaba'a in the Qur'an has become an important issue in semantic and exegesis studies. These two words are often understood to have similar meanings, namely to close, but have different contextual nuances. This study aims to analyze the semantic differences between khatama and ṭaba'a, and evaluate their relevance in the context of contemporary exegesis. The method used is a qualitative method with semantic-comparative analysis techniques. The results of the study show that khatama tends to be used to describe God's action in closing the heart permanently as a consequence of rejecting the truth, while ṭaba'a is more of a locking action that is oriented towards cause and effect. In the context of contemporary exegesis, this difference is relevant to understanding the dynamics of guidance and rejection of the truth in modern society. In conclusion, khatama and ṭaba'a are not entirely synonymous, but rather have specific contextual meanings. This study makes an important contribution in deepening the study of the semantics of the Qur'an and enriching the interpretation of exegesis with a contextual approach.

Abstract

 This research is based on low, medium and high problem solving abilities to solve contextual problems. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the problem solving abilities of SMP Negeri 34 Medan class VIII using rectangular material. The next data collection technique is interviews. The test was carried out on 29 students, where three people were selected who had high (S1), medium (S2), and low (S3) problem solving abilities. Based on the results of tests and interviews, students in the high category have four areas of mathematical problem solving ability: the ability to understand problems, the ability to formulate problem solving plans, the ability to solve problems, and recheck the answers they get.  This shows that the indicators can be met. Students show that in the medium category they are able to fulfill three indicators of mathematical problem solving ability: the ability to understand a problem, the ability to formulate a problem solving plan, and the ability to carry out problem solving. . On the other hand, students who are in the low category show that they are only able to fulfill two indicators, namely understanding the problem and planning a solution to the problem.

Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying leaves quite a lasting psychological impact and seems to be a nightmare for a person's life, especially for victims, especially those who do not have good social adjustments and are rather slow in adapting to their environment. The negative impact experienced by someone who has been a victim of bullying is the main locus and becomes an accentuation and will be elaborated more deeply by researchers. This type of research is qualitative research carried out by observing phenomena that often occur in the campus environment. At least policy holders are able to provide strategic steps as a form of adult responsibility for the psychological and academic development of the nation's future generation. This type of research is qualitative research carried out by observing phenomena that often occur in the campus environment, linked to existing theories as a result of previous research and will be explained in descriptive form. The results of this research are an applicable form of preventing bullying in the campus environment, considering that the campus is one of the laboratories producing Indonesia's next generation.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the poverty alleviation programs launched by the government in 2007 and has been ongoing until now. However, there are several problems in its implementation, including: fund distribution, the length of time for fund disbursement, and not all poor people receive PKH assistance. This study aims to see the contribution of the utilization of the Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance funds in poverty alleviation in Pesisir Selatan Regency; obstacles faced in the utilization of assistance funds (PKH); and strategies for utilizing assistance funds (PKH) to be more effective. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Informants were selected using purposive sampling. The results of this study show the contribution of the utilization of assistance funds (PKH) in poverty alleviation in Pesisir Selatan Regency. In the fields of education and health, it has been realized well. The obstacles faced in the utilization of assistance funds (PKH) in Pesisir Selatan Regency, namely the length of time for fund disbursement, hampered Households (KPM) in buying school uniforms for their children, so they borrowed money before the funds were disbursed. The strategy for utilizing assistance funds (PKH) to be more effective is to conduct outreach to KPM and provide a clear understanding so that they understand the objectives of the program as well as the government's monitoring and evaluation of the program.

Abstract

Tangerang Regency has numerous tourist destinations spread across various locations. However, tourists often face difficulties in determining an efficient travel route due to traffic congestion and irregular distances between sites. This issue leads to suboptimal travel time and reduces the overall comfort of the tourism experience. This study aims to optimize tourism travel routes in Tangerang Regency using a genetic algorithm approach based on the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). Data were collected from 17 tourist attractions, including their geographical coordinates, and processed through several genetic algorithm stages: population initialization, selection, crossover, and mutation. The results show that the genetic algorithm successfully produced an optimal route with a total distance of 109.77 km and the best fitness value of 0.009110. Compared to the initial distance before optimization, which was 215.80 km, this result indicates a travel distance efficiency improvement of 49.15%. These findings suggest that the genetic algorithm approach provides an effective solution for tourism route planning. The results are expected to serve as a basis for developing tourism promotion strategies and improving infrastructure in Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran inovatif berupa Pop-Up Book dalam materi geometri bangun ruang guna meningkatkan minat belajar matematika anak-anak di Komunitas Sahabat Prisma Peduli, Medan. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat oleh mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan, melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Media Pop-Up Book dirancang dengan visual menarik dan interaktif, yang memungkinkan anak-anak memahami konsep tiga dimensi secara konkret dan menyenangkan. Implementasi dilakukan terhadap 20 peserta didik usia 9–14 tahun di Rumah Baca Prisma Peduli. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep bangun ruang serta peningkatan antusiasme belajar, dengan lebih dari 65% peningkatan pengetahuan rata-rata. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif dan sikap positif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya penggunaan media kreatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika yang menyenangkan, serta mendorong pengembangan keterampilan guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran inovatif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

Tingkat kemampuan membaca yang masih rendah pada masyarakat Desa Pegajahan khususnya pada anak tingkat sekolah dasar, hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran disekolah yang tidak menarik sehingga siswa merasa bosan. Selain itu, terdapat pula masalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat dalam penggunaan, penyimpanan, pembuangan obat kadaluarsa yang sesuai prosedur, serta kurangnya pemanfatan tanaman obat sebagai salah satu pilihan obat pertama dalam pengobatan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca masyarakat tingkat sekolah dasar serta meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang DAGUSIBU dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengunaan tanaman sebagai obat tradisional. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sosialisasi di sekolah dasar dengan penambahan media pembelajaran, les tambahan dan literasi perpustakaan keliling serta diadakan kegiatan sosialisasi DAGUSIBU dan sosialisasi pemanfatan obat tradisional. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan maka hasil meningkatnya kemampuan membaca masyarakat dimana membaca memiliki peranan penting dalam belajar karena membaca dapat membuat siswa memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan, perkembangan daya nalar, sosial dan emosional. Literasi tidak hanya penting pada bidang Pendidikan saja, namun juga sangat penting pada bidang Kesehatan, maka didapatkan hasil melalui kegiatan sosialisasi adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dari masyarakat tentang DAGUSIBU dan penggunaan obat tradisional dilihat dari antusias masyarakat dalam mencoba membuat sediaan yang berkhasiat sebagai obat tradisional dari tanaman dan masyarakat sudah menyimpan obat serta menggunakannya sesuai prosedur yang baik.

Abstract

Very heterogeneous community conditions where urban environmental conditions cause areas to become congested and result in environmental conditions that tend to be slums. City environmental conditions, housing, factories and so on must have good access, in order to avoid hazards that will occur such as the danger of residential fires. The development paradigm that exists in Banjarmasin City, the government's role as a provider of public facilities has changed slightly with the community's efforts to participate in assisting the city government in the community-based fire disaster mitigation process. The purpose of this study was to find out how the form of community participation in mitigating fires in the Malay Village, Central Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study, researchers used documentation study techniques, guided interviews and direct observation from the field. The data analysis technique that will be used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that the presence of the self-help Fire Brigade (BPK) has become the identity of the city both at the national and international levels, as a city of a thousand rivers and a city of a thousand firefighters. Community participation is quite diverse and very innovative in reducing the risk of residential fire disasters in Malay sub-districts. Interestingly, the presence of the self-help Fire Brigade (BPK) is unpaid, the members on duty do not get a salary in carrying out this humanitarian task, their participation is sincere and voluntary
