Abstract

The research on the applicability of game-based Contextual Teaching andLearning (CTL) model on a simple instument problem aims to find out the increase ofthe interest and and achievement of learning science, the response of students andteachers to the application of the models. Classroom action research was conducted inthree cycles. The data of the improvement of interest in learning science and thestudents' and teachers' responses were obtained through a questionnaire. Thecognitive result of the study was obtained through an achievement test. The affectiveand psychomotor results of the study were obtained through an observation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pencemaran logam pada sungaiKaligarang dengan metode Analisis Aktivasi Netron Cepat (AANC). Metode AANCmeliputi metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis kualitatif dapat diketahuibahwa air sungai Kaligarang Semarang mengandung unsur-unsur Mg-24, Cu-63, Zn-65, Al-27, Fe-56, Si-28, K-41,Mn-55, dan P-31serta unsur-unsur logam tersebutterdistribusi merata ke seluruh lokasi pengambilan cuplikan air dan sedimen sungaiKaligarang. Abstract

This research aims to produce teaching materials based Problem Based Learning to improve students? ability of communication and collaboration. This research used R&D method with the procedure of: introduction, plan program, product development. Trial design with one-Group pretest-posttest design, the subjects research class X MIPA 4 of SMA N 1 Juwana. This study aims to describe the characteristics of PBL-based teaching materials, test the level of feasibility, increase the ability of written communication, oral and collaboration, and student responses to teaching materials. The level of advisability and legibility in teaching material examine by the questionnaire and fill in the blank test. The data of ability improvement in written communication taken through the result of pretest and posttest, while the ability in spoken communication and collaboration taken through the result of observation. Students? response was taken through questionnaire after learning process. The results showed that the teaching materials based Problem Based Learning has a level of feasibility and good readability level and can improve students? ability of communication and collaboration.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Kejadian scabies pada manusia banyak dijumpai pada daerah tropis terutama dikalangan anak-anak dari lingkungan masyarakat yang hidup berkelompok dalam kondisi berdesak-desakan, sanitasi dan sosial ekonomi yang relatif rendah. Pada tahun 2011 presentase penyakit scabies di Kabupaten Pontianak sebesar 1,38% dan meningkat pada tahun 2012 menjadi 1,54%. Sedangkan pada tahun 2011 persentase penyakit scabies di Desa Sengkubang sebesar 5,64% dan terjadi kenaikan kasus scabies pada tahun 2012 menjadi 5,67% kasus yang terjadi pada semua kelompok umur di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mempawah Hilir Kabupaten Pontianak. Tujuan : penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian scabies pada masyarakat di Dusun Parit Senin Desa Sengkubang Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mempawah Hilir Kabupaten Pontianak. Metode : Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 55 orang di Dusun Parit Senin Desa Sengkubang. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kontak langsung, riwayat scabies, kepadatan hunian, dan keberadaan hewan ternak sedangkan variabel terikat adalah kejadian scabies. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Uji Ch-Square. Hasil : penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kontak langsung ( p value = 0,000 ; PR = 8, 500), riwayat scabies ( p value = 0,002 dan PR 2,031), kepadatan hunian ( p value = 0,003 ; PR 1,923) dengan kejadian scabies, dan tidak ada hubungan antara keberadaan hewan ternak ( p value = 0,847) dengan kejadian scabies. Saran : lebih meminimalisir kontak langsung dengan penderita scabies, bagi masyarakat yang memiliki riwayat scabies sebaiknya menjaga personal hygiene dan kebersihan lingkungan untuk menghindari munculnya kembali penyakit scabies serta memperhatikan kepadatan hunian rumah agar terhindar dari kontak secara langsung penularan scabies.

Abstract

This research aims to develop STEM student worksheets to determine the characteristics and feasibility of the worksheets, and to know the increase of students creative thinking skills in secondary student. This research method uses the Research and Development (R & D) method. The subjects of the small group trial were IX A and the large scale test subjects were VIII A as the experimental class and VIII B as the control class. LKS is compiled by collaborating on the content of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The results of the feasibility test in terms of the feasibility of content, presentation, and language in criteria very feasible to use in learning activities. Readability test results indicates that LKS is easy to understand by students. The results of the n-gain test for the pretest-posttest score has high criteria. Based on large group trials, STEM-based student worksheets can improve creative thinking skills, namely on aspects of fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality that are characterized by an increase in the value of the pretest-posttest

Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research is "How is the influence of the application of Numbered Head Together type to the learning result of Social Science of the fourth grade students of Public Alementary School 21 Pontianak Barat?". This study aims to obtain information about the effect of the implementation of Numbered Head Together on the results of learning Social Sciences of the fourth grade students of Public Alementary School 21 West Pontianak. This research uses experimental type experimental design (quasy experimental design). With the experimental design of Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Population in this research is all fourth grader of State Elementary School of West Pontianak Sub-district including accredited group B of B is 210 students and still use Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP). The sample of this research is the students of class IV A (control class) which is 29 students and class IV B (experiment class) which is 30 students. Instruments to measure student learning outcomes in the form of tests with multiple choice form as much as 50 questions. Based on the result of data analysis, the mean of post-test of control class is 60,37 and the average of experimental class post-test is 71,2. The result of hypothesis test using t-test (Saparated varian) is obtained tcount = 0,6954 for dk 57 and α = 5% obtained t table equal to 1,995, which means thitung> ttable (0,6954> 1,995), Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is influence of the application of type Number Head Together on Social Science learning on the results of students of fourth grade of Public Alementary School 21 Pontianak Barat. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained ES of 0.83 (zero point eighty three) with high criteria. This means that Numbered Head Together has a high effect on students' learning outcomes on materials that recognize natural resources, economic activities, and technological advances in regencies / cities and provinces in the fourth grade of Pontianak West Elementary School. Keyword : Influence, Numbered Head Together, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Pendekatan SETS merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyajikan keterkaitan sains, lingkungan, teknologi dan masyarakat dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya ke dalam tema sains. Pendekatan ini memiliki karakteristik mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif yang secara tidak langsung juga menumbuhkan nilai sikap/karakter kepada siswa. Internalisasi nilai karakter dan aktivitas dalam pembelajaran dapat diwujudkan dengan kegiatan kelompok yang memungkinkan siswa untuk lebih banyak berinteraksi, salah satunya dengan implementasi media pembelajaran game ular tangga bervisi SETS bermuatan karakter. Media pembelajaran ini berbasis game edukatif dengan adopsi permainan tradisional ular tangga yang dirancang berdasarkan metode research and development (r & d). Hasil penilaian pakar menunjukkan media game ular tangga telah layak uji pakar materi maupun media dengan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan oleh pakar materi sebesar 94,24% dan pakar media sebesar 94,64%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif yang dibuktikan dari adanya perbedaan rata-rata pemahaman siswa melalui uji t dan peningkatan rata-rata (gain) sebesar 0,5 (sedang). Media pembelajaran ini juga mampu meningkatkan aktivitas serta karakter jujur dan bersahabat/komunikatif siswa. SETS approach offers the connections between science, environment, technology and society also their effects to science themes. The characteristic of this approach is the capability to encourage student’s activities indirectly and encourage their characters building. The internalization of character values and students’ activities in learning activities could realize on group activities that enable students to interact more, one of the ways is the implementation of snake and ladder learning media with SETS perspective and containing character values. The basic of this learning media is educative game that adopts a traditional game snake and ladder which designed according to research and development (r & d) method. Experts judgements showed that snake and ladder media was feasible. Both material and media validators gave judgement of very feasible criteria, material validator gave 94,24% and media validator gave 94,64%. The result of this study shows that the media brings positive effects on student’s cognitive outcome showed by students’ average understanding concept difference based on t test result and average understanding improvement (gain) in the amount of 0,5 (moderate). This media also can increase activities and honest-friendly/communicative characters.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam alat bermain sains (ABS) dari barang-barang habis pakai atau limbah. Metode yang diterapkan berupa pelatihan dan workshop yang meliputi kuliah, praktek membuat alat dan peer teaching. ABS yang berhasil dibuat diantaranya tikar warna, pengukuran, menimbang, menakar, magnet, bunyi, pncampuran warna, gravitasi, telepon dari gelas plastik. Setelah kegiatan berlangsung terjadi peningkatan jumlah alat pada masing-masing sekolah. Terjadi pula peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam membuat alat bermain sains. Dari hasil uji coba melalui kegiatan per teaching, hasil belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik siswa meningkat secara signifikan.

Abstract

This community service activity purposes to growth teacher competence tool of play science (ABS) for kindergaten education. The method are training and workshop including lectures, demonstration method and peer teaching.The ABS was made are colourful plaited mat, gravitation, measuring out, magnetic and sound etc. After that there is an increasing the quantity of tool in each school. Also an increasing teacher competence to made science tool of play (ABS). The peer teaching show that the resul learning cognitif, afective and phycomotoric increse sicnificantly.

Abstract

Gizi yang baik merupakan pondasi kesehatan untuk itu perlunya pemenuhan gizi di keluarga, pemenuhan gizi harus dimulai sejak dini yaitu saat mulai dalam kandungan, bayi, balita karena pemenuhan gizi sangat berpengaruh untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Kadarzi merupakan keluarga yang dapat mengetahui mencegah dan mengatasi permasalahan gizi di dalam suatu keluarga dengan mempertimbangkan lima indicator kadarzi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan sample masyarakat dusun plumbon RT 1-6 dan RT 34 dengan jumlah sample 52  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan di dapatkan kesimpulan bahwa masyarakat di daerah tersebut belum sepenuhnya menerapkan perilaku Kadarzi. Intervensi yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode penyuluhan kepada masyarakat menggunakan media ceramah, slide power point, poster dan leaflet. Dampak dari intervensi tersebut, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kadarzi khususnya terkait konsumsi suplemen gizi dan vitamin A.
