Abstract

Flat-rate pricing (buffet pricing) is a common strategy in the global telecommunications industry, yet its adoption in Indonesia remains limited due to regulatory challenges, network capacity constraints, and diverse customer preferences. This study aims to optimize buffet pricing by considering user segmentation and varied service consumption patterns. A metaheuristic approach, specifically Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), is employed to determine the optimal pricing that maximizes operator profit while maintaining customer satisfaction. A customer demand model is developed using a triangular distribution to reflect the asymmetric variability of usage. Results indicate that heavy users benefit significantly from flat-rate plans, whereas light users are better served by a hybrid pricing scheme. PSO demonstrates superior adaptability and efficiency compared to conventional methods, particularly when parameter tuning accelerates convergence. The study also highlights the importance of pricing flexibility to address heterogeneous customer needs. This study offers practical contributions to the development of data-driven, competitive pricing strategies in the evolving telecommunications market.

Abstract

Control and monitoring of water tanks in the Information and Computer Technology (ICT) Building of the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic still experience limitations regarding filling and supervision in the tank. Water will continue to fill the tank and indirectly will result in energy waste and can also cause damage to the pump if the water in the main well has run out. The automatic monitoring and control system for filling water tanks for the Information and Computer Technology building uses ATmega 328 as a microcontroller that will control the entire system, Ultrasonic Sensors to measure water levels, relays as pump automation, flow meter sensors as detectors of water flow to the tank and the esp8266 module is used to send data to android using the virtuino application. Monitoring the water level when filling this tank is expected to be one step in saving water and energy. Based on testing, the average delay response of the virtuino display using WiFi and simcard. The delay on and off the pump will be calculated. This condition can be overcome by implementing the internet of things (IoT) on the tank in the Information and Computer Technology Building. The system to be built uses the Virtuino display.

Abstract

Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic has UPT Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Data Center that manages important infrastructure for the teaching and learning process. This study aims to design and build an IoT-based air temperature and humidity monitoring system, using Fuzzy Tsukamoto algorithms to handle highly variable sensor data. Blackbox testing showed that the system managed to provide real-time server room condition information and send notifications when conditions reached a certain limit. Turning the AC on and off and incandescent lamps also work well. Whitebox testing successfully ensures that Tsukamoto's Fuzzy algorithm is implemented correctly and that hardware integration runs without problems. The Blackbox test managed to achieve 100% da success on and the Whitebox only achieved 100% on both Tests.

Abstract

Jagung atau dalam bahasa latin Zea Mays merupakan adalah salah satu dari jenis tanaman pangan dari keluarga rumput-rumputan yang dikelompokkan dalam tanaman biji-bijian. Jagung memiliki banyak varietas. Adapun varietas yang telah dilepas oleh Menteri Pertanian hingga Oktober tahun 2022 sebanyak 361 varietas, yaitu jagung hibrida sebanyak 298 varietas, jagung komposit sebanyak 59 varietas, dan ada sebanyak 4 varietas jagung hibrida produk rekayasa genetik (PRG). Petani jagung biasanya memilih dan menentukan bibit jagung yang akan dibudidayakan berdasarkan rekomendasi pedagang bibit jagung atau dari rekan sesama petani jagung. Namun demikian sering dijumpai hasil panen jagung tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi dan target yang diharapkan. Bahkan, tidak jarang petani jagung mengalami gagal panen yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya dikarenakan bibit jagung yang dipilih bukan merupakan varietas bibit jagung unggul. Sistem ini dirancang untuk membantu para petani jagung khususnya di daerah Aceh dalam memilih dan menentukan bibit jagung unggul untuk dibudidayakan dengan tujuan mendapatkan hasil panen yang memuaskan. Sistem ini menggunakan algoritma Artificial Neural Network untuk melakukan pemilihan. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) adalah algoritma Machine Learning dengan model komputasi yang terinspirasi dari prinsip kerja otak manusia. Artificial Neural Network digunakan dalam aplikasi ini karena dapat melakukan prediksi dengan akurat. Hasil yang diharapkan dengan adanya sistem ini petani dapat memilih varietas bibit jagung unggul untuk dibudidayakan, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan stok dalam negeri dengan memanfaatkan komputer dalam tahapan pemilihan bibit unggul. Penerapan algortima ANN Multi Layer Perceptron pada aplikasi ini menggunakan 21 data varietas jagung dengan 504 dataset yang dimasukkan mendapatkan hasil nilai tertinggi dengan persentase akurasi 90,47%. Dengan hasil tersebut, algortima Artificial Neural Network Multi Layer Perceptron dapat digunakan untuk Aplikasi Machine Learning dalam menentukan pemilihan varietas bibit jagung unggul Abstract Corn or in Latin Zea Mays is one of the types of food crops from the grass family which is grouped into grain crops. Corn has many varieties. The varieties that have been released by the Minister of Agriculture until October 2022 are 361 varieties, namely 298 varieties of hybrid corn, 59 varieties of composite corn, and there are as many as 4 varieties of genetically modified (PRG) hybrid corn. Maize farmers usually choose their maize seeds based on recommendations from maize seed traders or fellow maize farmers. However, maize yields are often not in line with expectations and targets. In fact, it is not uncommon for corn farmers to experience crop failure caused by several factors, one of which is because the corn seeds chosen are not superior corn seed varieties. This system is designed to help corn farmers, especially in the Aceh area, in choosing and determining superior corn seeds for cultivation with the aim of getting satisfactory yields. This system uses Artificial Neural Network algorithm to make the selection. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is a Machine Learning algorithm with a computational model inspired by the working principles of the human brain. Artificial Neural Network is used in this application because it can make accurate predictions. The expected results with this system are that farmers can choose superior varieties of corn seeds to be cultivated, so that they can meet the needs of domestic stocks by utilizing computers in the stages of selecting superior seeds. The application of ANN Multi Layer Perceptron algortima in this application using 21 corn variety data with 504 datasets entered gets the highest value results with an accuracy percentage of 90.47%. With these results, the Artificial Neural Network Multi Layer Perceptron algortima can be used for Machine Learning applications in determining the selection of superior corn seed varieties.

Abstract

Pornografi adalah representasi seksual dalam media yang menampilkan aktivitas seksual dan bahan yang menekankan pada unsur-unsur seksual yang dapat menyebabkan kecanduan. Salah satu faktor penyebab banyaknya pecandu pornografi di masyarakat karena kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman terhadap dampak negatif pornografi. Kesadaran diri akan membantu masyarakat terutama generasi muda untuk dapat meninggalkan konten pornografi dan terhindar dari dampaknya dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi bagi para pecandu dan masyarakat untuk menghentikan kebiasaan menikmati pornografi dengan cara membuat Chatbot Porn Addict Detection (ChatPAD) menggunakan metode Support Vector Machine(SVM) melalui pendekatan psikologi PAST(Porn Addiction Screening Tool) dengan model pertanyaan Cyber Pornography Inventory Use. Chatbot memiliki fitur untuk mendeteksi tingkat kecanduan seseorang terhadap pornografi sekaligus memberikan pemahaman terhadap dampak bahaya dan cara berhenti dari adiksi pornografi. Hasil penelitian ini, chatbot berhasil memprediksi tingkat kecanduan pornografi dari para pengguna menggunakan metode SVM  dengan akurasi yang baik dan akurat. Tingkat akurasi yang didapatkan berdasarkan pengujian confusion matrix mencapai 98.3% pada label_2 dan label_3 sedangkan tingkat akurasi terendah terletak pada label_1. Hasil presisi tertinggi dimiliki oleh label_1 dengan angka 98.4% diikuti label_0 sedangkan presisi terendah adalah label_4. Hasil recal tertinggi adalah 87.8% dari label_2 sedangkan terendah adalah 7.14% dari label_1. Hasil f1-score mencatatkan label_2 memiliki hasil tertinggi dengan score 91.1%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut maka diperlukan peningkatan performa pada label_1 karena memiliki f1-score dan recall yang rendah.  AbstractPornography is a sexual representation in the media that displays sexual activities and materials that emphasize sexual elements that can cause addiction. One of the factors causing the number of pornography addicts in society is due to a lack of awareness and understanding of the negative effects of pornography. Self-awareness will help the community, especially the younger generation, to be able to leave pornographic content and avoid its impact in the long run. This research aims to provide solutions for addicts and the community to stop the habit of enjoying pornography by creating a Porn Addict Detection Chatbot (ChatPAD) using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method through the PAST (Porn Addiction Screening Tool) psychology approach with the Cyber Pornography Inventory Use question model. The chatbot has features to detect the level of addiction of a person to pornography as well as provide understanding of the harmful effects and how to stop pornography addiction. The results of this study, the chatbot successfully predicts the level of pornography addiction of users using the SVM method with good and accurate accuracy. The accuracy level obtained based on confusion matrix testing reaches 98.3% on label_2 and label_3 while the lowest accuracy level is located on label_1. The highest precision result is owned by label_1 with 98.4% followed by label_0 while the lowest precision is label_4. The highest recall result is 87.8% from label_2 while the lowest is 7.14% from label_1. The f1-score results recorded label_2 has the highest result with a score of 91.1%. Based on the test results, it is necessary to improve the performance of label_1 because it has a low f1-score and recall.
