Abstract

The novel "Bumi dan Lukanya" by Revianaaprl tells the story of the life journey of Bumi, the main character, and covers themes of family issues, friendship, romance, and sibling relationships, all packaged well. The author skillfully conveys messages with words that touch the readers' hearts, and the story depicts events that can occur in everyday life. This novel is analyzed using a pragmatic approach, appreciating literary works based on their function to deliver and convey purposes to the readers. The aim of this research is to describe the novel "Bumi dan Lukanya" by Revianaaprl using a pragmatic approach. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research indicate that readers can gain values from the novel "Bumi dan Lukanya" that depict Bumi, the main character. Moreover, readers can derive deep meanings and lessons about courage, honesty, self-confidence, discipline, and fairness found in this novel. Through this novel, readers are also encouraged to appreciate the time we have in this world to avoid future regrets.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the inequality of per capita consumption expenditure in South Sumatra, the influence of per capita GRDP, education level, population dependency ratio, and Human Development Index among districts/cities in South Sumatra during the period 2012-2023. The research method used is quantitative, with a regression analysis approach to test hypotheses about the relationship between the mentioned variables. Data were obtained from official sources of the South Sumatra Statistics Indonesia (BPS), covering consumption expenditure inequality, education level percentage, population dependency ratio, and the Human Development Index. The results of the analysis show that districts/cities in South Sumatra are categorized as moderately unequal between 0.25-0.35, however, Pali Regency, Musi Rawas Utara Regency, and Musi Rawas Regency have low inequality values < 0.25, while Palembang City and Lubuk Linggau City are almost approaching the very unequal criteria with values of 0.34 and 0.33 respectively. In the estimation of the multiple regression model from 4 (four) independent variables, there are 3 (three) variables that significantly influence per capita consumption expenditure, namely: Population Education Percentage (ED), Population Dependency Ratio (DR), and Human Development Index (IPM).

Abstract

Background: Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are a common medical condition worldwide. Hemorrhoids occur when blood vessels in the anal or rectal area swell and become inflamed. Factors contributing to the occurrence of hemorrhoids include age, occupation, obesity, gender, constipation, and prolonged sitting during bowel movements. This research aims to provide valuable information for the Indonesian community, doctors, and researchers regarding the risk factors associated with hemorrhoid occurrence. Methods: The research design used in this study is an Observational Case Control with a Retrospective approach. The population in this study consisted of patients who visited the surgical department of RSUD Raja Ahmad Tabib from 2019 to 2022, totaling 6,549 patients. Sample selection was done using Simple Random Sampling, with a total sample size of 82 individuals. The research results were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: In this study, the Chi-Square test analysis revealed factors related to the occurrence of hemorrhoids: Based on Age (p=0.672), Based on Gender (p=0.004), Based on Obesity (p=0.049), and Based on Occupation (p=0.000). Conclusion: Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant association between Gender, Obesity, and Occupation with the occurrence of hemorrhoids among patients in the surgical outpatient department of Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional General Hospital from 2019 to 2022.

Abstract

Background: Stunting merupakan permasalahan kesehatan yang signifikan di Indramayu, terutama di kalangan masyarakat pesisir yang memiliki akses terbatas terhadap layanan kesehatan, pendidikan, dan gizi. Kondisi ekonomi yang kurang mendukung semakin memperburuk situasi, menghambat pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi anak-anak. Upaya pencegahan stunting di wilayah ini perlu dilakukan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pendekatan yang inovatif dan berbasis teknologi. Metode: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan perempuan pesisir melalui pemanfaatan alat digital guna meningkatkan pemantauan kesehatan anak dan mencegah stunting. Kegiatan yang dilakukan mencakup pelatihan intensif mengenai penggunaan teknologi digital untuk memantau tumbuh kembang anak secara mandiri. Selain itu, diberikan sesi edukasi mengenai pola asuh, gizi seimbang, dan kesehatan anak guna meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Hasil: Program ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan perangkat digital secara efektif membantu perempuan pesisir dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan perhatian terhadap kesehatan anak. Peserta menjadi lebih aktif dalam memantau pertumbuhan anak serta menerapkan pola asuh dan pemenuhan gizi yang lebih baik. Kesimpulan: Pemberdayaan perempuan pesisir melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital berkontribusi dalam upaya pencegahan stunting di Indramayu. Pendekatan ini dapat diadopsi di wilayah lain dengan kondisi serupa sebagai upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the political economy of the Roman-Persian period and the contemporary era through an Islamic perspective, especially in terms of resource management, wealth distribution, and the influence of policies on society, such as social inequality, resource exploitation, and moral crisis. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach using literature studies on secondary sources. The results showed that the Roman-Persian economic and political system, although effective in maintaining imperial stability, tended to create social inequality due to high taxes and territorial exploitation. Meanwhile, the contemporary economic system presents technological innovation and global economic integration, but it is vulnerable to economic crises and injustices. The conclusion of this study is that Islamic principles such as zakat, the prohibition of usury, and the fair distribution of wealth can be an alternative solution to build a just and sustainable economic system, both in the past and in the present.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah, rendahnya kecepatan tendangan lurus atlet pencak silat Perguruan Satria Muda Indonesia Kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi daya ledak otot tungkai dan kelentukan pinggang terhadap kecepatan tendangan lurus atlet Pencak Silat Satria Muda Indonesia Kota Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian adalah korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh atlet Pencak Silat Perguruan Satria Muda Indonesia Kota Bukittinggi sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 orang. Data daya ledak otot tungkai diambil menggunakan tes vertical jump, kelentukan pingang diambil menggunakan tes sit and reach dan mengukur kcepatan tendangan lurus digunakan tes kecepatan tendangan lurus. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment, regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda.Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh terdapat kontribusi keberartian yang signifikan antara daya ledak tungkai terhadap kecepatan tendangan lurus atlet Pencak Silat Perguruan Satria Muda Indonesia Kota Bukittinggi sebesar 79,21%, terdapat kontribusi keberartian yang signifikan antara kelentukan pinggang terhadap kecepatan tendangan lurus pada atlet Pencak Silat Perguruan Satria Muda Indonesia Kota Bukittinggi sebesar 90,25%, dan terdapat kontribusi keberartian yang signifikan antara daya ledak otot tungkai dan kelentukan pinggang terhadap kecepatan tendangan lurus pada atlet Pencak Silat Perguruan Satria Muda Indonesia Kota Bukittinggi sebesar 86,81%.

Abstract

Shariah Savings and Credit and Finance Cooperatives (KSPPS) are microfinance institutions that collect and distribute assets to people who need these funds. This research aims to find out the financial management and internal and external systems in KSPPS BMT Ar-Rohmah Bandongan Magelang; this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interview techniques, primary and secondary data collection, and documentation. Using SWOT analysis, we can find the weaknesses, strengths, threats, and opportunities in KSPPS Ar-rohmah institution. The results of this study show that the management system in KSPPS BMT Ar-rohmah institution uses a Sharia financing system and has Sharia principles, as well as having several opportunities and weaknesses and threats for institutions; KSPPS BMT Ar-rohmah mitigates risks by paying attention to character, capacity, capital, collateral and economic conditions in customers.

Abstract

The garment industry plays an important role in supporting the Indonesian economy with a significant growth of 15.08% in 2019. This study aims to reduce the defect rate at Line 9 Factory C, PT. NPC to strengthen supply chain performance, especially performance related to the defect free supply chain. This study will explore in detail the production defect rate using the Seven Tools approach and design a defect reduction strategy with a Dynamic System Simulation approach. The Seven Tools method helps identify dominant defects such as Poor Shape, Open Seam, and Broken Stitch through Check Sheet, Pareto, and Fishbone Diagram analysis. The simulation results show that the Company's existing condition has an average defect rate of 12.15%, exceeding the company's target of less than 10%. The proposed strategic steps are to conduct interventions in the form of intensive training for operators and the addition of Inline QC officers. The simulation results show that training reduces the defect rate by 0.70%, while the addition of Inline QC officers reduces the defect rate by 1.16%. The combination of both strategies resulted in the largest reduction in defect rates of up to 1.34%, indicating a positive direction of improvement towards the company's target. The implementation of quality control strategies not only increased operational efficiency, but also increased the company's supply chain performance.
